Lilligant was a beautiful Pokemon who had really caused Whitney's eyes to sparkle but as the young Gym Leader fell in love with the princess looking Pokemon, both she and Alex had begun to unravel their plan. If Whitney didn't snap out of it, her Miltank would be in for a world of hurt. Using Quiver Dance, she had not only raised her speed thanks to her agile footwork but also her honed in her attack and heightened her defences. Then, by using Leech Seed, the life zapping vines would continuously drain a good amount of the Miltank's health, returning some of it back to Lilligant, herself. With this upcoming attack, it allowed even more health to be returned back to the grass type, meaning that all the Body Slam's Whitneys Miltank had done up until this point were practically for naught! Ever so slowly realising this, there was one other problem. She could take a gamble and attack with a Zen Headbutt, in hopes that the Lilligant would become confused and hurt herself, meaning that the only health she would regain would be a small amount from the Leech Seed.
However, Alex had that strategy worked out too. Chryaisy had her own tempo, making it very difficult for this Pokemon to fall into a state of confusion. The trainer had a lot of bases covered, now, it was just the case of draining the Miltank's energy away and securing his victory. A thoughtful hand on her chin, the Gym Leader smiled to herself, "I think I get it now... Earlier, when I said you were cheating, I was just so surprised. Surprised that no one could come up with such an interesting strategy as this one!" Complimenting Alex, she clapped her hands together, delighted that she now knew about Lilligant's evolution line. "Heehee, I could never replace my Clefairy or Miltank to become a Grass type trainer. Normal types always have and always will be my favourite! I suppose I could make a space in my tram for a precious Lilligant, though!" Snorting from her nostrils, after this battle, Miltank would rather not see a Lilligant ever again. The usually bulky Pokemon was capable of taking most opponents down with ease, how could this one be taking so long?!
Using her powers, Chryaisy summoned her attack, focusing on the body of the Miltank and with a bit of extra help from her planted seeds, the Lilligant used Giga Drain to suck away at the Miltank's energy. Feeling its vision weaken, the Miltank grunted and tripped forward, barely able to keep itself upright as such a large amount of health suddenly disappeared without a trace. Biting at her thumb nail, Whitney intervened. "Good try but Miltank is able to heal herself, too! Use Milk Drink!" Squeezing milk from its own udders, the Miltank managed to regain quite a bit of lost energy all by itself. Wiping a arm across its mouth once it had its fill, the cow smirked. "A Miltank's milk is full of tasty nutrients! By now, I bet Miltank is fighting fit, just how she was at the very beginning of the battle!" Winking, it seemed to be that Milk Drink was the Miltank's signature move. The Leech Seed drained a bit more of her health but the Pokemon was still able to stand.

OOC: i actually forget my pokemon have own tempo, though i have been more concern with body slam activating paralysis
"Well thank you, I always try to go to a gym with a strategy in my mind. If they're going to be tough, then I need to prepare better, right?" Alex replied, thanking the normal type gym leader for her compliment. He knew that this battle was just getting more and more interesting. Most importantly, either his strategy was working or it wasn't.
As the battle continued, his boosted Lilligant was able to drain some life out of the Miltank and recover herself. In return, the blubbery Miltank was able to drink from the nutrients that it produced, recovering the life that Chryaisy had just taken. Then the Leech Seed happened, which made this just a battle of energy.
"Cool, I have never seen a Pokemon with Milk Drink before. I knew that Falkner had Roost, but I don't think Milk Drink would be your TM, right? It wouldn't be pasteurized milk, though? Now that we're playing with life, Chryaisy, go for another Giga Drain!" Alex commented, a bit astounded from watching the Miltank recovering itself the way it did from drinking the milky nutrients. He watched as the battle continued, going for another round.

Wriggling her finger in the air, Whitney smiled and seemed to agree with Alex. "That is right! Milk Drink is a move that only Miltank knows! It can't be taught by TM. If you want to use such a useful attack, you will need to raise a Miltank of your own! Although I have heard of a particular grass type Pokemon that can learn the move too, what is it called again?..." Trailing off to herself, Whitney didn't allow herself to be lost in her own thoughts for too long as she then clicked her fingers together in realisation. "You wont know what treats I can offer unless you defeat me!" But by this point, the battle appeared to be one sided. If Whitney felt the need to start ordering this strange, healing move, then clearly she could tell that the energy of her Pokemon had deteriorated. For the Gym Leader, that was a bad sign, it meant that they had more training that they needed to do rather than the challenger. "Have you ever tasted Moo Moo Milk?!" Whitney suddenly questioned with an eager tone, "If you ever get to Olivine City, make sure to stop off at the farm there! Then you'll learn that Miltank produce the TASTIEST milk!" Something that she clearly enjoyed drinking, the girl swayed on the spot in glee.
"Okay Miltank, you look all set and ready to go! Get back in the ring with another Body Slam! DING DING!" Cheering from the side lines, her Miltank wasn't as full of energy than she had anticipated. Chryaisy, swift on her feet due to the previous Quiver Dance, was able to move that bit faster. Using Giga Drain once again, the Miltank flinched as it once again went through the bizarre feeling of it's energy being drained away. Wobbling on the spot as the Lilligant progressed through her attack, Whitney eventually cottoned on. "M-Miltank?" But her query was too late. Lilligant had the upper hand in this battle and all of a sudden, the Miltank feel forward, fainting on the Gym floor. Absolutely lost in confusion, her fear and upset was plastered across the girls face. "W-What?! How this this... Why?!... No! NOOO!"

"This... This can't be happening!... There is no way... No way that my Miltank... Can lose?!" Muttering to herself on the other side of the Gym, it seemed that whilst Whitney had initially come across as pleasant, she was a sore loser. Not able to accept her loss, the girl looked across the Alex with a face of thunder. Her once soft complexion now a deep shade of crimson, just to show how incredibly enraged she was. "I... I refuse to give my badge to you! Get out!" Bellowing out in anger, the girl withdrew her Pokemon and that was when the tears started. Sobbing to begin with, she suddenly howled out, tears streaming down her frustrated frown. Turning on her heel, the girl fled to the back of the Gym, leaving the victor standing alone. But just behind him, shuffling could be heard which was followed by a voice.
"Ooh? A challenger?"
Skipping closer, another teenage girl emerged. "Hey there! My name is Carrie! Are you here.. to.. face...?" Looking over to the Lilligant, it was clear that what she thought had been a challenger was actually someone who had likely just defeated Whitney. Then, her body froze, she was certain that she could hear crying. "Oooh. I think I understand what has gone on here." Rolling her eyes, the girl rubbed her forehead, "Just give me one moment, please." Hurrying off in the direction Whitney had escaped, it took a good five minutes before the girl known as Carrie reappeared. "Phew! Sorry about that! Whitney doesn't take too kindly to loosing. At anything, in fact, not just Pokemon battles. Im sure if she were able to talk, she would tell you that you are an excellent trainer and deserve this badge!" All of a sudden, the girl pushed a set of items into the hands of Alex, ranging from the badge to a bit of money. "And this TM is called Attract. It makes the Pokemon of the opposite gender fall in love with the user! Cute, huh?!" Giggling, it was quite a scary sounding move, so it was good that Alex used female Pokemon. "Well, I got nothing else to give you and Whitney'll be busy for a while... Good luck on your journey!"

Listening to the gym leader explaining the move Milk Drink, Alex was now curious to look up which Pokemon would have this move as well, but he'll have to do it when he get back to the Pokemon Center after this battle. Then, he shook his head at the Moo Moo Milk question, of course he hadn't! Neither did his Pokemon yet, but they didn't really need the Moomoo Drink now, as most of the times in his battles, he didn't need to recover his Pokemon's health. Well, except that time battling with a Gengar late at night that he had completely forgotten to heal up between moving areas.
He would not do that again.
As the battle continued, his naive Chryaisy was able to use her nimble feet and mind to knock the Miltank out of the fray. What was once the nutritious Miltank was no more. It fainted! Then, much to this trainer's surprise, the gym leader was being hysterical at the face of a loss. He could see clearly that the Miltank passed out! She was so stubborn! And Childish!
Thankfully though, a young female who seemed to be the other gym participant had returned. Perhaps, she was the one who went to have a dentist visit? It didn't take her long to realize what was going on, and handed his prizes after he had waited a couple minutes. He smiled at the girl and departed, saying, "Thank you, Carrie! Tell Whitney I had a great time battling her, okay?" He walked casually until he left the gym, and when the door closed, he energetically went toward the Pokemon Center to heal up! HOORAY!
