The sun is out but with the cold wind blowing the attendees are bundled up it their warm blankets. The announcer walks out into the track bundled up in his coat, scarf, hat, and gloves holding the microphone.
"Welcome one and all to our cold December Gogoat race. Thanks to a few delibirds dropping by we have several gifts for the riders to find. All who attend will also receive an item. This is the time for giving and receiving. For a reminder for all involved, here are the rules."
The announcer pulls out his phone and reads off the rules below. He says them in character instead of meta gaming like try to watch out for other riders, try to stay in your lane, don't cheat, and so forth.
Rules
1. If you double post you will be eliminated.
2. Only keep track of your own total. Every player must add +5 every post (+ any berries).
This includes your first post!
3. You must use the code provided on race day.
4. You cannot detract from other players.
5. If you make an error in your calculations you are eliminated -- barring any special phase changes.
Do not modify/delete your posts.
6. Games last 5 days before they time out.
7. The 1st player to 100 wins. Otherwise the last one standing, with the highest total, wins as long as they posted at least once.
8. Anyone eliminated or not racing can post either distractions or Oran Berries.
9. There will be one mulligan allowed in each race per racer. Once used any violations above, after the mulligan, will be enforced.

Remember this race will start at ZERO. There is a new rule 9 as well. The biggest changes will be a few delibirds will be flying in the sky dropping random stuff for the riders to pick up alone the way. In order to claim the items, post right after they are dropped just as if they were berries. I do ask to write in your post you have claimed them though. If no one claims the item right after it is dropped, it is crushed and useless just like any berries.
In addition to the normal prizes and the items dropped by the delibirds, you will also get spheres for first through third and participation for 4th and 5th. These will be given out by Lamont .
