A huge smile ran across Kevin's face as the Ultra Ball clicked shut. His amazing streak of luck had continued against all odds having captured his second Ditto. " Hot dog, my luck is on fire right now. That was a great job Freyja, you were a huge help against both of those Ditto." As tempted as he was to try and capture more Ditto his main goal now was to train Oracle and Samantha for their upcoming gym battle. Oracle would be a huge help if the rumors of the gym being normal type were true and he doubted a gym leader would have seen too many Lucario running around with trainers this early in their adventure.

" Since the weather is so nice right now I think this will be the perfect spot to get some training in before our next gym battle. Oracle you will be by far the strongest against the next gym so you are the priority to train though Samantha might be useful as a backup just in case. I am also curious to see what other Pokemon live in this area as I doubt Ditto are the only neat Pokemon that call this area home." As he started to look around for another Pokemon to battle Oracle picked up on something in the distance and alerted him of the incoming Pokemon.

" Something else is headed our way. I am picking up a lot of activity in this area. We must be in the hornets nest of Pokemon around here. I am very curious as well as to which one will pop out next. Any training I can get before the next gym is quite welcome. As strong as I have become I know I can get so much stronger with enough practice." As she awaited her opponent Samantha could only think about their upcoming cruise. She was looking forward to it despite her hatred of water. Running into Marchbaby would be nice as well as she wanted to show him how much stronger she had become.

" Train as much as you wish so long as we do not miss that cruise. I might hate water but a nice relaxing vacation is something I will never turn down. Just make sure once we are on board I do not get wet or else." She then turned to watch a flower on the ground slightly swaying from a slight breeze distracting her from Oracle's upcoming battle.


OOC: Waiting on another spawn on route 34 during the day. Giving Caramell the Ditto Kevin captured in exchange for a Rolycoly egg.

They had to wait for quite some time, as nothing came to their direction. Or rather, they saw a pidgeotto fly past but it was far too high for them to even think about try reaching to challenge for a battle.
In the end they would have to move, and the best option was probably to move in the direction where Oracle had picked up something. If they did they'd soon spot something yellow under a tree. An abra. They better move in stealthily or it might teleport away before they got close enough.

Kevin was absoulty stunned by the Pidgeotto however despite his missed chance to battle it the next Pokemon he encountered more than made up for it. " Ah an Abra, these guys can be quite tricky with their Teleport attack. It can escape from almost any battle using the attack so if we are going to capture it we will not have a chance to cause any damage. We can still get some experience from the capture however if we get lucky. I think Berserk could use it the most as he is a bit behind Clamps level now. Berserk this should be easy for you since you won't need to attack.

As the Rhyhorn stepped towards the psychic type Kevin knew he would not get another shot at capturing the Abra if he failed. Of all the times not to have a Quick Ball it had to be now as he had no doubt it would have the better chance of working. Nonetheless he had to try and capture it as wasting an opportunity to capture a psychic type that became so powerful would be a huge shame. As he grabbed an Ultra Ball and took aim at the young creature Oracle and Samantha looked on wondering just how fast Abra really were. Samantha also took interest in it as it was a fellow psychic type.

" So this little thing really becomes a powerful psychic type? It looks like it is fast asleep, I guess don't judge a book by it's cover comes into play otherwise I would have a hard time believing it at first glance. I want to see what one can do as it might help my own magic grow stronger." Oracle nodded as the pair then watched as Kevin threw the Ultra Ball as he hoped luck would be on his side once again. " I cannot complain if things do not go our way but I still hope luck is on our side again. Abra would make for a very useful partner once it fully evolves. I hope it decides to come along with us." Berserk stood silently as he waited for the results of the attempted capture. He had no idea how useful he would be however if it led to him becoming stronger he would help in anyway he could.

If nothing else the group were all thankful there was no fog in the area as that would make any other battles they did in the area after this slightly less risky.

The abra didn't notice a thing but they would see its face scrunch up in pain as the ultra ball smacked into its forehead. It disappeared in a red flash and the pokeball wiggled furiously, one, two, three.. and snapped open. Another flash of light and the abra was gone.

As the Abra got away Kevin was not too disappointed." Ah it would see as though luck has finally shifted for now. We got a good haul so I cannot complain. The cruise is coming up really soon so I think it is time for us to head out. We can try out luck out here again later once we get back. I know there has to be other special Pokemon out here but a cruise must have some special Pokemon as well." He then made his way to the nearby Pokemon Center wanting to make a small change to his team before the cruise. His poor Porygon Glitch Bird had been trapped in his PC for a long time and he felt a cruise would be the perfect place to bring such a valuable Pokemon.

" Freyja could use a rest so let's give her a break for now. Glitch Bird you will be coming with us on this cruise as I think you will make for quite the conversation piece. I also want to train you as well as I am curious to learn more about such an odd species of Pokemon. Not many Pokemon can say they were artificially created but based off of my research your kind was made by Silph Co. I really want to see what you can do in a real battle." As he finished his business at the Pokemon Center Kevin slowly made his way towards the cruise as Oracle grew more and more excited to see her sister while Samantha was looking forward to a chance to relax.

" As strange as this cruise sounds I could use some relaxation. If I get wet however be prepared to deal with an inferno onboard." Oracle then responded as she could hardly contain her excitement. " Oh I am so excited to see my little sister again. Getting to relax before the next gym sounds lovely as well. Be calm dear Samantha with how safe cruises are today I highly doubt anything bad will happen. There are plenty of dry areas on a ship." As Kevin went to claim the ticket upon reaching the docks Samantha still could not help but feel like something was off about this whole thing. Once they got on board she knew she had to look into this whole thing to calm herself. Until she knew everything was on the up and up she would not be satisfied.
