Smokey bit down on the caterpie who struggled the best it could but it was held tight and wouldn't get anywhere, it sprayed sticky threads everywhere although Aglaia failed to see how that should help. With a pokemon as tight up as the green bug not even Aglaia could miss her target and she stuck her tongue out as she aimed, but then changed her mind and half ran over to Smokey and simply tapped the bug with it.
Caterpie calmed down as it realized what she was doing and it smiled relieved as it got sucked inside, the ball almost didn't shake before it laid still and the other sports ball bursted open to release the matapod. The other green bug looked surprised at Aglaia, that hadn't been long it had been inside, it looked around as good as it could and had it been able to move, it would have nodded pleased with what it saw. This place was undisturbed and would be the perfect place for it to wait out its evolution. Aglaia looked down at it, and the picked it up to place it near the bottom of the statue where it would be well hidden and protected, she gave it a reassuring pat before she turned to her hippopotas.
Metapod sighed, it really had been fate.

"We still have some time left, let's see what else this place has in store for us," Aglaia said, hoping that it was something else than caterpies the old man had meant when he suggested this place. Of course whatever it had been might have run off or got caught already, even though the grass hadn't had any signs of anyone having been around here.
"He could of course just have tricked me," she mumbled but didn't really believe it, what would he have gained from that?

The overgrown clearing seemed empty as Smokey and Aglaia looked around, checking the tall grass and trying to find what the gentleman had hinted at. "It would be easier if he had said what to look for," Aglaia mumbled as the eyes of the statue followed her. Smokey snorted and trotted back to the path where she stopped to look back at Aglaia expectantly.
"Wait..." the trainer said as she frowned and looked at the head of the statue, and then scrambled back when a pair of huge eyes followed her.
"What.. what is that?!" She exclaimed in a not so positive way and the blipbug lowered its head sadly.
"Hippo!" Smokey shouted eagerly and came bounding over to look challenging at the big-eyed bug up on the statue, it tilted its head as it looked down at her.
"What a weird one, but again, we have living pokeballs, what would you expect?" Aglaia said dryly to herself and scanned it with her pokedex. "Blip.. blipbug," she tasted the name and then pulled the list out of her backpocket, her eyes widened when she read it.
"She really already got one?" she said puzzled to herself and looked at the bug again and then shrugged.

"It seems friendly enough, so we can just as well leave," Aglaia said and turned halfway away, "Potas!" Smokey refused and took a step forward staring at the blipbug, this was a pokemon she had never faced before and she wanted to learn what it could do. The Blipbug looked back unfaced.'
"Alright then, if you want to battle it, then give it some crunches," Aglaia sighed and crossed her arms as she waited.
