Randi got more respect from Mikasi for being able to growl at a time like this. Admittedly it sounded pain filled butit was still bold. The notion occurred to Mikasi he could tell Onix to do something else also. However the options didn't really fit in his mind. Why protect himself more in a setting he was clearly winning? Best thing to do was keep the push on. "Tackle - I bet one more strike will have Randi out cold Rocko." Oh, look Mikasi finally remembered to use the giant rocks name. It was harder to remember a name you didn't come up with. Maybe now that he saw how great Onix was that would change.
"I haven't been to the mountains. I met someone who porbably had been in the mountains though. It was just a simple trade, and I'd say I got a great deal. This guy definitly beats a pokemon who just wants to jump in mud puddles." Admittedly Rocko had plenty of mud on him, at least the lower portion that was on the ground. Still, he wasn't playing in it at least.
"Onnn...." the deep rumble in its throat on hearing Randi's growl. Certainly its not the noise you expect to hear from someone trapped in his rocky grasp. Without eyebrows it could be an unnerving thing when the Onix eyes focused its attention on someone. Mikasi certainly had a feeling he wouldn't want to stare it down. Honestly he couldn't be as brave as little Randi was. Thinking of Randi was going the wrong direction, Mikasi was trying to puzzle out Onix thoughts.
Was he just watching Randi as its victim, or was it trying to assess Randi the same Mikasi was trying to figure out Rocko.
"Doing good Rocko."
