As Blitz won yet another battle Tyler was annoyed by how hard it was to find a breeding pair but as Blitz was still getting experience and his young Riolu was also gaining a bit of strength Tyler was at least making some progress but just when he thought things were not going to get any stranger the egg he had found started to glow and seconds later a blue metallic Pokemon hatched from the egg. Tyler was beyond stunned by now as finding a Riolu egg was rare enough but a Beldum egg was a far rarer find. Words could not describe how happy he was as he stared at the young robotic Pokemon.

" A Beldum and Riolu in one day? Fate is really smiling upon me now. Both will be very useful to help climb the Team Rocket leadership ladder. I highly doubt most grunts or recruits have either of those Pokemon given how rare they are." The young Riolu approached the newly hatched Beldum as Tyler was in too much of a state of glee to notice. The canine placed it's front paws just above the Beldum's eyes as it felt a rush of energy coming from the metallic Pokemon.

" This Pokemon is very special. I can feel an astonishing amount of energy coming from within it. I wonder why it is so strong within?" Tyler then saw the Riolu standing next to the Beldum and it's question was one Tyler did not mind answering. " That wold be because Beldum is the first evolutionary form of the psudolegendary Pokemon Metagross. They are very rare and powerful like a lot of dragon types. Most dragon types do not like to face them as they can shatter a meteorite with a single punch. As a Beldum it is not that strong yet but it can still cause quite a bit of damage with it's Take Down attack."

As he finished his lengthy explanation he saw Blitz searching a nearby patch of grass as it thought it had heard something rustling within it. Tyler again wanted to be cautious as he did not want to knock it out until he knew what it was. " Blitz use Sonicboom on whatever it is. I do not want to knock it out yet just in case luck is on our side again." He said as the magnet Pokemon started to twist it's magnet's. Like before it was going to unleash it's Sonicboom without mercy as soon as something jumped out.

As Blitz unleashed it's attack the light blue fur of a Shinx caught Tyler's eye. As it was the only blue Pokemon in the area Tyler knew it was the one he was after. " Oh good I have been looking for another of your kind. Scar could use a mate and you will be perfect for him." As Tyler signaled for Blitz to hold fire the young Riolu was confused by the gesture and stepped forward in front of the magnet much to Tyler's dismay. It was too late to stop the young Riolu and all he could do was hope it did not make a terrible mistake.

" Oh this is not good. I was signaling Blitz to hold fire not for you to step forward. Too late to undo your mistake now all we can do is hope we can make up for it now. I might still be able to make this work in our favor with any luck." Tyler said as he grabbed a Great Ball from his backpack. Though the Riolu had made a really big mistake Blitz had caused enough damage that capturing the Shinx should be easy if the young Riolu could endure a single attack.

" Oh that is a big mistake to make, I am not very strong right now but I will try my best to endure whatever this feline throws at me. I feel so dumb right now." He said as he watched the feline hoping to be in a good enough stance to stay standing for a single round so Tyler could try and capture the wild feline. " I suppose it is better to learn from this mistake sooner rather than later but please be more careful from now on. Once you are stronger you will get a chance to test your strength but right now observing is the best option."

As they waited to see if the young Riolu was tougher than either Tyler or itself thought Tyler took aim at the feline and got ready to toss his Great Ball as soon as he was able to do so. This Shinx was not about to escape his grasp if he could help it even after such a big mistake threw off his plan. " It is times like this I wish I had a few Rare Candies, if you were a few levels higher I would be a bit more optimistic of your chances to endure an attack." He said nervously wishing there was some way to undo the mistake.

Despite you ng Riolu's big mistake it had paid attention to enough battles that it was just able to.endure the incoming Thundershock. Tyler was quite releived as the Great Ball he tossed then managed to capture the Shinx brining an end to the battle. The young Riolu even gained a few levels from his mistake which proved to be a blessing in disguise in the end. " Luck seems to be on our side today. You did good enduring that Thundershock though you still have a very long way to go. It also appears that you learned a new move from.that battle. Feint may just come in handy for the time being until you get stronger. "

Now that Tyler had captured the breeding pair of Shinx he was after and the young Riolu had gained a few levels he had to decide where to head next. He was drastically low on Great Balls so he decided to leave the ruins and head to the local Pokemart to pick up a few Great Balls before making a decision. " Well there goes most of my money, I sure hope whatever I catch with these is worth the cost. " He said as he purchased the Great Balls and then stepped outside.

Outside of the Pokemart there was an advertisement for the Galar Festival and one part of the ad mentioned trading for Galar Form Pokemon. A picture of a Kantonian Meowth and a Galarian Meowth side by side intrigued him as he had not captured either kind of Meowth yet. " If my memory serves correctly we can encounter the Kantonian Meowth in Cherrygrove. The Pokemon there might also help out young Riolu friend grow stronger as well. He might still need some help from you Blitz. " He said as he believed he had figured out where to go next.

Given all the time that had passed since defeating the policeman who tried to stop his egg delivery Tyler was sure they would have given up looking for him at least for now. The show of force he put out would still probably paint a target on his back later but he decided it was worth the risk. " I sure hope we don't run into any of those pests while we are there so we will.try and make it quick. I don't want the army to show up looking for us or my brother for that matter. " He said as they made their way to the streets of Cherrygrove to look for the next target Pokemon.
