Red let out a long moaning sigh, puffing a slither of smoke from her snout to emphasize her resumed boredom with this match. The noise made Noh's ears twitch with annoyance. Eyes narrowing and a low hum ebbing in her throat made the pain of her hand slip into the background. The pink puffball partially turned to glare at the charmeleon from the corner of her eye; mouth all scrunched up. "Now now you two, let's not forget who's causing all the trouble," the dancer chimed, waving a finger in the air and looking between her two pokémon. Really Lenore could end this all quickly by just sending Red in to deal with the steel type, but she needed to turn their frustrations into something more useful without ruining her training plans. Red was already strong enough. Lenore could trust Red with anything at this point. What she needed was more strong pokémon on her team, and the only way to do that would be to give experience to the others. "Just a bit more patience girl, we'll be wrapping this up soon enough. Right Noh?"In reply the jigglypuff went silent. Her gaze turned back to the bronzor and her visage shifted completely. Instead of anger there was a strong reluctant twinge to the fairy's features. Lenore couldn't see it. Noh didn't want Lenore to see it. Still... how many more times was she going to have to slam her fist into that steel plate? "Noh?"The balloon pokémon closed her eyes and tensed before finally sounding a groan. "Oh dear," the trainer mumbled, resting her head in a hand slightly tilted to the side. Noh didn't mean to let out such an ugly sound, but now that it had been done she might as well own it. The fairy took a deep breath and crossed her arms defiantly. "Just one more Noh. One more. That's it! I promise. One more pound on that big ugly disk." The dancer's plead was something Noh wanted to try and ignore but... oh... just one more? Noh sighed and nodded, passing the showgirl a look that said this would be the last punch. No matter how sweetly she asked, if she did so again, this was the last one.

The Jiggypluff's (hopefully final) attack landed perfectly well, dealing critical damage with a much larger hit to the steel-typed Pokemon. The Jigglypuff's attacks would eventually and hopefully be able to defeat the Bronzor if need be without the help of another one of the trainer's Pokemon. But the Bronzor's health was still not even under half way. How much more pain from attacking the pokemon could the Jigglypuff take for her trainer? Meanwhile, the Bronzor was having trouble of it's own. The multiple uses of Flash by the trainer's Jigglypuff had left the Bronzor's vision much lower than it had been before, and left the Bronzor consistently incapable of landing a hit on the balloon-like Pokemon. Another attempt from the Bronzor to land a Hypnosis attack would miss just as its moves had previously. How much longer would this battle go on, before either side would win? The pained grunt of the steel pokémon brought a cheer from the showgirl. Hands raised and clapping, the cave made the sounds echo like a grand audience praising the superb effort put forth by the jigglypuff. It almost offset the roaring complaint from her fist the resulted in another smack against the bronzor. Tears welled in her eyes as she waved her stubby little arm in the air. The feel of cooler air whisking by the burning pain made it feel a little better, but she couldn't keep swinging her arm forever. Noh turned around to face Lenore with a scrunched face of mixed annoyance and hopefulness. The dancer slowed her clapping to smile down at her pink puffball. "That was expertly done Noh. You can give that hand a rest now." The balloon pokémon raised her eyes to the darkened ceiling as if silently thanking Arceus before she swished her head and strut off of the battle field. Red perked, looking up to Lenore with a questioning look. "No, not your turn sorry dear." Lenore giggled, spotting the eager eevee stand from her haunches as if expecting it was her turn now. "Not yours either sweetie."Both Red and Aria looked at their trainer with quizzical looks. If not them then who? The pair looked to the abra quietly hovering behind and looked to be asleep at this point. "No no, not her either. I wouldn't have given Zatanna the EXP Share if I wanted to send her into battle. Besides, she's kinda useless in a fight with no attack moves." It was blunt but true. One day the abra might turn out to be useful, but so far Lenore hadn't even considered bothering with the psychic type due to that fact. Lenore reached to grab one of the last occupied balls still resting comfortably in the lining of her coat. Red mumbled, rolling her eyes like someone criticizing the parenting of someone else. Lenore smirked. "C'mon out Tide!" The ball flashed open and out sprout the derpy psyduck Lenore had received as a gift from her parents at the start of her journey. As per her usual, Tide's first action upon setting foot outside of her little nest was to dampen the area with a sprinkle of water. The showgirl had made sure to step back to keep out of the radius, but Red was not so quick; having expected the petilil to be brought out like against the zubat earlier. The charmeleon hissed angrily as the light spray splashed across her, a bellow of smoke rising into the cavern. Aria quite liked it in contrast. Tide didn't even seem to notice the effect of her habit on her companions. Red huffed loudly, stomping a few steps back in annoyance and giving Bronzor the evil eye as if it was its fault she had gotten wet. Lenore laughed, "Well it's about to get a lot wetter," she informed, turning her attention back to the battle at hand. "It's time to play Tide! Let's give that bronzor a good splash with your Surf!"

After the Jigglypuff landed yet another Pound attack onto the Steel-type Pokemon, the trainer then called Noh back into its Pokeball. Almost as soon as the Psyduck that replaced the Jigglypuff was sent out, the Bronzor landed it's first attack, tackling the Water-type with its very hard, steel body. This time, the attack had managed to hit its opponent, even with the lowered accuracy from the Flash attacks it had been hit with earlier from the Jigglypuff. The Bronzor then prepared to land another attack upon Tide before it could land its own attack, tackling it again once more. It wasn't a significant amount of damage, but if the Bronzor could continue to deal damage like that without missing, it could potentially win the battle with the Psyduck. The Surf attack seemed to come out of nowhere, though, as the Bronzor was hit with a wave of water. The Bronzor suffered a great deal of damage from the attack, but still managed to hang in the fight. It would not be defeated by the Psyduck so easily. Lenore put a hand to her face as she watched the young duckling not even attempt to waddle or sway out of the way of any of the wobbly attacks thrown at her. You'd think being half blind would give the slow quacker a leg up on dodging something, but she managed to, if anything, stumble herself more into the offset tackle attacks thrust upon her by the bronzor. It was almost comical really. It was getting a snicker from Red at the very least. Eventually though, Tide was able to get over the blunt force trauma imposed by the wild pokémon and stand herself back up. With her hands also thrust in the air she finally set about doing her own attack. A rush of water formed up on the ground and built into a massive wave that crashed into the floating steel disk. It was quite a change from the slow and steady whittle of Noh's pounds; of which the diva couldn't help but notice. "That's it sweety! You just keep that up, look how much Bronzor likes it?" she teased. The psyduck was oblivious to the poke at the steel pokémon though, merely continuing her excitement at being, not just allowed, but encouraged to splash water all over the place. Just so long as she didn't send it Lenore's way.

The Bronzor was beyond any known level of desperation as its health seemed to be in free fall after the first Surf attack. Nothing it tried seemed to help matters at all and being nearly blind only made the situation unbearable for the steel type as it got ready to face another round. Though Lenore encouraged her Psyduck that Bronzor enjoyed being attacked the steel type felt the opposite way in reality as it ached to move even a few inches. The duck Pokemon had such a massive advantage over it by now that Bronzor was just about ready to give up and beg for mercy when suddenly the duck summoned up another huge wave inside the cave. The duck Pokemon jumped on top of the wave and rode it right into Bronzor who was sent flying into a cave wall from the recoil of the impact. Out of pure spite and desperation the Bronzor fired off another Psywave praying for a miracle hit but instead it nailed a stalactite hanging from the ceiling which fell right onto its face after if broke off of the ceiling from the attack. Things kept going from bad to worse for the steel type as no end to its bad luck seemed close. If it had not been for the embarrassment it had faced from this most recent attack the steel type would have unquestionably given up by now as virtually all hope of winning now was gone but it was going to try one final time to make a point while trying to avoid any further embarrassment from Psyduck or Lenore or be knocked out trying to at least. With the alternative being unmerciful mocking from its friends and family it had no real choice either but it hoped the trainer would at least make the knockout blow quick so it would not have to suffer much longer. After the slow drawl of Noh's pounds barely denting the tough defense of the steel pokémon Tide's water spurts, weak as they were from the young duckling, probably caused quite the sting in comparison. Lenore grinned at the idea of catching the steel pokémon off guard with something it wasn't even weak to. She giggled, putting fingers to her lips to quiet the sound a bit. The charmeleon at her heels had picked up her mood a bit as the end of the battle finally drew near. They hadn't encountered that many pokémon since their time entering this dank place yet it had felt like they had been here an age. And with very little for the fire type to do with the dancer sending out all these other, weaker, pokémon it was more or less boring. "Such a splash! I think it wants another one Tide. Really give it your all this time and send that bronzor riding the waves all the way down the tunnel," she continued to encourage. The psyduck clapped her hands together, though had to take a moment to collect herself. Surf was something she had been born with, but it was a power level beyond what she was actually trained to do. Lenore hadn't really put any effort or time into training stamina thus far, only caring about their general performance based on natural talents. Luckily Tide's talent seemed to be making things wet. Lenore was pretty pleased with how this whole thing had gone. Bronzor was rather formidable considering her overall team. Initially she had been worried she'd have to send Red in to mitigate the damage as she tried to spread the experience around her current assembled team. But thanks to Noh's efforts things had gone rather smoothly. With her order given to Tide the dancer turned her attention down to the souring jigglypuff beside. Kneeling, Lenore moved a hand to gently rub Noh's soft fur. "None of this would have been possible without you. You are going to get so much pampering after this! My lil' shining star." Noh let out a puff and stuck her nose to the air with a sense of triumph. Lenore chuckled lightly, brushing her hand on her coat to get some of the dust off that had collected on Noh during the fight.

Bronzor knew for a fact that it was in a lot of trouble even before Tide was given the order to attack again as its health was in pitiful shape. Being drenched and naturally slow along with nearly blind had virtually eliminated any hope of a comeback and the threat of being smacked around by another wave only added to its troubles as Bronzor struggled to even pick a move to try in desperation. As Tide started to summon up another wave Bronzor was intelligent to know virtually all of its hopes were gone even if it could come up with an attack after being hit assuming this next attack did not knock it out. As Noh received her due credit for putting the Bronzor in the awful position it found itself in the steel type braced for another impact from the oncoming surf attack that it had no hope of dodging especially in such a cramped area. Bronzor closed its eyes as Tide leaped on top of the wave and rode it towards the steel type until the two Pokemon collided sending Bronzor into a large boulder knocking it out cold as it slowly began recovering from its harsh defeat. A few nearby Aron stood by ready to cart if off if she did not want to try and capture it but because she was a new trainer they waited to see if she wanted to do so first. Even though Lenore had yet to make her decision to capture the Bronzor her Pokemon did gain a few levels and happiness after the tough battle and the battle had attracted a number of Pokemon to the area to investigate why a tidal wave suddenly ripped through the cave. If she stuck around she would surely encounter another Pokemon in no time at all. Battle Weather: Normal Wild Bronzor | Level 15 HP: 0% (0/46 HP)Status: KO'ed KO'ed! The cave erupted with applause. Tide threw her hands up in the air happily, spinning on the spot with her feet happily slapping against the little puddles she'd made. If it were any other of her pokémon Lenore might've congratulated them with a hug or some other sort of physical contact. But Tide? She'd rather not end up drenched and ruin her clothes. "Well done sweety, you did perfectly. Just look at that." The woman sighed in relief, raising her eyes to the unconscious bronzor. She had only just begun to ponder when a bright light loomed behind her. Squinting, Lenore put a hand to shield her eyes and pivoted to glance what was happening. She smiled. Perfect. She figured Zatanna was well due for her evolution. Despite her incapability to really do anything in battles she just held an air of experience about her. "My my, just look at you now huh?" she began once the tall form of a kadabra was now standing by her. Lenore whistled as she looked the psychic pokémon up and down. "Now what'd yah think? Can you fight on your own?"The question brought a bit of a negative air to the party. Zatanna grunted and frowned, the momentary joy of gaining a new form washed away by her remaining inadequacy for what Lenore wanted. A silence followed for a time, so when the dancer broke it with a sigh of disappointment it was very clear. "Well, I'll have to get back to you later then Zatanna. We'll get you sorted soon enough." From the side Red quietly snickered, the noise covered by the crackle of her tail flame. Lenore recalled the kadabra and removed the exp share from her person. "The info will at least be useful to the professor so it wasn't a total waste," she went on to explain while she worked on sorting out her party arrangement. With Zatanna evolved she had another she wanted to do the same. One a bit more useful for the coming gym if she remembered Violet's correctly. She was probably being overly prepared considering Red and Noh already being pretty beastly. If she wasn't careful she could start running into trouble with them listening to her. Already it seemed she was on the cusp of losing control of them, but taking some extended effort was managing so far. "Alright..." she mumbled mostly to herself once it was all finished. "Just one more thing here..." she continued, walking over to the fainted bronzor. Each step sent a loud click echoing down the tunnels of the cave fro her heels. Considering the level of noise her party made it would be near impossible for them to sneak up on anything. Though, that was fine with her. She only wanted brave strong pokémon to bother showing their face to her. And this guy... Lenore grabbed an empty pokéball and captured the defenseless steel type. "And now we can continue," she chimed as the device registered and then disappeared to her PC. "Gotta get some of you other sweetums more experience before we go face the fearsome birdman." She chuckled to herself. "Noh, time for that pampering babe." Lenore moved over to sweep the jigglypuff into her arms. "Star like you deserves a break from walking on this rocky floor." The fairy inwardly beamed with giddiness, but only outwardly showed a content look while the trainer brushed along her short fur with a hand. Lenore recalled Tide as well before they moved too far, remembering the duck had a knack for being a bit of a nuisance when it came to long walks. Though... the water puddles she'd undoubtedly leave everywhere could be good breadcrumbs... No. That was unlikely with how she tended to go, just, everywhere. "Onward gals."Red stayed a step or two behind, eyeing the shadows dully, while Aria bounded just beside with a spring in her step. She was excited after that last battle to get a taste for herself.
(( There's no solid/set rule for wild pkmn moves just as long as they're legit -- it's just prefered doing the most recent 4 since it's easy. (Apologies on the wait, Lam; had intended to clear off the three posts that are overdue tonight but my letting agent has just decided to screw me over so... spent the past I-don't-even-know-how-long working out how to not be homeless next year. :/)Lenore's next quarry would be just around the corner. Not literally, mind. She would hear a frantic screeching from the distance. A familiar sound to any seasoned cave-goer in the Pokemon world. And yes, indeed, the scourge of the cave world came into view seconds later. A Zubat emerged from the shadows, its wings beating ten to the dozen as it made a beeline for Lenore. It wasn't clear at all why it was headed this way, but the little Poison type was most certainly not about to stop. It saw the human in front of it (as much as Zubat ever "see" things, anyway) and barely so much as acknowledged her, continuing to steam forward. It seemed that it'd be up to Lenore to stop this critter.

They all heard it coming. It was hard not to. The group stopped and waited, looking up into the creeping darkness of the eerie cave trying to spot it. The wing beats got closer and closer, until finally the frantically flying shape emerged into their little bubble of the world. "Another zubat huh," she commented to herself, sighing afterward. All this walking was starting to make her feet hurt. It wasn't what she was after but it was still something to train off of. "Alright, let's see..." she muttered. Lenore gave another pet to the jigglypuff in her arms when Red gave a gruff call. "What is--"Before she could finish she saw it. That ball of brown floof bounding its way toward the awaiting bat. Her heart skipped a beat with worry. The eevee was already making a leap for the fluttering bat by the time she noticed. Zubat let out another terrible screech that bounced off the walls, quickly pulling up to a stop and narrowly missing Aria's tackling approach. "Oh boy." The dancer slipped a hand to grab their newest party goer in this cave and get them out here. With a flash the little sheep crackled into the Dark Cave, drawing a bit of attention to herself. "This is your debut sweetie! See that bat? Give it a good ole shock for me kay?" Fritzie chirped happily then began charging up energy. While she did that Lenore started to circle around closer to Aria. The eevee had her nose to the ground and butt in the air as she prepared for another go at the wild pokémon. "Aria hunny, it's time for you to come back now okay? You did a wonderful job stopping that zubat but let Fritzie take it from here okay?"The trainer's voice caught the young eevee's attention, ears perking before she relaxed from her pouncing stance. She looked back toward the bat first, obviously still wanting to try a battle for herself, but the praise from Lenore was good enough for now. She could wait a little longer. The eevee pranced back to Lenore's side where the trainer bent down to give her a pet; to Noh's disapproval of course. The jigglypuff hmphed loudly but it bothered Aria none. And after that it was Red's turn. "Good job with the warning Red," she stated simply, passing the charmeleon an approving grin. Red's tail swished back and forth while returning the look.

After the incoming steam train of a Zubat pulled to a screeching halt to avoid getting hit by the small Eevee's tackling motion, the Zubat let out another screeching noise as it zoomed on forward towards the new target - a Mareep, fresh to the whole battling with a trainer game against other Pokemon. It bit into the electric sheep Pokemon's fluffy wool that covered seemingly everywhere besides the Pokemon's head, legs, and tail. The Bite attack managed to deal a good deal of damage, but the electric type's static electricity affected the Zubat as it rushed through the bat Pokemon's body. The Zubat flew back, and then let out another screeching noise as it flipped around, going right back in Fritzie's direction before it could even land it's own first attack. It bit into the Mareep's fluff just as it had before, dealing some more damage. The Zubat flew back, but before it could get away, the Mareep dealt a large electric shock attack to the flying Pokemon. It let out a cry as it fell onto the ground of the cave. It managed to get back into the air after laying there for just a few short moments. It wouldn't take much more for the Mareep to finish off the Zubat in its first wild Pokemon battle. "Oh, well, look at that girls," Lenore started, chuckling a bit to herself as she watched the struggle. For a moment there it looked like it had been a one hit KO. Too bad. "It's back up for another one!" she cried. The dancer's voice rang off the cavern walls and bounced down the joining corridors. She laughed again, "Go ahead Fritzie, another Thundershock."The mareep bleated quietly but her excitement was betrayed by the static sparks that trickled down her fluffy body just after. It was her first real battle and so far it was going splendidly. It gave her a rush. Even with the multitude of bites from the bat Fritzie still felt invigorated by the experience. Her tail swished back and forth as she readied for another go at her trainer's command. Of who had gone a bit quiet. Lenore's feet really were starting to hurt. All this walking. Specifically all the walking on the rugged terrain of the dark cave. Even with Noh lighting the immediate area she'd still met a few dead ends and big blockades that made her travel not the least efficient. While her faithful sheep took care of the annoying bat the showgirl decided to start glancing around for any good place to seat herself for a bit.

The zubat hadn't counted on another jolt of thunder hitting it. It got hit hard and flew back into a cave wall, one o its wings broken. It was greatly injured, and let out one last cry before collapsing to the Ground, defeated. A flock of zubats saw their ally go down, and fled. They did not want to deal with that at all. Maybe they'd be encountered later, but or now the zubats were staying as far from the person as possible. The Mareep had officially won it's first pokemon battle, and gained some exp from it as well. Lenore let out a big sigh, "Finally that's over." Aria chirped excitedly, big fluffy tail swishing in the air as she scanned the area for another potential to try her hand against. But her trainer wasn't exactly on the same page. "That was a lovely job Fritzie, though, next time I want you to make an effort to get the job done in one go alright?" the dancer looked down to her poofy sheep expectantly. The mareep considered it for a moment, unsure if Lenore was mad at her or not, but responded with an affirmative bleat and crackle of her static wool. "Good. Now come back for a bit of rest." She recalled the sheep so she had fewer pokémon to deal with at the moment. Aria was really the only concern for potentially running off. "Come on girls, I need to get my feet off the ground for a little bit."As Lenore clicked off toward a nice little outcropping of rock that would suit her needs as a bench Aria trailed behind a little disappointed. She stood, looking back at where all the zubat had fluttered off to. Red watched with interest, rooted to the spot to see what the young eevee would do. The charmeleon wouldn't do anything to stop her of course. In the end though the kit didn't want to get lost in the darkness beyond what light their diva was casting. Red was a little disappointed, but walked with Aria over toward Lenore. The showgirl had pulled a blanket from her duffel and laid it down to cushion her against the solid rock. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough. She signaled for her jigglypuff to approach then scooped her up into her lap. "Time to give you a well deserved brushing my dear." Noh giggled quietly as she was stroked. "This cave is just not my style ladies," the woman spoke after a loud sigh. "So dank, dark, and gloomy." Red chuckled, taking a seat herself and looking about the seemingly endless black that surrounded them. It really did feel like they were in some kind of bubble. Aria sat on her haunches staring up at Lenore with an obviously eagerness to keep exploring. It didn't go unnoticed. Lenore smirked at the eevee as she continued combing the short fur of her pink puffball. "Oh I'm sure something will come to us in no time Aria, just you wait hun. Maybe you could make some noise to draw them in?"The suggestion perked the pokémon's interest. Immediately she stood and looked around. Big ears flicking around to try and pick up on anything that may be sneaking around. Sounds were around, but she had no way to tell what was simply their environment or a lurker. So, she just began barking at shadows in the distant darkness while moving back and forth like a pup ready to play. With a short laugh Lenore paused from her promised grooming to grab a disk from her bag. "Guess I should be more prepared then..." she mumbled, also digging into her jacket for a pokéball. As she held both the ball and TM in hand she hesitated for a moment. It had been something on her mind for a while now, and she figured it would do a lot of good to upgrade Tide some. Her hesitation stemmed mostly from the worry that she would do with mud as she currently does with water. A shiver crawled down her spine. "Nope, just... just do it girl c'mon."
