First Journey [F]

The day has finally arrived for Silver now, as she has now in the Johto region in New Bark Town.Silver got here not to long ago and met with professor Elm ,as he let her spend the night at his house as Valerie phoned ahead for a favor for Silver. Soon she was introduced to the starters as she decide on a lovely Charmander,who she nicknamed Enya. The professor also had a very unique pikachu who was called the gardener pikachu as it was dressed in a very cute gardener outfit as Silver takes her too nicknaming her Tivona.

The next day with all her stuff with her and her Pokemon at her sides she thanks professor Elm for all his done for her as she heads out standing by the entrance to route 29 as she turns to her Pokemon smiling."Alright then,today marks the day of our journey now,it might be hard and we may face challenges ahead ,but it be so worth all the fun we will have what ye say??!!" Enya smiles big at this liking that thought as shes raises her little hands up as high as they could as she jumps up for joy."Char!char!" Tivona was a bit quieter then Silver and Enya as she just raises one of her little hands a bit just to go along with them."Pika..".Silver smiles at them knowing we just met but has a feeling we all get along just well then.

With all her stuff ready now as the three of them starts to head out now. as Tivona decides to hop right onto Silver head for now as Enya walks on silver left side smiling along as she walks. As they head off now into route 29 readying for anything to come their way now.They walks into route 29 as Silver looks around them seeing a lot of tall grass knowing Pokemon are possibly in them , as while Silver walks the soothe bells on her sleeves chimes slightly as she moves putting the three in a relaxed mood for now.

The eve of the year was fast approaching. Setting out in the early morn of the day following her first ever pokémon Silver would find the air crisp but overall pleasant for the light dress. Leaves littered the route, from which their trees of origin stood glittering with the melting frost that had lightly built up overnight. Overall it was rather quiet too thus leaving the trio a picturesque stroll through the wilds between New bark and Cherrygrove. But it wouldn't stay that way.

Bells chiming, the wilds surrounding them would progressively become busier. Rustles of bushes and shaking of branches followed the new trainer. Whether it was multiple pokémon or just a very agile one was hard to tell as every time she or her two new partners would go to look it would stop. Not that the young girl wasn't used to such treatment when walking about with her sleeves attached, and not that it wasn't what she was hoping for. To travel from the first and second towns along the traditional Johto journey and not do battle with something wouldn't exactly set a good start for her travels.

She wouldn't have to wait too much longer. During the most recent time of the trio looking behind them for a stalker the prying eyes would make themselves known. A branch snapped beside Silver. The loud crack followed by a heavy thump and a tug on her left sleeve. Now at her feet was a large furry brown pokémon. Long ears, rotund shape, and a striped tail. It appeared the scout pokémon had snuck along a branch and was trying to reach out for those alluring bells when its weight made the branch beneath it snap. Now it was caught out in the open. With a squeak the normal type hopped backward and then propped itself up on its tail with its pudgy fists outstretched. It was trying to make itself look as big as possible to appear intimidating, but it was also in Silver's way.

The trio was enjoying the walk, taking in all the sounds around then the slightly noises they here in bushes hear them as Silver kept walking her bells chiming away, but not long after she felt the tug and notices the Pokemon try and taking the bell on her sleeve as Enya jumps a bit not noticing the Pokemon before and yells out at it being on guard now to protect its trainer."Char!!" But the Pokemon got back from the trio and was looking for a fight now.

Silver blinks at the Pokemon."Ah! that's bad you shouldn't steal things from others,guess these bells would attract Pokemon to them. Still this is our first battle who wants to go?" Silver looks down to Enya and up at Tivona who was on her head anymore but had got spooked and jumped down and was now hiding behind Silver's legs scared."P-pika...chu.." she was shaking her head not wanting to get in a fight like this."Its ok Tivona,don't worry you get to fight the next time. Ok Enya your up them!"Enya nods and got in front of Silver looking at the wild Sentret before them looking ready for a fight now."Char!! Charmander!!" Enya looks at the Pokemon ready to give it her all.

"Alright then, lets beat it! Seen it doesn't look that tough use scratch then Enya!!"she nods hearing her trainer command as Enya charges at the Sentret with her right claw ready to strike the Pokemon and to do some damage and to win her first Pokemon battle now.

Silver's scolding went mainly unnoticed as simple human noises while the scout pokémon recovered its wits after the fall. It was mainly focused on preparing for battle, whirring through all the moves it knew in its head and what it should use first. The scout pokémon pumped its fists in the air in an attempt to appear tougher. Though it knew it was already fairly strong compared to some other wild pokémon around here, combating a trainer was always another story. And Enya wasn't going to make it easy for it. Especially after the attempted thievery.

The charmander sprinted forward, tiny pokers outstretched as far as they'd go from her paw. They glistened in the orange flickers of her tail fire as she ran forward. Her speed was incredible and unexpected of the sentret, leaving the normal type panicking in its relative inexperience. The wild pokémon dropped down from its tail with the hopes of having a better time of dodging but it was far too slow. Enya overshadowed Sentret within seconds and brought her claws down in a rake across the short fur of the raccoon's chest.

Sentret reeled back, a paw to its new wound as if that would help the pain. The wild pokémon's thoughts were a blur, the poor thing trying to decide the best course of action and still seem intimidating to hopefully deter the charmander from any other swift attacks. In its fluster it decided the least effective of them all. Glaring down with an intense focus on Enya a shine pulsed out from the normal type. The air felt different afterward. Somehow more... tangible. But nothing seemed to have changed otherwise.

Silver smiles a bit glad her first battle is going good so far. But she won't relax yet now as its still not over yet for them. Looks at the Sentret use foresight now wondering whats its planning to possible to."Don't worry Enya! don't let it freak you out! you do fine!" Silver reassures her Pokemon so it doesn't let the Sentret make Enya lose her nerve and confidence.

Tivona watches this from peeking out from behind Silver legs seeing how strong and confident Enya is as her eyes shine a bit with awe of this as she steps out a bit and starts cheering for Enya now."p-pika...chu!! pika!! pikachuu!!" Tivona yells out as loud as she could as Enya glances back hearing this and as she has a smile on her face glad to have a good friend cheering her on as shes even more pumped now then before.

"Alright great hit Enya now go and use growl on it and breaks its intimidation!" Enya hears her trainers command as the fire on her tailed burns bright with her strong will to win this battle Enya takes a deep breath in and lets out a loud wave of her growl to bring down the Sentret defense a bit for her to land much more damage then before.

It's ineffective first move had seemed to momentarily put its opponents on edge, but the trainer saw through it well enough allowing both of her pokémon to rally. It wasn't looking too good for the wild pokémon but that hadn't ever stopped it before. However, the bolstering of Enya's confidence would further work against it. With Tivona's encouragement and the call for the next maneuver the charmander let out a truly intimidating growl of which Sentret couldn't hope to match. It sent a shiver down its spine and made it completely reconsider its outlook on the fight; though not as Silver had hoped.

Sentret curled its tail around and bunkered down into a far more defensive position. A light sheen flashed across its short fur like the polishing of a wall. If the charmander was indeed such a formidable foe the normal type would have to work more defensively from here on in instead of its more forward aggressive manner. Yes, that was probably its best approach. Though it was hard to say since it still hadn't even done any actual attacks of its own on the fiery lizard.

Silver sees the Sentret use defense curl now seeing that Enya growl did drop its attack but its defense went up."Its ok Enya don't worry about it, it still hasn't attacked you so your fine their." I tries to reassure Enya as she looked a bit dishearten by the wild Pokemon straighten its defense as her only attack was scratch as she couldn't do anything else to help win this fight faster,but she shrugs it off for now knowing she cant worry on it too much.

Tivona keeps cheering on Enya from beside Silver not wanting Enya to be defeat so quickly now in her first battle now."Pika!! pi!!" Silver looks and smiles at Tivona seeing her cheering for her ally and friend.

"Alright then Enya this might take long but we won't quit,show that Sentret who's boss with another scratch!!" Silver call out to Enya who nods and charges at the Sentret again raising a claw now, not going to let its strong defense bring Enya confidence down."Chaaarrr!!" Enya yells out as she gives it her all.

Uncurling itself from its defensive boosting posture the sentret would find their strong position dampened. It pouted for a second before shifting that frown into something more fit for a formidable foe; as it had learned against other strong pokémon in the wild. But it still wasn't quiet enough. That trainer was still pumping the fiery lizard full of confidence.

Enya brandished her claws for a moment before charging forward again. Sentret puffed up its cheeks and tried to think of what to do. The wild pokémon wasn't too experienced in battle yet. It was much easier to think when watching someone else fight than in the heat of it all like now. Its mind swam with all kinds of things and in the end it fell back on something it had already used and did at least momentarily give it a reprieve. Another strange look and twinkle in its eye locked onto the charmander but it had no effect at all.

Squeaking in dismay, a shiver sparking down its spine and causing its fur to stand on end, the sentret was swallowed by Enya's shadow and soon more than that. The claws came down in another rake of pain across the chest. Sentret squealed and shuffled back away, holding back tears as it did its best to keep its game face on. It started this. It could finish it. It just needed a moment to think is all.

Silver smiles a bit seeing Enya scratch attack hit the Sentret again now."Alright good work Enya this is long but keep it up alright we can do it."I smiles at Enya now giving her confidence as Enya jumps back after her attack seeing it make contact with the wild Pokemon.

"Char charmander!!" Enya is pleased so far that shes doing good in her first battle even if, she knows really one attack move shes not letting it get her down and hopes after this she grow more stronger now."Alright Enya scratch attack again!!"I yell out to Enya to do more damage to the wild Sentret now seen as its getting a bit tried now and thinks with a few more hits it be knocked out now.

Enya nods and gets her claw ready now and starts to charge at Sentret with another scratch.

[Venominon]

The wild Sentret was down, but it was still not out. The scout Pokémon kept its eyes locked on it's fiery foe and her trainer, doing it's best to stay alert while it tries to come up with a better battle plan for the next round. Sadly, Sentret got just a little too lost in thought for a moment, leaving itself unprepared when Enya came in for yet another Scratch attack. The Normal type Pokémon let out another squeak of pain, as Enya's claws dug into it's fur and skin for the third time since the battle began. However, Sentret simply refused to go down, partly due to it's increased defensive power. Even so, the scout Pokémon was really feeling Enya's attacks, as a small tear escaped one of it's eyes.

That was the last straw. Sentret was tired of being pushed around, and was finally ready to strike back against it's opponent. Having seen Enya do it multiple times now, and getting hit by it the same number of times, Sentret raised it's own claws, and ran straight for Enya. Once Sentret finally reached the Fire type Pokémon, it gave Enya a Scratch attack of it's own, dragging it's claws across Enya's scales. Sentret then took a look at it's handy work, and was surprised at first, but then very happy to have finally dealt some damage. "Sen! Sentret!" The scout Pokémon cheered, feeling very pleased with itself. However, it was still far too early to celebrate, and let it's guard down.

Silver gaps a bit seeing the wild Pokemon fight back and uses a scratch attack on Enya"Oh no! Enya are you ok??" She slowly gets up from the attack and nods her head to show her trainer that she is fine and barely took any damage form that one attack now.

Silver breaths a sigh of relief now glad her Pokemon didn't get too hurt now as even Tivona is glad shes ok.As so far in this battle the wild Sentret has being on the defense and had now sudden switched to offence after getting tried of been attacked again and again. As Silver sees that the Sentret seems to be caught up in its own little victory on its successful attack that its left an open as Silver makes a quick decision as she reaches it to her bag quickly now and takes out a poke ball.

"Alright now his battle going to end.Your mine now!!"Silver mental prays she will hit the Pokemon as she takes a deep breath as she throws her hand back now with the poke ball in and then flings it forward throwing the ball to the wild Pokemon as her bells jiggle slightly from the movement."Poke ball go!!"

[Venominon]

The scout Pokémon was so distracted with it's little victory dance, that it was blissfully unaware of what was about to happen to it. The wild Sentret only noticed when Silver's Poke Ball hit the Normal type right in the back of it's head, which did well to make it gasp with shock. Sentret quickly turned back to Silver and Enya, but it had no time to react beyond that. The small orb opened up, and before Sentret could process what was happening, the scout Pokémon was sucked inside. The Poke Ball closed up tightly after that, then fell to the ground, and started shaking, as the light on the front flickered on and off. Sentret put up a good fight from the inside, but seconds later, the light stopped flickering, and a "ding" sound came from the ball.

Silver blinks seeing this all happen before her as it took her a few seconds for it to hit her as she jumps up with joy."Yes!! i catch my first!!! wwwwooohhhhooo!!" Silver is very happy at this as her bells chim as she moves. Enya sees this and feels stronger after this as she grins and cheers"charmander!!! char!!"she goes over picking up the poke ball now and goes back to silver with it. Silver finishes her happy cheering and picks up Enya with the poke ball hugging her a bit."Great job Enya you did great,we have a new friend now."Enya smiles happy as she looks up and breaths some embers out her mouth too as silver gasps seeing this.

"Oh my! you learned ember too Enya that's great!!" Tivona smiles at this happy for Enya first win and for silver to get her first capture a success as Enya jumps down to Tivona smiling."char charmander" Tivona nods happy for Enya."pika pikachu".

Silver smiles as her two Pokemon and looks down at the poke ball in her hand really happy things are going off great so far.

With her first battle won, and her first capture a success, all seemed to be right as rain for Silver and her Pokémon friends. However, ironically, it had started to rain over route 29 shortly after Faron's capture. It wasn't too bad, but it just kept coming down over the route, making many wild Pokémon run for cover. There were plenty of places along the route for Silver and her team to find their own cover, and from one such place, and sudden cry was heard. "Wurmple! Wurmple! Wurmple!" The sound of a Pokémon in trouble came from under a nearby tree, not too far away from Silver's current location. Along with these cries for help, came the sounds of some other Pokémon from the same area. "Spear! Spearow! Spear!"

From the sounds of the second Pokémon calls, there was more then one of the second Pokémon under that tree. Upon closer inspection, there were. The sight before Silver was a pair of wild Spearow, gaining up on a lone Wurmple. It seemed that all of these Pokémon had chosen that spot under the tree as their cover from the rain, and the Spearow duo had no plans to share with the worm Pokémon. The two bird Pokémon pecked and scratched their talons at the small Bug type, trying to bully it out of their claimed territory. The Wurmple wanted to leave, but it also didn't want to get caught in the rain, given its small size and all. So Wurmple did the only thing it could do. It curled itself up in a ball, and took all the Spearow's punishment with fear in its eyes, even though they were shut tightly, wishing that someone would come to its aid soon.

Silver happy time with her new Pokemon was cut short due to the rain but also seeing the poor little wurmple being attacked by two spearows. Silver gasp seeing such behavior."Oh my god that's terrible,Tiovona,Enya i need both of ye to help me rescue that wurmple!"they both nods Enya looking ready to fight even in the rain,Tivona a bit nervous but promises to give it their all.

the three gets closer to the Pokemon now."Hey! you spearows pick on someone your own size!!"Silver yells out at the two to get their attention and draw it away from the wurmple as Enya and Tivona stands infront of Silver ready to fight."Char!! charmander!" Enya growls at them angry for picking on a weaker Pokemon."Pika!! pikachu!!" Tivona was nervous for her first Pokemon battle but knows she cant turns a blind eye to a Pokemon in need.

"Don't you worry wurmple help is here to hang in there!!" silver calls out to the wurmple to give it some faith that's its going to be ok.
"alright then Enya go use ember and Tivona use thunder shock,but be careful not to hit the little wurmple too alright!" they both nods as Enya takes a deep breath and fries her ember as Tivona focus and shots out her thunder shock as both attacks aim for the pair of spearows now.
