The clumsy Spinda continued to trip over itself as it staggering around in circles on the spot, swirling eyes glaring over at Leo and his trainer. The Squirtle seemed oblivious to what was going on but the Spinda knew. It knew a thief when it saw one. After all, it had followed the escaping berry into this very location, where it had suddenly disappeared, yet both Leo and Suzy were standing in front of the Spinda. Nope! It hadn't even considered that the low swooping Spearow had stolen the berry, in the puzzled bears mind, these two were the only possible suspects and it was going to bring them to justice. In order to revenge it's stolen snack, all the Spinda had to do was win this battle, then it could boss both Leo and the human around to gather even more berries to replace the one they had taken. It was an ingenious idea! The Spinda could then return back to the other group of Spinda, with a pile so big that their eyes and belly would pop. Then it would be known as the berry master!
Almost feeling itself dribble over the idea of getting stuck into a pile of berries, the wild Spinda roughly shook it's head. Before it could indulge itself in food, it had something to do first. With a shrug of his arms, Leo had no idea what this wild Pokemon was on. Thus, he pursed his mouth and shot a powerful burst of water out from within his body. Striking the Spinda square in the grumbling gut, the bear growled quietly, tripping backwards over itself and landing on the cold, hard ground. Gritting it's teeth, the bear managed to sway itself back up onto it's feet before once again tripping straight for Leo. Tackling it's entire body into the Squirtle, the wild Spinda put all it's effort and weight into the attack. Perhaps Leo hadn't stolen the berry and it was hidden within his shell or something. Either way, this simple Pokemon only had berries on it's mind and would do until the bitter end.

Suzy Smiled, pulling out a pokeball as she looked at the topsy turvy Pokemon in front of her. Leo hadn't taken nearly as much damage as last battle which she was quite glad for. Sadly though the Spinda had taken a good amount of damage at that somewhat upset her. Looking to Leo she gave him a kind gentle smile before looking back at the Spinda. Picking her arm up she readied to throw the pokeball forward. "Go Pokeball!" Suzy cheered as the ball rocketed forward towards the Spinda. Enveloping the creature in a red light before the ball fell to the ground. Now only fait could decide whether the Spinda was hers.

The Spinda tilted it's head a bit when the enemy Squirtle didn't seem to do anything else. Then all of a sudden the Trainer called out something before a red a white 'ball' was thrown at the poor thing. The Spinda didn't know what this thing was but it couldn't do anything before the thing turned the Spinda into a red beam which went inside it. All the spinda could do was try and break out while the device in the mean time began to shake 3 times before it stopped and the red circle went with no clear breaking out of the pokemon. The spinda had lost teh battle and was now a member of the trainer's team. one... Two... Three.. Looks like the Spinda is caught. Leo fought well and gained 2 levels!

Suzy walked over to her new Pokemon, the Spinda that layed within the pokeball she had. Looking over to Leo she said. "How do you feel about the name 'Topsy'?" It was suppose to be an ode to her Ballet Teachers Spinda who's name was Turvy. The Pokemon still brought back memories from her days in Lumioso, man she missed her home. Turning to her Squirtle, her eyes resting on its glasses she heard it reply with a "Squir-tle!" The creature even gave her a thumbs up. She smiled getting on her knees and rubbing the Pokemon's head. "Okay little guy, Topsy it is. Hey do you want some rest? I think some of our other friends need to gain a few levels." Suzy spoke pulling out the Squirtles pokeball as she spoke. Leo in return slapped the ball out of her hand and shook his head. "Squirtle, Squirt!" Suzy went to pick up the pokeball, putting it back into her bag. "I take that as a no then, fine let's keep walking Leo."
Suzy picked herself up and pulled her bag back over her sholders, looking down at her Squirtle and then back up at the path she continued walking. It wasn't long now till they would need to stop and take a break, the sun was already closer to sunset. It was most likely 6:00. Soon they would need to stop and rest, but maybe a little farther see what else they may find.

Upon capturing the wild Spinda, Suzy took a moment to decide on a name, running an idea past her Squirtle before officially naming the spinning bear Topsy. Spinda were certainly strange little bears but they were cute in their own way and pretty strong if used correctly in battles. Although, the same could be said for most Pokemon. Giving her Squirtle, Leo, a chance to take a quick break, the water type didn't seem happy with the idea and made sure Suzy knew of it. Picking the Pokeball back up after having it smacked straight out of her hands, the young, female trainer gathered her belongings and continued her exploration across the route. The sun in the sky was begin to drift below the tree line, an array of warm oranges giving the region a final, gentle glow before disappearing off for the night. Suzy was almost at Cherrygrove City but there was still a way to go. Hopefully she wouldn't become lost in the dead of the night.
The route seemed to change in atmosphere the later in the day it became. Perhaps it was the wild Pokemon curling up to rest... Before the tougher opponents reared their heads. Walking next to his trainer, Leo was keeping his eyes out for any movement from the tall grass. Not expecting an attack from above. Out of virtually nowhere, a high pitch shriek cried out and a purple blur shot past Suzy's face. Landing on the dirt path just in front of her, it seemed that she had come across another opponent. Only, this one was odd. Fangs glaring, it was incredibly energetic, it just couldn't seem to stand still. Plus, where the heck did it even come from? Darting about on it's little claws, the purple rodent known as Rattata seemed, er, eager to battle. In a way, the way it acted and glint to its eyes made it almost look rabid.

With the appearance of a new Pokemon Suzy felt much more ready and at ease. The gained experience of capturing the Pokemon made this slightly easier. The Rattata seemed agitated, upset, and ready to battle, so Suzy reacted. Leo stepped forward but Suzy put a foot between him and the battle field. "I understand that you don't want to go back into your ball, but you already have more levels than half of our friends. Let some one else get some battling in ok?" After a moment of hesitation Leo stepped down but not before he gave an annoyed grumbling sound. Suzy rifled through her bag before pulling out one of her pokeballs. Pressing the button the pokeball grew in her hand. "Lune I Choose You!"
With that the Hoothoot came out of her ball with a flash of light. Her little night cap coming off as she was woken again. Lune realized what was happening and got to its foot. Puffing out its chest the Hoothoot readied to attack. Suzy called out. "Lune use Growl!" Lune let out an angry growl at the Rattata, she seemed upset.

With Suzy's Hoothoot Lune was ready as ever and began to charge. Sadly for Lune eventhough Suzy had given lune an order lune just wasn't quick enough. With that said the rattata smiled a little as it was ablt to hit into the hoothoot making it skid back a bit so Lune was a bit behind Suzy. Lune quikly shook itself before walking back to where she was and got ready to aattack. that last attack somewhat annoyed her onto of being woken up for the battle. Lune began to let out an angry cry that hurt the Wild Ratata's ears a bit. This was shown as the rattata shook it head while it had a look to say: "ow my poor ears". With the attack seeming succesfull Lune awaited her trainer's next orders before the rattata attacked again. However not long after that hail began to hit both pokemon causing a little bit of pain to borth pokemon but both simply shook it off. As the Hail started to come down Suzy regretted her choice to stay out. Using her bag as a shield, Leo clinging to her leg. Suzy began to think to fast for her own good. Grabbing Hoothoot's pokeball she yelled. "Lune Return!" As the injured Pokemon reverted back to red energy and was taken back into her ball, Suzy breathed a little easier. Now her choices were to flee, send out another Pokemon, or throw a pokeball. She wanted to flee but didn't want the Ratatta to suffer in the hail. Grabbing a Pokeball she threw it in a desperate attempt to catch the Rattata, if it wasn't captured in this throw then she may flee.

As Suzy chucked the Pokeball forward, it soared through the air on with a swift curve and found itself dabbing against the purple rat's body. Absorbing it in a red light, the Pokemon was covered from head to toe as it was digitised and scooped into the centre of the spherical capture device. Falling to the floor with a plonk, the capture was now under way. Working to bring this battle to a swift end, it was a wise decision throwing a Pokeball to conclude the fight, no matter how small the odds of success were. Wanting to get out of the terrible weather and also being kind enough to bring the Rattata with her, it was a selfless gesture. Most other trainers would leave the Pokemon to endure the harsh weather conditions without so much a care. Settling on the ground, the ball began rocking back and forth, processing the newly acquired Pokemon. Given how bad the weather was, it was likely the Pokemon would join her merry band. Once... Twice... Thrice...

Your Hoothoot fought courageously and has levelled up! She gained 3 levels and is now Level 7!Lune learnt the move Hypnosis! The battle over and so too were the hailstorm clouds, it seemed as if the weather above had decided to change its mind on how it wanted to behave. The dark looming clouds letting off a quaking roar of thunder, it wasn't long before droplets of rain began to pour downwards. Despite the shift in weather, Suzy had at least rescued the Rattata from potential flooding issues. Sadly before Suzy could be on with her way after collecting the Pokeball, it seemed as if there was a figure looming behind here which had observed what she had just done. Sporting a maroon coloured hair and a startling hue of silver colouring his eyes, it was a little intimidating to say the least. Especially so when coupled with his sour expression and moody glare. The rain pouring down on him, he continued to glare. Tilting his head cockily to the side, this moody looking teenager didn't appear warm in the slightest, if anything, akin to the miserable weather they were experiencing. His hand casually slipping into one of his pockets and the other left hanging by his side, the youth called out and didn't appear to be in the mindset of making friends with Suzy. " Hmph. I saw what just happened. That Pokemon. You caught it. Why? It's weak. One little growl and it decided to remain in the safety of a Pokeball. Tch." A genuine master of observation, he leered his unsettling eyes as he began to make clear his views on her act of kindness. " Then again, wouldn't expect a girl to know anything about raising a Pokemon." Now sporting a vindictive smile, he took his hand out of his pocket and made aware he had a Pokemon of his own, wanting to battle. Tossing it forward, it revealed a feisty looking Chikorita. The saying like trainer, like Pokemon was about to take a whole new dimension. " Stupid little runt, of all the Pokemon I could have stolen and it just happened to be your sorry hide." His voice full of resentment and venom, it was surprising that the Chikorita seemed to feed off the malice. Letting out a growl at Suzy, it seemed really desperate to get her master's approval. Instead, he shifted his creepy eyes to Suzy and continued his bullying tone. " Don't think you can end the battle with me by just taking the easy route and throwing a Pokeball. Trainer battles don't work like that." Throwing down a challenge to fight, he was definitely doing everything he could to goad Suzy into a battle. Although, what he hadn't anticipated was that there was a fair bit of distance between them. If she chose to do so, she could ignore him completely and be on her way. Silver Encounter
??? comes out of nowhere to challenge you! He sends forth Chikorita (Level 6), who whips its leaf around! Please select a Pokemon for battle OR FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, FLEE. Rain will be in effect. OOC: So yeah. Didn't know if you were looking for a trainer or what so that's why i'm allowing a get out of jail card. Or rather, get out of having to face punkass Silver. Your call.

Just as she threw the Poké ball the hail seemed to stop leaving dark grey clouds as a reminder. After a few shakes the Poké ball seemed to have caught the wild Rattata. Suzy was honestly quite surprised that she had gotten this far and had yet to have a Pokemon faint. Patting herself in the back mentally she set down her bag once again and went to collect the ball. Leo seeming to have gotten the idea joined her shortly after even picking up the ball for her. "Thank you Leo." She said as she took the ball. Rattata's where never really common around Lumiose so she didn't have any fun backstory memories. "How about Kate." The name of her old ballet partner. Truthfully she didn't like the girl much but they always had an affinity for rodent Pokemon. Leo seemed to agree whole heartedly. Suzy put the ball in her bag and pulled it to her shoulders.
Suzy had decided she wanted to go in now, she wasn't too far from Cherrygrove by now and the weather seemed like it would get worse. In fact just as that thought came to mind a small light drizzle. Suzy not wanting to get any more cold and wet than she already was took the hoody around her waist and put it on, hiding the little froakie shirt she wore. Leo on the other hand seemed to enjoy the water and was rather okay with this change of events. About to start walking the young girl heard a voice. An older teenager crossed her path, his chikorita by his side. He sneered at her, his spiteful words burning like acid in her skin. But instead of cry she became angry. Anger etched on her face she Suzy took a step forward and spoke. "You know what jerk face, all Pokemon are great and you have no right to question some random little girl about what she can and can't do." Leo seemed to step forward with her, looking towards the Chikorita in more worry than anger. But it was hard to see this through his sun glasses. Suzy continued looking Silver dead in the face. "If you want a fight you've got one. But when you lose you better step off!"
Looking down at Leo she smiled, seeing him looking back at her. As if they both knew what the other was thinking the Squirtle ran foward taking his place on the battle field. "Squirtle use Tail Whip!" The Pokemon turned his back and began to whip his tail back and forth.

The unknown boy just looked at Suzy as she spook and soon began to talk. "Call me all the names you wish but pokemon are ONLY great if they can prove themselfs in battle. If they can't battle well enough then they are weak and shouldn't be cared for." The unknown boy then looked at his chikorita before speaking more. "The only one losing here is you and your turtle." The unknown boy then said after hearing Suzy saying about him losing this battle. "Tail Whip huh? Just proves you are weak. Use Tackle and don't think about it being a weak attack!" The unknown boy then finished off before kicking his chikorita a bit causing it a shreek before it stopped fearing it's trainer. It then looked at the Squirtle in front of them which soon began to wags it's tail making the chikorita smile a bit. It then relised what it's trainer would say and shook it's head before charging into the Squirtle. Leo wasn't expecting this and skid back a bit before the chikorita quickly returned to it's trainer. Suzy grinned mischievously. She had a plan, and knew just how to execute it. Looking down to Leo to make sure he was ok, the young trainer nodded to him. Leo smiled and gave her a thumbs up in reply. Turning back to the battle the Squirtle readied himself for his trainers command. "I may be young, but I know that status moves help in battle more than brute strength. I also know in a few more moves you will be running to a Pokemon center. To bad you will have to make up a story instead of saying you got beat by a random little girl." Suzy was angry at the trainer and pitied their chikorita but if this was what it took to prove that she wasn't weak than so be it. As the rain poured down she said. "Leo use Tackle!" To which Leo happily did. Running forward the Squirtle went in for a tackle on the Chikorita.

The Unknown man didn't listen to what Suzy said and instead begant to talk about other things instead. "I see that. You care for your pokemon don't you? Pathetic! Pokemon are tools to be used, and you will learn that" The unknown man said before looking down at his Chikorita. "Now stop with teh weak attacks and use Tackle!" The chikorita shivered a little before rushing towards the Squirlte however the Squirtle Leo was too quick for the Chikorita and caused her to fall back and hit thier owner's legs. The chikorita then quickly got back up trying not the shw the hurt from that attack in front of thier trainer. They began to charge again and this time hit into Leo who unlukily for the Chikorita didn't do much. As such Leo took the attack and skid a little before looking back at his trianer waiting for the nest move. "Pathetic.." The unknown man said towards his chikorita seeing that last attack. Battle

Suzy's face scrunched up, her once mischievous look now more akin to anger and frustration. How could this kid, one with so much potential be so mean to his Pokemon. Calling them pathetic when they are trying so hard, it made the young trainer so upset she almost forgot what was happening. With the rain poring down she decided to no longer fight this trainer with words but instead with action. Leo standing by her side now, she patted his smooth head and then pointed towards the chikorita. "Leo use Tackle again!" With that Leo raced forward, ready to please his master.

Suzy’s change in facial expression showed quite clearly how her anger was beginning to mount, and this seemed to please the mysterious youth. He grinned maliciously, his piercing silver eyes staring into Suzy’s as he admired his handiwork. Despite how disadvantaged the owner was, this stare was more than enough to perturb even the hardiest of new trainers. Leo seemed to share Suzy’s concerns but wasn’t particularly bothered by the boy’s mind games. He growled fiercely, ready to wipe that smile off of the kid’s face for good. Chikorita continued to psych itself up, keen as ever to impress the cruel master. The boy finally spoke up after drinking in the moment for a few more seconds. “Don’t tell me you feel sorry for this weakling, kid. It deserves everything I’ve said to it. If it were stronger, it wouldn’t get the insults.” He looked down at his Pokémon with a mixture of disdain and disappointment on his face. “Chikorita, give that eyesore of a Squirtle one more Tackle! And this time, actually hurt the thing!” Chikorita gave a squeak to acknowledge the order and started to make a move toward Leo. One thing was for certain, this teenager seemed to be encouraging the Chikorita to do as well as it could. However, such a cruel trainer could hardly be praised for this disgusting behaviour. With one last glare of utter contempt, Leo charged forward to carry out his own trainer’s orders. He crashed into Chikorita with one powerful Tackle, giving it his all to show the opponent what a bit of compassion in a trainer could achieve. By some stroke of luck, reminiscent of a kids TV show, he actually seemed to score a really powerful strike. So powerful, in fact, that Chikorita quickly found herself slapping against her trainer’s lower leg. “WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT? YOU PATHETIC LITTLE-” the redhead started, before noticing that his servant probably wasn’t listening. The Chikorita was quite unconscious and unable to register any more insults right now. Battle

The boy glared at his defeated Chikorita for a while before pulling out a Pokéball and recalling the poor Grass type. “Still worthless…” was all he could muster. The boy then returned his gaze to Suzy, frowning quite seriously as he threw the spoils of victory her way. “Don’t you dare assume you’re better than me because of this! It’s all Chikorita’s fault for being so pathetic. I just need to get some better Pokémon, that’s all.” He smirked again, though it was hard to see what was so amusing. “A word of advice for you. Drop the compassionate nonsense if you want to be great. Weak Pokémon aren’t worth anyone’s time.” He then turned his back and began to leave, continuing to talk as big as ever while he walked. “You’ll be hearing more about me, so you’ll soon know just how right I was, kid! The name’s Silver. You’d do well to remember it. Before long, the youth known as Silver was out of Suzy’s sight, and she could return to other business. Suzy has defeated ???, who revealed his name to be Silver!Suzy earned £300 for her victory.
