The crash from Skitty colliding into the bins at the end of the alleyway was more than enough to convince Marchbaby that Vör had won the battle. As bad as they both still felt about winning the lopsided battle Vör did look a bit stronger as her Lucky Egg continued to be quite useful. " Boy that battle gave me the chills, I hope that Skitty ends up OK but gosh Vör you are getting strong. I am very eager to see how you will fare in the next gym but that is still not quite something we can try yet. We can still try and encounter a few more Pokemon before we move on."
Vör took a deep breath as she tried to avoid thinking about how much damage Skitty might have suffered from her attack while also staying focused on the task at hand. If she could keep this pace up she would be ready to face her first gym soon and she was hoping they would be less of a pushover so she would not have to feel awful again about such an easy victory. " I know I am getting stronger with every battle but easy victories like this do feel a bit cowardly, is there any chance we could go somewhere that the Pokemon are a bit stronger?" She asked as Marchbaby seriously considered moving on.
" I want to try our luck at finding the other rare Pokemon we are missing one more time, if our luck does not pan out we can try our luck in the Dark Cave. The Pokemon there are a bit stronger, and many are steel types so that will help with your training. To boot it is where I captured Bonecrusher so he might enjoy the trip home." Happy with her masters plan Vör agreed to one more encounter before they would move on. She started to read the aura around her when she picked up another life form. All she could tell was that it was something alive and that it was just down the next alley.
" It should be right down here, If it is not what we are looking for I will still battle it but I am looking forward to exploring the Dark Cave. It sounds like a neat place to train once we are done here." She said as they waited to see what would pop out of the alley next.

Scavenging through the bins in the alley had become part of Stunky's daily routine ever since it had arrived at Cherrygrove. It was fascinated by the variety of things that could be found each day. Humans were stupid to waste such valuable scraps. Stunky was somewhat cute but not everyone was willing to give it a chance. The dual-type was loved by fans of dark- or poison-types but many upperclass citizens disliked its scruffy appearance and treated it like some sort of pest. Unfortunately, today had been a tough day for Stunky as it struggled to find any worthwhile food. It had searched for hours but had no luck finding anything. On top of that, it had been chased by a restaurant owner who had caught it loitering around the bins. Then, to make matters worse, Vör had fired Skitty at it, narrowly missing it. The Pokémon remained still for a moment, immobilised from the shock. It seemed as if thing couldn't any more bleak until the rain poured down, drenching its fur. That was the last straw for Stunky. It needed to take out its rage on someone so Vör wasn't going to get away this. Nobody wanted to mess with this Stunky on an empty stomach.

Though Marchbaby was glad to see the sandstorm finally leave the rain that replaced it was not that much more enjoyable. What was enjoyable however was the appearance of the angry Stunky that came from the same pile Skitty had been knocked into. Marchbaby had acquired a Stunky in a trade a long time ago and knew how territorial they could be making this an interesting Pokemon to encounter. It was not quite as rare as a Skitty or Diglett but being a Pokemon only known to appear in the area during a swarm made up for it. He could not pass up the chance to capture a second one so he would have a breeding pair.
" Why hello there my dear, I am sorry about that Skitty disturbing you, Vör is pretty strong and had no other choice than to teach that poor kitten a lesson about picking fights. I know you must be pretty angry but I have a friend you might like to meet if you were to come with me." He said with a Quick Ball in his hand and Vör being ready to fight if all else failed. If his plan to attract the skunk Pokemon worked Vör could get a bit stronger while avoiding this last encounter before they moved on which would make things even better for the two of them. As Marchbaby made his plan to capture Stunky known Vör was quite relieved and hoped his plan would work
" This Quick Ball is an uncommon ball which is quite fitting for such a unique Pokemon as yourself and I can help you get stronger as well if you join me." Before he tossed the ball Vör had a few words of her own for the young skunk. " My master truly is quite kind, dragon tamers may be a bight rough but once you get to know them they are very kind at heart. He may still be an apprentice but he is quite skilled for someone of his age. You will not regret it if you join us." As Vör stepped up just in case the ball failed Marchbaby took aim at Stunky hoping his last Quick Ball would not fail him. Even as the rain left him drenched he maintained a strong grip on the ball only letting go when he was absolutely sure it would hit its mark and then hoped his luck would pan out.

Normally, when approached by unfamiliar people or Pokémon, Stunky would spray its toxic, and very smelly gas at them. However, in this one's current state of hunger, it has decided to hear this pair out. The wild skunk Pokémon looked up at the trainer and Pokémon from it's place in the ally way, listening to every word the pair had to say. As they spoke to the wild Poison type, it began to slowly relax itself. Stunky didn't really understand the stuff about the Quick Ball, but it had to admit, everything else didn't sound too bad to the wild Pokémon in the least. So, when Marchbaby threw his Quick Ball at Stunky, the skunk Pokémon decided not to resist. The orb made contact with it's face, and Stunky got sucked inside. The ball proceeded to shake back and forth for several seconds, until it finally came to a stop, and let out a small "DING" noise.

Capturing the Stunky on the first try was great news for Marchbaby and Vör as the young Lucario managed to gain a level from the ordeal and they picked up a new friend for his other Stunky. Just as Marchbaby started to celebrate a foul stench headed his way as he covered his nose. " Oh gosh that is an awful smell, it is a good thing we captured that Stunky before it could use that stench in battle against us. I do think she will make great friends with Trey once they meet. I really do need to get around to training him one of these days but for now we still need to train you Vör." He said as he zipped up his backpack ready to head to the next area. As promised he was going to go to the Dark Cave next but wanted to make sure Vör was ready as the cave could be quite dangerous if she was not ready. " When we get to the Dark Cave be ready to fight in rather poorly lit conditions as no light at all exists in the cave beyond the light any Pokemon with Flash can produce. Since Shocker has evolved it can output more light than a Magnemite but even then it is not enough to light most of the area so your aura sight will be very useful." As he finished speaking Vör responded wanting to assure him she was ready but still understood how dangerous their journey was going to be. " I fully understand, I can see why a lot of trainers do not go there but I am ready. My powers may not be fully developed but they are powerful enough to at least keep track of any Pokemon living in the cave. I just hope we get there soon so my training can continue." Marchbaby trusted her and could sense just how eager she was to train there and he could hardly wait as well since he had missed out on capturing a number of Pokemon the last time he went and he had heard a number of Pokemon had started to appear there since the last time he had explored the cave. " We will be there very soon so do not worry, you should get quite a bit of experience fighting the Pokemon there." After his reassuring words the two headed towards the Dark Cave to continue Vör's training. OOC: Keeping Vör's current moves.
