I'm glad to see these rules have been revamped slightly. I also feel like Amalia and I were guinea pigs in that group role play battle we had. ;D ...It dragged on and on so it's nice to see there's now a set guideline in place.
Good job on the updates, Oak!

More rules have been added including the correct way of treating switch-outs, healing with items, etc.
Another important addition is that the character creation rules have been changed so that people are now limited to a maximum of 2 characters (additional characters need to apply with me) and creating a second character can only occur once their first character has obtained the Zephyr Badge.
This is to relieve some of the pressure from Moderators. However, please be aware that these changes do not apply to characters that have already been created, meaning that you can continue to use them. Thanks for reading!

Please note that the price of constructing a residence has risen to 20,000 Pokedollars due to immense popularity. It may rise even more in the future due to inflation. =P
It's pretty important so I guess it justifies my double post. Staff are of course exempt from this fee.

Another update on the rules guys. It's a pretty significant one but I'm not sure who bothers reading this thread at all. The encounter rate of shiny Pokemon is 1 in 16 BUT only Administrators (me, andrew + phoenix) can distribute them. It's a necessary rule I think to avoid conflicts of interest for most people. Thanks for reading this.

Thanks for reading this. Just a quick clarification, does this mean that RPers will only receive a shiny if you and other administration are interacting with the RPer? Or can normal staff role for the shiny Pokemon but you, Andrew and Phoenix have to verify it? Either way, not too fussed with the rule. Shiny Pokemon are just recolours in my opinion. They're not too overly amazing. It's just nice when you do get them. One thing I noticed though, quite a few RPers had encountered shiny Pokemon in the last few days. Lady Luck must be a-smiling. ;D

We're thinking of a solution to this.

Hm... Only thing I can suggest without going back on what you said is perhaps keeping tabs on all new wild encountered Pokemon by RPers and admins just intercept posts with Pokemon that could be shiny and then give them the option to have it in shiny form if they want it or not. Problem with that is obvious though. It'll just seem like a huge continuity error if one minute its a normal coloured Pokemon and all of a sudden shiny.

We've pretty much sorted out something with the Shiny rule. It's pretty much 1 in 16 chance occuring only if an admin is modding. However, there are 2 additional rules to ensure fair opportunity for all but they won't be announced for the time being. Depending on how it goes, the rule may be altered over time.

Sorry, just edited it to '1 in 16', you'd written '1 in 6'. Just wanted to clarify that.

I am glad to see the updates even if they are fairly minor. I myself would like to see trading with NPCs at one point like in HG/SS and all the other games as a future update.

There is a trading feature that Phoenix has implemented into the forums that can be found in the Cherrygrove board. I think it's entitled 'This week's trading' or something similar. Although it says a week, I think Phoe is planning to update it monthly. I'd keep your eyes peeled too, some good Pokemon to be found there.
