The IPF Recovery Auction is a go! Time to open up your wallets and take advantage of some unreal bargains. All proceeds from this auction will go to the department and will aid us in keeping the streets of Johto safe and sound.

A commercial appears on all of the TVs and other electronic devices including Pokedex. A woman in a dress police uniform with a table behind her which has a few items on it. There are bright lights behind her and slightly dimmer lights in front of her. Her large smile is from ear to ear with hands up high.
"Come one come all, the IPF is having has reopen its auction block! Step right up to see what we have to bid on! We at the IPF like to give back to the community by offering a few things to buy. Don't worry, 70% of the proceeds will go to the local Pokemon shelters. She steps behind the table and shows off the items. We have two fluffy tails which can be useful to get away from those pesky unwanted wild battles.

The playful items aren't the only things we have. Here are also a couple of shuca berries one of our officers found on a walk a while back. It is great against ground types so might be wise to save it against a possible gym leader or hiker trainer.
x2
And last but not least a useful TM called Safeguard. This handy item will teach most pokemon the move Safeguard. The move itself protects you from status effects like poison, burn, sleep, and paralysis for five turns. This will be useful regardless who you are fighting.

"All you have to do is submit your price online (down below) to show your interest for this fabulous prize package. The starting bid is $900!"
Here is the legal stuff which has to be said to make our lawyers and sponsors happy."
In a moment the screen is filled with the legal stuff and explanation of how it all works.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Police Recovery Auction
Every so often the IPF hosts an auction that is open to the public. The paraphernalia rotating through these auctions are either items that were never reclaimed by their respective owners after being confiscated, or are unneeded old stock from the IPF itself. It can include a wide variety of things including and not limited to berries, protective gear, one-time use items, TMs, and on the rare occasion a pokémon from the JSPPA (Johto Society for the Prevention of Pokémon Abuse). Each auction starts on the 3rd week of the month, and runs for as long as a month. After any bid is made a timer of 1 week starts. If no higher bid is received within this time limit, or before the next scheduled auction, then the Lot Item goes to that bidder. *If you are a recognized Police Officer your Ranking Bonus would apply when payment was being taken for winning the bid. Your bid is considered full price when actively bidding against others, which means you must have the full bid amount on-hand when bidding. To bid you simply reply here with your amount. As long as you do not double post you are free to post as many times as you want on any single item; it is an auction after all. The minimum amount that you must beat the last bid by is £150.

I'll go with smallest raise of 150 to $1050. I'm still hoping for more bids before end of week.

You'll need a bit more than that for the highest bid. Silverwing is currently top bid with $1300! Wow.
Anyone with a $1450?

Fine, I'll go $1450. I originally intended on going $150 above Silverwing. I'm still hoping for more interest in this revival of the IPF auction.

Silverwing has reclaimed the top bid at $1,750!
If there are no further bids the auction will close tomorrow. So don't wait too long if you're still wanting that shiny TM.
