Platinum and her Pokemon continued to travel down the path that would potentially lead them closer to Cherrygrove City. Her soft metallic eyes carefully gazed up to admire the soaring flying-type Pokemon above her for a few seconds until the voice of an adult caught her attention. "Huh?" She questioned softly to herself, shifting her attention in the direction of the young boy and his father. Platinum could feel her heart start to melt just by looking at the sad and scared expression on the little's kid's face. She couldn't help, but wonder what had happened to him? Well. at least he had a caring father to console him for the time being," she thought to herself.
A small pink figure colored in snow soon captured Monroe's attention and the small azure Piplup did not waste any time waddling over to the item to expect it. "Pip! Pip! Pip!" Monroe cried out, flapping her small arms in a dramatic manner while running circles around the damaged toy. Apparently, Monroe had panicked due to thinking that the Poke Doll is an actual Igglypuff.
"What is it now?" Platinum sighed, rushing over towards Monroe with Brenton galloping behind her. Platinum would take a kneel onto the snow-kissed ground take a better glance at the item. "Oh, Monroe. Calm down, it's just a doll," she explained to her Pokemon, carefully picking up the ruined Poke Doll. "I wonder...Who or what could have done something like this to an innocent doll..." She spoke to herself, gently dusting off some of the snow covering the rest of the doll's small body. Could it have belonged to the little boy from earlier? Perhaps, he was playing around with it when a Wild Pokemon attacked him? His father did tell him not to go close to Pokemon without their permission if she remembered his words.
Platinum and her Pokemon quickly turned their glance away from the damaged doll after hearing some heavy footprints and deep huffing and puffing moving closer towards them. The indigo-haired female stood back up on her two feet and walked for the office to move a little closer towards her. At first, she was starting to wonder if her parents contacted the Police Task Force to have them search for her to make sure that she is safe or perhaps she was wanted for something? No, she couldn't be wanted for anything, right? She did not commit a crime. Her mind was racing, but she still made it her business to look cool, calm and collected.
"Hello, sir. Umm, I do not believe that I've seen any troublemakers around here lately, sorry." Platinum stated with a half-smile. It was not until she listened closely to his words that she realized that he was asking her if she has found any clues that could possibly lead him to this "so-called troublemaker" that does not like kids. "I don't know if this will help or not, but we did find this in the snow." Platinum added, holding out the broken Poke Doll out to the officer so that he could get a better view of it.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I would also like to add the Pachirisu to Platinum's team as well!

Platinum must have spent quite some time looking at the doll to still be there when then officer arrived but then it was just quick to show him what she had found. Officer Clooney frowned deeply and carefully took the doll from Platinum to inspect it closer. "And you haven't seen anything else around here? No hurt kids hopefully? Anything else scattered or broken? Heard someone talk about something?" he asked and added quickly, "anything could link to this, even if you don't think it has any connection, so please tell me anything."When Platinum was done telling what she knew, if she knew anything, Clooney would take the word again. "You see, I have this Pachirisu which I have been given the task to train and find a good home. It was making a ruckus in Violet and one of my colleagues took care of it and brought it into the station. For some reason it does not trust me and it doesn't like kids at all," he raised the remains of the doll, "this could look like its doing."He was quiet for a bit, while his hoothoot made some soft calls from its perch. "Good!" He said loudly as he clapped his hands together, "you are hereby recruited to help me find this troublemaking pachirisu so I can figure out what to do with it. My hoothoot hasn't been doing well." His owl made a bit more quiet hoot then. Officer Clooney guiden them all on how to spread out and look for clues of the pachirisu's whereabouts, and they quickly found both some more of the filling form the doll, some footprints and some chew marks in a pinecone. It all lead in one broad direction but it was all they needed for Hoothoot to scout ahead and soon it came back and lead them to a little hill. A spearow and a sentret was talking with a white and blue pokemon with a long curved tail. "Pachirisu!" Clooney bellowed as he stepped forward and the squirrel pokemon started while the two wild pokemon backed away and looked between the humans and the pachirisu. "You tricked us!" The sentret spat, "all you promised with your ideas and protecting each other was just to stall us so your humans could come here and fight us!"The spearow puffed out its feathers and became twice as well, as pachirisu tried to protest and defend itself, it sent a glare at Clooney. "Shut up! And get lost, we don't deal with liers!" The spearow would interrupt and both it and the sentret moved threateningly towards the pachirisu.   Spearow [Lv 7]] and Sentret [Lv 8] thinks Pachirisu has tried to trick them. Wanna help it?(ooc: Heat Lamps are Key Items, you cannot share them between characters, so you will have to buy a second. 400 words added. Pachurisu has been added to the party, don't forget to pick an ability if you let it be a part of the battle.) |

Platinum took a few seconds to think about the officer's question before the image of the upset child that she noticed a couple of minutes again replayed in her mind. "Well, I did see this little kid. He was visibly upset and his father told him not to get close to a Pokemon without its permission first. Perhaps, the kid was attacked or almost attacked by a Pokemon?" Platinum replied, taking a glance back down at the damaged Poke Doll before turning her attention back towards the officer. After replaying her previous encounter with the kid and his father, the dark indigo-haired trainer felt a little bit more confident that the Pokemon the officer is looking for is responsible for the Poke Doll's ruined body.
The officer seems to agree with her conclusion, too. "A Pokemon that doesn't like kids, huh? That does explain a lot," she stated, placing her index finger underneath her small, button chin. She could not help but wonder what happened between the Pachirisu and kids to cause it to not like them. Platinum's thoughts were soon interrupted by the officer's clapping and his decision to volunteer her for a job. "Wa-wait! You want me to do what?" She questioned, waving her hands and shaking her head at the officer's request. "Didn't you say that the Pokemon doesn't like kids? What if it doesn't like me either? I'm not sure if I would be of any help or just make things worst." Platinum added before glancing over up at the Hoothoot perched on its trainer's shoulder. First, the mysterious witch volunteered her to help tame a Pokemon and now this police officer had volunteered her for a new task, too.
"Fine...I will help you," she replied with a soft sigh escaping from her lips. She felt bad that the Hoothoot was not feeling well, so she figured that she would at least help it out. Plus, she is a little curious to learn a little bit more about the Pachirisu, too.
Platinum and her Pokemon followed the officer and his Hoothoot, her keen metallic-hued eyes taking a careful glance around their surroundings for any clues. Luckily, the Hoothoot's eyesight is a lot better than hers, because it was able to find their missing troublemaker without too much of a problem. "Looks like your little friend has found itself in some trouble already," she pointed out, studying the body language of all three of them Pokemon.
"Alright Brenton, we better help it out," She stated, glancing over at her Ponyta. The Ponyta nodded its head before galloping over to her side. "Brenton use Ember on the Sentret. Pachirisu...I know that you don't know me, but you have to trust me. I'm here to help you out. If you could, I would love for you to use an electric attack on the Spearrow," she spoke with a soft smile.

"That's some crucial information, it ties well with the rest we know and only confirms the other clues," Officer Clooney said solemnly, "but we need to find it ASAP. Who knows what other troubles it will be stirring? how many other kids will be hurt?"The officer looked surprised at her when she protested his volunteering of her, "Of course I want your help, you are no kid, not with that team of pokemon. A teenager perhaps but not a kid, I wouldn't ask kids to help me. If nothing else I need the help of your pokemon, as I said my hoothoot didn't fare well the last time the two clashed. I'm sure you have something which can handle the rodent without any problem," Clooney said and that was the end of the that conversation. "You don't say," the officer growled annoyed, "why can't it just obey and be nice? One time criminal, always a criminal I guess."He looked pleased when Aphrodite sent out her ponyta and he hesitated, "you know what, I don't think you two will have any problem handling those two, perhaps the pachirisu can get some of its energy out of the system so it will actually listen."The white and blue rodent's ears twitched and it looked back at Platinum surprised but then it pouted. It had a hard time believing that anyone was on its side, especially after how its first trainer, the kid had abandoned it, how Clooney had been full of prejudices and now they had stopped it from getting a new group to live with, or use, or how you'd see the gangs it tried to form around it to make life easier. Both the wild pokemon were moving towards it although they flinched when it shouted its name and let electricity dance around it, it leaped into the spearow and knocked it out cold in one hit. It twitched its nose feeling proud. Sentret stared wildly and was an easy target for Brendon's fires, which made the panicked normal type flail around wildly with its claws. Pachirisu jumped away and rubbed its chin from where the claws had reached it. "I am not with them and I don't lie! At least I didn't lie to you two," the pachirisu said grumping to the sentret and turned its back on it. Clooney stomped over to it and it stared up at him defiantly and didn't look to care much of his scolding. It glanced at Platinum and then back up at the officer. Begging eyes was turned to Platinum then, she had said she wanted to help it, right? Well, it could need her help now. Wild Encounter

A quick sigh of relief escaped from Platinum's mouth the moment she watched the Pachirisu follow her orders and attack the Spearrow with a super-effective attack, noting it out without too much of a fuss. "That was awesome, Pachirisu! You're not only cute, but you're pretty powerful, too!" Platinum stated with a smile, giving the white and azure rodent a thumbs up.
Platinum's soft smile soon disappeared as she winced out in a pain a bit, watching the Sentret's sharp claws make contact with the Pachirisu's adorable face. "Don't worry Pachirisu, you're going to be okay!" She stated with an assuring smile. She then noticed that the Pachirisu seem to be a little distracted by the police officer's intimidating facial expression. "Pachirisu! Let's focus on the battle. We're almost there! We just have to take out one more! I believe that we can do it as long as we continue to work together. Spark one more time and Brenton give it another Ember!" She commanded the Pokemon.
After giving out her orders, Platinum would glance over at the police officer before gently placing her hand over his shoulder. "Gotta ease up a bit. You're not going to be able to gain its trust that way," she added, offering him a soft smile. She hoped that the police officer would at least think on her words a bit and show the Pachirisu a little more kindness and patience.

Pachirisu's ears twitched and a smile played at the corner of its mouth from Platinum's words, it puffed and rolled its eyes at the female trainer's reassurance. Of course it was going to be okay! It might look cute but it didn't mean it couldn't handle a thing or two, especially something as easy as a bit of scratching. It hesitated and then turned its back on the two wild pokemon and made its way over to the humans. It had attacked the spearow to defend itself, not to win over them. It felt like it was confirming the wild pokemon's accusations if it battled along side the humans to beat them, and it hurt its pride. It had not lied to them and it wasn't going to take advantage of them for this. Brenton on the other hand had no reason to not see this through and he ignored the quick attack from the sentret which he kicked to the side and finished off with a impressive strong ember, leaving it smoking in the grass. The spearow lifted its head groggily, saw how things were and then carefully crawled a bit a way before it leaped in the air and flapped hard to zoom away as fast as its small wings could carry it. "Suu!" The pachirisu eagerly agreed with Platinum when she told the officer to take it a bit more calmly, and it jumped over to hide behind her legs, looking innocently at Clooney who was scowling. "Its that who needs to earn my trust! And its not doing a very good job about it!" Clooney said through clenched teeth. Hit hoothoot swooped in and landed on his shoulder, it hooted quietly to him. He huffed. It hooted a bit more insistent and he exhaled deeply and relaxed his shoulders. "I guess you are right I can't get it to listen, but it keeps running away and continuing with its criminal life!" The officer said exasperated and was silent for a few moments while his hoothoot preened its chest and yawned. Officer Clooney wrinkled his nose and opened and closed his mouth a few times before he managed to say: "So what would you do to get it to listen?"Pachirisu saw something sparkling in the grass and hopped a few steps away to pick it up. It returned to Platinum and tugged at her socks to get her attention before it presented her with the potion bottle it had just found.  Brenton scored a Critical hit and ends the battle. He grows (2/2+2/2=>) 2 levels to [Lv 12]!  Pachirisu stayed out the last round but still learns and grows (1/2+1/2=>) 1 level to [Lv 15]! Brenton let out a loud and prideful neigh before galloping over to his trainer after his victory. "That was awesome! You were great out there, Brenton! That Ember was so powerful!" Platinum praised her fire horse Pokemon, and gently reached out to give his soft head a gentle stroke. Meanwhile, Monroe would give Brenton a "wing up" before hopping on his back. Platinum took a quick moment to toss a Poke Ball at the Sentret. Platinum later turned her her attention down towards the Pachirisu, who was hiding behind her legs. "You two are a piece of work. I thought that Monroe and myself needed to do some sort of team-building exercise or something, but it seems like you two might benefit from it a lot more," Platinum teased the officer and the electric squirrel Pokemon. "Well, like I mentioned earlier... I would be kinder to it. You can't expect it to listen to you if it doesn't trust you... Although, if you really do not believe that you two are a good match then perhaps you could find another trainer that might be a better fit for it," she suggested, not knowing what other kind of advice to give him. Platinum turned her attention after the officer the moment she felt the Pachirisu tugging against her socks. "Oh, a potion? For me? That's going to come in handy, thank you!" She smiled at the electric-type before carefully taking the potion away from the Pokemon and then stuffing it into her bag. "So, we defeated those wild Pokemon...Is there anything else that we can help you with before we move on along?" She asked the office officer with a warm smile. OOC: Place in box, please. Clooney watched Platinum's interaction with her pokemon with an unreadable face, and he sighed when she addressed it again.
"How can I trust it when it keeps breaking it? Believe me, I tried in the beginning, showed it kindness and lots of freedom, but it broke it. I did set some boundaries of course and the first thing it does was to break them. It's a lost cause I'm afraid," he said grimly and shook his head, "I doubt team work will make any difference as it has showed no interest in working with anyone."
He narrowed his eyes at Platinum's suggestion and looked down at the pachirisu, "I have gotten it in my care to rehabilitate it so that it can get a new home, but if I cannot do that, who would want it? It's a trouble maker and has no respect for authorities," the police officer said as he crossed his arms over his chest and scowled.
"I cannot in good consciousness send it to some unknowing new trainer who has no clue of what they are in for, who knows what trouble it could put them through?" He asked and shook his head, "I think I need to throw the towel in the ring and go to my Captain and say at as it is. I don't know if they'll try find a more skilled trainer who might be willing to give it a chance, or if they can find some place to release it, where it can't do any harm."
While Clooney might not had paid much attention to what happened in front of him, his hoothoot was more alert and it looked between its trainer and Platinum's interactions with the pokemon, including the pachurisu, in disbelief. How could the officer be so blind.
"Hoot!" It called and he shot it a glance and it nodded towards Platinum, which made the man frown and looked confused at her. The owl sighed and gave him a nudge and pointed pointedly between Platinum and pachurisu and the officer looked uncomfortably.
"But it's just playing with her," he mumbled reluctantly and the owl looked at him expectantly.
"I guess, there is no-one hurt by asking," he mumbled and took a deep breath.
"Hey, listen, I hate to ask you of this, but would you be interested in trying to work with this little squirrel and see if you can break through to it? It seems to have taken a liking to you, although it might just be it trying to trick you, it has done so before. You don't have to say yes, and you can come back with it anytime if you find out it's not working out, don't worry, we'll make sure to take good care of it and figure out what will be the best solution," Clooney asked and looked like he really didn't want to.
If Platinum against all Clooney's expectations said yes, he would reluctantly find its pokeball and repeatedly ask if she was sure and if she meant it, before he handed it over to her with another reassurance that she could turn it in at any police station if she felt the need. Or ask for help there.
He'd then wish her good luck and seemed torn between relief of being free from it, and guilt about having wiped the problem off on Platinum.

Platinum was not too surprised when Officer Clooney asked her if she would like to become the Pachirisu's trainer or not. The indigo-haired female may not have known the electric squirrel Pokemon for too long, but she genuinely felt that the two of them have managed to bond within their time of knowing each other. "To be honest. I would love to take Pachirisu along with me. I believe that we would make a great team... I just want to make sure that Pachirisu feels the same way," She replied with a gentle smile. "What do you say Pachirisu, would you like to come along with us" She asked, kneeling down a bit to get a better view of the electric-type Pokemon.
Pachirisu glanced up at Platinum and then over towards Monroe. The Parchirisu took a quick glance over at Officer Clooney and his Hoothoot before turning its attention back towards Platinum and Monroe. Without wasting any more time, Pachirisu would let out a cheerful cry before climbing up Platinum's body and taking a seat on her head. "I'm going to assume that's a yes!" Platinum smiled widely before reaching out to grab the Pachirisu's Poke Ball from the officer.
Platinum and her Pokemon would say farewell to Officer Clooney before making a run toward their next location. "Since you're a member of our team now, you're going to need a name... How about Lux?" She asked the Pachirisu. The squirrel Pokemon let out a blissful cry as electricity danced around her cheeks. "Awesome! Welcome to the team, Lux!"
