A calm breeze blew through Route 33 as Ashton and his faithful Rockruff puppy continued to explore the surroundings. It really was quite a pleasant day now, with the sun shining brightly and leaving a wonderful warm feeling on the skin as one walked by. The birds were singing, the bugs were playing, and the mood was generally jovial and carefree. All of the wild Pokémon were out in full force to bask in the beautiful balmy weather, which was probably a good thing for a trainer such as Ashton, out here to find a battle or two. He'd find one soon enough, too. In the bushes, a little lump of something was eyeing up the model with a dreamy look in its eyes. The pink blob had watched the end of the last match, and it was quite taken by Ashton's actions so far. He clearly look after himself too. Most impressive. Most beautiful. The little orb waddled forward, slowly advancing out of the shrubbery and toward this fascinating specimen. As it approached from the side, however, it managed to step on a loose twig in that most cliché of TV coincidences because I'm lazy and can't be bothered to write something more interesting. Realising that its cover would be blown, the little creature shouted as loud as it could, waving its arms in the air in an attention-grabbing manner. Once it caught Ashton's attention, it'd start flexing its muscles to try and show off. What muscles, you might ask? Good question. Ask Jigglypuff.

Ashton seemed restless to anyone who happened to be watching, his long fingers drumming anxiously against his legs as he scanned the area. He was unwilling to let Iki get hurt again by a surprise attack, and thus needed his attention on actually watching out for danger, meaning pulling out his phone to fiddle with was a no go. That alone caused him a small bit of stress, which in turn meant he really wanted to light a cigarette. Reshiram forbid if he took his eyes off Iki for a minute to rummage through his stuff for his smokes, though, and all in all, it meant Ashton was in quite a mood. One that perhaps was cut through by the arrival of his newest non-human fan, the crack of the stick causing both him and Iki to jump and look round. "Huh? Where did you come from?" the model wondered aloud, eyeing the Jigglypuff with some amusement as it seemed to be covering its blunder by being as noisy as possible. Or maybe it was putting on a show, something he found an intriguing idea. On the other hand, or paw in this case, Iki was unsure of what to make of Jigglypuff as it flailed to get Ashton's attention. His head was tilted to one side so much it was amazing the pup hadn't simply fallen over yet. Seeing this, and noting Jigglypuff's clear eagerness, Ashton found himself smiling through his black mood. "You fancy yourself a fan, I see. Well, I would offer to let you tag along, but as you're not human, I have a different proposition for you," he began, motioning Iki over with a slight gesture. Crossing his arms over his chest, the model made sure to catch Jigglypuff's eye before nodding in his Rockruff's direction. "Tell you what. You can audition to be a companion of mine... by playing with Iki. In a battle, of course." Hearing the word 'play', Iki's tail began wagging in overtime, as if his earlier bout of playing had not ended with him fainting. "Iki, if our friend here agrees to my terms, I want you ready with Tackle, alright? But don't be too rough. Any fan of mine won't be subject to coarse treatment, human or not," Ashton continued. Iki let out a yip to say he understood, splaying his front paws in front of him and striking a playful stance. He could tell Ashton was still upset about the previous battle, and if going easy on this strange pink creature would cheer his human up, he'd obey without hesitation. But the anticipation of play, or at least hoping Jigglypuff would even want to play, couldn't quite restrain his enthusiasm. Iki pranced about in a quick circle, unable to stifle an excited bark as he and Ashton waited for the Jigglypuff's reply. Ashton held back a laugh at Iki's impatience, glad the young pup was taking his earlier loss in stride and not reacting adversely to the idea of another battle so soon. Hearing Ashton's words, Jigglypuff immediately squealed with delight. It was going to get to show its stuff in front of him? The little blob nodded swiftly, accepting the battle without a moment's hesitation. It then puffed up its cheeks proudly, evidently doing its level best to contain its own excitement. Its arms twitched in anticipation as it waited for the "audition" to begin. While Ashton started talking to Iki, the little balloon cleared its throat, ready to sing its heart out and show off all of its skills. Iki stepped forward with that usual boundless enthusiam of his, which seemed to encourage Jigglypuff a little. The Normal type toddled over slowly, a happy look on its face as it thought through what was likely to happen now. This should be a nice match, if nothing else. It was the excitable pup that would make the first move in this encounter. Iki bounded forward, tail wagging rapidly as he crashed into the soft ball of air that was Jigglypuff's body. Jiggly careered backward toward the bushes that it had hidden amongst just a moment ago (god, I am so unoriginal with these spawn posts sometimes...), rolling for a while before eventually managing to halt itself. The lightweight picked itself up, looking moderately angry at its own lack of grace there. It needed to toughen up, and so it would do. With a deep breath out, Jigglypuff flattened its body as much as it could before proceeding to curl itself into a ball shape. Presumably this was it trying to strengthen its defences and not just crying itself to sleep in the foetal position. As if to confirm the former, Jiggly uncurled itself and cried out jollily. The game, as they say, was afoot. Wild Battle

Unlike Nidoran, at least this Pokemon was more readily accepting of a battle, and rather enthusiastically too. Ashton didn't bother to hide his grin this time, glad he wasn't mistaken of Jigglypuff's intentions. Iki, it appeared, was equally happy with his newfound buddy, letting out a short yip of glee. Watching cautiously, Ashton's smile slipped just a little as Iki scampered forwards, hoping his new fan wouldn't be put off by the actual battle itself when the pup collided with it. To his relief, though, Jigglypuff didn't seem like it was about to burst into tears or flee in terror, puffing itself up as it moved back closer to them with a small scowl. "Nice work, both of you," Ashton said, deciding to include Jigglypuff in his praise if it meant possibly winning it over - more so than he'd done already. More so just sugar to sweeten the deal, if anything. Iki watched his erstwhile opponent change the shape of its body in a rather strange way, even his tail pausing in its wagging as he couldn't quite understand what was going on. He'd expected Jigglypuff to return the favour and hit him back, but instead it was doing... that. The Rockruff looked back at his trainer, so confused that it wouldn't be out of place to see question marks floating above his head. Ashton held a hand over his mouth to stifle a laugh at the sight of Iki's rather adorable face. "Don't worry about it, Iki," he said, bemused. Even he didn't quite get what Jigglypuff had been doing, but the follow-up cry made it clear it was some sort of attack, and not just a weird reaction to being hit. Both battlers were still hale and hearty, and Ashton knew it would be a little while longer until he could try for capturing, focusing his gaze on Jigglypuff. "Starting off strong. Just bear with Iki and I a little longer, alright?" Ashton said, hoping things wouldn't sour just as he was finally getting Iki some experience in battle with something that wouldn't unexpectedly turn round and kick him. "Iki, same as last time - Tackle," he continued, pleased when Iki nodded happily in reply. He didn't need to be reminded to not be too rough with his playmate, but he wanted to do well for Ashton too, and set course for Jigglypuff once more with his tail wagging so fast it was a miracle he hadn't simply taken flight yet. Ashton's praise of Jigglypuff (well, that's what it took the first comment as, anyway) thoroughly enthralled the little one. It shrieked out loud, clapping its stumpy arms together a couple of times. It certainly wasn't one to hide its pleasure, anyway. It carried on chirping happily while it considered what it should do next. Well, one would assume that was what it was thinking. Its brain could've easily been occupied by the thrill of its skill being recognised. Either way, it was clearly happy to continue taking a few hits to its face for the time being. Rather lucky, really, as Ashton and his cheerful Rockruff weren't about to let up on the little Fairy type. Iki quickly put in a repeat performance from before, lowering his head as he charged straight for Jigglypuff. The balloon Pokémon, confidence buffed from the earlier 'compliment', did little more than stand firm against the incoming blow. Once more, it inflated its entire body and waited for the inevitable. As Iki slammed into it, Jigglypuff dug its heels into the ground... to little effect. Even with its defensive buff, the spherical 'mon again rolled backward a few feet. Such a lighweight (badum-tish). Though, it collected itself easily, to its credit. And as a perfect form of revenge, Jigglypuff prepared its muscles... and... rolled itself back up into a ball. Further stretching its body out, it seemed as though Jiggly wasn't going to let itself go down easily. Perhaps. Wild Battle

The very enthusiastic reaction to his praise was a bit more than he thought, but Ashton only smiled encouragingly at the wild Pokemon, layering on the charm. If it worked on people, it worked on Pokemon - in theory, anyways. Not like the Nidoran from before had been a fan of his, or a fan of Iki. The Rockruff's response to the loud shriek of delight was to flatten his ears to his head, whining a little from the sheer volume. If it put a damper on his playfulness, it wasn't apparent as he continued on his path towards Jigglypuff, not even hesitating when the pink fairy expanded itself to better take the hit. Shoving into it with everything he had, Iki then watched his erstwhile opponent tumble comically away from him with his tongue lolling out in amusement. It hadn't gone as far as it had last time he'd attacked, but Ashton didn't seem to mind all that much. He was studying Jigglypuff thoughtfully again, one finger on his lips as he thought of his next move. Whatever it was doing was giving it enough bulk to endure Iki's repeated tackling, and while the model doubted it packed any kind of ultra powerful move, he wanted to minimize the risk to his Rockruff. One lost battle could be easily brushed off, but two, and in a row... it would shake the confidence of even eternally-optimistic Iki. "Iki, over here please," Ashton said crisply, beckoning. Iki trotted over obediently with his tongue still lolling, looking up at his trainer with a sweetly confused expression. Smiling reassuringly at the pup, he returned his gaze to the waiting Jigglypuff and spoke a little louder. "I hate to interrupt play time, but I've got a good reason, and I'm sure you'll like it." ( Possibly.) Reaching into his bag, Ashton cursed under his breath as he rooted for a spare ball. When he got back to town, he really needed to buy some more if there was anything else of note on this route worth catching. Pulling free a Great Ball, he held it up in one hand for Jigglypuff to see and gave it a twirl to let it catch the light. "Here's your chance. Don't waste it!" Ashton said with a chuckle before he let the ball fly with a quick flick. Iki padded out in front of him to watch what happened next, having not seen an attempted capture before. Losing his new playmate would be sad, but the thought of finding more with his beloved trainer was enough to keep his spirit strong. ((Word count: 433. Adding to total.)) ▲ ● (Using x1 Great Ball. Having boosted its defenses to considerably high levels Jigglypuff was quite sure Iki's attacks would bounce right off. As high as there were however they did not account for a sudden change in strategy. The pink Pokemon was quite intrigued by the great ball Ashton had shown it. It thought the trainer wanted to play catch and foolishly chose to play along. As the ball flew towards Jigglypuff it stretched its arms out wide trying to line up a good catch. The ball struck its right stubby arm before popping open trapping the foolhardy Pokemon inside. It was not until now that Jigglypuff found out what Ashton had really been planning. The ball rocked from side to side as Jigglypuff tried to break free. It certainly had the determination and energy remaing to try and try it did. Jigglypuff slammed into the sides of the ball hoping the resulting impacts would force the ball loose. Each slam caused massive vibrations however the ball stubbornly remained closed. Time was running out for an escape attempt but Jigglypuff just was not tough enough to break the lock on the ball. After one final desperate attempt the ball clicked shut with Jigglypuff inside. Iki had won the battle making up for his loss in the previous one. It was a wonderful piece of news as was his additional strength he acquired from his victory. Iki fought well and gained 3 levels. He is now level 11. He gains 1 happiness and has a total of 0 happiness. Jigglypuff has been captured! Ashton was never the religious type, but he prayed now, asking Jigglypuff silently to realize the capture meant it would realize its dreams. Iki sat down on his haunches, gaze bright and still curious as he watched the ball rock wildly from side to side before it eventually went motionless. Yipping, the Rockruff leapt forwards and ran over to the capture device, batting it with one paw and smiling goofily up at Ashton as he walked over to pick it up. As he knelt down, the model affectionately rubbed Iki's ears to his utter delight, tail going into hyperdrive mode. "Great work buddy. Let's get this new friend back to town - gotta pick up a few things anyways," Ashton said, rising up with a groan. All this trekking back and forth between the route and town was going to take a toll on his legs, not used to so much activity in one go. But, he argued with himself, supplies were a necessity he could afford to return for. Heading back into town, Ashton stopped in at the Center first before making his way over to the local Poke Mart, glancing around cautiously as he entered. Only one other customer was browsing the aisles, leaving him free to grab what he needed and bring them up the counter, fingers drumming impatiently against his legs as the cashier scanned them one by one. ( Idiot.) All but thrusting the money at him, Ashton pocketed his purchases and left the store before he said or did something rude. Guess business in some backwater place like this was slow enough to make the store clerks lazy, Ashton thought in disdain as he wandered down Route 33 again. Iki had been recalled for the short trip, another canine in his place to receive some training as well. Hyperion's mouth curled slightly, the Houndour not having warmed up at all to Ashton and determined to pretend he wasn't there. Other than the ball binding him to the human, Hyperion would have bolted long ago to find somewhere far from people to live. Or at least find someone who wasn't a complete nitwit. "Look, I know you don't like me," Ashton said, well aware of the hound's disdain for him. "But unless you'd rather spend your life in a box, bear with me while I help you get stronger. I'm new at this, but it's better than nothing, right?" Hyperion snorted in deep amusement, eyes darting elsewhere as he tried to stifle his laughter. True, a trainer would provide more battle opportunity with minimal risk to his health, but this clown? Hearing something approach, Hyperion turned his attention to that instead, spraying the air liberally with sizzling embers. Attack first, ask no questions. ((Word count: 457. Poochyena had been peacefully relaxing to the point that it had almost lulled off to sleep, that peace was short-lived however as a ruckus of sound could be heard emanating from somewhere nearby. Poochyena was not very happy that its state of peace had been disrupted, it was going to find who had been so rude as to disturb it on such a lovely day.
The wild Poochyena emerged from behind a shrub and caught a glimpse of the perpetrator's of the noise, of course it had to be a trainer and his pet dog. Poochyena suddenly begun to feel the heat, the weather however had not changed. Ashton's Hyperion had littered the air with sizzling embers, some of which happened to attach to the wild hyena like pokemons gray mane of fur sending it into a state of panic. Poochyena raised its head towards the skies and begun to Howl, its posture resembled that of a wolf howling at the full moon.
While the wild Poochyena had been attempting to assert its dominance through a battle cry, the fire and dark type pokemon continued to spray embers into the air-space between he and his opponent. Poochyena grimaced in pain as the embers continued to contact with its fur, the hyena like pokemon's facial expression painted a rather vivid picture of its state of health. Enough was enough however as the wild Poochyena wasn't simply going to accept the circumstances it had been dealt with, instead the hyena like pokemon darted towards its adversary, the wild Poochyena proceeded to sink its sharp teeth into Hyperion's flesh, that would serve he and his trainer right for disturbing his peace and destroying his luscious body of fur.

Having given up on his phone, his smokes, and trying to make Hyperion tolerate his presence, Ashton instead had a magazine out instead, leafing through the glossy pages. He'd bought it some time ago before leaving Violet and forgotten about it entirely in the aftermath of his gym battle, only discovering it when he'd gone to check on the egg still nestled safely in his bag. Perhaps as a trainer it would have been better to keep an eye on his Pokemon out of their balls, especially one like Hyperion, but since the Houndour had made his opinion of Ashton quite clear, the model had shrugged and decided the magazine was more interesting instead. Besides, he couldn't force Hyperion to like him - that took time, and trust, little of which had been established with the canine. As he went to turn to the next page, Ashton became aware of two things: Hyperion's crackling embers and the loud howling of his unseen victim. "What the-?" Ashton blurted, dropping the magazine to cover his ears with a magnificent scowl. Hyperion was unrepentant, spewing out yet more embers to the dismay of the Poochyena that had emerged from the bushes and brought with it the lovely stench of burnt fur. Ashton dragged his shirt over his nose with a disgusted cough, eyes burning with a mixture of annoyance and from the overwhelming smell. Leave it to his Houndour to get chummy with the local wildlife by greeting them with second-degree burns. "If you would be so kind," the model said to Hyperion, tone dripping with sarcasm, "Try not to burn down the entire route so carelessly." Hyperion's ears flicked back at this, indignation boiling up - he had perfectly aimed those embers to prevent such a thing like a little forest fire from happening. It rankled him even more to realize that perhaps the human did have a point, and the Houndour grumbled under his breath. Ashton squinted at the Poochyena, removing his shirt from his face to get a better look at it. Besides having some ill luck to be target practice, it seemed perfectly ordinary, nothing he could possibly pawn off on a fan down the line. "Since you seem so fond of it today, Ember," Ashton suggested carefully. While Hyperion was unlikely to disobey, he didn't want the hound to think he was going to boss him around. Hyperion didn't meet his gaze, but his ears twitched, signalling he'd heard the order. Shoving aside all thought, Hyperion uttered a low growl of challenge as he felt flames licking up his throat. Maybe another time he could have interacted more nicely with the Poochyena, but for now, it was all business. ((Word count: 451. Adding to total.)) ▲ ● (Using Ember) ●

Though Poochyena would never admit it, things were not going so good for it. Ember had caused a ton of damage and nearly burned part of Poochyena's coat off. The combination of those two factors left the canine in a sour mood. It had not seen the worst of it though as Hyperion was not going to stop until Poochyena had been defeated. As Ashton expressed zero interest in capturing it Hyperion knew he could afford to show no mercy to Poochyena. It had been great target practice so far so using it for the same purpose again seemed quite fitting. Poochyena was filled with rage as Hyperion readied himself for the finishing blow realizing it was not going to get payback today. The fur on it's back started to stand on end as Hyperion took a deep breath realizing if ember hit this battle would be over. Poochyena tried running in a zigzag pattern to avoid the attack but luck was not on it's side. Hyperion fired a small flame right onto Poochyena's front paws as it tried to swap directions. The canine was already in so much pain it did not have the strength to put out the embers. As Poochyena fell to it's side the impact put the embers out as it lie on the ground out cold. A few Poochyena hiding in a nearby bush darted out to quickly grab their friend before making a break for it. There were too many for Hyperion to fend off but he was pleased enough with his victory. One thing was for sure, Poochyena would avoid picking fight with a Houndour for a long time after this battle. Hyperion fought well and gained 2 levels and +1 happiness. He is now level 16 and has +1 happiness. He is trying to learn Bite but he already knows 4 moves. Would you like him to forget a move so he can learn Bite?

Hyperion was amused, so to speak, at his opponent's attempts to avoid another scorching round of embers. How cute, the Houndour thought, that Poochyena thought it was going to evade him long enough to try and hit him again. Ending the battle was easily done, though he expected no praise from the pompous airbag that was unfortunately his trainer. His fur prickled as a few more Poochyena burst into view, lips peeling back in a soundless snarl at the thought of being rudely ambushed by these spineless dogs. But before either he or Ashton could do more, the canines disappeared with their unconscious friend, Hyperion relaxing his muzzle into a less furious expression even if he didn't completely let down his guard. "Well done," Ashton said, unexpectedly from behind the Houndour. His hand had been hovering over the dog's back, until he recalled Hyperion's aversion to touch, and instead fell back to his bag. Turning to face his trainer, Hyperion snorted dismissively, privately enjoying the small - minuscule really - compliment. Returning the canine to his ball for some rest, Ashton put it away and reached for another, pausing as his fingers brushed over the egg again. Still solid and unlikely to hatch soon, the model surmised disappointingly. He looked up, the route beginning to look familiar from his constant trips back and forth from the city, pondering what to do next. There was no way his team was ready quite yet to tackle the gym, but he didn't want to spend all his time stuck training, either. Or let his Pokemon have free reign of the route and potentially annoy some big, powerful Pokemon living in the area that would come after them in a roaring rampage of revenge. "What I wouldn't give to be in Unova right now," Ashton said to himself, recalling a time when battling Audino had been the best way of leveling up weaker Pokemon. Not that he'd experienced that himself, only hearing about it from the gossip mill that was the fashion world. What model didn't want some ultra strong Pokemon to pose with and sell magazines like hotcakes? He'd never been fond of interacting with Pokemon more threatening than cutesy ones like Emolga or Mincinno, his sister's Froslass aside. And look at him now, almost in the middle of Johto with a team of Pokemon he'd never have dreamed of owning. Grinning to himself, Ashton let his hand rest on the top of his messenger bag, deciding to wait and see if something would come to him this time, rather than scare off half the route with his Pokemon doing as they pleased. Ashton's choice to wait and see what would come to him was a smart one as his Pokemon had caused quite a bit of ruckus when he let them do as they pleased. The calm atmosphere made the Pokemon who were previously afraid to come out to check on things grow enough courage to come out after a few minutes of waiting. The first Pokemon to pop out of it's hole was a yound male Nidoran who had just been hoping to enjoy the day without becoming a feast for one of the other Pokemon on the route. It thought it was being cautious as it slowly approached the area Ashton was in as it did not think the human would mess with such a common Pokemon. It had not accounted for Hyperion however as the Houndour barked and growled as soon as it smelled the small rabbit Pokemon. The frosty air was not anywhere near as bad as fighting a Houndour was. It would take freezing it's butt off any day of the week. Try as it might to find a way out of the bad situation it was in there was not much to hope for. The male Nidoran was in quite a pickle as he began to shake in fear as he realized just how deep his troubles were as he looked Hyperion right in the eyes. Fighting was the last option it wanted to rely on but like the other Pokemon who met Hyperion it seemed like that was going to be the only way out. He did have poison in his horn he could use to try and fend the hellhound off but it meant he would have to get within the mutts biting range and that was a very risky idea. Trying to think of any other option the male Nidoran began praying that Ashton would not sick his hound on him but if her did this day might just be among the worst in Nidoran's life. There was very little hope for it to win a head on confrontation so Nidoran waited for the human to make a move as it found itself in a very bad position to negotiate a peaceful way out. A wild male Nidoran(Level 8) would like to battle. Please select a Pokemon.

It seemed Hyperion's presence had caused a few small ripples in the route's ecosystem, either emboldening some Pokemon or scaring others away, and Ashton would have to wait a little longer before anything had enough courage to come sniffing around. Kneeling to pick up his forgotten magazine, he brushed off the dirt it had accumulate with dainty fingers, grimacing at the dark streak that spanned across the pages. A small misfortune to endure, though he knew he only had himself to blame for its state. Tucking it back in with his things, the model reached for his phone out of instinct, only stopping as he realized he was no longer alone on the route. Amber eyes drifted over to catch sight of the tentative Nidoran, darkening as he recognized the species - the one that had cut Iki's playtime woefully short with an unsuspecting kick attack. While it was highly unlikely this was the same one, Ashton wasn't happy to see it regardless and considered letting Hyperion out to 'play'. Ashton sighed again, something he was used to doing so often these days. No, as much as he wanted the hound to trust him, something at the back of his mind insisted that Hyperion wouldn't be happy to be constantly sent out and returned to his ball rather than resting for the next opportunity to put his skills to use. This time Ashton reached for a ball he hadn't used in a while, sending out his Spearow with a neat flourish. She spread her startlingly glossy wings as she burst free, not landing upon the ground as she chose to flutter just off of it to stretch her muscles. Ashton looked over her feathers, wondering if June had preened herself to lessen the usual disdain he held for her typically scruffy appearance. 'Feels like forever since I last tasted fresh air. What have you been doing?' she intoned in a dry voice as she glanced back at her trainer. The model scratched the tip of his nose, managing a rare sheepish expression and shrugging non-noncommittally. "Never you mind," Ashton replied, guessing at what June had said. "But we've got a battle at hand, if you'd like to focus. A couple of Pecks should do the thing." June chuckled deep in her throat, determined to give Ashton a piece of her mind when the battle concluded. Her keen eyes swept over the unsure Nidoran, the Spearow dipping her head before tilting her wings to speed forwards. Small though she was, her foe almost the same size, June more than made up for it in personality and bravery. Uncaring of the horn protruding from her opponent's head, June was more than eager to fight as she drew in close, hoping this would earn her some decent praise from the lovable idiot she had for a trainer. Any hopes of mercy that the Male Nidoran had were washed away as Ashton sent his Spearow after it. June already had the level advantage over the poor Nidoran and the speed advantage as well however the worst part was that even a lowly move such as Peck could be rather dangerous. The male Nidoran held his horn out directly in front of him hoping June would make a miscalculation so he could poison her but her first attemp at pecking him went off without a hitch scoring a direct hit just below his horn. As she tried to stay focused there was only one real option at his disposal. He used Focus Energy to improve his focus to try and score a critical hit. Most of the time this would be a great idea but as June was faster than he was it was a pretty pointless gesture. The Male Nidoran's boosted focus came to betray him as he looked over at June. He could not take his eyes off of her as she charged at him again. The first peck had already drained a lot of his energy but this second one would surely be the knockout blow. In desperation he tried to plead with her to show mercy offering to do anything she wanted if she defied her trainer but she would not even consider it. A second Peck right beneith the poison types horn was all it took to knock him out and end the battle as June grew a bit stronger from the experience. It was not a huge difference but it still helped. As she celebrated her victory the male Nidoran regained consciousness long enough to make a beeline dash for a number of bushes hoping June would not follow him. After his beating in thks battle round two was out of the question. June fought well and gained 1 level and 1 happiness. She is now level 15 and she now has +2 happiness overall. She is trying to learn Aerial Ace but she already knows 4 moves. Would you like her to forget a move so she can learn Aerial Ace? OOC: Editing in the text now.
