 Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea hid a yawn as she followed Aglaia out of the bus outside the National Park. She was excited about going for sure, but she was also very tired just then. She could probably have used at least another hour in bed that morning. She waved to Aglaia as the cousin took off into the park first. She was happy the older girl seemed more relaxed about the whole thing now, and she smiled fondly, before another yawn pressed on. With a deep sigh she looked around for a route into the grass not overflown with other trainers. She didn't want to get in the way of others, and with all these people the bugs was likely fleeing from the crowded area. Not even thinking about it she picked a random direction and let out Zian at the same time. "Come along, Sisi, let's find some room to move in." She said, and intended to sound light-hearted but struggled with a third yawn. The Bellsprout stumbled along a little behind her, and when Dorthea found she had trouble keeping up with the pace, she slowed down, and made more effort to follow the Bellsprout's speed instead. Off by a tree it came, a slight buzz. Soon a decently tall bee looking pokémon well groomed and seemingly just spruced up emerged from behind the thick trunk and immediately locked eyes with Dorthea.

Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea and Zian moved carefully, and soon got into a more quiet area of the park. Dorthea still suffered from tiredness, and wasn't as aware as normal. It so happened that Zian was the first to notice the Volbeat approaching, and while Dorthea only looked at it incomprehensible, Zian managed to push forward and waved her leaves in hello. "Oh, right," Dorthea spoke. "Try a Sleep Powder, Sisi. We aren't supposed to hurt the bugs too much."Wordcount: 77 |

Sport Balls Left: 15 1/5 Encounters Volbeat: Asleep (1/3) Zian [Chlorophyll]: Normal Volbeat wasted no time in setting out. It could feel all the energy floating around and knew how quick trainers tended to be. Without any hesitation it lunged forward, wings abuzz, and landed a harsh quick attack before Zian was able to whirl up the spores. She was taken a bit aback, though, now in with the bug in close range after its attack the sprout couldn't miss. Zian dropped a cloud of spores around Volbeat and watched as its eyes got heavy and it plopped to the ground with a light snore.

Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea found a park ball to be ready, if Zian was lucky with her powder. Though the Volbeat didn't mean much to her personally, she just didn't want to think too much about it right now, and might as well just throw a ball. She couldn't remember if the Volbeat good potential in the contest, but it was something. "Alright, Sisi. Well done. Now for a ball." she warned her Bellsprout before throwing the ball in a small curve. Wordcount: 79 |

A sports ball was thrown and hit Volbeat right in his striped tummy. Still sleepy, he couldn’t find the strength to get up. The ball wiggled a couple times and then dinged, confirmed the capture.

Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea was actually a little surprised that the first ball had been enough. She had rarely been that lucky. None-the-less she picked up the ball and pocketed it for now. "That went well, Sisi. Let's see what more will show today." Dorthea spoke cheerfully, more to hide her own tiredness than anything else. Zian obliged without question and followed along as Dorthea their trip through the grass. Wordcount: 67

The other grass type would be immume to Zian's powder attack, and Dorthea didn't think it looked that strong again "This one might take a while, so prepare yourself before attacking, Sisi. Sport Balls Left: 14 2/5 Encounters Paras: Normal Zian [Chlorophyll]: Normal As the sprout beefed itself up in the gentle sun Paras shuddered its shrooms and sent forth a bit of poison powder. Little did it know it would be completely ineffective against the grass type, giving Zian an easy time of following up with wrap as instructed. With its spores harmless the paras turned to biting into Zian's vines and trying to suck a little nutrients out.

Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea was almost relieved, when the Paras started out with a small powder cloud, her lackluster knowledge of Pokemon had at least served her enough not to waste time using something that wouldn't work. However, wrapping something looked a slow process, and Dorhtea just wanted this encounter to be over with. She wasn't at her best when tired. "We'll just have to keep wrapping, Sisi." She told the Bellsprout, who then tried to squish its victim a little harder. Wordcount: 79

Zian, lvl 15, Moves: Vine Whip, Growth, Wrap, Sleep Powder Dorthea hid another yawn not to discourage Zian in her battle. She did feel a bit like she was wasting her time on the Paras, and was thinking her cousin long since had met something way more exciting. "Let's see if it won't give in to another Wrap, Sisi." Dorthea said, careful to sound at least a bit enthusiastic. Zian repsonded well to Dorthea's voice and squished for all she was worth. She might be clumsy, but to her the slow way was the natural way. Eventually, the prey had to give out, and the small bites didn't bother her too much. Wordcount: 102

She was getting worried, she wouldn't meet anything else in the park today, and she would like to see just a little bit more. "Better get it over with, Sisi.
