Before you can be accepted into the IPF we have an aptitude test for you to complete. Based on your answers to these questions you will be given the choice of 3 divisions that would best suit you, so it's important to answer as per your own ideals.
There are no 'right' answers. Each one has a unique scene in the given situation that best suits the ideal conditions for a certain method of handling it. Choose your preferred method, assuming each ends in the best way possible.
Reply here with just your answers. No need to copy the questions:

B. Put yourself forward and force traffic to a stop so that she may cross the road.

Set up a perimeter and call for backup; keeping the aggressor contained and everyone else out of harms way. D. Amidst the chaos, find the trainer and sneak up to them. After subduing them recall the pokémon.

After a short wait the clerk came back with 3 patches, "Based on your answers we have a choice of three division that would best suit your methods of policing."
Special Response Team (SRT) "... as you favored quick action and using force over passive guidance or negotiations. Alternatively, we have another fast action division..."
Bike Patrol "... while not necessarily always on a bike, these officers are close to the public and see a lot of the day-to-day. They are quick thinkers who move on instinct but tend not to engage battles as a first option. And the third division that could suit your tastes..."
Detective "... as you have a bit of an eye for details and are unafraid of diving into business."
"Please choose one of these three to join. Upon joining a division you may be awarded bonus merit in quests or potentially even regular activities based on exemplary performance representing your division."
