"So testing your other pokemon's strength against the gym," Bugsy said thoughtfully, "not a bad idea, and not all are fit for meeting my scyther." He looked down at his kakuna, who had swung herself upright again, her shell gleaming with its new found strength. It probably wouldn't have been much help against the fires from before and with the black canine still laying beside Mishu he knew how this battle would end, but he couldn't feel bad about it. He preferred a battle where his pokemon felt like they could do something, especially the ones like Kakuna who often never really got a chance to start.
"It also means I can figure out if you would be ready to find the trouble maker or could spare you for a lot of wasted time," the gym leader said with a wry smile.

Bugsy listened to and nodded along with Mishu's musing about what kind of pokemon it was and what it could do. He looked thoughtful.
"Well, I faced it after all," he better help her as much as it could, truth to be told, she could have beaten him easily by now if she had chosen to.
"But I must admit that I didn't get a good look on it as I barely fought it before it disappeared again, which was why I asked Whitney and she mentioned the ditto as a possibility. That is the main problem you see, it disappears as it sees you, so it might be able to chance form or camouflage itself in some way," he explained.
"The town has called on me several times when it has arrived to wreck havoc but I only got there in time once to see it, and I'm pretty sure it ran on two legs and was black in color," he said slowly, "for some reason it often goes after Mrs. Aberton's garden, even though her orchard isn't the biggest."
He looked at Mishu to see what she thought about those informations, "You are doing great Kakuna, keep it together and retaliate with Bug Bite."

Kakuna was surprisingly clear minded even as the confusion fought for control with her brain, Yosei was hard to understand and get an idea of what he wanted. He kept praising her but also kept biting her, what was true and what wasn't?
She looked at the strange hat for quite some time, "put it on me!" She demanded and glared when he laughed, "don't laugh at me!" She snapped.
He moved in close to bite her tough shell, it had helped a lot that she had managed to toughen it, and in a swift motion she bit back.

Mishu nodded when Bugsy mused out loud about her logic. She needed to know that the other Pokemon of her team were just as capable of handling battles on their own as her other team members. Even if Hinoina was a perfect match for the bugs in the gym, all things considered, it didn’t mean that she should only rely on her. . “Yes, many of them wouldn’t have lasted as long against your Scyther. Yōsei seems to be giving it his all against your Kakuna as we speak.” Mishu agreed as she thought about her other Pokemon. Karasu was also a suitable fit for the moment, but she would rather rely on her only if she truly needed the extra strength. Considering that Karasu could also see the battle as an opportunity to try and dine on Bugsy’s Pokemon instinctually, it was also the safer plan overall. Dark Type Pokemon were already seemingly given a bad rap thanks to the mystery vandal within Azalea and Mishu didn’t want to add onto those issues and give them more ammunition to believe in their superstitions.

“Yōsei, come back to me, please!” The small pink imp turned around and tilted his head curiously. What on earth did his trainer want with him now? He was rather hurt and beaten up after spending some time battling against the Kakuna. Was she deciding that he had fought long enough and deserved a rest? “See ya, princess!” Yōsei’s voice rose as his nearly screamed in excitement and ran over to Mishu at once. He stood expectantly at her side hands stretched out to her as though he were asking her to pick him up. “I’m ready!” He clamored, seemingly begging to be returned. Instead, Mishu pulled out a medium-sized red spray bottle with a large orange top. She squeezed the trigger and sprayed the healing liquids all over Yōsei, being sure to fully coat him with the medicine. “There ya go, boy. Go ahead and head back to the battlefield.” She nodded and waved him off expectantly.

Yosei grimaced as he widened his large eyes in shock. Was she really just going to heal him and send him back out there?! He was beginning to lose interest in this opponent, since she wasn’t exactly the most exciting creature to try to play tricks on. Crossing his arms and pouting, Yōsei spun back around and marched his butt back over to Kakuna’s side. “I guess we’re not done here, princess.” He huffed in annoyance. Even though he was feeling better with the medicine, he just didn’t really feel the excitement or anticipation building up inside of him that made him want to stick the battle out for the long haul. “Thank you for the information, Bugsy. I assure you that I only want to help. I’ll be sure to visit Mrs. Aberton’s and properly introduce myself, to see if she won’t at least allow me to try and help her out since it likes to plague her the most.” Mishu nodded as she began to take notes.

“Yōsei use Bite!” Mishu instructed her Pokemon like a broken record. Because, of course she did! Wasn’t there something more exciting or fun that he could do, instead? Did it always have to be ‘Bite’ this or ‘Bite’ that? What was the point of just battling for the sake of battling? He turned back to the crown of thorns he had made for the Kakuna and picked it up as he waved it around in the air like some sort of trophy. “I’m not laughing at you…” He promised her, pressing the crown closer to her as he tried to get her to allow him to place it on her head. “You don’t even want this gift I’ve made you?” If she kept refusing, Yōsei would simply toss it to the side. “Oh, well. I guess you just wanna battle and then go back to being a boring old chrysalis, huh?” He grumbled to himself.

“If you’ve faced it and only gotten glimpses of it, then it must be pretty fast.” She hummed to herself thoughtfully. “Or strong. Did it take off in a flash when you tried to confront it or was it using brute strength to ensure that it could make a speedy getaway? Do you remember?” She questioned Bugsy, intrigued by the mystery Pokemon. Mishu wanted to know everything there was to know about this Pokemon. If it ran on two legs and was black in color…hmm. Zorua in its normal form was out for sure, though with how rare Zorua were to begin with she had to seriously doubt one would be lurking around the area anyways. But a Ditto…that would be a bit depressing if that was all it was, she had to admit. What would make one act out like this, though?

The Kakuna glared at Yosei didn't do as she demanded and dropped the 'hat' on the ground and back to his trainer. "Hey! I'm a princess and that means you shall do what I order you! One day I will become queen and have a whole army of workers who works on my home!" She shouted after him, mixing up her own species with another bug in her confusion, as well as what her dream for her future was.
She shook her head to clear it as to clear it, there was still something which didn't ad up.
"Of course we aren't! We're not done before I say we are!" The kakuna said stuck up and tried to look regally, which is hard when you are cocoon.

Bugsy nodded to Mishu's comment about training, he didn't have much more to say about that. Both he and the judge looked amused over Yosei's actions of being called back and healed only to be sent out again.
"Try a String Shot," Bugsy said to Kakuna, Yosei was a tad faster so perhaps it could come in handy to switch that around.
As Yosei stepped back in on the field sulking, Kakuna covered him in sticky strings, "there! Now you know your place!" She said pleased but then narrowed her eyes, "Wait, what am I saying?"

"Now to take advantage of the speed, Kakuna! Poison sting!" Bugsy called out and the Kakuna lifted her head a bit.
"I don't know what you are up to, but your games are over! I know what I am and what I'm not!" She spat and from the area below her head she released a barrage of small needles which buried into the impidimp and his skin began to itch and burn where he had been hit.
Yosei was not going to like that, and he was not going to let that go unanswered the bite he gave was much stronger than the ones before and the Kakuna went limp in his arms.
"Kakuna is unable to battle! Challenger Mishu is the winner!" The judge ruled immediately and Falkner's face fell, so much for slowing the impidimp down.

Resigned the Gym Leader recalled his last pokemon while the judge gestured for both trainers to join her in the middle of the field.
"Congratulations, you have bested me and I'm sure you can handle whatever it is that keep coming back and pestering this town," Bugsy said with a grin and the judge held out a litte box which she opened. Bugsy took the badge, "as this is an official gym battle, I'm happy to give you the badge as proof of your victory, hopefully it can open som doors for you. The TM is U-turn, which you have seen used, I hope it will come handy to you." The gym leader handed the TM and the money laying in the box to Mishu and then offered her a handshake.
"As for your last questions," Bugsy said as he hadn't gotten a chance to answer them before the pokemon had acted and had finished the battle, "it ran off, I'm feeling sure Scyther could have handled it if she had could have gotten to it, but its never alone, always making sure there are others to watch its back and be a distraction. Since these other pokemon helpers change all the time I haven't been able to flush it out I'm afraid, hopefully you'll be more lucky than me. Let me know if I can help you with anything, if the towns people wont talk with you, I can perhaps convince them and should you need an extra scout I have several flying bug pokemon who would be willing to help," he offered her. This had been going on for long and it seemed like Mishu was their best hope.

The imp laughed as his opponent collapsed on the ground before him. He rushed over, picking up the crown and clearing away the thorns so that they wouldn’t hurt her. Then, he would walk over to give the Kakuna the safe crown that wouldn’t hurt her as he stared down at her now sleeping form. “You know, you weren’t too bad of a battler. And since you want to be a mighty Queen one day, I’ve fixed the crown for you so that it’ll fit properly on your head without hurting you.” Bugsy would have other plans, though, and recalled his Pokemon in a flash of red light before Yōsei’s eyes. He looked around in alarm, then over to Bugsy and hopped towards the GYM Leader. Confused and shaken by the sudden flash of light, the pink imp tried to lift the crown up to Bugsy so that the GYM Leader could at least take it from him.

“What’s this?” Bugsy glanced down and raised an eyebrow as he retrieved the gift that Yōsei had made for his Pokemon. He chuckled when he realized that it was just a crown of leaves that the other Pokemon had fastened, and marveled at the wonder of Yōsei’s creation as he felt it and realized that all of the thorns had been removed. “It seems that Yōsei really wanted your Kakuna to take that as a gift. Usually he…loves to play tricks. But I guess your Kakuna really touched his heart.” Mishu stated as she walked over to Bugsy and claimed her prize. She collected Bugsy’s GYM badge and carefully placed it up in her case next to Falkner’s badge, before tucking the case away inside of its safe spot in her bag. Then, she collected the other items that Bugsy offered easily and placed them up as well.

“It was an honor to battle you in an official GYM battle.” Mishu spoke sincerely as she took Bugsy’s hand and shook it. She appreciated the time she spent with the Bug Type enthusiast and hoped that she would one day get to visit him again. “Also, thank you for all the tips you have provided me about this mystery Pokemon. I promise, I will work respectfully alongside the villagers and any police force that I need to, to try and find this mystery Pokemon for your town. I won’t allow my team or anyone else to cause a disturbance while I search for it, either, if I can help it.” After she finished chatting with Bugsy to gather the rest of the details he could offer her about the mystery Pokemon, Mishu would turn away from Bugsy’s GYM and head out to search the town for the mystery Pokemon.
