Ethan grinned as Miranda's Seviper finally went down, in Felime's hand. Well, this battle was tougher than he had thought. Thankfully though, she had some sense in her to acknowledged that she lost the battle fair and square. Otherwise, he was prepared to throw hands or something. Although, he thought the woman was a little dramatic for crying after being confronted about stealing a kid's Horsea, lost to a battle, and made up excuses would it wouldn't be a good use for her anyways.
Felime and Ethan both ran to catch the Pokeball containing Horsea as she left and casually tossed it. When one of them caught it, the other went to pick up the money too. He smirked at all the cheap and dumb threats this woman was making, as if she was still in grade school and had a fight with another five years old.
Thanking Felime's help, he returned the normal type. Then, holding onto the Horsea's Pokeball, he made his way back to where the young boy was. He checked to see if the kid was still crying, and bent down his knees to the same eye level before turning the Horsea.
"Here's your Horsea..." He paused to remember his name. "Tim. Maybe ask your parents if you can train up your Pokemon and maybe catch some Pokemon, so you're not wiped out next time?" While he wanted to be cheerful and optimistic, he worried about the kid's future.

The small youngster sat on the bench staring at his hands as he twiddled his thumbs together. He bit his lower lip and narrowed his eyes in deep concentration. He was worried about Ethan and worried about his Pokemon. What if they didn’t make it back? What if Ethan wasn’t strong enough to confront those bullies and reclaim his Pokemon for him? Tim’s eyes welled up with tears in their corners as the thought of losing his Horsea forever weighed heavily on his mind. He just couldn’t bare the thought of losing his precious Pokemon! Two other people stood beside Tim – a uniformed police officer and a tall lady with curly brown hair. “Tim…Tim! You’ve got to tell this nice officer everything that’s happened…remember?”“Uh…oh…oh, wait!” He jumped up and clapped his hands excitedly as Ethan approached them and knelt down beside him at the bench. The Officer placed his hand on his belt, reaching preemptively for his stick as he turned to Ethan apprehensively. But, Tim spoke up before matters could escalate anywhere. “Officer, wait! This is…uh…He never told me his name. But he promised to find my Pokemon for me!” When Ethan handed over the red-and-white Pokeball containing Youngster Tim’s Horsea, he hugged his Pokemon’s Pokeball excitedly. “And he did! You beat them up good and got my Horsea back?” He asked him excitedly. “Please, oh please, help me train Horsea! Also…take these! My mom owns a sweet shop nearby and makes a bunch of them. Maybe your Pokemon would love them!” Youngster Tim giggled, handing Ethan some Heart Sweets. The Officer relaxed and pulled out his notepad instead. He looked at Ethan as he flipped the book open and pulled a pen out of his shirt pocket. “Hey, thank you for helping this young man. His older sister had asked me to help…” He gestured to the tall, curly haired lady that stood by the bench. “Anyways, I’m trying to investigate this matter thoroughly. Thievery is not tolerated on our streets. Would you mind telling me everything you know about these bullies, so the police force can go find them and have a stern talking to them, sir?” If Ethan obliged the officer, then the cop would jot down everything Ethan would tell him about Miranda and her gang of thugs before excusing himself to run off and try to find them. Youngster Tim is so happy to have Horsea back! He gives you x4 Heart Sweets in exchange for Horsea's safe return.

Ethan told the officer as much as he could about the long haired woman with a Seviper, who kidnapped the Horsea. Then, he included other things like her group of followers who likely knew about her and her behaviors, and also the alleyway in the city where they would have hang out usually. That took a while, but he was sure he helped with the officer.
Then, he turned toward Timmy, and told him about battle basics like type advantages and having more than one Pokemon to take care of would decrease the chance of this happening again. He sent out all of his Pokemon to show Timmy their typings, their moves, and how things like their abilities. He also added that, maybe Timmy could ask his mom if he could go train and battle wild Pokemon to gain some experiences. After all, Pokemon got better at using their abilities when they get stronger. He then made his way toward the Pokemon Center to heal up his Pokemon first.
