Advanced Studies
Advanced Studies is a dedicated area within the Mizuma Education Center that focuses on allowing its students to test their skills directly in one-on-one battles. It is located in a spacious room that has a marked out battlefield for the contestants. Students are expected to showcase their knowledge by demonstrating what they’ve learned from their coursework in a battle against one of the ‘Ace Students’ in the Advanced Studies roster. Each of the contestants are aligned to a specific Category, based off the different courses that can be taken within the Mizuma Education Center.
Advanced Studies is set up similar to the Battle Frontier. Battlers will be awarded Mizuma Coins
based on how well they do. They may choose to battle one Ace Student from each category until they’ve defeated a contestant from every category, or until they’ve fainted. Be mindful, however! There will be no automatic healing between battles. Also, battlers will need to wait one full month after being defeated, before trying their skills against the Ace Students again. Contestants will win 1 MC per battle, and a bonus of 3 MC should they defeat an Ace Student from every Category in one go. Visitors must also choose 3 of their Party Pokemon to face off against each Ace Student's team.
