"Yeah, it's heavy, but as long as we don't drop it and break the box, the stuff inside can be tilted at odd angles just fine. So we can lower it onto one side and ease down the other," Simon said as they worked as a team to maneuver the box. Tangela, in an effort to adjust his grip, ended up wrapping a vine OVER the little tadbulb by accident, binding him against the side, plastering his face to the hard plastic shell. Which meant that the tangela fully deserved that indignant spark in return. Tangela, a seasoned pro, didn't let go and likely drop the crate onto the toes of the humans, and instead just sapped a little health from the sparky pokemon to soothe the little scorched vine. "I know it feels like we're hauling rocks here, but it's actually tools. We will need them for setting up the stall and anything that has metal supports. Those wireless drills man, they can weigh a ton...and the screws and bolts? Probably should have packed everything into small containers but, here we are. Okay, now...on the count of three, slowly lower your side...one...two...three!" Festival Prep Weather: Clear [attr="class","qkt-bkgd"] [attr="class","qkt-wild-pkmn"] Tangela LV 6 HP 76% [19/25]

"I shall do my best," Aglaia grunted as she tried to take over the box and support it on its way down from the car. She grunted and puffed as she worked with it, it was a long time since she had had worked physically like this. She winced and almost dropped the box when Delos protested loudly and crackles of electricity danced around, she opened one eye carefully but couldn't see him, even though he was still complaining loudly. "Are you okay Delos? Can it wait until we have put this one down?" She called and tried to look at the others who might have an idea of what was going on with him, and if he was in big trouble. "Oh! We better get this box down as fast as possible!" She exclaimed when she was told and stuck her tongue out as she concentrate on Simon's guidance to get it lowered to the ground. Then she would quickly check up on her poor squeezed pokemon and apply some medicine if needed. Work related accidents could happen, but now she had learned first hand how sudden and unpredictable they could be.
Delos grunted as he pushed the box with all his strength, waving his tail in the air as if he was swimming and it could propel him forward. Something suddenly pushed him hard against the box and he shouted out a warning and a plea to have them stop, as he got crushed against the box. He screamed louder and louder as they didn't react on it, and he released a thunder shock to force them to let go, straining against the bond as much as he could. That didn't work either so in desperation he let lose another in the hope that would help, it wasn't like he could do something else.

Hosting a festival had become a profound tradition of Cherrygrove City, it was an opportunity for people from long and far to visit the quaint town and experience the best that the region had to offer. Festival preparation was the type of operation that tended to run smoothly with many volunteer hands on deck ready to assist wherever needed. The diversity in skills and abilities meant certain individuals and their pokemon companions were best suited for specific roles while the rest were left with numerous odd jobs that often may be overlooked by many, but never underappreciated. Simon was grateful to have Aglaia alongside him aiding him in pushing through the setting up process, the pair of humans' pokemon however were struggling to exhibit the same cohesion that their human partners possessed.
The joys of many moving parts, no matter how many hands were on deck was that accidents were bound to happen, that appeared to be the very case as the small amphibian Pokémon with a spherical yellow head found himself crushed against the box that they had been attempting to move despite his best efforts of strength. Aglaia had bent over to apply some medicine to her electric type tadpole pokemon, a temporary fix that would allow him to bounce back into the swing of things. Simon had a look of concern on his face as he noticed Aglaia take a temporary pause in setting up to attend to her pokemon's workplace injuries,
Are you sure he is going to be alright? We can take him to the medical tent to get checked up if you'd like?
Simon realized that his suggestion would no doubt set him back time wise in setting things up, however the humane instinct of care was paramount to him, he was always thankful of whatever assistance he was given in the festival preparation process, so to repay that kindness would be a small drop in the bucket for the busy man.
'Aglaia, do you feel comfortable on the tools? It would be a great help if we could put some screws and bolts in these metal supports quick smart! Tangela would you mind retrieving them from the box for me please buddy?'
Tangela had ended up with another of his little vines scorched as a result of Aglaia's Tadbulb crying out for them to stop the moving process due to him being crushed, a simple fix for the grass type as he sapped a little bit more health from the electric type pokemon to heal his wounds. The plant Pokémon covered by blue, seaweed-like vines begun to shake the box that contained the power tools inside, whilst doing so, the movement of the vine pokemon's body appeared to produce a red powder that was not going to help anybody's health, certainly not the already workplace injured Tadbulb! With pokemon who had not really tried this kind of work before, with little idea of what would be the best course of action and with a body type which didn't really fit well with tasks made up by humans, with the way of how humans worked in mind. Tangela was a good fit, having tried it before and being able to do most, if not even more, of a what human was able to, with her vines. Lillipup was just usually great at team work and with four legs and a mouth could help out wtih a lot of dragging and such. Two tadpoles, on in the air and one on the ground, and an acorn with only a pair of stubby legs were not really build for something as hauling boxes and camping chairs. They would probably have been great helping at the festival itself when it was running, guide people, guard stuff and light up, or whatever smaller task was needed, but less so at this kind of preparation. Aglaia glanced at Simon and then looked back at Delos when they had gotten the box down at the ground, Aglaia had been holding a big majority of it when Delos had called out the warning, otherwise Tangela would have been able to let go of him immediately instead of having kept squeezing him. "I don't think it's needed," she decided as Delos shook his body and floated up high to make sure he was out of reach of the others. "But moving boxes is probably not the best kind of work for my pokemon, and we need to be sure where everyone are when we start a task, to avoid accidents," she said, just as much to herself so that she could remember and avoid something similar in the future. "Yes of course, my parents has always thought I should be able to handle basic things on my own," Aglaia said then smiled wryly, "depends on what kind of tools of course and what kind of work."She frowned confused, "but what is it you want build or supported here?" she asked and couldn't help but feel that he just wanted her out of his way so that she, or rather her pokemon wouldn't be in the way. "What?!" Aglaia would exclaim when spores filled the air and she would stagger back coughing, feeling how the paralyzing spores burned her throat and stuck in her lungs and made it hard to breath. "Why *cough* stop!*cough*" she gasped for air and tried to get out of the cloud. Delos soared right into the cloud and released a burst of electricity in an attempt to neutralize the spores, "stop that! You're hurting the humans!" He snapped at the tangela, "what did you do that for?"(ooc: Delos used Thunder Shock, let's just keep bind damage ooc? Not sure how to keep describing him being caught when they are trying to help each other, hehe)

"Probably not...they're rather small, but they seem enthusiastic." Simon said. "As for what we're building. We could use another tent here. And some of the booths will be set up over there. The power tools will be useful for making sure everything is sturdy and stable and will save our arms from trying to use a screw driver on it all!" He laughed a bit. Of course, he too was a bit startled when the tangela's accidental discharge of pollen ended up causing everyone—including him—to start coughing. "Woah, woah. tangela. Buddy. Pal. Careful. We talked about this. You can't get too excited and shed pollen. See, your little helper friend is upset now." The tangela looked up at the poor crushed tadbulb that looked indignant that his trainer was sent into a coughing fit by his spores. The blob of vines warbled a bit. <Sorry!> it said. <Accident.> It reached up and tried to give the tadbulb an apology hug, but the little tadpole was just so small. Simon rubbed his face, then sneezed, "Yeesh. Uh, let me get a water bottle and a napkin. That way we can both get this stun spore off of us, yeah?" Aglaia nodded, she should be able to build something like that, and hopefully her pokemon could help hold things steady for her while she fastened stuff. Not that she had tried to build booths or tents before, only tent she knew of was the small one for camping and no screws were used for that. She had build fixture for her parents' shop when they had upgraded it some years ago, and they had always taught her how to do quick repairs since you could save a lot of money then, if you could avoid hiring some expensive worker for that. She didn't get to say much as the cloud of spores spread and she staggered out of it coughing violently.
Delos glared at the bundle of vines below him, accident or not, he began to think this pokemon had no clue of what it was doing and was a danger to its surroundings. At least it looked like his electricity had cleared most of the polled cloud and a lot of it was raining down on the ground instead of swirling around and getting inhaled by the others. A vine stretched towards him and he flinched before anger rose up in him. "Don't touch me!" He snapped and sent a little bolt of electricity at the vine to deter it. He did not want it to get anywhere close to him.
"Delos!" Aglaia gasped and went into another coughing fit, she could really use some water. It worried her though that her pokemon directly attacked the other, this was not a battle and they were supposed to work together. She could understand where Delos was coming from though, with how unlucky he had been at the receiving end she could understand he got frustrated. Better separate those two until things had cooled down a bit, and avoid any accidents.

Electricity sparked around the irritated Tadbulb before it was released, coming down hard on the Tangela. Shaking with convulsions, the grass type closed its eyes in pain and when the current finally cut off, the Tangela swayed on its feet. It was hard to tell if the Pokemon was going to attack again or not, before it collapsed face first into the grass. While it was unfortunate that they were now down one helpful Pokemon, at least for a little while, now the Tangela could rest and maybe not cause any more incidents with its powders. Simon returned just as the Tangela collapsed, frowning. The heaping mass of vines disappeared in a beam of red light before Simon turned to Aglaia. "Here, some fresh, cold bottled water and a hankerchef to wash out your eyes if you need to. Again, I'm sorry about that. Not sure what got into Tangela. Anyway, we can move forward and put the first tent together. We just need to get the support bottom pieces out and then screw them into place. After that, just have to put the cloth over the top. Are you good with that?" he asked, holding the bottle of water out to her. The said pieces were close by, and the rods were clearly marked with where the screws would fit in. Delos glared at the tangela as it collapsed but then the anger evaporated off him and he slumped a bit and looked guilty when he realized what he had done. He glanced at Aglaia and then averted his eyes, not being able to look at any of the others. He was meant to work together with them, not attack them! This was terrible team work.
Aglaia gratefully grabbed the bottle and quickly gulped down some water to clean her throat. "Much better, thank you," she said relieved and poured some water in her hand which she used to clean her face. "I'm very sorry for Delos' actions, I will do all I can for it to not happen again," She promised as she wiped her face the best she could. Delos slowly floated down to the ground, looking like he wanted to sink all the way down. Even Aglaia could see he felt bad. "I can understand you were frustrated, but please try not let it run off with you like that," she said worried and he moved a bit in what could look like a nod.
The young woman clapped her hands together, they didn't have time to stand around idle, they had a job to do. "Yes, that looks simple enough, and then we secure the cloth to the ground in the end, right?" She asked and grabbed the first bottom pieces and looked them over to see how they were supposed to be screwed together before she began the work. The first part her pokemon couldn't help much with, but when it came to screw on the supports for the sides, and especially when they needed to spread the cloth over, they really could help out. Agnes and Chestnut could hold it down while Delos helped getting the other part over the supports.
Aglaia stepped away from the tent to take a look at their work, "what do you say?" She asked Simon but just then a crash was heard from where the tables and chairs had been placed earlier. "What is going on?!" Aglaia exclaimed as she spun around, she frowned as a part of the tables they had set up were not laying down, but she couldn't see why. "Come with me, and be alert," she said quietly to her pokemon and reluctantly walked closer to see what was going on.
(ooc: removing level from Sytten again, since he's not on this team ^^)

Many vendors were busy running through the festival to ensure that their shops were up and ready for the citizens and tourists that might travel through Cherrygrove for the event. They were excited, bustling with information about their homemade goods and gossiped about previous events of the past. Some strolled away on their own breaks, disappearing in a thick hazy fog that had quietly and quickly swept through the area, making it harder to see. “Yes! My son is helping us out this year!” An older woman whose face was freshly freckled from cheek to cheek twirled her long brunette hair with one finger and whistled with a wide smile. She gestured towards a tiny boy, who stared up almost dumbfoundedly. “It’s just SO GOOD to see people keep things in the family!” The other woman that the first had been talking to commented, staring down at the seven year old with a wide smile. “Don’t worry, Jonah. You’ll do a great job this year! It’s in your blood. This was your great-grandfather’s long before your parents took it over, and one day it’ll be all yours too!” She gushed, reaching down to pull the small child into a tight hug. “I…will?” The shy kid spoke up, as though he doubted himself, and tried to politely pull away. “Well, of course! You’re a Duvinor! Duvinor’s are never defeated because they never give up!” The other woman laughed, with a wink to the child’s mother. All of this, mind you, would be thrown to the wayside as a small pink cat hopped up on the Duvinor’s shop stand and snatched a small case of pumpkin and leaf shaped cookies. It dashed off, knocking over chairs and tables in its wake, as the women shouted after the cat and others tried in vain to try and catch it, as well. The Skitty knew that there were treats to be had all to itself! It could smell them! And these cookies weren’t just legendary amongst the citizens who called Cherrygrove home, either! They’d were objects of desire by many wild Pokemon, who often begged the women with sweet looking eyes. “You’ll never catch me!” Skitty laughed, dashing off only to run head-first into Aglaia and her team. Aglaia didn't wait to see what Simon did, she carefully moved closer to the toppled tables, expecting a wild pokemon to make some troubles with the risk of some battling, unfortunately. As she came closer, a pink kitten raced out for behind a fallen chair and disappeared into the gathering crowd, the stall owners began to arrive and set up. They needed to hurry if they wanted to be done before the festival officially started! Delos and Chestnut helped her set the tables and chairs back up and Aglaia had the intention of going back to Simon and help him with the rest of the tents, but fate wanted it differently.
Shouting was heard and Aglaia turned only to see the same skitty racing towards her, this time with something in its mouth she was sure it hadn't been given, not with how the humans shouted behind it as they gave chase. Chestnut was the first to act, and she waddled forward to intercept the cat, only for it to leap over her and continue its getaway. Agnes flopped forward and Aglaia bit her lip, the tympole was probably not going to be able to do much difference here. Grimly she found a pokeball and hurled it at the skitty.

"Somebody please catch that feral Skitty!" The Duvinor woman cried out for help, or attention, since Aglaia was already on the case. Even though the young woman's Pokemon were trying to help, they just looked comical in their attempt to do so. Hurling a Pokeball, the runaway Skitty got sucked by the capture device as the sphere dropped on the ground. The feline Pokemon struggled inside the device for a bit, but then it ended with another congratulatory DING! As if that wasn't enough, one of the foldable chairs the Skitty was somehow strong enough to tipped it out of balance, also made a loud KLING! sound, as the object fell to the floor's soft grass. "Thank you so much, young woman! Thank you for halting that little rascal!" The older woman came by, expressing her gratitude of Aglaia's help. "Do you want to come by the bakery section and patrol for wild Pokemon instead? The street food section probable have enough helpers." She asked, as the women followed behind her awaited the response. Although the festival hadn't start yet, volunteers could also help patrol the section for stray Pokemon who might cause a ruckus, while the booth owners would focus on their sales.

Aglaia's tense expression slowly turned surprised as her throw was really good and she managed to hit the skitty. "I, I did it!" She said quietly to herself and a smile spread wide on her face, "I'm getting better at this! I even hit it even though it was running!" Had she not been in a rather crowded place, she would probably have done a little victory dance, but now she just couldn't stop smiling. She jumped startled though, when the chair fell over. A woman came over as Aglaia was picking up the pokeball and she paused on her way to right up the chair. She rubbed her neck bashfully, "that was nothing, I was just at the right place at the right time," she said humbly, "I'm just glad I managed to hit it with the pokeball now my pokemon couldn't stop it," she admitted, and her thoughts strayed briefly to think about what to do with the skitty. She was not going to keep a troublemaker.
"I'm sorry what?" she said although she caught up with what had been said before the woman got a chance to answer, "oh, patrol the area," she said and didn't sound very enthusiastic. She looked over at where Simon was standing, it looked like there weren't really any more booths to put together. "I guess so, but I'll need to ask Simon first to make sure it's okay," she said, she much rather wanted to do some other kind of practical stuff but she knew she was probably too late to get some other kind of volunteer work now the festival was about to start. Keeping wild pokemon from making too much trouble was also important. She walked over to Simon and reluctantly accepted to the guard work when he confirmed her suspicion that there were little left for her to do here.
