As Vör pointed out the approaching figure a trainer rushed by holding a Pokeball in his hands speaking in a sad tone." Hold on Ponyta I will get you to a Pokemon Center, that creature seemed immortal to your fire attacks." The unexpected event left Marchbaby feeling a little bit more uneasy as after he just dealt with a rocket captain he could not shake the feeling that things would get worse. Though it was creepy Marchbaby and his Pokemon continued on towards Ecruteak hoping it would be a one off event.
Moments later however Vör picked up on another figure and before she could even say anything another trainer came rushing by clinching one of their Pokeball's nearly crying their eyes out as they talked to the ball. " Oh poor Pidgey, that strange Pokemon resisted your beak with ease, that thing is a menace to society and innocent Pokemon." As that trainer disappeared as well Marchbaby really started to doubt his string of bad luck was over and even Vör could not shake the feeling that things were not going to be pleasant. " Goodness two different types of Pokemon being defeated that quickly? Whatever Pokemon that is sounds like it is causing a lot of trouble."
As if the two trainers rushing by and the dust storm, and the massive full moon were not creepy enough a bush nearby started to shake and Vör pointed her paw towards it ready to fire an Aura Sphere at it until Marchbaby intervened. " Hold on a second Vör, the last thing we want to do is hurt an innocent Pokemon or human with that dangerous Pokemon going around." The mangled trees and fences around the bush only made him more cautious as the last thing he wanted was to add to any unnecessary destruction. Instead of attacking Marchbaby called out hoping whatever or whoever it was would be friendly and not be looking for a fight.
" Come on out we mean no harm, we have already heard about a strange Pokemon around these parts and are looking to help in any way we can." Though Vör was against picking a fight without reason as well she started to build up an Aura Sphere in her right paw just in case she needed to use it. After everything that had happened so far she was not about to take her chances and Shocker felt the same way as it started to build up it's electricity. Marchbaby had not even noticed his two Pokemon getting ready to attack and the glow of the Aura Sphere would likely be quite intimidating to any onlooker.

It took a moment, but eventually the individual had collected themselves enough to step out into the open. It was an older man. Some sort of rancher from the looks of his dirty coveralls and well used handkerchief sticking out of the chest pocket. Beside him was a long striped pokémon. She was trying to hide her fear of the fighter's aura, but the furret was sticking awfully closer to her trainer's legs. It almost caused him problems as he cleared the bush line and nearly tripped over the weaving normal type. "Heard about it ey?" he grumbled suspiciously. The man eyed Marchbaby up and down whilst chewing on a bit of curated bark. "You don't look like one of those hooligans trampling about the fence line... But you don't have the look of a usual trainer neither. What do you think Furret?" He didn't drop his gaze from the formidable group before him. His pokémon whirled herself one more time around his legs before finally stepping away and chirping her name hesitantly. "Right, well..." He seemed to start talking again just simply to be making noise while he considered. "I've had plenty of helpers try and fail and I don't want no more little ones throwing themselves to this monster. If you wanna help then you ain't gettin' no further till you pass a quick test, alright?" Rancher Bernie is challenging Marchbaby! Who will he send out to fight?

Marchbaby was not expecting both a human and Pokemon to come out of the bush especially when the Pokemon was not one suited for a Sandstorm though the way the man was dressed he had no doubt that a farmer would be able to raise his Pokemon well enough to endure bad weather such as this for at least a short amount of time. The confidence the man had only reenforced his thought that this Current had been well trained though he still could not help but wonder just how long the two had been out in the bad weather waiting for a worthy enough trainer to come and help.
" I think I saw a few of them run by as I made my way here. I have no doubt that whatever monster is causing your trouble is powerful however I assure you as a dragon tamer apprentice from Blackthorn City I can handle it. Even so if I must prove my strength in battle I shall." Without even saying a word Vör stepped forward still maintaining the built up aura just in case she had to use it. As the Battle was imminent now she was glad it would not go to waste as she took aim at the Furret.
As she did Marchbaby look over at Bernie and smiled at the chance to prove his strength. The weather was perfect for a steel type such as Vör and along with her type advantage he was going to try and make this show of force a rather quick one as well. Before he could order the attack however Vör started to size up her opponent trying to guess what the normal type might try first. " My opponent certainly looks like it might be kind of fast but I do wonder just how fast it is? It might also have a trick or two up it's sleeve and I don't want to find out what it might have planned."
Marchbaby having heard her detailed analysis of the Furret decided to use Aura Sphere as quickly as he could so that their for would have little chance to react. " Vör let's get this show started with a bang, your best attack in this situation is not a secret anymore anyway but even without the shock.value it will has the power to deal quite a bit of damage. Use Aura Sphere." With the attack ordered Vör got ready to fire off the attack as Marchbaby and Shocker eagerly awaited the results of her efforts.

The young dark-blue haired teenager who couldn’t have been any older than nineteen or twenty seemed very determined. The old Rancher had to give Marchbaby credit in his determination to prove himself. Though, as the older gentleman began to think to himself and scratch underneath his chin with a free hand idly, he had to ponder and question how far this young man’s determination would take him. His long, slink partner ran about in circles, before she raised herself up on her hind legs. Her eyes narrowed down on her opponent, Vör, as she sized him up for a moment’s notice. Bernie seemed to ponder over his Pokemon’s list of moves to himself quietly, while Marchbaby and his blue bipedal dog-like fighter had planned their best attack almost instantly. The long cream colored ferret with bands of rich brown stripes ran over to Vor and frisked the other Pokemon until she was able to identify the strange black belt item on her opponent. She would rush back over with a shudder and pull desperately at her trainer’s legs. With one of her rich brown furred dipped paws, she began to point and chatter nervously in Vor’s direction. “Ya sure, girl?” He seemed to nod and contemplate to himself. ”Settles it, then. Quick Attack on the double, good girl. Show’em what’s fer.”The long and lanky bushy-tailed furret zipped off across the ground as Vor charged her Aura Sphere she had prepared earlier for the attack. The lengthy normal type would kick off across the dark grassy ground and lung directly into the blue fighting type dog’s charged attack, ramming her with a full on tackle in Vor’s chest. Shortly after, the Lucario’s released the powerful blast of aura energy that would envelop the Rancher’s Furret completely and leave the Pokemon in a crumbled heap on the ground – zapping way too much energy. The old Rancher ran over to his Pokemon, shocked and amazed at how quickly Marchbaby was able to wipe out his partner. “Yer strong fer sure. I think ya might do jus’ fine against whatever’s been causin’ such a ruckus. I hopes so, at least.” He then gestured towards Marchbaby and his overpowered partner as he began to walk towards the circle of tree and three distinct paths. The left path seemed littered with broken branches and remnants of berries. Most of the markers were berry juices wiped or scratched across the tree branches, with some smashed into the earthen ground itself. The right path seemed barren of the berries, but have large broken trees that had fallen over due to some noticeable calamity. It would be a much more dangerous, as large trees that seemed snapped in half barricaded part of the trail. The center trail was different, however. The ground was noticeably more dry as well, with sprinkler systems that generally pointed away to water the groves of berry bushes on either side. “Can ya investigate and see what all the fuss is about?” The Rancher pleaded to Marchbaby, asking for his help. "I can even offer ya some berries...if you'd be willin' to help an old man out..."Trainer Battle: Rancher Bernie Quest Battle [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Bernie's Furret LV 23 HP 0% [0/79] [attr="class","qkt-wild-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-pkmn"] [attr="class","qkt-clip"]Vör LV 31 HP 93% [88/94] [attr="class","qkt-trainer-imgbox"] [attr="class","qkt-pkmn-img"] Bernie's Furret [Frisk]: Normal Marchbaby's Vör [Inner Focus]: Normal <Furret identified Vör's Black Belt. As Vör quickly dealt with Bernie's Furret hardly taking any damage Marchbaby was quite proud of the young Lucario. Just in case he needed her at full health later he grabbed the one Oran Berry he had left and gave it to her to restore her health. " Vör take this Oran Berry to restore the bit of health you lost." As he ate the berry and was back to full health Marchbaby turned his attention back to the farmer who by now seemed convinced that he was the real deal. With the strength test out of the way Marchbaby was eager to hear as much as he could about whatever was causing the issues.
" Of course I would be happy to help out. From what I have gathered so far whatever is causing the issues is strong against both flying and fire types but it could just be that whatever is causing the trouble knows moves strong against those types. I could certainly use some berries but I am happy just to help." He said as he started to think about the the options with Vör hoping her aura sense would be able to solve the problem. After thinking for a few moments Vör had an idea to at least make some progress until she could pick something up.
" Maybe we should follow the trail with the most berries and that will lead us to our first clue? At least it is better than standing her hoping for something to happen." Marchbaby quickly agreed as they made the decision to follow the left path to look for any clues as to the identity of the creature causing so much destruction. " Ok Bernie we are going to search the left path first, hopefully we find something soon so you and everyone else can go back to normal as soon as possible."
As they followed the berry filled path Vör started to pick up on something in the distance. She couldn't tell exactly what it was yet but she stood ready just in case they had to deal with another battle. " I sense something just up ahead, I am not sure if it is what we are after or not yet but I am ready to go just in case." Marchbaby was on guard as well not wanting to take any chances. After the battle with Bernie and the Rocket Executive he had no idea what might jump out at them next on this crazy night.
OOC: Taking the left path. Keeping Vör's current moves. Also using an Oran Berry to restore Vör's health. Updating the Oran Berry now.

The path snaked through a forest of large oak trees and huge thorny bushes. The path was wide in some areas, yet narrow or nonexistent in others. Huge chunks of broken branches swung from the canopy above, barely hanging on by a thread. Dark red stains decorated the tree trunks. Large, deep scratch gorged the trunks, unearthing their soft almost white flesh underneath. Many of the thorny bushes were smeared with globs of dried red stains. Their leaves were ripped up and mangled in messy clumps. Their vines were torn up in disarray, broken unnaturally so. Many of the wild vines were simply clinging limply from tree branches like wet noodles stuck on a drying rack. They swayed the with coming breeze, dancing a sad somber melody. A strange noise hummed over the forest atmosphere. Owls hooted in the distance, then quieted. The strange sound only grew louder if Marchbaby and his crew decided to carry on their journey and fall the trail of dark red stains and broken flora. It growled and roared in broken syllables, mimicking the sounds of something almost like a bear. The dark red stains would grow larger as they approached the origin of the noise itself. They would start looking like large red puddles left on the ground – while some where completely dried up, others were just drying up but still damp to the touch. A soft breeze danced through the torn and tattered bushy leaves on the tree branches. A bird cawed out somewhere up above. Shadows danced through the canopy, some small while others would appear larger than life itself. A robust, lean, muscled figure would appear before them. The loud sounds would seem to have died off completely by the time Marchbaby and his team of Pokemon made it to the sight. The policeman’s uniform looked torn up, and dark red stains decorated the outfit. He was unsettlingly still and laid in a quiet, messy heap on the forest floor surrounded by scratched up trees and broken tree branches. The dark red stains covered his cheeks and ran down the sides of his face, seeming to spill in a dried mess all around him. His flashlight laid just a few inches away in broken pieces, along with the remnants of his night stick. Marchbaby has stumbled upon an unmoving body! Are they ok? What will Marchbaby and his team choose to do? Notes: Vor is now at full health.

The creepy atmosphere did not help the situation at all as Marchbaby tried his best to keep up with Vör. Between the red stained tree trunks, red stained thorn bushes, and the strange noise all made the trek very unnerving to say the least. " Atropos might love it here but I do not know any other Pokemon that could possibly like living in such a depressing area. If it weren't reckless and dangerous I would offer to burn this place to the ground and hope whatever grows back was less depressing. " He said as they continued to make their way through the mess.
Seeing the red stains grow larger and the noise get louder Marchbaby knew he had to be getting closer to whatver Vör had picked up on but knowing that Lucario could pick up on aura from quite a distance her wasn't entirely sure exactly how far away they were until Vör spoke up. " It is just up ahead, it seems to be in the shape of a human but until we get closer I cannot say for certain. " The young Lucario then rushed towards what she saw as Marchbaby started to fall behind only catching up when the figure appeared before them.
" I think the creature we are after came through here, enough of these stains have dried enough that I don't think it stuck around. We should check and see if that policeman is still alive. He looks to be in rough shape. " As he spoke with concern for the officer Vör could sense by his aura that he was likely still alive but not in the greatest of shape by any means. " His aura is weaker than most humans but it is still stronger than that of the dead. It seems he was just knocked out though he still might be hurt. "
Marchbaby had no medical training but he figured that if he tried to shake the officer the man might wake up. " Sir are you ok? We heard a strange creature was going around attacking people and I am here to put a stop to it. " He said as he continued to softly shake the officer hoping he would wake up. Atropos suddenly popped out of her Pokeball having watched everything from inside her Pokeball and laughed at the man before speaking. " Silly mortal, I bet you tried to be a hero and got whupped and righteously so. " Before she could say anything else however Marchbaby recalled her hopjng the appearance of the bleached white Shuppet would not scare the poor man to death.

The noises of Marchbaby’s conversation with his Pokemon caused the eerily still and quiet police officer to stir. He stirred a bit and tossed back and forth upon the forest floor, causing the red stained blue uniform to rub into the dirt and grass. The police officer shot out one hand in a dazed dream and clutches wildly into the air, grasping for invisible forces that only he could see within his dreams. A loud, rupturing sound roared over the air and spooked the birds, as the police officer snored loudly. Night birds hooted in the distance, and the sounds of wings on the wind and large shadows flowing across the ground from one direction to another spoke of their departure. The policeman stirred as Marchbaby began to shake him. He stirred back to consciousness for a brief second, then slipped back into his fitful panicked nightmare. After a bit more persistence, he would easily rouse and push himself drearily to sit on the ground. The policeman rubbed his eyes and blinked furiously as he tried to focus his gaze. The strange white apparition spooked him, though, and he jumped back at least two feet to escape Atropos. “Stay back, you ghoulish fiend!” He hissed, scared, and reached for his nightstick as he gasped of in shocked paranoia. Then the trainer seemed to summon the spooky white Shuppet back into its Pokeball and he grimaced, gulping, and grasping at fleeting ideas. What happened? He had to think back to the moments that led up this moment. Slowly, it all started to come flooding back. The large figure, the fight of passion and panic, and the immediate tumble to the earthen ground! What a large and frightening image! “Am I ok….Yeah…yeah. A stop to it? I was trying to put a stop to it…” He sort of mimicked Marchbaby’s words as he shook his head in his hands. But those fists were like something out of this world! Could it be? Did he really fight some fiendish otherworldly or supernatural entity?! “I…was out on patrol, yeah…” He hummed as his eyes began to focus on the lad carefully so. He remembered twirling his walking stick as he strolled through the open forest floor. That’s when the farmer approached him, causing the policeman to go on an active search to seek out and put a stop to the hooligans that were causing mischief. “Whatever I faced…whoever they were…their fists were boulders!” The policeman pushed himself up and slowly began dusting the dirt off of his suit as he came to full consciousness. “They knocked me into this berry tree here, and I guess I must have smashed up all the berries that fell off in the skirmish.” He nodded as he noticed the berry juice that covered the tree bark and that was smeared all over the ground. “I must’ve hit my head on the way down when I took a tumble.” He pulled out the small set of keys that he had managed to pull away from the culprit before they disappeared and studied them. Nothing really seemed to stick out or seemed to make them look particularly interesting, though. “Even though I managed to pry a set of keys off of them, I guess they got away….” He muttered defeatedly. They did seem to say 'Supply Shed' on the key fob, though. "I think these belong to the farmer..." He muttered to himself, still thinking about the events that transpired. Should Marchbaby offer to return the keys, the policeman would easily hand them over so long as he promised to return them to the farmer personally.

Marchbaby was glad to see the policeman wake up but as he feared the sight of Atropos nearly scared the poor man to death. With the specter now back in her Pokeball he had to apologize to the poor man as she had totally stepped out of line. " I am so sorry for that, Atropos has a thing for scaring people out of their wits." He then listened to the man speak in short bursts about what had happened and tried to piece together everything he knew already along with what the man had said to get some idea about the creature.
" I am absolutely convinced the creature is either a rock type or knows rock type moves now. That might be good news as Vör is very effective against that type." Besides seemingly confirming his suspicion however the mans story was a bit too broken and lacking in detail to help much further. It did not seem to be a total waste however as the policeman mentioned finding a key of some kind. Though he wasn't sure what the key might be for he figured he could ask Bernie after he searched the other paths for more clues.
" I will gladly return those keys as they might help solve this mystery. I need to head back there anyway as there were other paths the culprit may have taken. I hope nothing like this happens again." Marchbaby said before the officer handed him the key and he made his way back to Bernie. Not being in a hurry this time made it easier to traverse but it was still not a fun experience as the terrain was not very friendly to anything without hard scales or armor to protect them. Once he made it back to Bernie he handed him the key.
" The creature apparently attacked a policeman and though it got away he managed to grab this key from the culprit before it got away. I am going to go to the path on the right now and if I find anything else I will let you know." After waving goodbye to Bernie he started to walk down the path on the right feeling quite nervous about the situation now as the culprit had a pretty big head start and might be too far ahead to catch up. " I sure hope we can catch up to that creature, we must bring it to justice for all the problems it has caused." Vör nodded before scanning the area for any other aura.
" I can sense something else up ahead. I hope this is the creature we are after." She whispered to Marchbaby as they made their way towards the source of the aura Vör detected.
OOC: March returns the key to Bernie and then goes down the right path.

The Policeman seemed happy that Marchbaby offered to return the keys to the farmer. He would hand them over, then begin wondering off as he worked at piecing the rest of his own puzzle together. Soon, only the reflecting light of his flashlight illuminated the path he shuffled down deep inside of the forest. You couldn’t stop a trainer from being the very best they ever were, and you can’t stop a Police Officer from trying to solve a mystery and possible crime. Bernie was thrilled to see Marchbaby make his way back from the left path. The feeble old man walked over to greet the trainer and his Pokemon with enthusiasm. His long, furry striped brown-and-cream colored companion raced ahead of him across the ground and called out to Marchbaby and his team. “Ya made it back!” He said hopefully, “Did ya find anything useful out- Oh, my keys!” Bernie exclaimed excitedly and gratefully took the keys back from Marchbaby. He couldn’t remember losing them though… Hmm, his shed. He needed to go through and organize it one of these days… Marchbaby seemed to have taken off, leaving the old farmer with barely a chance to wave them goodbye and bid them a relatively safe trip down the right path, before the trainer and his team shoved off once more. Large trees had fallen over down the right path. Most of them were snapped clean in half, with their once tall forms now sprawled across the ground in disarray. Sounds echoed from the distance, loud crashes as though a lumberjack were evilly hacking their way through the forest at a near-blinding speed. Large, strange shadows flowed across the ground – some were mimicking the clouds above and ambled through the forestry and across the forest floor, while others rushed in a mad dash through the undergrowth. A large burly man laid sprawled out on the ground. He was clearly unconscious. The large bruise welt that had formed nicely across his forehead and on hands implied a skirmish that he had most likely lost. His overly large backpack was slung across the open ground and slammed up against a tree, with mountaineer supplies pouring out of the rip in its side. A broken axe laid nearby the unconscious mountaineer, with a large yellow pangolin with large brown spikes jutting out of its back. It was clearly wounded, though, with cuts and scrapes scouring its body and bent spikes on its back. It whined, curled up into a tight ball, with only the spikes pointing out to try and keep its softer flesh safe and secure. There's an unconscious man with a wounded Sandslash! Will Marchbaby choose to check up and make sure they're ok, or investigate the area?

As Marchbaby and his Pokemon made their way down the creepy path the combination of trees snapped in half and a loud crashing noise really concerned him. Whatever this creature was it was quite powerful and it was no wonder that people were scared of whatever it was. " This creature is on a rampage, most dragon types would struggle to cause this much damage. It is no wonder so many trainers we passed could not stop it." He said as Vör suddenly stopped as she picked up a second source of aura right next to the first one. " This cannot be good news, I hope we are not too late."
Moments later the two sources of aura came into view of Marchbaby and Vör and it was not a pretty sight. A man and his Sandslash had been knocked out cold with no sing of the creature in sight. Both the man and his Sandslash were still breathing but were in pretty rough shape. " Oh goodness, it looks like that creature got away yet again. We need to check on these two before we go back to Bernie and hope he has a good idea on how to stop the creature." As he said that Vör started to shake the Sandslash while Tyler started to shake the man trying to wake them up.
" This poor Sandslash is probably going to need a trip to the Pokemon Center given the shape it is in. Whatever this creature is it hits pretty hard." By now Marchbaby was puzzled to say the least as a ground type would have been strong against a rock type so the culprit must either have more than one type or quite a good selection of moves o cover its weaknesses. In either case the creature had to be stopped and soon before it could harm anyone else.
" Hopefully we can wake these two up soon, maybe they will have a clue we can use to try and use against the creature to give ourselves a better chance of ending its reign of terror." As Marchbaby and Vör continued to try and wake up the latest victims Atropos popped out of her Pokeball again and quickly went to work picking on the latest victims. " Two more victims? I love this creatures work. Foolish mortals such as these two have learned the hard way not to come unprepared." Before the specter could say anything else however Marchbaby recalled her and sat his backpack on top of her ball to minimize the chance of her escaping again.

It took a few shakes before the burly man would rouse. He groaned. Consciousness coming with the pang of all his injuries. Blinking excessively to clear his blurry vision he put his hands firmly on the ground and made to adjust his slumped posture to try and ease the curve on his lower back. "Wh-where..? Who's there?" he mumbled. His voice started muffled and weak but grew stronger as the fog cleared from his mind. Soon the silvery outline of the dragon tamer settled in view. The man would listen to anything March had to say as he continued to collect himself. "Oh Sandslash," the hiker gulped after wiping his brow with the back of a muddy hand, wincing a second as he brushed one of his lumps. Leaning to the side a little he found he was still a little too dazed for any large motor functions. The large shrew remained curled up off to the side. "It was a woodland monster!" The words suddenly spat from the hiker with renewed energy. His eyes opened wider as the recent events replayed in his head. "We... we didn't realize till too late. We thought it a tree, trees are our specialty..." he went on rambling, losing focus a little bit. He looked down to the earth caked on his hand for a moment before thrusting it up for Marchbaby to see. "It wasn't no tree! It slashed my pack, water all over," he went on in a desperate tone. "Didn't like it, but by then it was too late. Wasted too much energy." The hiker's fatigue came back to him in a wave. An ebb of pain from all over his body drew him back, hand slumping onto his lap as he huffed. He closed his eyes and tried to just focus on breathing. After a moment he began lightly nodding his head. "You gotta go tell Bernie. You tell him," he paused to swallow and lick his lips, "We'll be fine. Just need a... a moment." The outdoorsman was quite insistent, but as time went on he did seem to become more lucid and calm. His breathing steadied and he managed to push himself onto his feet. "Be careful," he warned before setting about collecting his wounded pokémon. The hiker seems like he'll recover, but gave some useful info The Rancher might have something Marchbaby could use to finally trap the fiend

As the man woke up and started to tell his story a few more things stood out to Marchbaby. Apparently the creature did not like water and could easily be mistaken for a tree. " This whole situation keeps getting weirder, it does sound an awful lot like this Pokemon is a master of disguise and it not liking water lines up with being a rock type however I cannot believe a Sandslash would struggle against a rock type of any kind." As he mused over what he could do to stop the creature a small glimmer of light caught his eye from a nearby tree. Before he could walk over to it however Shocker floated towards it and touched the glowing light and seconds later its entire body started to glow.
" Huh? Did Shocker just find a Thunder Stone? I remember seeing a recent report that Magneton can evolve with those now but I didn't think it was possible." As soon as he started to believe the reports Shocker had finished evolving as it's new shape astonished it's trainer. " Shocker you look incredible, I bet you have even more powerful electricity than you already did." Marchbaby did not need to wait long to find out as in it's excitement the Magnezone fired a Thunderbolt at a nearby destroyed tree. Vör was dumbstruck by the display as she could not believe how much more powerful Shocker had become.
" Whoa that was insane, I thought Thunderbolt was powerful before but that was a whole new level. I certainly don't want to get hit by that." As Vör continued to watch the Magnezone Marchbaby finally had enough of a plan in mind to go back to Bernie. He knew the plan wasn't fool proof but at least it could work if luck was on his side. As he made his way back through the path of destruction Shocker's Thunderbolt made for a great way to clear the dead trees as the voltage was so high it would disintegrate their remains. Once they were back to Bernie Marchbaby apologized for running off so quickly earlier before going over his plan.
" I am so sorry about running off so quickly last time. I did get a bit more information from another victim of the creature though. It apparently hates water and is said to look just like a tree. If we have any source of water such as a sprinkler system or a very long hose we should be able to ambush it in the center path as it should be cornered there now." He hoped Bernie would like his plan so they could set up an ambush.
OOC: Evolving Shocker using March's Thunderstone. Marchbaby plans to use the sprinkler system on the center path to ambush the creature.

The berry farmer was thrilled to see Marchbaby back so soon and he waved off the trainer's apologies. The important thing here was to solve the mystery and save his berry farm, it was what he lived off and if he couldn't harvest he would be in big trouble. "Oh no! Not another victim! When will it end?" Bernie exclaimed and frowned as he listened to Marchbaby's theory, "water?" He repeated puzzled. "Sprinklersystem, oh yes I have one of these, and now I can get to it since you got back my lost keys!" He added cheerfully, "Not that I remember how I lost them in the first place," he mumbled to himself as he trotted off towards the shed fumbling with the key. The area was eerily quiet and the sound of the rusty shed door screeched loudly but go no reaction. Bernie ventured inside chatting with himself while his furret fidgeted nervously outside and glanced warily at the darkness beneath the trees, the monster was still out there. Bernie shuffled out, cursed when he tripped over his mess and pushed things down as he worked his way into the faucet connected to the sprinklers. A low gushing sound and then the sprinklers sprung to life and sprouted water over the berry bushes. Instantly one of the trees shuddered and with a furious wail leaped from where it had been rooted, only to rush straight at Marchbaby while swinging its branches wildly. How dared he make it wet! A Sudowoodo [lvl 24] is flushed out and enraged! Choose a pokemon for battle.

As one of the nearby trees sprung to life and started to charge towards him Marchbaby finally put all the pieces of the puzzle together realizing that this Sudowoodo had to be the culprit who had caused so much trouble. " I can see why no one could figure out what was going on before but I still would love to know how a Sandslash could lose to a poor Sudowoodo unless it has a really special trick." The rock type Pokemon had certainly earned his respect for being such a master of disguise but he was not about to let the creature cause any more havoc now that it's secret was out.
" Seeing as how you are charging towards me I take it you would like to battle? Fine by me but I warn you in advance I will not be defeated as easily as those other trainers you faced. Vör let's teach this Sudowoodo a bit of a lesson in how to behave properly." Vör then stepped forward as a bluish white beam started to form in her paws as she took aim at the rock type. As tempting as Aura Sphere was she was afraid the rock type would use a trick against her if she used it instead of using Flash Cannon as a safer option.
" As much as I hate to do this you have it coming for all the damage you cased. I sure hope this lesson proves valuable to you." After a brief pause she went to fire the steel type beam when Marchbaby stopped her for a moment. " Be careful Vör, I still think this Sudowoodo has some trick it is going to pull. Thank goodness it is still night time so my Dusk Ball will have a higher chance of capture if I get the chance to throw it." Vör then nodded as she looked at the rock type and got ready to fire.
Shocker watched in anticipation as well just in case it would have to step in for some reason. It would be the perfect chance to test it's new strength out if things got bad but for now it stood by in reserve. After it waited a few seconds to see what would happen a bright flash erupted from Vör's paws as the beam traveled straight towards the approaching Sudowoodo. " I sure hope this works, this route has seen enough carnage for one day. This Sudowoodo could really use a good trainer to teach it right from wrong."
OOC: Vör uses Flash Cannon, Setting Sudowoodo's ability as Sturdy. March tosses his only Dusk Ball since the quest takes place at night and it will get the capture bonus. Updating the ball myself.
