Wild Encounter Weather: rain [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Spearow LV 5 HP 55% [11/20] [attr="class","qkt-wild-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Charmander LV 7 HP 70% [17/24] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] Spearow: [spd 13] Normal , used Leer, used Peck! Charmander [Blaze]: [spd 16] -1def, switched in, used Scratch! The wurmple did what it could to keep back its tears but it was hard when it had just met its savior, it managed to rub them away and listen as Shinya explained his deal. It listened curiously but had no idea what Team Skull was or what their cause would mean. It looked excited when Shinya talked about being a bug type specialist and even more when he told he was going to be a leader and on top of that wanted it to join! That was something else than the children running around with their nets and pulling you down from the branches while claiming they were now your trainer, and only because the bugs like wurmple was too slow to get out of the way like rattata and pidgey. Wurmple was certain it had found its fortune and a trainer that could help it grow out of the shadow of all other types of pokemon and be revered by everyone around it. Wurmple was quite surprised to see that Shinya had a charmander and a bit of doubt entered its mind, since if Shinya was a bug type trainer why did he have a fire type? Wurmple greeted Heracross warmly when he came over to greet it and it looked bashful when he dried some missing tears off its chin. "Wur-wurmple?" Wurmple asked Heracross why Shinya had a fire type, it could just as well get to the bottom of this right away. "Speeea!" The spearow complained when Heracross was called back and exchanged with a all too familiar looking orange lizard. The last switch hadn't bothered it as it had still been food but it wasn't keen on trying to eat a charmander, he didn't look as tasty and smelled burned. It narrowed its eyes when it noticed how uncomfortable Charmander looked and noticed how the flame on his tail sizzled in the rain, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad after all. It leered at its opponent to find the softest spots and then dived straight at him, and directly into Charmander's claws which it had forgotten about. Usually Charmander's it had seen around here relied on their flames. It pecked Charmander hard in the head to get free and leaped into the air to get to a safe distance. It circled its opponent as it looked for an opening.

While Shinya remained focused on the battle at hand, Heracross stood behind his trainer at a safe distance, with the currently wild Wurmple at his side. Heracross knew that his chances of defeating this wild Spearow in a battle were rather slim, but the single horn Pokémon still wished to at least stay by Wurmple's side, and make sure that the worm Pokémon stayed safe until the battle between Charmander and Spearow had come to an end. It was also around this time that Heracross began to ponder Shinya's ambitions, having some doubts about them, as well as how well he'd play into them. It was true that Heracross was Shinya's first Bug type Pokémon, but after trading away his Charmander, Shinya would be left with a low leveled Heracross and Wurmple, and a likely newly hatched Pokémon, obtained through said trade. The Bug/Fighting type Pokémon didn't wish to upset his trainer, but he had to admit to himself at least, that this image he had in his head about Shinya's soon to be team didn't look very promising, especially given everything that Shinya had just gotten through saying to Wurmple. Maybe it was just Heracross' lack of experience talking, but he hoped that Shinya had some sort of plan in the works that his Pokémon weren't aware of at the very least.
It wasn't until Wurmple questioned him that Heracross finally snapped out of his thoughts, and once again turned to face the smaller Bug type Pokémon. "Heracro. Hera. Heracro." The single horn Pokémon answered Wurmple's question, explaining that Charmander was not a permanent member of the team, and that Shinya had plans to trade the Fire type Pokémon away to someone for a new Bug type Pokémon. Heracross still wasn't sure which Bug type Pokémon, or to who Shinya would be trading Charmander away though, so he was unable to tell Wurmple any more then that. "Hera. Hera. Heracro." Heracross also warned Wurmple that Shinya would likely put it through some kind of test before capturing it, and that even if it passed, being a part of Shinya's team would definitely not be a cake walk. Heracross hoped that Wurmple would be okay after all of that, and that Shinya wouldn't be too hard on such a small wild Pokémon. Having given his answer and advise, Heracross turned back to the battle at hand, now hoping that Charmander would be okay.
Meanwhile, Shinya grinned at the tiny bird Pokémon when it complained about Heracross being switched out, throwing some taunts at the wild Spearow several seconds later. "What's wrong ya flyin shrimp? Don't like today's specials? Too bad. So sad. But don't worry. Ya wont go hungry. Me and Charmander will make ya eat dirt!" The Team Skull grunt laughed out loud after his round of trash talk, as the rain and thunder continued all around the group. Sadly, Charmander wasn't having nearly as much fun as his trainer was, as he found it very hard to follow Spearow's movements with the heavy rainfall coming down all around him. The damage he'd taken from the Flying type's Peck attack didn't help at all either, but just like before, Charmander was determined to finish this battle up quickly, and get back into his Poke Ball and out of the rain. "Well go on Charmander! Use your Scratch attack again, and serve Spearow up a nice, big helping of dirt!" Shinya told Charmander what to do, and while Charmander wasn't very keen on the trash talk, the lizard Pokémon got his claws ready for another strike. "Char! Char! Mander!" As soon as the Fire type saw an opening, he took it, swinging his claws at the enraged Spearow as hard as he could.

Wild Encounter Weather: rain [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Spearow LV 5 HP 10% [5/20] [attr="class","qkt-wild-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Charmander LV 7 HP 41% [10/24] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] Spearow: [spd 13] Normal Charmander [Blaze]: [spd 16] -1def <Charmander used Scratch, Spearow used Peck> Wurmple looked quite surprised when it was told that Charmander was not going to stay on the team, and then looked closer at Shinya. He had said he was training bug types exclusively even though he didn't look at all like all the bug chatchers the wurmple had seen running around on the route. "Wurmple wurmple?" It asked as it wanted to know why the trainer had chosen to get it in the first place, and a fire type nonetheless. It then looked hesitant and quietly asked if Heracross knew if he himself or the wurmple was in danger of getting traded away too at some point? It looked rather sad as it had really hoped it had stumbled across a trainer that could make it fly! Wurmple looked nervous when Heracross talked about needing to testing it before being allowed to join, and it asked what kind of test, since it would have a hard time earning any high scores in speed for example. It eyed the charmander nervously, it would certainly not do well against any fires from that pokemon, if Shinya was planning on testing its endurance against such things. It crawled a bit closer to Heracross as it felt comforted by the hard shelled and kind bug. Spearow might not understand all what Shinya said but it certainly understood the meaning of it. It clattered angrily with its beak and momentarily forgot about the charmander as it turned and dived straight towards Shinya instead. The last member of Team Skull was quick to give his orders to his lizard, who didn't hesitated and sent the spearow sprawling into the wet grass with a well aimed strike of his claws. It rolled to get away and back on its feet and in the process got well covered in mud that stuck to its feathers, a bit of basking with its wings revealed it wasn't able to fly right away. Charmander had ended up following the order quite literally although unplanned. The spearow sprinted forward and got a well aimed peck planted in Charmander's soft leg and made it collapse below him. As he flailed in the mud, Spearow jumped a bit away and began to preen its feathers so it could become airborne again. It kept a close eye on Charmander and Shinya but also looked a bit disheartened.

As the rain continued to pour down all around them, Heracross listened to Wurmple's first question, and was quick to answer it. "Hera. Hera. Heracro." Heracross responded by informing Wurmple that as a new trainer, Shinya was required to get a starter Pokémon from the professor of Johto, and since none of them were Bug types, Shinya went with the starter Pokémon that he thought would be the most valuable as trade bait. This happened to be the Fire type of the three starter Pokémon, and as luck would have it, Shinya was right on the money, so to speak. Heracross then listened to Wurmple's second question, and was rather surprised by it, able to see the concern in the worm Pokémon's eyes. This did well to soften Heracross' facial expression, as he gently patted Wurmple's head with his claw, continuing to comfort the wild Bug type Pokémon. "Heracro. Heracro. Hera." The single horn Pokémon explained that as Bug types, he and Wurmple didn't have to worry about being traded away at all. He knew that much for sure.
Heracross then went on to tell Wurmple that he already knew about its dream, since its the same dream most Wurmple have. The dream of evolving into either a Beautifly or a Dustox, and flying through the air, no longer helplessly bound to the ground below the sky. Since he himself had wings, Heracross knew how it felt to fly, and he promised Wurmple that if it stuck with Shinya, Shinya would definitely make its dream a reality. Not long after that, Heracross saw Wurmple's fears regarding Shinya's test, and he quickly smiled at the smaller Bug type Pokémon, doing his best to reassure it that the test wouldn't be that bad. "Hera. Heracro. Hera." More then likely, Shinya would have Wurmple battle Heracross, since it would not only show the Team Skull grunt if Wurmple was strong enough to join the team or not, but also provide Heracross with some much needed experience points. Heracross might not have been with Shinya for very long, but he already knew him well enough to know that he wouldn't use a non-Bug type like Charmander unless he absolutely had to.
Meanwhile, back in the battle, Shinya began to laugh at Spearow after the previous round had come to an end. "Ahahahahah! What the heck was that? Did you actually just try to attack me? Look feather brain, you don't scare me, but you should be scared of me. Honestly, you should get down on your knees and thank Charmander. If he hadn't stepped in when he did, you would've learned the hard way that Im way worse then any Pokémon." Shinya said with a grin, looking down at the grounded Spearow with a rather menacing look in his eyes, as some thunder erupted from the sky right at that moment, adding to Shinya's already high level of intimidation. "Char!" Charmander was definitely scared, turning away from his trainer and shaking with fear the second he saw all of this. The Team Skull grunt wasn't about to give Spearow the time it needed to clean his wings off, as he gave Charmander his final order of this battle. "So Charmander, Id say its about time for us to wrap this one up. Use your Scratch attack one more time, and make sure this Spearow knows never to cross Team Skull ever again!" The Fire type's fear slowly faded away when he turned back to the wild Spearow, as he found the tiny bird Pokémon to be far less frightening then his own trainer. "Char! Char! Mander!" The lizard Pokémon once against ran straight for Spearow, aiming to end this battle while the Flying type was grounded.

Wurmple looked quite surprised when it heard that all trainers had to choose a specific pokemon when they began as trainers. "Wurmple!" It exclaimed as it suddenly understood why there was so many charmanders with trainers in this area, it had wondered where they have got them since it luckily had never seen any wild ones running around. "Wurm?" It asked as it wanted to know if the bulbasaur and the squirtle and lot of trainers also ran around with, where one of those so called "starters". It had seen a few other unknown pokemon with the trainers but they had been so few that it couldn't remember their names. Wurmple blinked at Heracross when he reassured that it was not going to be sold, he really trusted his trainer even though it sounded like they hadn't been together for long. "Wurmple," it said quietly as it mumbled it hoped he was right. As Heracross continued to talk straight to Wurmples heart it looked at him longingly while he described the feeling of flying and then even promised they would help it achieve it if it stayed with them. Some of its family had managed to evolve into cocoons and hide long enough to grow wings, all had left the area to some with fewer trainers running around and more space than the first route most trainers started on. It really, really hoped that it would pass Shinya's test and though Heracross reassured that it wouldn't be so difficult, it found having to battle the big and sturdy bug type quite intimidating. Heracross was brave enough to face off spearow, could Wurmple compete with that? Spearow glared at Shinya when he mocked it, it still didn't quite understood what was said but the meaning was quite clear. It did not held back from attacking humans and had done it before, which often had resulted them in running away and giving it the victory. Now it felt more uncertain, Charmander looked determined and the human just laughed at it. On top of that its wings were muddy and it felt quite battered with all the scratches Charmander had given it. It had begun to question if the bug snack was really worth all the hassle. It flinched when the lightening split the sky again. That combined with Shinya's intimidation and Charmander's determination made up its mind, it spun around and tried to fly away as Charmander charged it. It would have succeeded hadn't its wings been splashed with mud and it had barely got free from the ground before Charmander was at its side and with a precise claw strike sent it sprawling into the mud. The spearow laid gasping and was unable to continue battling, it closed its eyes and hoped that Shinya would leave it alone quickly so it could lick its wounds. The rain slowly turned into a drizzle and then a bit of dripping as the thunderstorm moved on. The ground was wet and muddy while an occasionally rumbling from the now distant thunderstorm could be heard. Charmander won the battle and grows to level 9! Heracross was brave in facing the hungry bird, he grows to level 3! In response to Wurmple's shock, and follow up question, Heracross nodded at the small Bug type Pokémon before answering. "Heracro. Hera." Heracross confirmed that Bulbasaur and Squirtle were indeed starter Pokémon, just like Charmander, as he'd seen them in the professor's lab when Shinya picked up his Charmander. The single horn Pokémon then gave Wurmple a friendly smile, and gently patted the top of its head, once again assuring it that with Shinya's help, it would one day fly high as well. "Hera. Heracro." Several seconds after that, Heracross, as well as Shinya and Charmander, all looked up to see the sun starting to shine through the storm clouds, as the thunderstorm had finally come to an end. This made Heracross smile once again, and it made Charmander let out a sigh of relief, as his tail flame began to grow stronger, back to its normal level of heat. "Char..." Shinya, on the other hand, just shrugged his shoulders, looking mildly disappointed with this outcome.
"Oh well. It was fun while it lasted." Shinya remarked, having actually enjoyed the stormy weather, since it reminded him of his home and all. The Team Skull grunt then turned his attention to the defeated Spearow, looked at the tiny bird Pokémon for a few seconds, then turned away from it, not interested in it at all. Now that it was beaten, it wasn't even worth his taunts and insults anymore. Shinya then called Charmander back to his Poke Ball, and looked down at the orb with a small grin on his face. "The buyer should be ready with their end of the deal for you by now." Shinya spoke to the lizard Pokémon through the sphere, then put it away for now, ready to hand it over when the buyer came by with the Pokémon he asked for in exchange for the Fire type. Shinya then once again turned his attention, this time focusing on his Heracross and the wild Wurmple. "Well, you two seem to have gotten rather chummy. Since that's the case, it'll be you that tests our new recruit Heracross."
Shinya grinned once more, and Heracross turned to face his trainer, afraid he would end up saying something like that. The Bug/Fighting type Pokémon then turned to Wurmple, taking a few steps back from his new friend, and apologized for what he was about to do to the wild Pokémon. "Heracro." It was easy for Shinya to see that the two Bug types had become fast friends, but that was all the more reason for him to make them battle each other here and now. "Its time to see if your worthy of joining Team Skull Wurmple. Heracross, use your Horn Attack now, and don't hold anything back!" Heracross heard Shinya's command loud and clear, and almost didn't want to do it, but he knew that he had no say in the matter, especially since it was either himself or Charmander. And so, after taking a deep breath, and gathering his fortitude, Heracross channeled his energy into his horn, and flew straight for Wurmple as fast as he could. "Hera! Heracro!"

Wurmple wished that Heracross words would come true but a part of it had a hard time believing it. How could it, a little weak wurmple ever hope to impress a trainer like Shinya who clearly wanted strong pokemon? What difference would it be able to do at all? It followed Shinya's interaction with the charmander and was relieved to see it disappear, hopefully the bird would as well soon. It could see that even if Shinya was somewhat kind to his bug types he wasn't towards the ones who stood against him or was in his way, and the wurmple already feared his wrath. As the last member of Team Skull turned its attention to it, it fought the urge to hide behind Heracross and managed to stand up straight to face him, even though it was shaking like a leaf in the breeze. Wurmple was too nervous to have any voice to talk with and it just nodded to Heracross and tried to ignore the voice inside that screamed it was no match for the big blue bug. It reminded itself it had to impress Shinya and it could do that in other ways than by winning, right? It was its only chance. Heracross was by far the fastest and crashed into Wurmple before it got to think its plan to end. It had to act quickly and had to keep up with Heracross if it should even have a chance to attack it at all. Half by instinct it shot a sticky thread after the passing heracross and got yanked off the ground and flew through the air after its fast opponent. Wurmple clung to the string, unsure of what to do now. Heracross could feel a restrain on his wings where the string shot were tangled around and pulled in his wings with every move he made. Heracross didn't enjoy this battle one bit, having just made friends with this wild Wurmple. Be that as it may, the single horn Pokémon had no choice but to obey his master, especially when that master was Shinya. And speaking of the Team Skull grunt, he made sure to watch closely, as it was easy for him to see that the worm Pokémon was struggling. Both physically and mentally during this battle. However, Shinya didn't have the same harsh and merciless look in his eyes that he did when he and his Pokémon faced their last two opponents. For reasons unknown to Heracross and Wurmple, Shinya's facial expression had softened slightly. Shinya certainly knew why this was though, as the words of his big sis, Plumeria, began to ring in his mind.
Plumeria may have been an admin of Team Skull, but she had always been a helpful source of advice, strength, and comfort for Shinya during his days in Po Town with the rest of the team. She wasn't as rough around the edges as Guzma was, and always had a soft spot for Shinya, which ended up rubbing off on him, though not as much as Guzma did. Never the less, her influence had still given Shinya a bit of a soft spot on his own, even if it didn't show itself very often. Back in the battle, Heracross was forced to make a crash landing when Wurmple shot its threads at his wings, hitting the ground with a thud sound. This wasn't gonna stop the Bug/Fighting type though, as he got back on his feet, and turned to face Wurmple, though unable to fly for the moment. Heracross stood ready for Shinya's next order, even if he still didn't wish to fight against Wurmple, but then was surprised when Shinya suddenly stepped on in front of him. "Heracro?"
"I think that'll do Heracross. Wurmples aren't that hard to catch." Shinya spoke in a softer tone then usual, only slightly though, as he looked down at the small worm Pokémon, grabbing a single Poke Ball from his bag. "Ya know bug, I like you. Come join our crew. That's right. Ill let ya into Team Skull." Shinya gave the small wild Pokémon a grin, but then got his threatening aura back, giving Wurmple a look that could make even a Gyarados turn tail and run. "By the way, you don't get to say no. Got it?" With his threat made clear, Shinya raised the empty Poke Ball in his grip, then tossed at right at Wurmple. "Alright Poke Ball, get it!" Heracross watched all of this with wide eyes, believe that he'd misheard his trainer once or twice, never imagining that he'd hear those first words from Shinya. However, Heracross snapped out of it after he'd heard Shinya's threat towards the smaller Bug type Pokémon, reminded that Shinya was still Shinya. "Hera..."

The red and white sphere engulfed the Wurmple sucking it into the pokeball. After all the trainer had done for it, protecting it from those spearows the Wuempul was content with the pokeball encapsulating it. The ball shook once... twice.. and then three times, catching the little bug pokemon within. The flock of spearow by now had fled, seeing that they would not get lunch today and that if they stook around, the vicious trainer would attack them again. With the wurmpul caught, Shinya could continue beating up pokemon here or move foreward toward cherrygrove city. As soon as the ball had stopped shaking from side to side, Shinya grinned, before walking over, picking it up, and taking a good look at it in his grip. "Welcome to Team Skull Wurmple. Hope ya wont let us down." Shinya spoke to his new recruit through the red and white orb, then put it away in his bag for later. That's when Heracross walked over to his trainer, having finished cleaning Wurmple's threads out of his wings, and gave his trainer a questioning look. "Hera? Heracro?" Shinya looked to the route ahead of them, keeping his grinning, as he already knew what he wanted to do next. "Well, there aren't anymore Pokémon here that would make good additions to Team Skull, but our work isn't done here quite yet Heracross. Our contact came through with the new Pokémon I asked for, so why don't we break it, and Wurmple in and see what they can do?"
The Team Skull grunt's words came with an excited and devilish tone. A very unsettling combination, especially to one such as Heracross, who knew his trainer quite well by this time. "Heracro." The single horn Pokémon spoke to himself, hoping that things would be easier for himself and Shinya's other Pokémon from this point on. However, in the back of his mind, the Bug/Fighting type knew that the further on they went, the tougher things would get, and it wouldn't be because of any other trainer or wild Pokémon. "Alright, enough talk. Lets go find our next victim." Shinya declared, then called Heracross back to his Poke Ball, putting it away next to Wurmple's in his bag. With that, Shinya put his hands into his pockets, and continued to walk down the path on route 29. As he went, Shinya whistled Team Skull's theme song to himself, keeping his eyes and ears peeled for any other trainers or wild Pokémon that were bold enough, or foolish enough to cross his path.

After the catching of wurmpul, the route seemed silent for a Time. It seemed all other pokemon were scared away by the vicious battles and the flock of spearow fleeing in fear. However, one brave soul ventured out in search of some berries or food to eat. The lone rattata stuck it's nose up into the air, and sniffed around. Noticing Shinya and his army of bug types, it flinched a bit but decided to go up to ask for food, or at least a battle. The rat walked to shinya, and yelled out triumpant yet viciously- "RATTATYA!" Which translated as the pokemon could make out to- "Give me food or i will fight you!" A wild Rattata Level 5 appered. What will Shinya do? l9oD1sJv1-69

Shinya kind of enjoyed the silence of the route, as he continued to walk down the grassy path, whistling his tune as he went. While he did enjoy some down time every now and then, Shinya was a man on a mission, and he was more determined then ever to see it through. As such, part of him strongly yearned for another intense battle. He didn't care who his opponent was, Pokémon or trainer, Shinya just wanted to see his next opponent in front of him sooner rather then later. Also, the Team Skull grunt loved nothing more then preying on those who were weaker then him, and going without someone to toy with for too long was a feeling that he didn't really care for. If there was one thing that Shinya hated in this world, it was being bored.
Fortunately for him, his prayers were soon answered, as he turned, and looked down at the wild Ratatta that had called out to him. Although he was unable to understand Pokémon language, he still got the gist of what this rat Pokémon wanted from him, and it made Shinya's devilish grin return to his face. "Another hungry Pokémon? Man, you Pokémon just never learn, do ya? Whatever. This is one lesson I don't mind teaching multiple times. Time to try out my new recruit. Lets see what you can do Pinsir. Go!" As he spoke, Shinya grabbed a Poke Ball from his bag, and tossed it up into the air, letting out the Pokémon inside. The Pokémon that emerged was a newly hatched, yet still very mean looking Pinsir, and this stag beetle Pokémon had almost the exact same look in his eyes that his new trainer did. It was a truly frightening sight, being looked down on by this trainer and Pokémon pair, with their cold and piercing gazes that screamed "Show no mercy!"
"Pin. Pinsir." Pinsir spoke to the wild Ratatta, flexing the huge claws on top of his head, telling the small Normal type that he would tear it in half. This Bug type Pokémon may have been fresh from his egg, but he was clearly bursting with confidence and cruelty. This was just the kind of combination that Shinya liked to see in his Pokémon, as he gave Pinsir his first order of the battle. "That's the spirit Pinsir. I like you already. Show me what you've got. Give that dirty rat a taste of your Feint Attack!" Upon hearing his trainer's command, Pinsir began his attack, quickly vanishing from sight. Seconds later, the stag beetle Pokémon appeared behind Ratatta, seemingly out of nowhere, and struck the rat Pokémon with his large claws, not holding anything back. "Pinsir!"

With all the hungry pokemon there was on route 29 one would might question if there was some porblem since the wild pokemon seemed to have problems sustaining themselves. If it was thing Shinya cared about or not was a question only he could answer, hunger made pokemon more aggressive and desperate but could also weaken them and made them less optional to train against, if they were too easy Shinya's pokemon wouldn't learn as much. The rattata glared and whipped its tail impatiently while Shinya talked, it didn't care what the human had to say, it just wanted them to provide food for it, and it had to be right now! There was little it thought it could learn anyway, other than how to bossy others around so they did what it wanted. As pinsir was sent forth the rattata looked at it with disdain. "You are not food, fetch me something to eat and make it quick!" It threatened completely blind to Pinsir's unspoken threats. Either it was just too full of itself to think anything could threaten it, or it was too dense to read body-language. When Shinya gave the order its face darkened and it cracked its joints in its neck to loosen them. "You wanna fight? I'll give you a fight," it threatened and decided to wait until Pinsir had moved. Pinsir did manage to get out of Rattata's sight and he struck the purple rat with all his might, but it didn't do much else than making it stagger. Rattata spun around and crashed into Pinsir and knocked the air out of him and sent him sprawling to the ground where he had to fight to catch his breath again. Rattata leaped up on top of pinsir and stared him right in the eyes. "Are you going to get me food now or do you need more of this?!" It shouted him straight in the face. Shinya never really took notice of the wild Pokémon in the world around, not did he care in the least about their problems. The only wild Pokémon Shinya cared about were the ones on his list of Pokémon we wanted to capture for his team, and all others were just nuisances and good ways to train up the Pokémon he's already captured. And speaking of nuisances, Shinya let out a heavy sigh once he'd seen his new Pinsir get flatted by this wild Ratatta. It made the Team Skull grunt remember how much he hated raising Pokémon up from level one, as he silently made a remark to himself. "Its gonna be a long day." Meanwhile, Pinsir was hurt, but only got angry, as he glared up at the wild rat Pokémon who'd injured him. "Pin. Pinsir. Pinsir." The pure Bug type Pokémon was determined to make good on his word to tear the small Normal type in half, as he pushed the Ratatta off of himself, and slowly got back on his feet.
However, right as he did, Shinya pulled Pinsir back to his Poke Ball without any kind of warning. "Sorry Pinsir, but I really don't feel like wasting my Potions and Revives on such puny wild Pokémon. Looks like we gotta do this the hard way. Heracross, take over!" Shinya placed Pinsir's Poke Ball back into his bag, grabbed Heracross', and threw the single horn Pokémon into the battle. "Heracro!" Heracross emerged with an eager smile, a bit surprised that he was now doing Charmander's job of training the new recruits, but was also very determined to help his fellow Bug types reach their full potential. "Alright Heracross, lets see if all that training paid off. Use Horn Attack now!" Shinya called out Heracross' first order of the battle, pointing directly at the wild Ratatta as he did. "Hera! Heracro!" Heracross did as he was told, opening his wings, infusing his horn with power and strength, then flying right at Ratatta, but he also apologized to the rat Pokémon before beginning his attack, still feeling bad about harming a hungry wild Pokémon.
OOC: Switching over to Heracross, and using Horn Attack.

The rattata tumbled off and sprawled into the grass when Pinsir pushed it off. It was qucikly back on its feet clackered its teeth as a warning, it still seemed like it didn't believe anything in the world could take it down. "Get me food! Or I'll snap you in half!" It screamed and then gaped as Pinsir disappeared in a red flash. "Hey! Come back here you coward! You didn't get me the food you owe me!" It half screamed and searched frantically for its target, sniffing the ground and eyeing the nearby bushes as it suspected that Pinsir had hidden there. The flash that accompanied Heracross appearance caught its attention and it glared at the other bug. "Listen coward! Either you come back here with my food, or I'll let your friend pay!" It called out clearly expecting Pinsir to appear again subdued and do what Rattata told it to. When it didn't happen it shrugged. "All right, I warned you," It called out and then sprinted forward and slammed into Heracross, making him staggere a bit backwards. He dealt with the damage much more easily than Pinsir had done although the rattata didn't seem to notice it, or perhaps it just didn't care. Heracross took a swing at the rat while it was close and he sent the it flying with ease. The rattata got back on its feet looking really battered but just glared at Heracross. "That was stupidly done," it warned and crashed into the blue bug with a tackle that once again sent Heracross staggering backwards. He easily stayed on his feet and looked much better than the purple rat. Rattata shook dust out of its fur and sent Heracross an icy stare. "Here's the deal, give me your food and I will stop hurting you. If not Both you and your hiding coward of a friend will regret it," it declared loudly although it didn't expect any answers, only fearful obedience from the big bug.
