Content the ball had made its mark, he took a small breather but was interrupted not too long after as the ball erupted forth with the strange flat fish like Pokemon showing its face again. "Guess it's still got some fight left in it. Well, fine by me, don't want any chumps on this team. Alright tim-Woah!" Before he could prepare yet another Lure Ball, he was taken aback as the Pokemon shot forth a pressurised shot of water.
Hurtling towards Typhon, the Gible was completely defenceless. It had been surprised by the Lure Ball breaking apart. As it turned in time, it opened up its mouth to speak but was met with the steady stream of water. "TYPHON-ARAHAHAHGLGLALAHBLELABLE!" Drenched by the shot, Joey gritted his teeth as he finally prepared another capture to go. "Let's see how this one goes! Alright, aim careful this thing's odd flatness is gonna make this tough." Lobbing it upwards, he hoped he had anticipated a good overhead throw to land on the bizarre flounder.

The spunky little flatfish continued to glare at Joey and his Gible, blaming the pair for all of the issues it was now facing. How dare they force Stunfisk to endure the cold winds of autumn? How dare they fight it unnecessarily? And how dare this human attempt to solve both of these problems by catching it? What a rude duo! Once again, the human whipped out a blue and red ball, identical to the last one that had struck Stunfisk, and tossed it out into the ocean. Stunfisk tried to dive down and dodge this time, but cursed its body as it realised just how hard it was for a flat body resting on the water to submerge itself. Surely that was this trainer’s fault too! The Lure Ball encapsulated the rare Electric/Ground combination and closed tightly shut. It wriggled back and forth while Typhon splashed about in the water looking anxious for battle. Once… Twice… … PING!! Congratulations! Joey has caught the Stunfisk! With the Lure Ball eventually confirming its capture with a resounding click, Joey smirked to himself triumphantly. "Another one to the fold." No doubt he'd find a use for a such a bizarre and uncommon Pokemon. He just had to get it. "Oi Typhon, make yerself useful and fetch the ball for me. It's way too far out." Shaking his head, he wasn't keen on going for another dip any time soon. "TYPHON GO!" With the infant Gible tasked with returning the ball, it left Joey to his lonesome. "I do believe Typhon has beefed up from our little session. Now I got a feel for the area there's a couple of species in particular I wanna make sure he can face off against but... Hm? What do we have here?" His nose sniffing, he closed his eyes to try and heighten his tracking. Picking up on a pungent odour, he turned around, foiling the trespassing of a nearby Pokemon.
"Heh, gonna have to do better than that to sneak up on ol' Joe." Refraining from facing the Pokemon fully, he observed it with a side view and realised it was a Gloom. Given how used he was to noxious fumes and stenches, it was testament to this Gloom's smell for him to pick up on it. "Y'know, I still owe Harley for all the mayhem she had to endure when Yumina was runnin' about... You'll do nicely! Hah!" His arm unfurling from out of his pocket, he wasted no time in throwing the Quickball he had primed in his monologue. Tossing it forward, he waited for it to ensnare his prey. As the ball honed in, Typhon had made it to Joey's side and passed on up the newly caught Stunfisk. "TYPHON FIGHT?!" Grinning, Joey nodded at the ball encapsulating the Grass type. "Wait an' see."

Gloom walked carelessly through the grass, the weather was cold. But not unpleasant not yet anyway. It didn't noticed the strong smell it released and it was used to it. The large plant Pokemon heard the sound of voices and slowly turned to the sound to see a Pokemon training looming over it. It quickly turned around and Pokeball was fired.
One... *pop.
Oh dear that's not good. The now angry wild Gloom, shook it's bulbs on top of its head. A purple powder rained down on top of Typhon for awhile it seemed like nothing happened. The Gloom did not stop the with the angry look it had across the it's purple body. Finally something happened Typhon glowed a purple colour and took some damage. Suddenly a big snow storm fell from the sky, and the cold snow hit the poor Pokemon. It's hail time. Battle

It was a good thing Typhon had returned to Joey's side by the time he did. As the Gloom managed to break free from the confines of the device, it dawned upon Joey it was going to counter attack. Without having to say anything Typhon moved in front of harm's way, bodying the full brunt of poisonous spores that had floated over. "TYPHON!" Called out Joey as he realised he had been poisoned. Spluttering violently, Typhon persevered. "TYPHON OKAY!" Nodding, Joey praised his Pokemon's courageous behaviour. "You took that on like a champ... I owe ya." However, things weren't quite over. As the clouds above littered the earth below with a helping of hail stones, Joey battered away some from himself but saw Typhon was struggling with his own. "Dammit, I thought we only just got over this hailstorm. Grrr..." Picking up on Joey's annoyance, Typhon bounced up and down.
"TYPHON KNOW! TYPHON MAKE SANDSTORM!" Not understanding what Typhon was saying, Joey looked over to the Gloom and decided it would be alright to let the little tyke have some free reign. "Alright buddy, if you got a plan. I say go with it! Do what you gotta do!" Stomping forward with his little feet, Typhon opened up his mouth and a strange breath filled with sandy particles began to stream outwards. "Huh, I see. He's making a sandstorm. Like our first encounter. Nice! Gets rid of the hail and puts some hurt on the enemy. Not to mention he's gonna be harder to hit given how poor the visibility becomes." Grinning, Joey pulled off his bandanna and tied it over his lower face in order to stop inhaling the sand. By the time he did, it seemed like the sandstorm was beginning to take hold.
OOC:
NOOOOO NOT THE HAIL! Typhon uses Sandstorm. No way am I dealing with more hail lol.

The wild Gloom shook in displeasure of the incoming hail mixed among the heavy snowflakes now pelting their way to the ground. What a dreary day! First the trainer coming out of nowhere with that terrible quick ball and now this! The flower pokémon hummed grumpily until the loud little dragon shouted a plan for ridding them all of the annoying ice pellets. However, Gloom wasn't sure it liked this any better. From its gaping maw a haze of brown dust spouted into the air. It took a little while, the Gloom watching with intense curiosity as to what was happening, but eventually the wet downfall turned into sandy winds. Gloom didn't like this at all! This wasn't helping at all, the trainer and his lackey were planning something bad and Gloom was going to be ready for it. The poisonous plant rooted itself, closed its eyes, and began chanting a dismal melody. Through the crackle of sand biting into everything in the area with the help of the storm Typhon had cooked up the song carried; permeating the gible's being in a chilling harmony. Or perhaps that was just the poison settling in. A churn of the dragon's stomach caused Typhon to recoil lightly but at least now the hail wasn't a worry. The sandstorm would veil his figure and damage his opponent whilst leaving him in a gentle caress. Wild Encounter Weather: Heavy Snow (Hail Effect) Sandstorm 1/5 Gloom | Level 34 | HP: 87% ( 83/95 ) Status: Normal Gloom used Lucky Chant! Squinting his eyes through the now vicious sandstorm, it bought back some less than comfortable memories of the time Typhon ambushed him and his squad. If he ever had doubts to the infant's battle prowess, he only had to recall that skirmish. Thankfully now though, he was on the other end. The sand may have still been an irritant but at least he knew he wasn't going to be devastated by any fearsome attacks. The Gloom wasn't a Pokemon to underestimate but if one thing was for certain, it didn't pack outlandish Dragon attacks that could sweep an entire team. "Okay, good job buddy, just stay careful! It could hit out from anywhere!"
Despite his warning, Joey could hear a rather bizarre melody over the howl of the sandstorm. It was faint but it appeared Typhon had been affected. "TYPHON FEEL WEIRD. BLAH." It exclaimed, looking around trying to ascertain the location of the Gloom. Eventually pinpointing the source of the nose, the Gible bounced up and down, alerting Joey to its location. "TYPHON FIND!" Grinning, Joey primed an Ultraball this time. He still had the intent of capturing it. "Alright, nice work mate. So I just... Gotta throw... THERE!" Despite the thick obscuration of the sand, Joey trusted his Pokemon's directions and lobbed the Ultraball out to capture. "Here goes nothin'!" Item used:

The ball whipped through the air, its thrower having properly accounted for the sands raging about the area, and once again the wild gloom was slapped in the face with a capture device. With a squeal the weed pokémon disappeared in a bright flash of light. The ball fell to the ground, center button illuminated in a the red glow denoting that the imprinting process was being attempted. One Shake...It was hard to tell thanks to the reduced vision caused by the sandstorm, but the ball was thrashing back and forth. Easiest way to tell was the red circular light wavering back and forth as the ultraball was shifted around. Unfortunately that was as far as it got. *POP*The gloom erupted back out of yet another one of Joey's pokéballs, and it didn't look any happier than it had before. This mostly cued by its grumbling hum. And, perhaps, the spew of acid that flew out toward Typhon. It was by no means a direct hit, the sandstorm doing it's job of aiding in the little dragon's evasion. The viscous liquid lapped at his side and burned, the majority of the attack sizzling on the ground at his feet. This didn't help the poison also eating away at Typhon's stomach. Wild Encounter Weather: Heavy Snow (Hail Effect) Sandstorm 2/5 Gloom | Level 34 | HP: 81% ( 77/95 ) Status: Normal Wild Gloom used Acid! Hoping for a resounding click to notify him of success over the sound of the sandstorm, Joey was met with disappointment as an abrupt pop meant the device had failed. "Tch! There goes another. Gonna have to employ the ol' five finger discount at the next Pokemart I visit." Fully aware of what this meant, Joey cupped a hand to the side of his mouth and hoped to guide Typhon to avoid the incoming retribution for the failed capture. "OI! TYPHON! Watch it, attack incoming!" Letting out an astute growl, the Pokemon did its best to try and avoid the incoming acid. As it landed with a splatter, Joey grimaced an expression. "Phew, this is gettin' intense." He wasn't wrong. So far they had dealt with a number of Pokemon, even other Gloom before this, but this was a particular difficult fight which was really testing Typhon's resilience.
Priming yet another capture device in his hand, it seemed like he was continuing the Ultraball offensive. "G'dammit, the Gloom may be makin' a strong impression but I bet after all this sand whittling away at it, it's losing steam." Squinting his eyes again, he was unable to get an exact fixture on it. "Typhon, you gotta act as my spotter okay? Single it out, let's go." Taking a few moments, the Pokemon assessed the area in front of it before diverting off slightly to the side, it seemed like the Gloom was trying to shake up where it was attacking from. "TYPHON SEE!" Cocking a smirk, Joey raised a ball and with a pitch, lobbed it forward. "Nice one, we make a great team. Hang in there mate, just a lil' more and we've got this!" Item used:

The spores on Gloom’s head shook with anticipation and a fighting morale that was uncontested by any other Pokemon near the Mahogany village. Being such a high level for a wild Pokemon, Gloom was quite ready to face any obstacle that came in its way, especially a trainer as strong as Joey. Ready to send out a powerful attack, Gloom stood chivalrous, ready for the opponent to make their move.
Gloom’s eyes widened (as much as they could for being almost always closed) as the ultra ball sped right for it. It cooed and attempted to dodge out of the way, but of course, it was no use. The ultra ball opened and released a bright light, consuming the poison Pokemon in its metaphorical web. What a day it had been. The sandstorm whirled around the battle and Gloom wondered to itself how long it could keep this charade up. The ball that encapsulated the Gloom fell to the ground and the sand whirled around it. It bobbed once, twice, and three times until a click summated that the Pokemon had been captured by Joey. Typhon’s Lucky Egg activated! Typhon gained 1250 exp! Chugga gained 1250 exp! Hoping this time around would be different, Joey had trouble keeping a eye on the device and had to rub down his eyes as the sand was beginning to get irritable. " C'mon, c'mooooon...! Stay in there, let's play nice." Mumbling to himself, he was taken aback when the ball itself resonated with a celebratory click. It had been captured. " And about time, heh!" Pleased things had turned around, he looked to his Gible and raised a curious eyebrow. " Uhh... You can make this subdue now, right?" Typhon bobbed up and down with a few excitable jumps. "TYPHON NOT SURE!" Not understanding his cries but instead seeing the sandstorm had failed to subside, he took that as the little tyke had no control over it. " Suppose this is what happens when you let the sand out of the bag... Meh." Shrugging, he took a step forward only to be surprised by the fact the sandstorm halted. " Guess it was runnin' out of sand to storm. Now where's that damn ball?" Looking around, he saw Typhon had got their first and had already bought the ball back " Nice one!" " TYPHON GET! TYPHON GET!" Allowing Joey to grab the ball, he quickly summoned the Gloom forth to greet it. " Howdy, hope we have no bad feelin's there. Was a pretty good fight. Seems like you can tank pretty well, huh?" Realising the Gloom had been summomned on uneven ground, he watched as the Pokemon went tumbling backwards down the embankment. " Ah crap." Tumbling on and on, it seemed like the Pokemon came to a halt but as it did, a sudden bright explosion of light blinded all in the area. " Now what?!" Exclaimed Joey, his arm covering the glare from hitting his eyes. Eventually dying down, it seemed almost as if the Pokemon had evolved somehow. Staring at the now fully evolved Vileplume, Joey came skidding down the hillside embankment and noticed what seemed to be the remains of a Leaf Stone. " I'll be damned, looks like all this sandstorm unearthed one of these beauties. We didn't let that go to waste." Laughing, he summoned back the Vileplume. " No doubt Harley'll be even more impressed. She always did like doin' that botany stuff. And now with an extra Vileplume to the ranks. Definitely repaid that IOU." Standing back up, he looked up to the hillside and pulled a face. " I leave that Gible alone for a minute and he's already in a scrap?" Jogging back up the steep slope, it seemed as if a local Flaaffy had been disturbed by the bright light and was taking out its anger on Typhon. " TYPHON NOT DO NOTHING!" Letting out a weary chuckle, Joey decided he'd push Typhon on. " We did all this trainin' and yer standin' around like a lemon? C'mon, show that 'mon a Dragon Claw." OOC: Using a Leaf Stone to evolve the Gloom before its sent off and boxed. Now requesting a Flaaffy to appear. Typhon uses Dragon Claw. Flaaffy had been hiding in a nearby bush, watching Joey capture the Gloom. Its eyes widened as Joey lowered some sort of rock down to the leaf Pokemon and it evolved! Of course Flaaffy was familiar with the concept of evolution, but it had never seen a Pokemon evolve through using a stone before. Perhaps it had much to learn in this lifetime.
Vileplume’s huge petals seemed luxurious and velvety, Flaaffy wanted to take a closer look at this fully evolved Pokemon that had been newly birthed into this new form. As Flaaffy was beginning to get close the Vileplume had faded away into a Pokeball, which left Flaaffy in quite a predicament. The Gible launched forward with a dragon claw attack and swiped Flaaffy right across the face. Flaaffy was unsure of what moves would work best against this rare Pokemon. It knew that it was dragon type but it was unsure of the other type that it had. The jewel on Flaaffy’s forehead shined bright and released a flurry of rock-type energy at the Gible. Although it didn’t do much damage, it was the only thing that Flaaffy could think of it the spur of the moment. Battle

Having ushered Typhon to take action, Joey cocked a grin as he watched the little rascal move in to engage. Dashing forward with a swipe of its stubby claws, the Gible let out a frenzied battle cry. "TYPHON CLAAAAAAW!" Damaging the Pokemon for some respectable damage, Joey's observation could pick up on the fact it had been hugely winded. Despite a beat down of its stamina, the Pokemon reared back and it wasn't long before a counter attack was made. Powering up the crystal on its head, Joey thankfully didn't have to call out to Typhon, he was on it. "TYPHON DODGE-HNGRK!" Although he was hit, the Pokemon had the best intentions.
"Nice, I could see what you were goin' for there. Good you're thinkin' on spacin' and all that. Important key to a fight is controlling factors like that." Having prepped a ball in his hand, he pulled out a yellow and black designed Ultraball. "Let me practice my aim. Not that i'm rusty..." Tossing it forward with a near flawless pitch, it was obvious Joey had received a lot of practice getting as good as he was with his throws. The menagerie of creatures that now lived back at his base were testament of his handiwork. "Why don't you tag along with us, eh? Sure I could find you a nice owner. Swear I heard somethin' in an ad somewhere about someone wanting a Flaaffy."

The somewhat nervous Flaaffy looked wearily from side to side. The wild, screaming Gible made the wild Pokemon feel a little more than uncomfortable. All it had wanted to do was get a better look at the Vileplume which had evolved before its very eyes. It didn't expect getting clawed! Bleating weakly, the Flaaffy wondered if now was too late to attempt to find an escape route. With a flick of its tail, it could escape into the tall grass were it could be safe once more and if it ever felt that curious urge to investigate something again, the strength of Typhon's claws would remind it to do otherwise! Unfortunately, fleeing was not a possibility. Especially when a Pokeball throwing maniac like Joey was on the scene.
Already he had plans for the Flaaffy so with a curve of his arm, he sent another orb soaring through the air. Waving its own arms, the Flaaffy had no idea how to react. Should it dodge the flying ball, attack it, flee? There were just so many options that the poor Pokemon ended up freezing on the spot! Allowing the Ultra Ball to tap against its body, the Pokemon looked helpless as it was drawn inside. Closing and shaking from side to side, it was captured with little to no trouble.
WIGGLE. WIGGLE. WIGGLE. . . . TING!

Thrusting his fist in the air as the ball managed to not only snag the Pokemon inside of its confines but also capture it, Joey was glad that ended before it could escalate. "Phew, I think it's about time we-Ah crumbs..." Trailing off, he looked to notice another Pokemon had come to the Flaaffy's aid. All too late however. Quickly collecting the capture device which now hosted the new sheep, Joey noticed a similar fluffy cotton like creature was now fighting off against Typhon.
"TYPHON SURPRISED! AHHHHH!" Clearly caught off guard, it seemed as if the Pokemon now attacking them was none other than a Swablu. "With all this hail i'm not too keen on hangin' around here. Spent way too much time as it is on our lil' training session. Ease up, Typhon, I got this!" Reactively pulling out a blue and yellow Quickball from his pocket, he primed it with his thumb tapping on the centre, causing it to enlarge. "If you're so set on protectin' ya buddy, why don't ya come with, eh?!" Tossing it forward, he hoped the curveball would be enough to land the spherical device on the fluffy avian.
