Saeyoung whined quietly, tucking her tail for just a moment. Why was the feline so mean? It didn't seem to share her fun, and its teeth were actually starting to hurt. Her ears twitched back as the cat gave a low hiss, beginning to grow angry. She just wanted to play! Why didn't the Meowth want to play? Well, if it wouldn't play, she'd just make it! The Rockruff lunged forward, sinking its teeth into the cat's pelt. She let go quickly, leaping to the side, but not fast enough to keep from being scratched. The canine rolled, coming up to sink her teeth into the Meowth, sending it tumbling. Ten's eyes widened, and she called off the Rockruff. She stepped forward, returning Saeyoung to her Poke Ball with a pat on the head. Scooping up the Meowth's limp body, she walked over and set it out of sight, so that it could heal up without being attacked. After doing so, she returned to the Pokemon Center briefly. She put Saeyoung and Felidae into the Pokemon Center, withdrawing Naja the Ekans and Tyto the Rowlet. Once she was done, she began to walk around Cherrygrove once more. 197 WORDS

It was an interesting time for Pokemon in Cherrygrove, as the streets were filled with a thick layer of ice, creating a slick surface for trainers, but an unusually interest playing field for their Pokemon. The land dwellers got to have fun sliding to and froe, whilst those in the sky had to pout on their roosts. Speaking of roosts, we find our antagonist for Sebastene overlooking the city streets from a high up roof. Atop, it looks down at the Pokemon and their trainers having fun hurrying to get to their family Christmas.
What a delightfully fun time to ruin someone day, Spearow flew down to see what these trainers were up to, picking on some of the most fun ones to mess with was its favorite pastime. There were times when they would drop shiny jewelry too! Such items were prized by the bird and were put in its nest for safe keeping. The Spearow decided to come bug Sebastene, fresh out of the Pokemon Center. She was bound to have some fun Pokemon up her sleeve!
Uh-oh! A Spearow (level 7) has come to battle! Choose a Pokemon for combat! All land dwellers gain +1 SPD due to Chinook! ((Updated the Pokemon switches, let me know if something looks incorrect~))4Vg|gJ6x1-421-42

Sebastene walked out of the Pokemon Center, the switched out Poke Balls gleaming in her hands. She eyed them as she began to pace around Cherrygrove once more, stepping carefully on the iced-over pathways. When she nearly slipped on the ice, she hurried to put the Poke Balls away, now focusing more on the ice. It had iced over quickly while she was in the Pokemon Center, as she knew it wasn't this bad earlier on, when it was foggy and she was fighting the Ekans. The red-head startled when a fluffball of a bird-Pokemon came fluttered down in front of her, arms snapping out to balance herself. She raised an eyebrow at the Spearow, and pulled out her Torkoal's Poke Ball. It was a comfortable heat in her hand, and appeared to steam slightly in the cold air. The Torkoal materialized in front of the Spearow, flaring out the flames on her shelf. "Noid!" she called, "use Ember twice!" 000 WORDS TAGGED Sending out Noid the Torkoal Using Ember x2 Using running shoes

The Spearow squaked and watched Noid carefully, making sure to note when it was about to spit out some fiery coals from its volcano-like body. Noid puffed out a cloud of white smoke, heating up its body to get ready for battle. Her body was well suited to handle temperatures such as this, as long as there’s no rain pouring down, Torkoal was good to go!
Although Noid could utilize the ice to her advantage, she was still slower than the bird Pokemon. The tortoise Pokemon watched as the Spearow quickly dove down with a peck attack, piercing the fire Pokemon. In return the fire Pokemon spat out an Ember attack, truly the old-faithful to every fire type Pokemon. The Spearow screeched in pain, but regardless swooped down once more, it can’t give up now! Obviously Torkoal too used her same move as well, however she wouldn’t be lucky enough to get a burn infliction on her bird-brained foe. Ten tilted her head as she watched the Spearow and Torkoal face off. Noid had a type advantage, but she didn't know how powerful the Spearow was. It couldn't be too powerful, or it would be a Fearow by now, but that didn't mean it wouldn't be stronger than Noid. Hopefully the fire-type would be able to get this over with; hopefully the ice would help speed up her slow Pokemon. The scientist grimaced as the Spearow flew down, pecking the Torkoal's shell. But thankfully the Torkoal's shell was hard, so it didn't do too much damage. Noid fired an Ember attack quickly, before being Pecked again and repeating. "Finish this, Noid. Use Ember again!"000 WORDS TAGGED NOTES

It was strange. Usually, Spearow stayed grounded due to the stress that constant flight would put on their underdeveloped wings. Though, for some reason, this little Flying type seemed quite determined to avoid the ground, hovering as it did in the air before Noid. Perhaps it didn't like getting its feet cold. It would've mattered little, seeing as how the Spearow was still faster than its tortoise-like adversary. Noid looked up at her foe, feet skating across the floor rather against her own will as she waited for the next attack to come. Within seconds, the Spearow swooped down, almost as if acknowledging that it had kept Noid waiting. A soft "clink" sound could be heard as the avian's beak struck the back of Noid's hard shell, barely leaving a mark in truth. Spearow fluttered its wings frantically after the ineffectual strike, trying to get out of harm's way as quickly as possible, but it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway. Noid waited, as the fires within her blinked and sparked out of the air. There were bad jokes in this post. Disapprovingly, Noid turned her head toward Spearow and tried to blew it up. A ferocious Ember attack erupted from her mouth, racing toward the Tiny Bird. Spearow gave a squawk of shock as it was pelted with the fire storm, trying to fight off the flames as best it could. But then its body fell and it was dead and not able to kill fight. This is what happens when I write at about 11:15 pm. I won't do it again, promise. Probably. Maybe. Kinda. Not really. No.Oh also... um...
Ten has beaten the wild Spearow! Noid gained 3 levels, reaching Level 8! I don't think Ten's saved Jimmy's sorry arse yet, has she? Shout at me if she has and Noid will get some happy. Ten fought down a laugh as she watched Noid, the tortoise struggling to get her feet under her. It seemed the heavy Pokemon was struggling on the ice, without the sharp claws needed to gain traction on the slippery surface. The Spearow's attack was rather comical, as the little bird conked into the fire-type's shell like a bird Pokemon into a glass window. She was rather surprised it didn't strike itself dumb, considering how hard its head collided with the fire-type Pokemon. The Noid's attack proved to be too much for the bird Pokemon to handle, knocking it out of the air. The red-haired scientist lobbed a Poke Ball at the fainted Spearow, quickling naming it before watching the Poke Ball vanish, back to the lab. That done, she would return Torkoal to the Poke Ball, before going back to wandering around Cherrygrove City. 000 WORDS TAGGED NOTES Spearow Name: [Aquila] Gender: Male Level: 7 Moves: Peck, Growl, Leer Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Personality: Fierce

(For the record, Spearow has been sent to Ten's box.)A new month meant new weather for Cherrygrove, and it was quite the drastic change. The coming of spring brought with it a warmth that the residents would probably have missed, with the sun now somewhat visible in the skies. However, as Ten resumed her wandering about the streets, she'd be able to see the heaps of snow, left behind from winter's storm, slowly melting away. Water started to build up underfoot slowly, though it was hard to believe that all of this was from the storm debris. Overhead, a flock of Taillow passed through the skies, chirping happily in delight at the warmer spring weather. Closer to earth, Ten would be able to hear the footsteps of everyone nearby. Humans and Pokémon alike splashed through the light covering of water that had already coated the pavements. The rhythmic splashing blended together, making it hard to identify any one particular source. However, as Ten searched the city, the noise would suddenly start to get quicker. Louder. Something was approaching. Something fast. The onrushing sounds bounced about, left to right, from behind her. Though before she could find the owner, it had already caught up to her. A fuzzy, brown creature sniffed loudly at Ten's leg, its bristly fur rubbing across the skin of her ankle. "Zag!" it exclaimed as it raised its head, realising exactly what it hard stumbled on. A slightly damp Zigzagoon ran off ahead of Ten before turning back to face her. It pounded its feet into the wet concrete beneath it with a contented expression on its face, squealing happily as the water moved around it. The playful creature looked up at Ten, as if waiting for her to make a move.

Thankfully, the snow was beginning to melt, giving the visually challenged trainer an easier time. It was still chilly, so she kept on her jacket. Each step splashed through the melted water, so much it was hard to believe it all came from the melted snow. Had she forgotten about a rainstorm? There was splashing all around her, as humans and Pokemon walked around Cherrygrove. However, the sound began to get faster and louder, and she looked around. She began to turn, only for something fuzzy and brown to almost slam into her. Its frazzled fur, not terribly soft, brushed against her ankle. It barked rather loudly, dashing away before turning to face her. Did it... want to battle? "Would you like to battle?" she asked and, if it accepted, she would send out Vanderwood the Bulbasaur, ordering him to use Vine Whip. 000 WORDS TAGGED Sent out Vanderwood the Bulbasaur Vanderwood used Vine Whip

When the word 'battle' was mentioned the raccoon-like pokémon bowed its head lower and stuck its jagged furred tail higher in the air like a playful pup. It waited, beady little eyes watching as the bulbasaur stepped up and took a position across from the wild pokémon. Zigzagoon wriggled its tail lightly, its tiny claws extending into the softened earth under the thin layer of water caused by the melting snow. It didn't seem to mind the moisture at all, though, Sebestene probably already deduced that by the fact the zigzagoon was already quite damp. As Vanderwood gave a nod to signal he was ready to start, the zigzagoon tilted its head to the side and sounded an adorable growl. Tongue lobbed out it bobbed its head and continued the playful stance. The sight made the bulbasaur feel a little less inclined to put everything he had into his first attack; but he couldn't do nothing either. True to the attack's name, a pair of fresh green vines whipped out from under the nutritious bulb seated on Vanderwood's back and snapped at the normal type. Zigzagoon attempted to jump out of the way but got nipped on the side as it did so. Wild Battle Weather: Water Sport Zigzagoon | Level 7 | HP: 70% (17/24) Status: Normal Used Growl! VS
