As soon as Mama finished her battle her stomach started to rumble. By the time Marchbaby figured out what was going on the young Trapinch had already buried her head into his backpack looking for some snacks to fill up on and within a few seconds she had devoured three Rare Candies and two Candy Canes Marchbaby had been saving in case they would ever come in handy. As soon as Marchbaby tried to grab the young ground type she started to glow in a bright white light that shined through the incoming snow storm and seconds later she had completed her evolution as she evolved into a beautiful Vibrava.
" Oh my goodness you finally did it Mama! You evolved into a Vibrava, we might want to keep you out of this hail being part dragon type now but goodness this is fantastic news. We really should find someplace less dangerous for you to be in now that you are calmer and more vulnerable to ice." As he recalled the young dragon for the time being he decided to look up the weather in the Johto region to see if any area was more fitting to train her and Blubber as snow storms would make it very hard to do so safely. After hearing the weather was not great anywhere Goldenrod sounded like the best option as the snow as not as strong as it was here.
He had also seen reports of a strange ghost type Pokemon resembling tumbleweed swarming in Goldenrod which easily settled any internal debate he had of moving on for the time being. " I hate to leave so quickly Kevin but poor Mama will not last long in this weather. Hopefully the next time we meet it will be warmer so most of our Pokemon will be more comfortable. I hope your journey continues to go well." Marchbaby then made his way back towards the largest city in the Johto region. He knew it would be a trek but at least the trees in Ilex Forest would offer some protection to him as he made his way through it.
As he traversed the forest he could hardly wait to reach his destination and after walking for what felt like ages a sign came into view up ahead pointing to route 34. " Oh good we are almost there. I hope we can avoid any trouble for a while so we can keep training."
OOC: Using 3 Rare candies and 2 Candy Canes to evolve Mama into Vibrava. She keeps her current moves and changes ability to Levitate. She already has max happiness so she does not gain any extra from the Candy Canes. She has 0/3781 exp towards the next level. Closing this thread and moving onto route 34.
