Girafarig watched Marchbaby carefully as it reaches up to a tall branch on a tree and begins eating some leaves. It seems as though it might buck if Marchbaby isn't too careful, but also seems like it might want to know more about the strange trainer. Safari Encounter

As a second Girafarig appeared Marchbaby was quite shocked. The previous one was quite a sight as it was and somehow he had gotten lucky enough to capture it. This one appeared to be a bit stronger than the other one but he still wished to capture it so that he could have a breeding pair and one could be given to Kevin as a gift. As he watched the Girafarig looked like it might buck him at any moment so he made sure to keep some distance from the strange Pokemon not wanting to be sent flying by a random kick. After examining the creature for a few moments he finally decided to try his luck.
" Go Safari Ball, capture that Girafarig." He said as the ball sped towards it's target.

The Safari ball flew and then stopped mid air right in front of the girafarig. The pokemon took a step forward and stretched its neck as it sniffed the ball curiously, its eyes glowed as it held the pokeball floating. Then it flung it over its shoulder and looked eagerly at Marchbaby, what would he do next? Safari Encounter

As Girafarig easily broke out of the first Safari Ball Marchbaby was not surprised at all as the first Girafarig in the same way. It was a bit of a shame to see history repeat itself however like the first Girafarig this one did not run off either after the failed attempt. As low as the odds were that he could capture this Girafarig he wanted to give it another shot as he did not know how many more chances he would get to do so. He grabbed another Safari Ball and tossed it at the creature hoping this time luck would be on his side again." Go Safari Ball, capture that Girafarig." He then waited and prayed for a miracle as the ball sped towards the target.

Just like that! Girafarig bucked and reared, kicking its feet in the air in all directions after breaking out of the Safari Ball. After an unlucky bout with Girafarig Marchbaby continued to search the area for another Pokemon. As he could always breed the Girafarig he had captured already it was not a huge loss even if it was a shame. He had no idea what he might still encounter but there was still hope he would get another chance at the beast he really wanted. He had still not had any luck finding a hint of it but he was not discouraged. One way or another he was going to find it again. No matter how long it took he would someday claim the elusive beast as the ultimate safari zone capture.

Another long necked Pokemon raced across the open savannah, barrelling towards Marchbaby at a breakneck speed. Perhaps the last Girafarig had warned its friend and sent this one to chase after him? Hmm.... Safari Encounter

As yet another Girafarig appeared before him Marchbaby could hardly believe it. He knew they were not a super common species so running into three of them back to back was quite a lucky streak even if the previous one got away. " Ah another Girafarig, what a sight you are. I could certainly use another of your kind if your would like to come.with me." He then grabbed a Safari Ball and took aim at the strange Pokemon. It was not very likely that his plan would work but he could not let the chance to capture it slip through his grasp.

The girafarig reared, kicked the flying ball straight the ground and then stomped around on it to make sure it couldn't be used again. Safari Encounter

Despite Garafarig breaking the Safari Ball with hardly any effort Marchbaby was not discouraged as he still had plenty left and as the psychic type did not run off it meant he would get at least one more chance to snag the creature before it would have another chance to turn tail and run. He had already gotten lucky capturing the first one and could not complain too badly if another got away but he had to try as he had little doubt it could be a very useful Pokemon with the proper training and it could also be an interesting species to breed as well as he knew few trainers in the area would have one.
" I give you credit for acting so fast but I am not about to give up despite failing to catch you that time, so long as you do not run off I will keep trying until I run out of Safari Balls or I manage to get lucky again. I just know if I try hard enough I can convince you to come along with me." He said before tossing another ball hoping for better luck this time.

It could be discussed how lucky Marchbaby was, or perhaps it was the girafarig's doing? It looked at him wryly when he once again looped a ball on it, and half way it seemed to be caught by an non-existing wind and turned in a 90 degree angle away from the girafarig. It was certainly not going to just let itself get caught like that, why should it do so? Safari Encounter

Despite luck still not being on his side with this encounter Marchbaby was still eager as every to try and capture this Girafarig no matter how poor the odds were. As he grabbed another Safari Ball he took aim at the strange looking Pokemon and winded up another pitch." Still as skilled as ever at breaking out I see. Since you still have not fled however I have to keep trying my luck. Safari Ball capture this Girafarig." He said as the ball left his hand and sped towards it as Marchbaby crossed his fingers hoping for better luck.

As Marchbaby had predicted the Girafarig proved to be too tough to capture as it ran off after yet another failed capture attempt. He had already gotten lucky captuing one and figured that maybe his bad luck this time would lead to better luck with his next encounter. He still had quite a few encounters and Safari Balls left and the elusive beast that evaded him last time was still out there somewhere. If he could just get a lucky break maybe this would be the time he would avenge hisnprevious failure to secure the fearsome creature.
" A shame Girafarig got away but you cannot win them all. I wonder what else is around here?" He wondered to himself as he started to look for another Pokemon nearby.
