It looked so... ugly. Lenore pouted at the window of the Pokémon Center as she waited for her own team to be serviced. There was a line. She couldn't believe it! Where did all these trainers come from? Sullen, the woman turned her head in her chin to stare at the annoying brats that had assembled in the lobby. She glared at them, sour that she was put behind all the noisy kids shuffling around. Her hands went to her ears as if that would help lessen the chatter rattling around the room. She was tired of it. Tired at staring at the early snows muddying up the ground. She didn't want to be stuck here if it continued snowing through the night. With a huff the dancer rose and stomped toward the counter. Her metal heels clacked even over the sound of the young trainers happily mingling. The nurse noticed and hid a regretful look before addressing Lenore in her usual cheery manner. "How long is it going to take?" the woman spoke bluntly, her impatience oozing out. It had already been twice as long as usual, surely they'd have to be done soon. "I'm sorry but your pokémon are still in the queue," Nurse Joy responded kindly, gesturing to the tray that held Kiki and the others. A vein popped on Lenore's temple. "Just... Give them back." The showgirl pointed to her pokémon as she gave the order. The nurse tried to object, off put by Lenore's tone, but did as told. "You can't take them out in that condition," she commented with slight hesitation. "I'm not." The reply was curt. Lenore didn't want to be told what to do like a child. She hated being treated the same as all the other 10 year olds bumbling about the lobby. That overly cheerful tone was something Lenore detested. After a quick PC visit the dancer was off. Out into the silence of the snowfall. Sure there were still kids off in the distance having snowball fights or making snowmen, but soon she'd be out of this lame town and into the wilds. Apparently there were some interesting swarms about, from what she could gather from all the children in the center. One good thing to come of her wasted time sitting around. "Now... let's get out of here before the route gets snowed over." She took a deep breath and nodded to herself. She adjusted the scarf and attachable hood to ensure her hair wouldn't be getting wet as she walked. Her coat was drawn in tightly, though her legs were still left rather bare. It was a chill at first but as her body heated up from the exercise it faded away.

The snow crunched below Lenore's shoes, and the day was quiet and peaceful. Most wild pokemon weren't thrilled about his kind of weather, it made it difficult to find something to eat, so the ones who could, hid and made as little as possible. The peace were soon disturbed by childish voices, and due to the snow Lenore barely got to hear them before she stumbled upon them. It was a group picknicers and campers, from the look of their practical clothes. They had tents set up which some of them were busy trying to pull down, while others couldn't resist the temptation of playing with the snow instead. In the middle of it all a young girl stood with her hands on her hips while she tried to direct the others. She stomped over to a pair who was having a snowball fight. "Come on! Stop playing around and pack things down!" She ordered, and the two stopped and began to pull things out of a tent, but not long after they look like they had forgotten and instead began to build a snowman. The girl groaned and looked helplessly down at the nidoran at her side. "What should I do about them, they are hopeless. With this speed we will never be done," She said theatrically and noticed Lenore. Her hands went to her hips again. "What?" She demanden, "Are you here to help or not?"Picknicker Lizz wants your help to pack down the camp. She has a Nidoran♀ [lvl 12] to help her.

She was finally starting to get used to the gentle fall of soft bright flakes. Her legs were warming, or half-numb it was hard to tell when she didn't want to take her hands out of her pockets. Lenore still found the snow covered land a bit of a sore sight compared to the vibrancy of summer, but the quiet was almost relaxing. The woman paused as she came upon a drift of snow ahead. Likely a more wild section of the path on the way to Azalea she guessed, noting the pricks of tall grass poking out of the deeper section of snow piles. A grumble came from her throat and she drew her jacket in even tighter. Before she got going again though the shrill sound of children reached her ears. Angry shouting mixed with joyous laughter. "Oh great..." she mumbled in annoyance. It sounded like it was just ahead of her, passed a break in the trees where no doubt some sort of clearing would lie. She stepped forward, accepting the possibility she'd run into more like those she'd just escaped in the Pokémon Centre. Her only hope was that she could slip by unnoticed. Sadly, that didn't end up being the case. Lenore cursed incoherently as her metallic shoe clipped something. A chip of ice beneath the fresh snow, or a rock, or something! She didn't know. She didn't care. The random event just heightened her frustrations and caught the attention of the young camper. The two girls locked eyes for a moment, Lenore's breath catching in her chest as if staying silent and motionless would make the picknicker ignore her. But it didn't. The green clad trainer called out with a familiarity they didn't share. The showgirl's temperature rose a degree. "Excuse me?" she responded indignantly. "No, I'm not part of this gaggle. Clean up your own damn mess kid," the woman huffed, eyes glaring angrily at the whole scene of children bumbling about in the snow. She would have left then, but a pop of a pokéball surprised her. Her eyes darted down to see which one of her pokémon had just released itself. "Eeeev?," came a quizzical chirp. The big-eared fluffball looked up at her trainer and then to the others nearby, trying to piece together what it was that was causing Lenore such annoyance. She was still itching to prove herself, having been denied so many times in Dark Cave previously. "Aria? What are you doing--get back here!" Lenore commanded as her young eevee dashed off with a happy cheer. The trainer's voice brought her to a slow however, head partially turning around in consideration of what she was doing wrong. But she didn't want to waste this opportunity. Aria stopped short and turned around, kicking up a bunch of snow at the Nidoran♀ before trotting back to Lenore's side.

Despite the similarities carried in the two people’s personalities, these two were not going to be friends, it seemed. The young picknicker seemed offended by Lenore’s words. She was the one who ran the show. She called the shots. She was the leader. And she certainly did not like being told what to do, certainly by an older stranger she hadn’t seen in her life. Lizz took notice of the appearance of Aria, desperate to prove itself to its trainer. “Hey, what do you think you are doing?” Lizz asked towards the eevee and the trainer, while the Pokemon dashed forward. Lizz’s Nidoran had stood calm at her side up until now. Perhaps it had a balancing personality to counter that of the young girls? That wouldn’t be the case. Snow and brushed up dirt from the ground was kicked up at the nidoran. Once it could regain its vision a tad bit, the nidoran could see the eevee trotting along back to its trainer. Oh man was Lizz and her Pokemon mad now! First they couldn’t get anyone to help pickup camp, and now this? What else would happen in the day? “Hey!” Lizz called out to the trainer. “You’re picking a fight on the wrong trainer! If it’s a fight you want, we’re going to take you down!” Lizz hadn’t made much note of the fact that Aria had acted on her own free will and not along that of her trainer’s. Perhaps she was too young and too prideful to notice? Before Lizz could make any sort of attack order towards her nidoran, the nidoran had plans of her own. The poison-type Pokemon was already darting through the snow towards Aria. Lizz’s nidoran’s focus was locked onto the eevee unmovingly, carrying a very unwelcoming facial expression. Eventually arriving at her target, the nidoran gave a furious swipe of its claw into the side of the eevee, digging into its golden brown fur with as much strength as her foreleg could muster. "Just great," the dancer mumbled, straightening herself within the bundles of her long coat. All this standing around was starting to allow the chill to set in again. It made her wonder just how these camper kids were running about in shorts. Aria finally got her first real taste of battle, instigated purely by her own naivety. The blonde lifted her head from the battle and rolled her shoulders a couple times, closing her eyes to the heavens and taking a deep breath. Replaying Liz's words in her head, 'If it's a fight you want...'"Fine. Maybe this will make me feel better," she voiced quietly to no one. Lenore wouldn't mind slapping around some noisy children after the day she's had. "Alright babe?" The eevee's ears flipped back at the question. Some of the playful spunk had gone out of the furry beast but she gave a nod and went into a more serious stance. "Good. You started this hun so you're going to finish it, got it? Quickly now," instructed the woman. She shivered once as her little fox set forth. Snow had begun melting against her shoes as she stood still. Her toes still feeling the faint blunt of whatever it had been that stopped her here. Perhaps it was something the kids had tossed away overnight and the fresh snowfall that threatened to close off parts of the routes had hidden it in the meantime. The idea made her feel a tiny bit more justified in continuing the battle the young picknicker. Lenore glared out from under her hood. Generally unimpressed with the world and moreso now that a wind had started to pick up. Lovely. "You sure you don't need to get those tents down before the wind carries them off little girl?" she called across the way to her opponent. The breeze picked up then. A strong gust any bird would be joyous to have at their back. The sound of canvas rippled loudly behind the picknicker as the other campers continued to horse around.

"Yeah, don't think you are going to go anywhere after that rude trick of yours," Lizz stated and throw her hair back as the wind blew it into har face. "Go for a kick this time, sent it down into the dust and give back tenfold," the girl gave her order to her nidoran whose eyes narrowed at the brown fox. Snow was thrown to the sides as Aria sprinted through it and crashed into the nidoran and sent them both into a snowpile. Lizz sprang to the side to avoid getting hit by the splashed of snow and mud on her and she glared at Lenore. "Perhaps you should learn to control your pokemon?" She asked derisively and found a semi dry spot to stand, while the pokemon made their way out of the snow again. The nidoran glared almost hatefully at Aria as she began to head back to Lenore, and she took aim and jumped, and slipped and landed belly first instead of feet first on the eevee. The nidoran shot a quick glance towards the camp and saw to her horror that several of the other kids and their pokemon had stopped to watch. They certainly had seen her humiliating fall and clattered its teeth, promising itself to make Aria pay as she blamed it all on her. "Oh no! Are you alright?" Lizz asked her pokemon worried and nidoran shook the worst snow off her and crouched, ready for action the moment she was given the word. Lizz forgot to worry much more about her pokemon as Lenore mocked her, and her eyes snapped back to the woman. "I was trying to when you came and rudely decided to bury us in snow," Lizz answered coldly and then gestured towards the kids behind her, who was either watching or still playing with the snow. "But be my guest, if you think you are better at getting these babies to do what they are supposed to do, than ordering your pokemon around, I'll love to see it," she offered and looked expectantly at Lenore, Lizz doubted the woman wanted to babysit and try order those lazy kids to safe their tents. "Wha-!" The woman's mouth stood agape for a second as the child insulted her capabilities as a trainer. The fur lining the edges of her hood waved in her face as she processed the audacity. Aria on the other hand didn't really get why everyone was so agitated. She did understand that her trainer was distressed though, and that was all she needed to know she should act. As rash as Aria could be sometimes Lenore knew she was acting along that line somewhere. She wasn't going to let some brat try and shame either of them. Someone else may have realized that they were the adult here and there was nothing to be gained from having a cat fight with a teen... and now they had a bit of an audience. How could she possibly back down now? It was time to change tactics a bit. "Well," she huffed, "Aren't we a control freak." Lenore lifted her chin smugly, relaxing herself into a slightly wider stance and shoving all thoughts of the cold out of her mind. "Someone doesn't fall in line and you lose all composure." As she continued her own demeanor continued to calm. "Does your nidoran have any mind of her own? Or do you tell her when she's allowed to eat and when she can take a break? I bet you have schedules for all your friends' activities too. Weather not what was predicted? Day ruined!" She added a bit of dramatic flair at the end. Aria could feel the tension lift from the blond as the talking continued and resumed a more playful sway of her big bushy tail. "Control control control. That's all it is with you," she added, lifting a finger to her cheek as her visage grew into a smug grin. "Aria hun?" The eevee barked in reply. "I trust you can take care of your playmate?" Another affirmative bark came from the normal type pokémon. She bounced a bit in the snow before settling into a position suited for pouncing. This was going to be interesting. Lenore had no idea if the young eevee could even handle herself in any battle let alone one the showgirl couldn't afford to lose. But the mystery of what Aria was going to decide to do against nidoran would hopefully drive Liz at least a little bit crazy. And that little possibility of furthering the girl's rage made the gamble worth it.

“H-hey!” Lizz said to the trainer. “You don’t know anything about me or my nidoran! Don’t tell me what I am and what I’m not!” Lizz barked towards Lenore with quite a sense of aggression. What Lenore was saying caused the trainer great frustration, her face seemingly turning bright red in anger, regardless of the cold and wintery weather. “N-no!” Lizz said in response to Lenore’s comments on her and her nidoran’s lifestyle. The nidoran herself looked up at her trainer and then looked back towards the eevee, seeming to confirm what Lenore said was the truth of the situation. “I’ll show you who needs to control themselves!” Lizz said angrily. “Nidoran --” Before Lizz could muster an angry battle order, the eevee had slapped more sand into the eyes of the already quite angered nidoran. Her and Lizz’s eyes were both furrowed towards the eevee and her trainer. The sense of not knowing what was going on at all times seemed to be getting to her. “Nidoran! Give that eevee what it deserves! A nice big scratch!” Lizz wasn’t very wise when it came to battling. The Nidoran’s deep red eyes were locked on Aria as it charged, just barely able to land the scratch attack upon the eevee with its poor vision. The hit hadn’t done much damage however. “Nidoran, what are you doing?!” Lizz called out to her Pokemon . “You’re stronger than that! Show that weakling of a Pokemon and the trainer who we are!” Lizz’s anger was uncontrolled, as much as she loved to control things. Normally she wasn’t rude towards her Pokemon companion, but her impulsive anger has had too much to deal with today. What luck. Liz fell right into the trap. Her face visibly reddening as her temper rose to match the shrill in her voice. Lenore's own pit of anger dissipated, leaving her feeling practically refreshed. Even the chill of winter's end couldn't discomfort her now. She took a deep breath. Her grin twisting with pleasure. Her day was finally turning around! "Oh, honey," Lenore spoke up after a pitch of controlled laughter. There was but a slight pause before she continued, her tone condescending, "You've got no talent. No wonder you order other people around to do everything for you. Do you even know how to pitch a tent on your own?" She followed up the mostly rhetorical question with a chuckle. The dancer's arms dropped to a crossed position at her chest. A pair of fingers absentmindedly playing with the bit of feather at the cuff of her coat arm. Even Aria was getting a bit into the cruelty, albeit naive to the fact that her opponent weren't the bad guys in this situation. The eevee was just happy Lenore was happy. She stuck her tongue out and bounced around, simultaneously being aware that the poison pokémon would have a hard time keeping track of the normal type due to the impaired eyesight and somehow not putting together that Nidoran♀ probably wouldn't be able to see such small sleights. But it was no matter, the brown fox-like creature quickly switched to making more feinted pokes to play with her opponent. Bounding in and waiting until the poison pin-cushion gave an overcompensated reaction before dashing away with a cackle. She also got around Nidoran♀ at one point and let out a fierce growl as close up to those big floppy blue ears as possible. Perhaps a thing she'd quickly regret as the proximity put her in danger of another scratch by the poison pokémon. The antics continued to amuse the eevee's trainer. "Heheh, look how helpless your pokémon is," came further chuckling from the blond. So far Aria was doing alright on her own, if taking a while to get on with it. But for now the toying was acceptable to drive a pointless point. Before Lenore's impatience for a conclusion to this encounter could start growing, Aria finally bowed down to the ground and prepared for an actual attack. Her nose twitched, tail stuck in the air with a light bob, and she was off.

Lizz listened as Lenore continued on with her bit about the picknicker always feeling the need for control and how she was talentless. “Y-yes! I do, thank you very much!” Lizz replied, a stutter appearing in her extremely angered and irritated voice. Her attention was on the trainer and not so much the battle at hand between her nidoran and Aria. The poison-type Pokemon was no less angry in the situation than her trainer, perhaps even angry at her trainer herself as well? Who knew. The nidoran would barely see Aria’s approach or playfully taunting actions, but her ears could still work perfectly fine. With a loud growl almost directly into her ear, it spooked the poison point Pokemon so much that it would jump back from the direction of the growl. Quickly, though, she would lock onto the sound of where the growl attack came from and again strike with her claw once more, landing nicely into the eevee’s golden brown coat of fur. The attack didn’t seem as strong as previously, however. “N-No, you're wrong!” Lizz called out, angered at just about anything and everything at the moment. “Nidoran is not helpless! You’ll see! You worry about your Pokemon, and I’ll worry about mine!” Lizz called back in an absolute tantrum, almost seemingly in a high-pitch yell. As the fox Pokemon charged towards an unprepared nidoran, there was nothing it could do. As Lenore had said, helpless. A full body force from Aria would send the nidoran flying back into the snow. “Nidoran, get up!” The picnicker said to her nidoran. “You can’t let her win!” Lizz appeared to hardly notice the nidoran's state at the moment, feeling weak and defeated by the words of their opponent. It attempted to scratch at the eevee before it could get away with the tackle, but that wasn’t going to work out for the poor Pokemon. Its claw missed entirely. Lenore was elated. This was all going perfectly and she didn't have to do anything. She voiced her cheer with further laughter at the expense of Lizz's pokémon. Aria joined in, barking happily with a chipper tail wag to go along with it. How their audience was taking the trashing of their fellow bossy camper was lost on the woman. She didn't need them to feel justified in showing this brat how weak she was, nor any encouragement. Everything else was a sideline and not worthy of the dancer's attention at this moment. She put her hands together and clapped. A mockery of her opponent's performance. "Give up girl," Lenore started, pausing to let out another giggle. "You could walk away with some shred of pride." But of course that wasn't going to happen. Just a further prod in Lizz's side. As long as Aria kept up the attacks this should be over pretty soon. So far the eevee's solo instincts had been wonderful. A nice balance of tease and action. Lenore was impressed. "Or my 'out-of-control' pokémon," she raised her hands to do air-quotes as she referenced Lizz's earlier insults, "... will tear the last of that away as she puts your nidoran in the ground." Lenore let her arms down to rest in a crossed position once again, posture laid back to put most of her weight on one leg. Aria sat back on her haunches for a moment, ears twitching back to listen to her trainer's words. The eevee's head cocked to the side and considered for just a second before raising a hind leg to scratch behind an ear. The soothe bell around her neck jingling lightly; an unsuited melody for the atmosphere of the battle. The audience was more or less a complete collection of all the hooligans horsing around before. A soft hum of whispers and mumbling amongst themselves could barely be noticed above the gentle winter breeze. The only one laughing was the showgirl in the outrageous costume for this weather. On the plus side..? Lenore sorta gave an order so Lizz could at least guess was going to be coming at her pokémon this turn; assuming Aria was paying enough attention. Not that there was really any silver lining to this. No white knight was coming to rescue Lizz from the misfortune she had stepped into. None of her fellow campers moved to interfere and her pokémon clearly couldn't fend off Aria much longer.

The winds were gusting. They blew across the open battlefield and pulled at the ends of the Picnicker’s clothes. Liz crossed her arms over her chest and stared daggers at the rude blonde-haired trainer and her annoying brown-and-cream furred fox companion. Just who did they think that they were, after all? Her eyes darted to her small blue female Nidoran with concern as she watched her poison rabbit stumble about on the battlefield. “We’re never giving up!”[ Defiant as ever, Liz challenged Lenore’s directive. Nidoran stumbled a bit and shook its head as it studied its opponent. The Sand Attack from earlier was still leaving lingering and lasting effects. “Nidoran, use – Hey, watch out!” Liz switched her words in the middle of her sentence. Her eyes widened as she watched the Eevee rushing towards her companion. Aria was slowly dwindling down the Nidoran’s health. The Eevee ran across the battlefield and charged towards the Nidoran, and the small blue rabbit’s ears twitched nervously while its feet started to kick up as it tried to run. Too fast! With a loud thumb and a bang, the Eevee knocked into the Nidoran’s side, knocking the Pokemon over as Aria barreled into her opponent. The Nidoran squealed and kicked it her feet as she squirmed and wriggled to get back onto for feet. With enough determination and patience, she rolled back onto her four standing limbs and stood facing off with her opponent. “Did my words offend you? Pokemon need control. They need a guiding voice to tell them what attack to use. When to use it!” Then she gestured towards the battlefield where both of the opponent lay before them. Nidoran wasn't looking too hot, however, and tumbled a bit back and forth on the battlefield. "H-hey Nidoran?! Are you ok! NIDORAN!?" In an instance, the young lass clad in her bright green picnicker outfit dashed out onto the battlefield and scooped up her companion in her arms. "Niiidoo..." A soft, tiny plea escaped the poison rabbit's lips. The female Nidoran passed out in her Trainer's arms within an instance. Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes as Liz clung to her Pokemon partner. With a quiet indignation, the Picnicker pulled the red-and-white Pokeball that belonged to Nidoran from her pocket and summoned her companion back into the contraption. "Just because you've won," She huffed and puffed at Lenore with her hands placed firmly on her hips, "Don't mean anything. You're most certainly not right. That Eeveee s'gunna find someone, somewhere...someday. They'll set 'em straight!" She left out a quick huff of hot air as she tossed the funds that Lenore had won onto the ground. Then, Liz began to stomp on the Pokedollars before she turned around and began stomping off. "We'll get stronger!" She cursed to the heavens above, as she strode off into the distance. "Mark my words - then we'll defeat you!" A trickle of delight swept up the woman's spine as she watched the young girl swoop in to save her beaten down nidoran. An ugly grin stuck to the dancer's face as her pokémon skipped back to be at her side. The eevee chirped to get Lenore's attention. Of who, of course, bent down to give her eevee a rigorous scratch behind the ears. "You are going to get so many treats!"This got the eevee even more excited. Rubbing against the trainer's leg as she stood back up to watch and listen the bossy picnicker continue her empty threats. "Oh please, like you can judge character." The showgirl cocked her head to the side, one hand going on the opposite hip. As Lizz took her leave and called her last promises into the air Lenore simply waved and muttered under her breath. She was so glad that was over. It had lifted her mood but now with it all over she remembered she was still in the presence of a gaggle of children. Her head turned to look at the rambunctious group that had initially set off the lead camper while Aria bound into the snow to snatch up the fallen bills. Unfortunately for Lenore her bad luck with kids wasn't yet done. Before she could even properly scowl let alone tell them all to buzz off a snowball whipped by her shoulder. "Wh-" she gasped, stepping away from the projectile that had already safely flew by her. Her eyes snapped back to the group and saw a mixture of angry and mischievous faces. They were preparing more, and no doubt would begin the process of turning into an angry mob of shouts to defend their humiliated fellow. Lenore quickly reached into her jacket. Another snowball came as she fixed her coat tightly around her. This time actually managing to slap against her thigh and break into a cold powder. Her fingers clicked one of the balls in her arsenal and released her charmeleon companion. "You brats!" she shrieked angrily. The kids were becoming noisy, but the vision of Red's eyes squinting grumpily in their direction caused them to pause. "Throw another one of those and I'll make sure there ain't any snow in a ten-foot radius where your bodies once stood," she raged. Red growled, letting a lick of fire roll of her tongue as her tail flared brighter. And that was that. Lenore stormed off, passing by the still chipper eevee who padded along with the change Lizz had left gripped between her teeth. Once they were well away from the camp site Lenore stopped. She stomped a foot on the ground, "What a bunch of ingrates!" she fumed. "I'd teach every one of them a lesson if it didn't waste so much of my time. Just look at this day." Everyone's gaze rose to the sky, its light slowly dimming beneath a blanket of bland haze. "First the pokémon center now this." As she continued she brought up her pokégear and angrily plucked away at the controls. After a moment she let one of her party transfer to the PC in exchange for another. Aria waited patiently at her feet. Once the woman had slipped the new party member into her coat, the evolution pokémon put a paw on her leg and stood as high as she could. Lenore looked down at the light pressure and saw her fluffy pokémon holding her winnings from Lizz. They were a little wet, but the dancer accepted the cash gladly. "If I ever see that twit again..." she trailed off, crushing the bills further. Lenore took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, closing her eyes during the process. When she looked at Aria again she felt a bit more relaxed. A twitch of a smile crept on her face. "But you sure showed her hun! I'm so proud of you." Hands swept down to run vigorously through the thick warm fur of the normal type pokémon. It was short lived though, as the wet spots from rolling around in snow from battle weren't as well liked by the blond haired trainer. She stood back up and composed herself. She was done for the day. As much as she wanted to put Violet behind her, after today she wasn't too keen on spending time in a dank cave. She needed a drink. "Treats once we get back into town then, mmkay sugar?" The three of them started on back down Route 32 toward Violet.

Deep, rich rays of warm orange and yellow hues bask across the open skies. The branches of the treetops rustled in the bustling winds. The sounds of birds calling out to each other as they flew back to their nests to roost filled the air in sporadic bursts. Cicadas and the sounds of other chirping insects buzzed as a low hum as the night crawled over the scene and slowly cast is somber gaze upon the land. The moon crawled in its slow descent up into the open sky, decorated by the stars. Most of the Pokemon had already gone to their beds. The last of the brown feathered Pidgey flew overhead, only to duck off through the canopy of open tree branches and leaves and disappear to their nests. A furry purple and cream-colored prime ape swung through the branches. The furry purple monkey used his long presenile tail to propel himself forward. The Aipom would grip the mighty branches with the hand-like end of his tail and rock back and forth underneath the branches as if he were swinging, before the Aipom would launch himself forward. The furry purple prime ape wasn’t one for keeping his focus, however. With one mighty swing the Aipom launched itself into the air and through a very large and elaborate spider’s web. The small green arachnid with an oddly shaped pattern on its back that looked like a face started to squeak out noisily, obviously angry. The Aipom fell to the ground just shy of Lenore and her Eevee, surprised by the spider’s web and the sticky mess it had gotten itself into, as the Spinarak ran up the remains of its web, across the length of the branch, and chased after the Aipom. The Aipom began to swing at the small bug Pokemon with its tail, missing the Spinarak several times as it hopped about. Still angry, it kept squeaking and yelling at the other Pokemon. When the Aipom wouldn’t stop trying to knock the Spinarak out, the green bug Pokemon used its sticky string to wrap up the tail, causing the tail to stick to the ground with the Spinarak’s sticky string. Although the Aipom fought and struggled against this, it had gotten itself into quite the predicament. A wild Aipom [Level 10] and Wild Spinarak [Level 8] has appeared! They seem to be having quite the altercation not far from Lemore’s team. Will Lenore investigate and step in? Shiny Check: j6JNo1JN1-42 1-421-42·1-42

It was hard to notice much of the goings on around her. She didn't want to. Ignorance is bliss after all. Or so she would have liked to continue thinking. The gusts of wind helped mask any noisy movements through the trees, but despite her efforts to just enjoy the sounds of nature and view of the trees, they were dropped in on. The woman shrieked as a blur fell not two feet in front of her. She halted and turned to her side, lifting the closest leg to the projectile as if that would help shield her from it. Red snickered at her trainer's reaction as she stepped forward to investigate what had just fallen, her tail light providing a hint of light in the shadow of the trees. Aria just stood, blinking, at their new company. Her head cocking to the side with a dangerous curiosity. "What the hell is that?!" The dancer pointed at the ugly purple monkey. Of who had stood up and resumed its little kerfluffle with something else that was nearby. Before Lenore could make any comments about the mutated rattata her gaze was drawn higher with the spitting of webbing. Further shrieking ensued. The showgirl retreating back from the wild pokémon fighting with just an unimaginable look of disgust and fury. Red stepped back to be close to Lenore but remained between her and the two fighting. She snorted loudly, a trail of dark smoke slipping from her nostrils as she looked at Lenore from the corner of her eyes. The trainer caught the look and considered, a shiver spiking up her back as she gazed at the spider. She was about to point a finger and have Red get rid of the both of them in a blaze of fire but stopped herself partway, only a blip of noise rolling of her tongue. "Nno..." she quietly adjusted, her lips forming into a smirk. "Though if any of those terrible things come anywhere near me go ahead and roast them," finished the dancer as she dipped a hand into the base of her jacket and withdrew a ball. "There's someone else who could probably use a punching bag." Out popped Tess. Arms crossed and an angry glare at all around her. Sharp blood red eyes boring into any who dared to look back. Even Aria was a little put off, though the fluffy eevee didn't lose any cheer. "Alright girls." Lenore paused to make sure she had her pokémon's attention. "Tess, Aria... Get rid of those pests." That seemed to please the mawile just a little. Her massive jaws were already facing toward the wild pokémon, but her head turned just a little to glare deviously at the two. Aria on the other hand simply jumped happily into action, disappearing in a blur of tan toward the grounded Aipom.
