Like most of his opponents and victims, Shinya disregarded most of what Proton said to him, not thinking much of it. This was especially true after he had bested an entire squadron of Team Rocket members in a rather short span of time. Still, as he watched the executive run for his life, the Team Skull grunt couldn't resist sending one last jab his way. "Yeah! That's right! Keep on runnin', grandpa! Ya can run all ya want, but there's nowhere ya can hide from Team Skull! One day, we'll destroy all of ya, and your entire organization!" Shinya's voice once again echoed through the cavern, and he was positive that Proton heard every single word he shouted into the darkness, smirking as he stood tall, quite pleased with his victory.
Yanma seemed to be quite satisfied as well, having taken no damage at all, and smiling as she fluttered her four wings in delight. "We did it! We really showed them who's boss! Didn't we, boss?!" The Bug/Flying type turned to face her trainer, earning a nod and a light pat on the head from him as soon as he approached her. "Damn right we did, Yanma. No matter how that scrub tries to justify this loss to himself, it doesn't matter. Now, he's gonna go back to his boss and fellow executives, tell 'em what happened, and they're gonna know that Team Skull was responsible for ruinin' their little tail harvestin' operation down here. They won't be able to ignore us anymore."
Shinya chuckled to himself after that, looking and sounding very sure of himself and his words. Even if Team Rocket still didn't consider Team Skull to be a serious threat to their organization just yet, this instance would no doubt gain their attention. And when they came seeking revenge, Shinya and his Pokemon would prove to them that they were definitely not to be taken lightly. "Ya did good tonight, Yanma. All of ya did. I'm proud of ya. Now, get a good night's rest. Tomorrow, we destroy that pitiful upstart." The Alolan trainer was referring to the gym leader of Azalea Town, Bugsy, as he called Yanma back to her Pokeball for some well-earned sleep.
"We'll beat him, and beat him good, boss. We'd never let ya down. We love ya." Yanma managed to say to Shinya and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before returning to her red and white orb for the night. Unfortunately, Shinya didn't have any more time to bask in his victory over Team Rocket or the love of his Pokemon, as Kurt's voice and the sound of the approaching police caused him to lose his smirk and glance at them. Before responding to Kurt's words, Shinya grabbed the Lure Ball from him and eyed the wild Totodile, as the police released it and the Slowpoke from their cages. "Tch. Keep dreamin', old timer. This town and everyone in it are just more steppin' stones to me, and I'll gladly crush all of ya underneath my shoes. Especially that gym leader of yours."
The green-haired trainer spoke to Kurt in a very cold tone of voice, reminding the elderly man once again that he was most definitely not friendly or his friend. However, Shinya did figure that the Big Jaw Pokemon that looked back at him could come in handy in some way or another. So, with one good toss, Shinya captured the Totodile in the Lure Ball Kurt gave him, then watched as it was transported to his PC for safekeeping. "Y'all can clean up all this Team Rocket trash if ya want, but I'm goin' to bed. Do me a favor and tell Bugsy that tomorrow, I'm comin' for him next." With that, Shinya climbed back to the surface, making use of the ladder that the police used to get down into the Slowpoke Well themselves. Once he was out, Shinya made a quick trip to the Pokemon Center to heal up his Pokemon, then found himself a nice, shady tree to spend the night under.
OOC: I'll pass on having Yanma learn Supersonic. But please add the Totodile to Shinya's PC with its stats kept blank. Thank you kindly.
