Adventures of a Brave Little Bug [Escapade]

When one was a tiny little scatterbug in big, big world, it was easy to want to shrink and hide. But Bug wasn't one to shy away from adventure. She'd come a long way and now was with a new trainer that she hadn't quite figured out yet. He wasn't like the sickly boy that took care of her before...though whether that was a good thing or not had yet to be seen.


It was evening after their first day together, and well, Bug found herself with an itch to explore this giant world that suddenly seemed so open compared to before. She was OUTSIDE. She could...look around... Oh! And climb that rock. She'd never climbed a rock that big before. No. It wasn't just a rock. It was a mountain! With a chitter, Bug launched into her daring quest to scale the great New Bark Mountain. Who knew what dangers awaited? She would be fearless in the face of any threat and dare to do what no scatterbug ever did before. Through the rusting forest of doom (totally not just tall grass) and over the bridge of disaster (a fallen branch), Bug trudged onward until she emerged on the other side and arrived at the foot of the mountain (rock). 

I will reach your peak and declare myself your conqueror!

She faltered for just a moment. Hm. She needed...oh, a hat! With a jolly little bounce, she chewed through the stem of a nearby flower and wriggled it onto her head. There. Protection from any horrible rock falls! 

Bug then threw herself at that mountain and trekked higher and higher and after a hard fought journey she at last stood on top of the world! A strong breeze then suddenly tugged at the flower and gusted it right off her head and down into the forest of doom. Oh no! She couldn't be without her adventure hat. Bug scrambled down the mountain to find it, pushing through the thick blades of grass, steadily getting further and further away from her trainer's camp without realizing how far she'd strayed...

It is the forest that Blink likes to go to rest, for serenity that flows as cool and refreshing river waters. There is always something about the golden sparkle within the peaceful azure sky that warms his body and restores his inner strength. Above the small fairy/grass-type Pokemon, waved the great arms, clothed in greens of every color to protect him from any unwanted predators. In the majestic forest, Blink feels so loved and important as if he is member of a royal family. it did not have to sit around in the Professor's lab and pray or wish that his trainer will decide to pick him up and train him a bit. He could simply just enjoy the vibe of the enchanting forest without any major worries or problems.

Blink had found himself starting to doze off for a few seconds, however, after he heard the sound or something or someone approaching him he quickly decided to open his beady eyes to take a careful glance around his surroundings. "Who is there?! Reveal yourself! he called out to them. Was it a Pokemon hunter or a dangerous Wild Pokemon approaching him? Who or whatever it is, he is prepared to take them on! He prepared himself to strike the mysterious figure. However, he soon lowered his guard a bit after realizing that it was only a small bug approaching him.

"Hey! Are you lost or something? This is kinda my secret place," Blink spoke out, carefully hopping over to the bug-type Pokemon to get a better view of it.

Bug froze when she heard a strange voice calling to her. Who? What? Oh. Her big eyes blinked a few times as the mystical mushroom drew closer, demanding to know who she was and why she was there. Entranced by the magical glow of the fairy-type, Bug could only stare for a long moment before her senses returned to her with a skitter of cool wind against her antenna.

"O-oh, I'm Bug. And I'm so not lost," she replied, looking around with a growing sense of realization and dread. "I'm just...on an adventure! You see, I was climbing this mountain when..." Footsteps crunched through the grass and a great, tall figure with red hair moved past. (Heading in the direction of New Bark Town.) They didn't look very friendly... Not all humans did. This one gave her the shivers just watching him walk by. She was seized by a sudden worry for her trainer and other pokemon and... They should keep an eye on that human. Make sure he didn't do anything bad. Wait. What was she doing again? Oh, right, telling the Morelull about why she stumbled into their hiding spot. "—When this big, scary human took my hat! He just went by. I can't let that dastardly fiend escape!" 

Not that she could really do anything but spy on him.

But if he did anything bad or mean she'd know right away and be able to go back to her trainer to warn him! Yes. Exactly. She was on a quest now. Her hat could wait if it meant going boldly where no scatterbug had gone before!

Blink continued to stare at the small Bug-type Pokemon with intensity, listening to Bug explained its reasoning for wandering into his territory. "Ha! You can't fool me! I can tell by your expressions that you're in fact lost! Poor Bug! You have no idea how dangerous this place can be, do you?" Blink responded with a small grin. However, the grin would eventually fade another noticing the rather large figure bypass them.

"You're here because a human took your hat? I suppose this hat must be very special, huh? Well, how about this... I will help you find your little hat. The sooner we find this hat then the sooner you will be able to leave my secret place," Blink stated with a slightly warmer smile shown over his face. "My name is Blink b the way," he added, finally introducing himself to Bug.

"Now, what does this hat of yours look like, huh?" he asked her.

"W-well Blink, I'm Bug," the little bug announced. A very apt name indeed. It's as if she was named by a small, uncreative child and didn't the see the issue with it at all. "And like I said, I'm totally not lost. Nuh-uh. The human that took my hat is like...super tall like all humans are. And...um...his head? Hair? Is like...red. Really red. Like ledyba wings red just without the spots. And he's really creepy. Just looking at him makes your insides wiggle in a bad way." Pause. She cocked her head. "Do you have insides? You look kinda like stuff that is for eating just really glowy." 

Then again, a spearow or taillow would likely say the same thing. A bug was a bug and bugs were tasty noms indeed.

"As for my hat, it is super cool. I made it out of a flower. So it has these white petals and a green bit on the top..."

Bug? Well, that is a generic name if Blink has ever heard of one. Blink sighed as he listened to the caterpillar-like Pokémon go on and on about some special hat and an oversized human. At this point, the Grass/Fairy-type Pokémon simply wanted to go back to tranquil state of mind. Unfortunately, it did not seem like it would happen any time too soon. He blinked his eyes when Bug asked him if he had any "insides". "What is it to you? You better not think once about taking a bite out of me or else I'll let the beast of this forest deal with you," He attempted to threaten Bug before turning his back against her.

After taking a few seconds to think everything over, Blink would turn his body back around to face her. "So, if I help you get this hat of yours back, will you leave my secret base?" He asked, raising an eyebrow... If he even has those on his face.
