Fortunately for Aphrodite and Raina, the final Water Gun fired at the mutated rabbit-like creature had been more than enough to knock it out of the battle. A deep sigh of relief escaped from Aphrodite’s lips as she watched the annoying and stubborn Nidoran make his escape into a nearby bush. ”You did it, Raina! Great job. This was your first battle and you performed quite well. We are going to have work on your aim a little bit more, but other than that everything else went well.” Aphrodite smiled as she moved closer towards her Pokemon. ”I am relieved that we do not have to worry about that Nidoran anymore. Hopefully, we will not have to deal with anymore poison-types wondering around her.” She stated, gently patting her Popplio on her head a couple of times before removing her dainty hand. ”I think it is time to go back to the Pokemon Center for a little rest before we continue training a bit more. She added, retrieving Raina’s Poke Ball and recalling her back into the orb.

It did not take Aphrodite too long to travel back to the Pokemon Center in Azalea Town. The young beauty trainer and fairy-specialist did not hesitate to hand her Pokemon over to the kind Nurse Joy, so that she could treat her team. Aphrodite stepped out to the side and took a seat onto one of the vacant couches as she wanted for Nurse Joy to inform her that her Pokemon had been completely healed and ready to go continue on their journey. Aphrodite placed her purse off to the side and pulled out a Pokemon Fashion magazine to help her to pass some time. However, before she could even finish reading a full page out of the magazine she would hear someone approaching her. Her warm amber eyes shifted away from the magazine and focused on a rather mysterious, yet intriguing old lady. ”Hello there, my pretty. I do not mean to be a bother, but would you mind if an old lady like myself join you for a little bit? The elder woman asked her with a cunning smile forming against the corners of her wrinkled cheeks. ”Oh no, not at all.” Aphrodite replied with a soft smile as she gathered her belongs and placed them onto lap in order to make room for the stranger. ”Thank you, you are so kind.” The elder lady replied as she sat down next to Aphrodite. ”Darling, I do not mean to come across as odd, but I have been watching you since you have arrived in our town. You are a user of fairy-types, right? You seem to be quite skilled with them and you seem to care for your Pokemon a lot. Well, it just so happens that I found this Pokemon Egg outside of the forest. I have a strange hunch that there is a rare fairy-type Pokemon waiting to hatch from it. Unfortunately, I’m too old to care for this egg. How would you like to have this egg and raise whatever Pokemon is awaiting inside of it? She asked the lovely trainer. Aphrodite blinked her eyes a couple of times as she stared at the mysterious lady then down at the pale Pokemon Egg that she appeared to have been holding. It was a lot for the young beauty to take in at first, but the mention of a rare fairy-type Pokemon hatching from the egg soon made things a little bit more clear for her. ”Uhhh….Sure…I would to care for the egg!” She stated with a warm smile. ”Perfect. Here you go, please take great care of it. Now, I must head back home now.” She stated, passing the Pokemon Egg off to Aphrodite before making her exit. ”T-thank you. I’ll be sure to take great care of it.” She assured the elder lady as she watched her make her exit out of the Pokemon Center.

”So. there’s a fairy-type Pokemon resting inside of this egg?” She asked herself in a soft tone as she stared down at the dull and unattractive Pokemon Egg. ”That is kind of hard to believe, This egg is not is not a cute color and it lacks a certain sparkle that I except most fairy-type eggs to have. Oh, well. I guess there’s only one way to find out what’s really in it and that is to hatch it.” She whispered before standing up and walking over to Nurse Joy’s desk to retrieve her Pokemon.

"This mist is making it almost impossible to see anything. I suppose it doesn't help that I decided to want to explore the route at night time either, huh?" Aphrodite spoke out, glancing down at the Brione walking closely beside her. "I just figured that since we didn't find that Pokemon that I heard that could be found around here during the day, I figured that just maybe it will appear for me during the night." She added as she continued to walk through the thicken mist. Luckily, she had her parasol, so that the mist would not completely damage her hair or her clothes.

Not many would expect a beauty like Aphrodite to be out at this time of day when it wasn't to be in the spotlight at some event in a big city. To be honest not many trainers at all were out in the wilderness in this time of day and definitely not with the mist swirling around and make everything even more spooky. You couldn't see far and there would be easy to be shocked by something that suddenly appeared without warning.

Sounds were easily carried through the quiet forest and Aphrodite thought she heard voices once in a while, there were other sounds as well, although they were harder to identify, it could be pokemon running around, the wind, or something else..
Out of the corner of her eye Aphrodite suddenly saw something very round and light which moved very fast, but when she turned it was gone. What could that have been? There weren't many round pokemon in this area after all.

As she continued a nidoran came stumbling out from the bushes, it looked to be in a bad shape. It didn't really notice Aphrodite and Raina but it definitely heard something behind it and it staggered off as fast as possible and disappeared into the mist.
A moment later a familiar redhead stepped out into the open and looked around, he too didn't notice Aphrodite right away.
"I think we finally chased both of them off, they were good for nothing anyway," Silver said quietly to himself and has he turned to find yet another wild pokemon to train against he noticed Aphrodite and froze.
He narrowed his eyes before they widened in recognition.
"Who are you? And what are you doing out here?" Silver asked as he for some reason didn't want acknowledge that he knew Aphrodite.

"Eeek!" Aphrodite yelled out in surprise as her warm amber eyes noticed the sight of a poison-type Pokemon stumbling from out of a nearby bush. "Why did I decided to come out here to train, again? They're so many poison-type Pokemon out here." She whined, a couple of cool shivers rushing down her spine. She would soon pull herself to together long enough to notice that the Nidoran appeared to be bad shape. "Oh, wait! You don't look too good!" She called out as an attempt to grab the Pokemon's attention. The golden-haired beauty isn't a fan of poison-type Pokemon, but she could not stand to see a Pokemon in such bad shape. Unfortunately, the Nidoran was too frightened and continued to flee the scene. "Hmm. I wonder who or what could ave done such a thing like that to the Nidoran." She spoke out, glancing down at Raina. The water-type starter Pokemon also seem to have been rather worried about the Nidoran's well-being, too.

Aphrodite soon glanced away from the direction of where the frightened Pokemon rushed off into after hearing a familiar face. You've got to be kidding me right now. What are you doing here?" She asked placing her hands against her hips as she stared at the ginger-haired male. "Oh? Are you really acting like you don't remember me? You know what, I would probably have amnesia, too if I was beaten by the same trainer twice." She added with a smirk. Wait! I bet you're the cause of that injured Nidoran, aren't you?" She asked, raising an eye brow. "You're going to pay for that! Raina use Ice Beam on that Zubat!

Silver narrowed his eyes as he glared at Aphrodite, he was not going to drop his act though, not yet anyway.
"I asked you first, but I'm out here doing some training, now answer my question," he said casually and rolled his eyes as her retort.
"I can't keep track on all battles I have, especially not the uninteresting ones, there are way too many," he said loftily and looked smugly at Aphrodite, "I must have made quite an impression in the battle we must have had, from how important it apparently is to you."
The zubat which had followed him out, looked rather tired but Silver didn't look worried as Raina clearly was a water type.
"Don't let it get to you, Wing Attack!" Silver ordered just as Aphrodite ordered the Ice Beam and Silver's eyes widened in shock. Zubat still had plenty of speed even though it was tired and it zipped in close and slapped Raina's cheek before she blasted it with a ice cold beam and it fell down frozen solid inside an ice block.

Silver grimaced and stared furiously at his zubat for several heartbeats before he turned his eyes to Aphrodite.
"And how is this better?!" He asked through gritted teeth as he gestured to his bat, laying on the ground.
"I only challenge opponents who can give a good fight, otherwise it is a waste of time and my pokemon learns nothing! You want me to pay for having chased off a pokemon by seriously injuring mine?! How are you going to defend that?" He spat and would refuse to let out his next pokemon until Aphrodite had answered, and first then he would recall it and let out a giggling ball of gas.

"Funny, because I'm out here to do some training with my Pokemon, too. We've managed to earn our second badge and I figured that it would be best to do a little bit more training before heading off into the direction of the next city. By the way, how many badges have you earned, so far?" She asked, raising an eye brow at him. Aphrodite chuckled and rolled her eyes at Silver's comment about him leaving a lasting impression on her. "oh, please. Don't flatter yourself, too much. How could I ever forget the time that I defeated you in battle by using my Wurmple?" She asked with a playful smirk. As expected, Raina's powerful Ice Beam was more than enough to knock out the Zubat. "Great job, Raina. That's one Pokemon down." She pointed out before asking Raina to rejoin her by her side for a small break. She wanted to train some of her other Pokemon, too.

"Your little guilt trip isn't going to work on me. I've seen you mistreat Pokemon quite a few times. I'm simply trying to teach you a lesson. Besides, we're having a fun and clean battle right now. No one is abusing the other's Pokemon." She stated, shrugging her shoulders then withdrawing a Poke Ball from around her waist. "Titania, it's your turn!" She called out, releasing her Kirlia from her orb. "Titania use Psybeam!" She ordered the Kirlia.

Silver looked at Aphrodite coldly.
"Your pathetic attempts to brag and make yourself feel strong fails, of course I have two badges and Bugsy wasn't any big problem. I hope the next gym leader can give some more challenge or else I see no reason for challenging them at all," he said with a huff and smirked at Aphrodite.
"And just because you probably will claim I'm lying," he said and pulled a little case which he flicked open to reveal he indeed did have the two badges.
"What about yourself? Do you have them or did you think I didn't and hoped I was dumb enough to try claim I had, that I wouldn't notice you lacked them yourself?" He asked smugly.

He chose to ignore her comment about her beating him with a wurmple, he had come far since that and he wasn't going to fall for her attempt of getting him into a position where she could demean him. Compared to her claim of being on the good side and wanting to stop him from doing bad things, she was surprisingly spiteful.

"I'm not guilt tripping you, you just don't know the answer!" Silver spat, "I did nothing else than battle a wild pokemon! How is that wrong?!"
He groaned as she continued.
"And exactly are you trying to teach me? That you know how to mock others? Or perhaps about you know how to use type advantage?" He asked coldly and glared at the kirlia as she appeared.
"Oh no you don't!" he said and the gastly disappeared in a flash while Titania was powering up her attack, a Quilava took the ghost's place and the attack which had been meant for the other.
The Quilava still looked a bit subdued but there was a certain roughness to it and a cold look in its eyes, it would also be needed to stay under a harsh trainer like Silver.
"If you really want to stop abuse then go fetch the police and let them handle it, or try stop Team Rocket before they have taken over the police and everything else," Silver said darkly, it was clear he was not a fan of the criminal group even though he had little respect for the law enforcement.

"Oh, look! You really do have two gym badges. Congrats, I must admit that I'm a little surprised." She stated, a cunning smirk starting to form across her lips as her warm amber eyes stared at his two shiny gym badges for a few second. "Silly, boy. I would never pretend to have something that I don't actually own." She replied, taking a piece of her golden hair and flipping it over her shoulder. She would then reach into her designer purse and pull out her pink badge case. She would carefully open it and reveal her two gym badges to her opponent.

"I'm not even going to waste any more time with going back and forth with you about it. Clearly, you're not even going to attempt to see it my way. You're almost worst than that Rocket Executive that I defeated at the Slowpoke Well." She sighed, shaking her head. Titania, let's finish this! Psybeam, once again!" She commanded her Pokemoon.

"Why? You only think you are the only one capable of beating gym leaders?" Silver sneered, "I'd like to see how you handle something you could prepare for, as your certainly haven't tried anything serious or daring to be at any disadvantage."
He looked unimpressed at her badges and scoffed when she said she didn't pretend to have something she didn't.
"You are great at pretending you have any brain and experience, since I can tell you really lack those," he said with a roll of his eyes.

"Why should I try see it your way when I know you are wrong? And you aren't listening to me either, so we're even," Silver said with a shrug, he didn't care what Aphrodite thought of him and he had seen with his own eyes how the world worked. She would learn it sooner or later or vanish if not.
That she couldn't explain to him what she wanted to teach him, or had any proof of her claims just confirmed his belief.
What did bother him was that he kept loosing to her, which in itself was bad enough. If he kept loosing he could get in serious trouble later on when it really counted, and against someone as naive and childish as Aphrodite, he really shouldn't have had any trouble at all!

"You can do better than that Quilava, burn it!" Silver snapped frustrated and the fire types flames lit up as it screamed its battelcry and covered Titania in embers. She blasted them away with another Psybeam and sent the quilava sliding backwards as it hit him. He glared at her and as his flames grew he sent some much bigger balls of fire at her but it was far from enough to take her down and she retaliated with another beam which threw the fire starter to the ground where he lay motionless.
Silver was expressionless as he recalled Quilava, he knew his pokemon had done what he could but it hadn't been enough and his team would face a lot of training to make up for it after this.

"Don't you ever compare me with those pests!" Silver spat furiously, but then added a bit more calm, "if you have beaten some Team Rocket guys you are at least not a complete waste of space."
He was clearly hesitant about sending out his gastly once more as his attempt to avoid the matchup had failed and there was little else he could do know to avoid loosing.

"Of course I don't think that. I know that there are other trainers that are capable of defeating gym leaders, too. It's just I didn't expect you to be the type to go around collecting gym badges." She admitted, shrugging her shoulders a bit in the process. "If you haven't noticed already I train my Pokemon to be prepared for any advantages and disadvantages that they might have to face in the future. And how would you know what I've done and haven't done yet?" She asked, a cunning smirk curving against her lips as she raise an eye brow at him. "Let's face it. If I didn't have a brain then I wouldn't be able to use type advantages now would I? Are you just jealous that I seem to have more experience and brains than you?" She asked him. her cunning smirk still lingering against her full lips.

Silver's Quilava tried its best to last against Aphrodite's Kirlia. Truth be told, it had managed to put him a good fight, but Titania's powerful psychic-type attack seem to have got the better of it. "Well done, Titania. You can take a break now." She smiled, returning her Kirlia back into her Pokemon. "You Quilava seem to have grown a lot stronger since the last time I've seen it back when it was only a Cyndaquil. Perhaps the next time it will be even more powerful." She stated with a small as she withdrew her next orb.

"Cordelia, come on out and finish this with Psyshock!" She shouted, releasing her Sylveon and giving her the order to attack the Gastly at the same time.

Silver huffed as Aphrodite explained why she hadn't thought he was collected badges.
"The badges means nothing to me, they aren't worth more than the metal they are made of," he said disdainfully, "but some of the leaders are good trainers and I can use them to test my strength against."
"As for what you have done, I can tell simply by what you are saying and what you are doing, you clearly haven't tried anything serious and everything has been like a game for you. You would only care for strong pokemon and not their looks, or spitting out that nonsense about being friends if you knew how the world really worked, but I have already warned you, that you are going to learn that sooner or later," Silver said ominously and rolled his eyes at her talk about knowing about type disadvantages.
"That's no proof of a brain! That is the first any kid learns about in school!" Silver snapped disdainfully, "That is the easy way and you better hope you always have the type advantage since I doubt you will be able to handle anything where you don't have that already!"
He glared furiously at Aphrodite, "The only thing you have most of, is pokemon!" He snapped.

"Of course it is stronger, or else I wouldn't waste time on it anymore," Silver continued as furiously as before and scowled as he saw the next pokemon Aphrodite sent out.
"Gastly! Hypnosis!" Silver ordered but didn't held any hopes of it working, Cordelia looked way too lean and strong for gastly to be any challenge. He was right, although he would never admit it to Aphrodite.
The psyshocks orbs exploded the moment they hit the ghostly gas balloon and sent the gas flying anywhere, leaving a frozen grin to hang midair.
Silver quickly recalled his potential dissolving pokemon with a shocked look on his face but then seemed to remember that gastlys could face through stuff so they had a keen ability to pull themselves together again when needed.

The redhead looked at Aphrodite and with a roll of his eyes turned his back on her and walked away, he wasn't able to admit defeat face to face, and especially not to her!
He would disappear into the wilderness and where he had stood Aphrodite some money which had been left behind, it was impossible to tell if it was on purpose or not.

Cordelia blasted Gastly to pieces and grew +1 level to [lvl 24]
She can't be any happier so she gains no happiness from it.


Salem grew another level to [lvl 12] from the exp-share.


Silver is out of pokemon!

Aphrodite sighed and shrugged her shoulders at Silver's response. She did not agree with the badges just being pieces of unless metal. She figured that precious pieces of metals as badges of honor that allows her to show off her and Pokemon's hard dedication to become the best. However, she did agree with this comment about a few of the gym leaders being great trainers to test out one's strength. "You're wrong, you do not know anything about me. Yes, I do like cute Pokemon, but I also like strong ones, too. I'm a fairy-type specialist. Therefore a lot of my Pokemon will be on the cuter side, but that doesn't mean that they're weak or I do not take being a trainer serious!" She replied with a decent amount of sass ringing through her voice. The ginger-haired male had managed to strike another nerve with her.

Aphrodite felt more determined to continue to defeat herself. However, she finally told herself that it would not be worth her time to argue and disagree with him. So instead, she focused her attention back onto the battle. Amazing Delia, not that I expected anything least from you." She smiled as she watched her beloved Sylveon take out the Gastly. Aphrodite would take out Cordelia's Poke Ball and return her for a nice rest. She would flash Silver a quick smirk before watching him fade away into the cool mist.

"Now that I've taken care of him, I think it's time to go back searching for a new fairy friend." She stated with a smile before walking off into the direction of a small batch of grass.

As Aphrodite reached the grass it crunched under her feet, when had it become this cold? Had that happened during the battle? There was still a fog hanging in the air, but it was hard to see how thick it was due to the darkness, but with the chill in the air it would probably be gone soon.
As for the sought out pokemon it was nowhere in sight at the moment, and no other pokemon either. They had been chased into hiding either by Silver or by the cold, so now they were hiding and probably sleeping until dawn.

"Meda? Where are you?" A voice called, which was a mixture of annoyance and worry and the owner stepped out of the darkness a moment later. The woman narrowed her eyes at Aphrodite and then sighed disappointed when she was confirmed the pretty lady wasn't the pokemon she was looking for,
"Have you seen a meditite somewhere?" The girl called out to Aphrodite as she stepped closer, "we were training in the dojo but she ran off out here and I'm pretty sure she is out making problems," she continued with a huff.
The young woman would wait for Aphrodite's answer before she continued.
"Hmm, I could really use some help trying to find it," She asked and let the question hang unsaid in the air while looking hopefully at the beauty.
"I'm Rea by the way," she threw in casually and with a shy grin.

The sound of something small approaching caught their ears and a little female nidoran came stumbling into sight, she looked happy but moved in a weird way, almost like she was floating and was pushed around like the wind. Her eyes widened and she flailed as she trotted towards a tree, she looked like she tried to avoidit but couldn't and walked straight into it, softly.
The nidoran pushed itself from the tree and continued its weird walk over the grass.

Rea sighed.
"I knew it, Meda is using her psychic powers to hypnotize the pokemon even though I have strictly forbidden it!" She grumpled and then clapped loudly which made the nidoran look surprised at her.
"Hey! Wake up!" Rea called but the nidoran just looked confused and continued to be "blown" on its way.

A girl specializing in fighting could need some help finding her Meditite, who is making a ruckus with its psychic powers and hypnotizing the pokemon in the area to believe they are something else!

Aphrodite and her Pokemon continued to search for a new fairy-type Pokemon to join there team when the golden-haired beauty found herself encountering not a Wild Pokemon, but a worried Battle Girl that is in search of her of her lost Pokemon. Aphrodite flashed the female trainer a soft smile as she shook her head back and forth. I'm sorry. We haven't seen a Meditite around here." She replied, her warm amber eyes taking a quick glance around them. "Don't worry. We will help you find your Pokemon, right Raina?" She spoke with another warm smile touching hte corners of her lips as she glanced down at her Brionne. The adorable water-type Pokemon letting out a cheerful bark in response. "Oh, nice to meet you Rea! My name is Aphrodite and this is my Brionne, Raina." She introduced herself and her Pokemon to other girl.

"Eeek!" Aphrodite shouted, jumping back a bit from the approaching Nidoran. Despite the Nidoran not wishing to harm her, Aphrodite still find herself feeling quite uncomfortable around it. It did not seem to help that the poison-type Pokemon appeared to have been moving and swaying around in weird manner. "I'm sorry. Poison-types freak me out a bit." She admitted, a soft chuckle escaping from her lips as she rubbed the back of her neck. Now that there was a little bit of space between her and the Nidoran, Aphrodite would shift her attention back towards the wild Pokemon as she attempted to figure out what was going on with it.

"So, your Pokemon is responsible for this? Hmm, I see. Well, even though I'm not a fan of poison-type Pokemon I am still going to help this Pokemon out. I believe that a quick battle should help it to recover." She smiled, withdrawing a Poke Ball and tossing it into the air. A male Ralts soon appeared and greeted everyone with a quick bow of his head. "Alvaro use Confusion!" She commanded her Pokemon. Alvaro extended his small arms and sent forth a powerful blast of psychic energy into the direction of the Nidoran.

Rea wasn't surprised to hear that her pokemon hadn't been seen, it was in the middle of the night after all and Meda knew how to stay out of sight if she wanted to. The fighting girl's face lightened up when Aphrodite agreed to her help.
"Great! She often hides in the area around the waterfall, I think she likes the sound of it but it is a bit harder to find the way in the dark of course," Rea said and nodded politely to Raina when she was introduced but otherwise ignored her. The water type didn't interest the fighting specialist the slightest, now it wasn't a poliwrath or similar, just as Aphrodite wasn't interested in other types than fairy.

Rea started and jumped into a fighting pose at Aphrodite's exclamation and looked around to see what had startled the other woman. She looked confused and sent Aphrodite a weird look when she couldn't see anything else than the swaving nidoran, she couldn't really understand why that should bother anyone, other than it acted a bit weird compared to usual.
Aphrodite was nice to give an answer although Rea just looked puzzled by that.
"Why?" She simply asked.

Rea sighed and rolled her shoulders.
"Yeah, Meda is having a hard time focusing on her fighting training and wants to fool around with her psychic powers even though I have done my best to get her to drop it and focus on what we're good at," Rea said tiredly and made a wave with her hand for Aphrodite to go ahead battling the nidoran, it probably would have preffered that anyway.

A confusion to lift a confusion, had it been math it would probably have worked.
As Alvaro stepped forward a bit of Nidoran's instinct kicked in and it spit several poisonous needles at him, which hurt! Before the ralts could retaliate and let his psychic waves hammer against the poison type's messed up head. It stumbled and screamed furiously at him, before spitting more needles at Alvaro and this time the poison found its way to his veins.
Alvaro somehow managed to concentrate enough to send another confusion at the poison type.
"Do-ni! Do-ni!" the nidoran cried out weakly as it lay down in the grass, mimicking the hoppip's species name, Rea face-palmed.
