As they walked, the pidove watched her nest in Saury’s vines cautiously as she guided him. The tiny pigeon Pokemon had hoped that Wystan was able to retrieve her egg from the thief of a skitty. Letting out a relieved sigh as they arrived at the tree, the pidove happily answered that it wasn’t just her, but her partner was out fetching foods. “Oh, no, no, its not just me.” The pidove answered. “Their father is spending most of the day searching for food today. We take turns, you see. One day I’ll stay and guard the nest while he gets food, and then the next vice versa. Still is incredibly hard on those streets over there, but hopefully this is a safer place!” The pidove spoke of her tree. As Saury set the nest down in the tree, the avian mother was quite thrilled to have found the new spot, and was really glad that Saury had managed to carefully place the nest and her eggs in the tree. “This spot is great!” the pidove gave a beaming bright expression towards the ivysaur. Meanwhile below the tree, a curious fellow was hopping around. It was full of curiosity, and certainly didn't mean any harm. It hopped its way towards Saury, almost accidentally bumping into him. It looked up at the tree and then back at Saury, with a very quizzical expression. What were they doing? As the skitty slowly woke up held by Wystan, it was greatly confused for a moment as to what had happened. It definitely hadn’t expected to pass out so quickly previously. It was still quite weak upon waking up. The skitty thought over the beedrill’s questions before answering. “I’ve lost friends before, they left me for others.” The kitten said, starting to see why Wystan had been determined to get the egg back. “That is scary, I don’t want any harm! I just wanted to play with someone, I am so sorry…” The naive and youthful skitty looked as if it could cry. A wild and curious Sunkern (level 8) has appeared. What will Saury do? Saury smiled as Pidove told him that they were two looking after the eggs, but right now he concentrated on placing the nest securely in the tree, and as it was difficult to do from below he waited answering until the mother was pleased with it. He slowly let go if it, ready to grab it again should it begin to slide, but it stayed and he relaxed after a bit. "You are right, it is a nice place," said and looked at the green leaves waving in the mild breeze, this certainly looked to be a more healthy and natural place than the sign above the shop they had nested in before. The old place might have been more secure as skitty wouldn't be the only pokemon capable of climbing trees while very few could scale a vertical wall. Saury would knew nothing about such thing and just thought the tree looked to be a nicer place. "It's good you are not alone and I'm sure this will be a wonderful place to grow up!" Saury said and heard something behind him, and looked curiously at the tiny seed that had appeared. He was delighted with how many pokemon he got to interact with today, and how little battling he had to do, dared he hoped his life would change to the better? "Hello, who are you?" The ivysaur asked the newcomer kindly.
Aglaia made it to the tree unharmed, she paused in what she hoped was a safe distance as she was still worried the pidove would get aggressive again. If it had been so protective over the nest how wouldn't it react to her standing with one of its eggs?! "Saury?" Aglaia called timidly and the ivysaur excused himself to trot to his trainers side. Aglaia glanced at the nest and then handed the egg to her pokemon. Saury looked excited and gently took the egg and eagerly showed it to Pidove and asked if it was the missing one.
Aglaia fidgeted a bit and then took a closer look at the seedling that was sitting in the grass. She narrowed her eyes and slowly picked up her pokedex to look it up. "Saury?" She then called urgently and he excused himself once again with a sigh and returned to her, looking polite expectantly at her for the reason she interrupted him this time. "Look! That is a sunkern and it evolves into a sunflora," Aglaia said eagerly and showed him the pokedex. He glanced at it and kept looking at her with a patiently expression not getting what the deal was. "There are sunfloras all over where Astrid lives, it will be a perfect gift," Aglaia said and Saury suppressed a sigh, now it would come and she would ask him to attack the gentle pokemon. Aglaia was quiet for a few moments. "Can you ask it if it wants to join us for that?" She then asked hesitantly, could you even do that? Saury looked at her in shock and then nodded eagerly. Yes! He would help her anytime she wanted to do anything else than battling!
"Hey! I'm sorry I'm blunt but my human over there would really like of you joined us, or rather a sweet family member of hers," Saury told the sunkern eagerly and then hesitated a bit. "What could make you accept the offer?" He then added politely.

The small yellow and brown striped seedling found the perfect spot to sit and bathe in the sun. There was a small puddle not far from the small seed’s reached that it could easily reach when it bent over and stretched one of the long leaves atop its head towards the little puddle. This allowed the Seedling to stay in one spot so that it could conserve its energy. The tall blades of grass grey higher than the small Sunkern, as well, and shrouded it underneath the tall grass so that trainers who were passing by might miss the Pokemon entirely.
Battling wouldn’t interest such a plant, whose main focus was drawing in the sun and drinking up the fresh morning dew so that it could continue to grow and eventually develop into a vibrant and beautiful sunflower. Although a Sun Stone would be needed for the Sunkern to eventually reach this destination, you couldn’t stop natural progression and the seasons of change. Just like them, you couldn’t stop a young Sunkern from doing everything in its biology to drive its eventual progression into a sunflower.
Eyes prodded the little plant, causing it to squeak out in terror. It used its two broad leaves to pull and tug at the blades of grass. The Sunkern would wrap itself up in the long strands of the bright green grass, as if that would immediately hide the Pokemon so that the huge green frog-like plant Pokemon may not see the small seedling sheltering between the wild grass. “Pl-please please….go away!” It’s voice shook. When Saury disappeared, it relaxed its grip just enough so that a few strands of the grass slipped from between its leaves.
Then the trainer’s Pokemon appeared again?! Jeez, what was this? Trainers were always galivanting around the region without a care as to who – or what – they may trample over! Desperately, the Sunkern began to pull as the blades of grass. It yanked so hard that it actually began ripping out chunks of grass and piling the blades on top of itself. “I do not wish to battle! I only seek the sunlight. I know your lot – always battling and being thrown into fights. I need to become a mighty Sunflora!” It hissed from underneath its tent of fallen grass leaves.
It seemed like this might take some convincing from Saury and her team. What would convince a Sunkern who seemed dead set on not battling, and instead just soaking up the sun’s rays? Surely not the prospect of trainers who held no regard for the lives all around them. “Trainers are all the same!” It hissed. “Why should I believe yours is any different? She’ll just make me fight until I can no more. Then how will I become a beautiful Sonflora?” It seemed to wail and lament to Saury. Its voice was loaded with distrust and it guarded itself against huge green frog with the large pink flowering bulb on its back.

Saury flinched at the sunkerns fearful reaction and he instantly felt sad, he didn't want to attack it in any way but that was what most expected since he was a trainer's pokemon, and the first one of that even. That set up a lot of expectations to what he should do and take care of, which other pokemon were free off. Aglaia called out to him but the sunkern didn't look like it heard his apology, Saury feared his next "meeting" of it would be in a form of a tackle.
Not long after the ivysaur came trotting back in a bit of a daze with a stupid grin plastered on his face. Aglaia had asked him to talk with another pokemon! He paused though when he heard the sunkerns hissing and he looked sadly at it and doubted it was interested in Aglaia's offer. He tried it anyway and as he had suspected it refused. It put Saury in a dilemma, Aglaia sounded like she really wanted this and he was waiting for the moment when she lost her patience and ordered him to attack. He fully understood the seed, he too preferred not to battle and would love to spend the day in the sun, but he had to admit he really wanted Aglaia to succeed in this, to encourage her to not just order an attack every time they met a wild pokemon, as most trainers did.
Saury laid down in front of the seed to attempt to seem small. "Yeah, I know, that's what they usually do," the ivysaur agreed tiredly and was quiet for a few moments enjoying the sun. "She hasn't done that this time though, she didn't want me to battle you, just ask you if we could offer something you'd like," he pointed out and let that sink in before he continued. He pondered if he should tell it, she might chance her mind but decided against it, as it would just force it into agreeing or running away, and would only strengthen its view. "I can't prove anything else than that she hasn't done it now, and that I'm just enjoying the sun," he added casually and closed his eyes. "As for the one she wanted you to join, I can't give you any other proof than my word, which isn't much either since I don't know her much either. I know she is old, so I doubt she battles much, and I know her pokemon really like her. I don't know how they could help you evolve, but I know humans are usually really good at that," he continued and then paused to look curiously at the sunkern. "What do you need to evolve by the way?" He then asked.
Aglaia stood a bit in the distance and followed the interactions between Saury and the sunkern, she really hoped it would say yes and it would make Astrid happy. She didn't doubt that the sunkern would be happy with her grandmother, all the pokemon seemed to like her, and since she was retired she didn't need to use them all, so she could both offer to train them if they wanted, or to let them stay in her garden if they wished so. She had already found a quick ball, she couldn't imagine battling the pokemon now, not even if it attacked them, but she really wanted to get it, and she really wanted to get going soon. She glanced up in the tree at the pidove and then at the package under her arm, she had wasted enough time and really needed to get this delivered fast!
Wystan had spent quite some time listening to the skitty and even longer trying to figure out what to say. "Yes, she was really scared something had happened to it," He said gently and put the skitty down on the ground. "Perhaps play with other without taking and definitely hiding their stuff?" Wystan suggested and then bend forward to be closer to the skitty. "Do you have friends now?" He asked kindly.

The yellow seedling studied the large frog-like plant Pokemon with its bright pink seed atop its back. As Saury commented that most trainers were apt to battle and fight Pokemon against each other, the Sunkern’s leaves seemed to bristle in response. It narrowed its gaze sharply and leaped up to tap the Ivysaur with both of its leaves – not as an attack so much as a prod to shove the Ivysaur gently away and get it to leave. “That is exactly what I mean. All Trainers-“ It stopped in the middle of its interruption, however, when Ivysaur settled down in the grass and started to speak on its trainer’s behalf. The tiny seedling glanced over to Aglaia and observed the long brunette-haired lady cautiously as it began to nod its head slowly. “Why would a trainer offer me something I’d like?” The words were slow and carefully planned out. The Pidove stretched out her small grey wings and flew down to land on the other side of the Sunkern. “They are good people!” She persuaded. The Sunkern hopped in place as the Pidove spooked it! It started to plop off but stopped after two jumps away from its original spot and turned around. “I…I do need a Sun Stone…” The words were even more cautious, and it spoke slowly as it stretched out the syllables to its namesake. “They found my missing egg!” The Pidove continued, showering praises upon Aglaia and her team. “I’m sure they can find a Sun Stone!”The Sunkern hop-skipped back to the Ivysaur nervously. It slowly began to nod its head and it pointed one lonesome leaf towards Aglaia. Hopefully the seedling Pokemon wouldn’t end up regretting this decision. “Ok. If you’re sure she can help, I’ll join your team….” It was evident in the Sunkern’s words that it wasn’t so sure of its offer. Should Aglaia hesitate or should the Ivysaur make the wrong move within these critical moments, the Sunkern might rescind the offer altogether. A glance towards the Pidove and back to the Ivysaur, and a second to reflect on their words currently had the Pokemon at ease, however. The Skitty moved a bit nervously in Wystan’s stingers as it glanced up towards the impressive Beedrill. A shy grin covered its maw and the pink cat Pokemon glanced to the ground below. “You’re right, and I’m so sorry…” It apologized, now trying to wriggle free. Though Wystan wouldn’t hold onto the pink cat Pokemon for long, as he placed it on the ground. “I promise I won’t disturb any nests again! I’ll find safer ways to play with others.” The Skitty gave Wystan her solemn vow, before it would try to scamper off through the grass. Sunkern [Level 8] is tentatively offering to join Aglaia’s (Astrid’s) team! What will Aglaia choose to do? Capture it now, while she has the chance?

Saury closed his eyes half to avoid the "attack" from the sunkern but otherwise ignored it and settled beside it in the grass. He was willing to go far to avoid a battle here, both for its sake, as he was certain it stood no chance against the pokemon Aglaia had with her for now, but also for his own egoistic reasons as he wanted Aglaia to give him more encounters which was not battles and this might be his way to get there. The ivysaur wasn't surprised when the sunkern asked him why the humans would help it and he thought of it for a bit. The pidove decided to give her opinion which luckily was in their favor and he send a warm smile as thanks. "I think many trainers gather pokemon around them like a family, and then do their best to take care of them," Saury said thoughtfully, "It was not long since we all were in an exploring some ruins and helped each other finding the way out, since some other pokemon gave us problems," he added. That trip with Aglaia's human friend Dorthea and all the pokemon had certainly felt like they were a family, he had had more time chatting with other pokemon recently and then he could survive a battle here and there.
The conversation continued and Saury looked puzzled when the seed said it needed some kind of stone. He maybe had heard of that at some point but he had no idea what it looked like or where to find it, so he was pleased he didn't have to promise he would make sure they found it. The pidove chose once more to back him up and Saury almost felt ashamed like he was tricking the sunkern into something, even though he just argumentet for his case. "I don't know where to find such stone, but I have heard of them. Humans are really good at finding such things, and they are really good at sharing them with each other, so if you need something like that I'm certain they will find it for you," Saury said reassuringly and felt better. That had to be the truth as Saury had yet to hear about a trainer who didn't want to evolve their pokemon, he just hoped that Astrid would accept its wish to not battle. He doubted Aglaia would, but she wasn't planning on keeping it anyway.
When the sunkern surprisingly accepted Saury inhaled and tensed even though he send it a kind smile. The ivysaur turned his head and nodded to Aglaia who was still waiting, she looked questioningly at him and he gestured her over with one of his vines. "She'll come over and offer your a pokeball," Saury explained to the sunkern and really, really hoped that was what Aglaia was going to do. The girl came over uncertainly with a pokeball in hand and hesitated a few steps away, looking between the two pokemon as she tried to read the situation. She held the pokeball forward but then suddenly didn't dare to step any closer and there was no way she could reach the sunkern from where she stood, she fidgeted and then bend and rolled the pokeball gently towards the seed pokemon.

The sunkern, still antsy about trusting this random ivysaur and his trainer, watched in slow motion as the ball came rolling towards it. But it didn't move. There was something... just something in its gut that said it would be okay. The closer the electrically colored ball got the louder something else got..? " no No no No NO no No NO!" Hairs before the quick ball would have connected with the wild seed another, more plain jane of balls, came firing off the side and slammed into it; knocking it clear away to roll off by Saury. Just as suddenly a flare of light brought to life new company into their midst: a wooper. "Woopah!" he cheered, tail flapping side to side a couple times after it hopped into the air. The sunkern screamed for just a second before dashing off behind the tree the wild pidove was perched in. "YES!" came the boyish voice from before. "What a pitch! Just in time." A spry kid came skidding to a halt, ball glove encasing his left hand. Of which he had thrown skyward in triumph of his fortuitous throw, but after his dust settled he dropped it to point at Aglaia. "I've been looking all day for one of these sunkern. I challenge you to a battle to see who gets to capture it, since it doesn't want to fight you it seems. A nice little flower like that will be the perfect gift for Mother's Day so I'm not going to go easy!" He spoke strongly, but couldn't help but take note of the ivysaur in his presence just after he'd said his piece. An expression crept upon his visage that suddenly made him seem less sure of himself, but he quickly tried to psych himself up again. "Right Patty?" The wooper slapped the ground with his tail. A sprightly whippersnapper got in the way! He sent out his Wooper (Lv 10)! Weather = Water Sport

Aglaia held her breath as the pokeball rolled towards the sunkern and it didn't move. Was it really going to accept? Was it going to be this easy? Of course not all pokemon would accept just by being asked but the thought that it could be possible hadn't occurred to her before, it wasn't a thing that was talked much about and she had very rarely stumbled across anything on her searches when she was preparing for a task. Of course she had seen the few articles and blogs where people argumentet for leaving pokemon alone and not being trainers but she had avoided most of them, since it was a debate she wasn't ready or willing to take. It opened up for new possibilities and ways to be trainer, and made it harder to follow her grandfather's demands and tasks, she had to find a solution for that.
Aglaia jumped startled when someone shouted and then her pokeball got knocked out of its course and into Saury instead. She frowned and turned to see where it had come from, and her annoyance grew as she spotted the boy and his cheering of his interfering. This was rude! It was a bit too late for him to claim he had a right to try catch the pokemon, and apparently he thought that you only claimed one by battling it first. She looked at his pokemon and then looked it up on her pokedex, water and ground and with how strong her pokemon had been lately she doubted it would cause her any trouble. Usually she wouldn't like to do such thing, especially not to a kid but she was annoyed and kept getting delayed in her attempt to deliver the package she was still carrying around. Perhaps it could teach him a lesson. She glanced at Saury and was pleased to see him standing and looking ready to battle, that wasn't often it happened.
"And what makes you think you have the right to claim that? What would you say if anyone came and interrupted your attempts just because they felt like it?" Aglaia asked the boy and placed her hands on her hips, glaring him down. She had dropped her usual polite demeanor and Dorthea would probably have been quite surprised to see Aglaia like this. "I didn't want to battle this one as it was scared and tried to befriend it instead," Aglaia said irritated, "I hope you haven't destroyed all the hard work Saury has done." She took a deep breath to calm herself, this wasn't doing any good.
"Your logic is flawed, both in your reason for why you think you can interrupt, but also for the battle," Aglaia said more calmly and then gestured to her ivysaur. "Are you sure you want to battle? You are at a quite disadvantage here," she added although she doubted that would discourage him, he had already seen Saury and had still decided to challenge her. The moment he accepted she turned to Sauru and said quietly: "Go easy on them and use a couple of Tackles, I don't want to risk your razor leaf at them."
Saury had jolted when the pokeball had hit his side and as the sunkern screamed he jumped to his feet and placed himself between the newcomer and the seed. It was first when Aglaia talked he realized he had instinctively been ready to protect the wild grass type but had't thought a second of his trainer, and he felt embarrassed. Especially since she kept surprising him today, first she tried to befriend the sunkern instead of battling it, and now she asked him to be gentle to their opponents, even though he would never refuse to do as she ordered him, he really wanted to keep her on this path she was on at the moment. The ivysaur didn't hesitate when he had been given his orders and raced at the wooper with a lowered head to give it a good tackle, only to turn around and try again after the first one.
Wystan had came rushing over when he had heard the commotion but slowed down when it didn't look to be of any real danger. He spotted the quick ball and went to collect it, he had become pretty good at picking up things with his stingers, and landed beside Aglaia to watch.

Huge puddles formed on the ground in splotches from the flooding. The previous winter months coupled by the progressively warming weather caused most of the old snowy patches to melt away, and what wasn’t immediately absorbed into the ground formed puddles on the ground. The trainer’s amphibious Pokemon seemed delighted in the weather, hopping about from one puddle to the other as it kicked up the muddied water with its feet. It shook its head back and forth and watched the small yellow seedling with determination, only to turned to its owner with a questioning look. They were battling something else entirely? “Listen, you don’t wanna battle it…” The young trainer gestured towards the Sunkern who slunk farther away in the grass to try and hide itself. It was clear that the boy scared it. “And my mother loves flowers! What’s better than a flower Pokemon?!” He snapped his fingers towards Patty. The blue amphibian began hop-skipping towards in an odd little waggle of a run. “Woop woop wooper perrr!” It cheered and droned on as it hopped up beside its trainer, ready for his command. But this long-haired brunette carried on about how she was trying to befriend the Pokemon instead. It snorted and laughed at her shaking his head. The spritely young boy pointed dramatically towards the clump of tall green grass and thicket of weeds that the little seed Pokemon was currently trying to hide underneath. “Look at the Pokemon. You think what you’re doing is helping? They don’t understand all this ‘friendship’ stuff. You gotta battle ‘em and capture ‘em first. Then you can train ‘em, miss.” He tried to explain to her. Wasn’t she much holder than the kid? Shouldn’t she already know this? “Wooper, use Mud Shot!” He instructed. The large green frog-like plant Pokemon rushed forward on its four legs. Saury was much faster than the young amphibious Pokemon and easily knocked the Wooper backwards. It cried out and rolled across the ground, wriggling back and forth until it was able to hop back up on its feet. “That was a cheap shot, miss!” The young boy huffed and puffed, annoyed at how strong her Ivysaur’s tackle was. The blue Wooper gathered up the muddy water in its mouth and began spit-firing rounds of the mud at Saury, nailing the grass type Pokemon in its side near its hind leg. Saury didn’t miss a beat, however, and rushed forward with a final Tackle. This time the Wooper remained with her face planted firmly in the ground, unable to move or get up after such a strong attack. The young boy recalled his Pokemon into its Pokeball and began rubbing his eyes with his arms. “I would win too, if I only relied on cheap shots!” He pouted, before turning away to storm off. “I guess I’ll find another Pokemon!” And off he disappeared, just as fast as he had appeared. The Sunkern shook nervously and pushed a single blade out of the way. It shivered and glanced at Aglaia and Saury, who had fought so bravely to defend it. They kept their word through it all! Suddenly, the Pidove’s words and Saury’s words echoed inside of the wild Sunkern’s thoughts. “You really didn’t make me fight….” It cried out, thankfully. “I would be more than happy to join you!” What good people and Pokemon they were, able to do everything in their power to remain true to their word! "So? How does that give you the right to it?" Aglaia repeated when the boy pointed out that she hadn't initiated a battle with the sunkern. She could understand an argument of who encountered a pokemon first and then who had the right to try out to catch it, but she had been interacting with it for some time, or rather Saury had. He was way too late in her opinion, regardless of she had been battling it or not. Aglaia gaped when she heard the boy declaring that pokemon didn't understood friendships, she would have suspected to hear that from one of the ambitious trainers or a Team Rocket guy but a kid? Didn't they usually get pokemon as playmates and spend all day playing with them? "Aren't you friends with yours?" She asked a bit confused and held a hand out as Wystan buzzed angrily with his wings, and she wanted to be sure he stayed back. She hadn't tried to become friends with a wild pokemon before, although she had helped one here and there, but she was friend with at least some of her own, and several of hers were certainly friends with each other. The boy sounded like he had been raised by one of the real ambitious trainer kinds, or be looking up to some of them. There was no law against it, and nothing that said pokemon was treated badly with such a trainer, Aglaia just found it weird to hear from a child. Aglaia turned professional when the battle started, this would be over soon. She raised an eyebrow when he called her out for cheating. "You know what you stepped into, I have you a second chance to withdraw your challenge and even asked Saury to refrain from using his Razor Leaf, what else would you have I should do?" She asked politely and looked like she was really interested in hearing the boy's answer, and she doubted he had any. When his wooper had been defeated and the kid retreated with another call out to her, Aglaia exhaled and relaxed. She looked around to see where the seed had disappeared to, and realized that Saury had already turned to it. She smiled and waited until the sunkern approached her, then she would find another pokeball, a standard one and offer it to the seed. "Of course not!" The ivysaur said cheerfully and carefully weighted his words before he continued, "if you only have met trainers like that kid, I can understand why you thought we would, he was really rude."Saury was quiet for a few moments and then added quietly, "I feel sorry for his pokemon though."A buzz from Wystan pulled Saury out of his thoughts and he glanced back at the two others waiting. "Oh right! If you want to join then go to the human and she will offer you a pokeball," Saury encouraged the sunkern. Wystan would watch curiously but since they were handling it well he stayed silent. When Aglaia wasn't occupied with the sunkern anymore, Wystan would hand her back her quick ball which she would accept with a surprised look. She had forgotten all about it. Wordcount: 534 (ooc: offering sunkern a pokeball, haven't updated it yet) Note: Caramell 🍬, about money, I'd usually with some sort of average for the area, and depending on the challenge make it in the higher or lower area of that. During the intense battle the old lady had asked the young challenger a question that puzzled him and made him glance down at his Wooper. He watched the way his Pokemon moved on soggy wet ground and skiddy across the large puddles of the flooded region and scrunched up his face as he thought about her question. A memory flooded his mind of when he was given the Wooper by his dad, who instructed him that it wasn’t as tame as the Pokemon on his family’s ranch. “You’ll have to go out there and train this Wooper to trust you.” How did this old lady get to be so incredibly old and wrinkly and dumb instead of wise? Really? “You TEACH them friendship, duh!” He had commented in the middle of the fray. “We’re friends because I tamed him!”But that was during the battle. Now, the young lady dressed in a bright red T-shirt and semi-dark blue shorts with his blue baseball cap was already high tailed down the route and had nearly completely vanished. She was so mean – super ancient, like the mausoleum ancient and probably remembered what it was like when Aerodactyl roamed the earth – but she had gained nothing in all her years. Well, kids sometimes think they know everything, when they don’t, as they say! Meanwhile, the Sunkern nodded along as Saury spoke. The big green grass type with the large pink flowering bulb was so kind. He spoke gently and seemed to understand the wild seedling’s deep inner worries and thoughts. “That’s all I’ve ever known.” It agreed with a shudder. Sunkern hopped a few steps towards Aglaia, then stopped and glanced back to Saury. “I hid most of the time and watched kid after kid beat up all my friends. I hope they’re all safe and sound.” A tiny tear threatened to fall from a corner of the Sunkern’s eyes. Then it would continue hopping over to Aglaia and reach up with its leaves as though it were a small child asking to be picked up. It dropped a few weird dollars it had collected at her feet. The Sunkern had no use for human currency, it had only noticed the weird dollars float out of the boy’s Pocket and fall to the ground. When Aglaia offered the ball, the Sunkern would only murmur, “please don’t be a trick,” and pressed the button in the center of the red-and-white spherical device. After three long wriggles, a final resounding ding would ring on the open air, declaring a successful capture. You caught Sunkern! Please fill this out and tell us where you want it place it where you see fit, lol! Aglaia would have been quite offended if she had known that boy saw her as old and wrinkly, she was only 22! She might not be the most interesting and pretty girl to look at but she certainly didn't have any wrinkles! She would have been baffled and wondered if he somehow mistook her for her grandmother, if he thought of her as old as he did. She had frowned when he had shouted he was friend with his pokemon because he had tamed it, but she didn't argue with him. It was not her task to educate him so she wouldn't even try and she was relieved to see him go.
Aglaia turned her attention to the sunkern who approached her instead, and she kept her nervousness under control as she bend down and offered the pokeball, which was accepted. She exhaled when the pokeball confirmed the capture and picked up the cash it had dropped wondering where it had gotten it from. She pocketed it all and stretched her back. "Thank you, " she said kindly to Saury who smiled.
"Alight! I need to get this package delivered!" Aglaia said determined to not let anything else slow her down. They hurried down to Sunset Circle and Aglaia eagerly entered Jasmine Street and quickly found number 14 and ringed the bell. Aglaia stood with a polite smile when a middle aged man opened the door and looked a bit suspiciously at her. "Mr. Schmidt?" She asked and he nodded slowly. "I have a package to deliver to you and I'm sorry I am late," she explained and held out the small box. Mr. Schmidt's face lightened up and he thanked her and began to open it right there in the door. Aglaia hesitated for a moment but then turned around and walked down the street.
"Miss! Wait, miss?!" Mr. Schmidt called out and Aglaia turned around worried she had made a mistake. He gestured her over and she returned to him. "Are you a trainer who takes jobs to earn a bit of money and if so, can I hire you for a little task" He asked and Aglaia looked baffled at him. "I, I don't usually do that and this was mostly because Nurse Joy asked for help, but I might be able to help anyway, what is the task?" Aglaia asked, a job was a job and she did need to try out different aspects to figure out what she wanted. Granted she dreamed about getting a physical shop and not running around and catching pokemon for them or deliver stuff, but perhaps it could be a start or a way to earn some money to start up for real. Mr. Schmidt showed her a picture with different familiar looking but still different pokemon. "I have a niece who has just gotten old enough to learn about the difference of pokemon and regions and she really want one of the kind we have here," he explained and rubbed the back of his neck, "I'd love to give her one but I'm no trainer so I hoped I might could pay you to find one for me? I know two of them lives here in the city, I have seen them myself." "I can take a look, I don't have anything else planned. I can't promise anything though, do you have a deadline?" Aglaia asked calmly and he preferred it to be within a week or so, or else his niece would have forgotten about it again.
Later Aglaia was sitting on a bench and looking the pokemon up on her pokedex. "Hmm, so one like round objects and the other is good at finding objects," Aglaia said out loud and looked around there were little pokemon available in these areas. "I wonder where they live or if I can lure some to me," she mumbled and looked around and then at Wystan. "Could you fly up and see if there are some of them around or a good place they might be?" she asked and watched as he flew up over the rooftops to take a look around.
Wordcount: 690 (Sunkern moved to Lei's box, 1 pokeball deducted from the capture, and asked for the money to get handled since I can't do my own)

Despite the dust storm that had been raging, it had mostly been an otherwise peaceful day in Cherrygrove City. Humans and pokemon alike were quietly minding their own business, completely fixated on the tasks they had at hand for the day. A young girl had been carrying her gold coins as she innocently made her way from her home nearby to the Pokemart to purchase some lollies. Aglaia had been resting on a bench nearby doing some research into the pokemon that Mr. Schmidt had been seeking to show to his niece to explain firsthand the difference of pokemon and regions. The young girl nearby yelled out a cry for help as the sound resonated to those within earshot and the sheer amount of concern that could be heard emanating from her cry for help was rather concerning,
"Somebody, please help me!"
At the scene of the crime was a troublesome trio of Meowth's, two of the feline's of kantonian origin stood either side of an alolan variant, the middle one held a confident looking pose, it appeared to be the leader of the trouble-making feline's. The alolan Meowth's fur was a light blue-gray color, as the tip of its tail, whiskers, digits, and the insides of its ears were a whitish-gray color. The alolan Meowth's whiskers appeared to have a slight upward curve in comparison to its kantonian variant whose whiskers were straighter, the other resounding difference was its silvery, mischievous looking eyes. A closer glance upon the scene would display that the two kantonian Meowth's had the young girl's coins in their paws, obviously they had stolen them from her and prompted her worried response. Tears could be seen flowing down the young girls face, she was clearly emotional as to the events that had just taken place.

Aglaia quickly regretted to sit down outside on a bench as soon the weather turned to worse. The city was dry and the wind that arrived lifted all the dust and flung it around, and straight at Aglaia's face, even though she did her best to shield it while she looked at her pokedex. She sent off Wystan anyway and tried to look around for a more sheltered place to wait, while debating if she should call it a day and wait it out at the Pokemon Center. A part of her stubbornly refused though, this was a job she had taken even though she hadn't promised to succeed, and a job you couldn't just give up due to a bit of bad weather. If you did that, nothing would ever be done. A cry for help reached Aglaia and she stood up trying to see where it come from without getting too much sand in her eyes. She could see three figures come running towards her and her eyes widened, that was one of the pokemon she had been asked to catch! Wystan was in hot pursuit of the felines and behind him Aglaia could spot a young girl. Aglaia trusted her beloved beedrill's decision that stopping the meowths were the right thing to do. Tondra was a fast pokemon, she should be able to catch up so Aglaia let her out. The blitzle snorted irritated at the sand getting in her nostrils but was quick to take in the situation. "Tondra, I need you to help Wystan and.. oh, never mind then," Aglaia trailed off as Tondra thundered after the meowths and tried to intercept them before they got too far. Aglaia looked around but Saury was out of sight (he was hiding behind the bench in the hope of avoiding getting thrown into battle, and feeling terribly guilty about it), but she would prefer to even the numbers. Wystan and Tondra was strong, they would probably do fine but the felines might end up ganging up on one of her pokemon and she didn't like the thought of that. The only other pokemon she had was an audino given to her by her grandmother Astrid, but she didn't really have much choice and she let the unknown pokemon out. The audino made a wining sound and turned her back towards the wind to avoid the worst of the sand. "I'm sorry Thyra, I don't have much time for introductions do you think you can help Wystan and Tondra with the meowths? I think they have made some trouble and we need to stop them," Aglaia explained and pointed, Thyra looked and her eyes shone as she realized she was in for a battle. She grinned to Aglaia and spun around to catch up with the others, she was far behind and wouldn't be able to get into close combat this round. "You can do it flying yellow thing! Just a bit more and you got it! You are almost there!" she called encouragingly to Wystan who managed to find some hidden strength to speed up a little bit. Aglaia glanced around nervously, worried Saury had disappeared but got distracted when the girl came closer and she hurried to her side to hear what was going on. The moment Aglaia left the bench, Saury trotted out from behind and followed her, pleased to have avoided another battle. "Are you alright? What happened?" Aglaia asked the girl worried. Wordcount: 579 (Wystan to the left using Pursuit on the left meowth, Audino in the middle using Helping Hand on Wystan, Tondra to the right, using Shock Wave on the middle meowth.) NOTE: Aglaia doesn't have the trial amulet so she can't meet alolan pokemon, I'm assuming this one turns out to just be really dirty

The young girl was filled with terror as she tried to work up the courage to explain to Aglaia what had happened. " I was on my way to the Pokemart to buy some lollies when this trio of Meowth snatched my gold coins and they won't give them back. The strange looking one in the middle seems to be their leader and she is really mean. I think I saw a collar on her a moment ago but I am not sure." As the young girl started to cry her eyes out the trio of Meowth could see Aglaia's Pokemon lining up and knew a fight was gong to break out. The Alolan Meowth was no slouch as it had undergone a bit of training and knew it had to act as soon as Thyra used her Helping Hand Attack to try and boost Tondra's power. The feisty feline rushed towards the electric type and faked a left paw swipe before slashing him with her right paw. As she did however the collar the young girl had seen earlier fell from beneath her arm and landed right in front of Tondra. Though the attack caused him to flinch it at least confirmed this Alolan Meowth had an owner so catching it wasn't an option. " Oh it was wearing a collar, I wonder who it belongs to. Maybe if we bring it back to it's owner they will give us an award?" The young girl said trying to make herself feel better after the awful start to her day. Wystan was the next to make a move as he unleashed a powerful Pursuit on the left most Meowth dealing such a powerful blow that the feline was knocked out before it had any chance to strike. The other Kanto Meowth was quite scared of facing the same fate as it rushed towards Thyra and delivered a rather weak scratch. With all of the attacks over the merciless sandstorm also took it's toll on all of the involved Pokemon sapping a small amount of health from each of them. Now outnumbered and seemingly outmatched even the confident Alolan Meowth felt like it might have picked a very bad fight as another round was only moments away. Weather: SandstormMeowth | LV 8 | HP: 88% (23/26) Status: Normal Used Scratch on Thyra! Alolan Meowth ♀ | LV 10 | HP: 87% (27/31) Status: Normal Used Fake Out on Tondra! Meowth | LV 8 | HP: 0% (0/26) Status: KO'ed Used KO'ed ! VS Wystan ♀ | LV 19 | Swarm HP: 88% (52/59) Status: Normal Used Pursuit on left Meowth! Thyra ♂ | LV 12 | Healer HP: 82% (41/50) Status: Normal Used Helping Hand on Tondra! Tondra ♀ | LV 18 | Lightning Rod HP: 78% (38/49) Status: Normal Flinched!
Sandstorm caused 4 damage to Alolan Meowth, 3 damage to Meowth, 7 damage to Wystan, 6 damage to Thyra, and 6 damage to Tondra OOC: Lamont had no issues with it being an Alolan one as long as it cannot be captured so I hinted at it having a trainer. I don't have a longterm plan for this yet but just for future mods to note Alolan Meowth cannot be captured under any circumstance in this battle.
