The Lilligant summoned her magical flurry of honing leaves missile again, and this time she went after Penelope's Vivillon. Horizon flew high and low, left and right, 45 degrees and 225 degrees, cosine and sine, and despite all of her effort, the bug and flying type with double resistance to the Magical Leaves was still knocked out by the incoming attack. Her body and wings fell on the sandy beach, unconscious from the powerful attack. However, Aphrodite's majestic Gardevoir channeled her inner mental attack and gave the opponent a strong mind squeeze. The Lilligant was finally fallen and unconscious. "We-- WE DID IT!" Penelope jumped up and down, kicking off the sand from her feet as she cheered. In addition, as the Pokemon battle, the giant Pokemon released its energy into.... prizes? Strange things fell onto the ground and Penelope picked up her shares. Penelope paused and picked up her share, and didn't have a chance to resume her conversation before she returned to Johto. "Wow! That feels good to win! Do you want to have a go again? I'll just need to go to Pokemon Center and swap some Pokemon and then I'll be back!" The young girl grinned and then waved a short goodbye as she skipped to the Pokemon Center. |

Aphrodite's warm, amber eyes, widened as she watched the Lilligant fall down in defeat. Without any hesitation, she started jumping up and down in the air with her younger partner, celebrating their first victory! "Finally, our hard work paid off! It really paid off!" She shouted as she continued to celebrate with Penelope. The celebration was soon cut short after she noticed prizes emerging from the explosion of light. She swiftly gathered up a few items for herself with the help of her Pokémon's psychic abilities. After she stored the items away, Aphrodite returned her Titania back to her orb for a nice rest. "Sure! I feel a lot better now that we've at least defeated one of them! Maybe, just make we can do it again. Plus, we seem to get some pretty cool prizes from beating them, too!" She replied back to her partner. "Let's meet back up here in about 10 minutes or so!" She suggested before running off in the direction of the Pokémon Center.

Maybe Penelope had celebrated too early, because now standing in front of them was an intimidating literal fish out of the water. This aquatic opponent Pokemon just looked like it existed out of spite, and would tear their Pokemon if it had wanted. The young picnicker didn't exactly bring a few Pokemon who could be great with grass or electric or dark type attacks. so she would have to make her decision extremely carefully. For someone like her who would love winning, losing yet again wouldn't be a great mood for her to handle.
"Heh. This one looked difficult already." She wasn't going to comment on this fish's elegance or beauty, not at all. "Would it help if my Pokemon slow it down instead? Horizon, this one's tough but start off with a Stun Spore!" She hurled her Pokeball and released the flying bug Pokemon with split chromatic tones. The humble bug flew around Penelope excitedly, and then when she was ready, she would fly toward the giant fish with wings full of spores.

Aphrodite bit down on her bottom lip as her warm amber eyes locked in on their next opponent. A terrifying fish-like Pokémon with brightly colored scales. Despite its sparkling scales reflecting from the sunlight above, the Pokémon razor sharp fangs and elongated body made it look extremely dangerous and even deadly. This opponent will not be a pushover at all, and she hopes that their Pokémon will be able to make a couple of moves before being knocked out by it.
A nervous smirk touched the corners of Aphrodite's lips as she nodded her head to her partner's words. "Desperate times call for desperate measures. We should do whatever we can to slow this one down and weaken its power," she replied back to Penelope. Aphrodite then withdrew a Poke Ball, summoning her gorgeous and elegant Florges.
"Raisa, use Wish!"

The Basculegion made a cry and then blasted a stream of water and hosed the Florges up and down to hose the fairy type. The Florges didn't like being soaked in water with the motions she made. Then, Penelope's Vivillon flew around the opponent, using the opportunity to scatter paralytic yellow powders that successful stunned the Basculegion, as she watched it shuddered a little from the onset of surprise paralysis. Raise made a wish upon the sky in this strange dimension. The Basculegion seemed to be targeting the fairy type by swimming forward to give it a mighty crunch with those jaws.
"Nice, great job Horizon! That Paralysis should buy us some time, or opportunity." Hopefully. Penelope clapped excitedly. "Now, go for a Psybeam!" She quickly called out her next move. While her Vivillon was mostly used for defensive and strategic tactics, the majestic fluttering insect Pokemon hadn't learn a powerful attack yet for surprise offense.

A scornful expression was shown over Raisa's face the moment she felt the blast of her water soak the precious flowers on her feminine body. How dare this hideous fish-like creature attempt to ruin her beautiful appearance?! The Florges carefully shook water droplets dripping from her body before making a quick wish right before the opponent happened to strike her with its powerful fangs. The pure fairy-type Pokémon let out a painful vocalization as the sharp fangs dug deeply inside of her body. Aphrodite could not help but close her eyes tightly and let out a painful hiss, as if she could feel the damage that her Pokémon had to endure. "I know that was a powerful hit, but you have to hang in there!" Aphrodite called out to her Pokémon after opening her warm amber eyes.
Luckily for their team, Penelope's brilliant Bug/Flying-type was able to slow down their opponent's speed quite a bit. Hopefully, the effects will last long enough for them to turn the battle around in their favor. "Let's show it what you're made of Raisa, Petal Dance!" Raisa went into a dazzling spin and glowing pink petals release from her body in a twister-like fashion at her opponent.

OOC: Horizon had Shell Bell next mod post when using Psybeam (if it don't faint)
Penelope felt that they were making progress, which was good so far as they would need any kind of strategy to take down this giant fish with sharp teeth and a mean facial expression. With the paralysis set in, at least their Pokemon would be much faster now, and they could use it to their advantage. The flying bug blasted a Psybeam at the opponent, as brilliant multi-colored rays were fired from Horizon's eyes. IT didn't do much to the opponent, but that wasn't Penelope's goal. Then, her fairy type floral Pokemon spun elegantly and sent a flurry of pink petals at the opponent. The Florges kept on dancing to unleash and to conjure more petals.
"We're doing so far so good, Horizon! It might bite hard but we're going to fight back hard too! Use another Psybeam again!" The young trainer cheered for her Pokemon and then called out her next move. Vivillon hummed and buzzed and then fluttered toward the Basculegion for another round of Psybeam.

The opponent almost hits as hard as Ursaluna, whom the duo had to face off against earlier. Luckily, Raisa was able to hold on enough for her Wish to come true. A white light of healing energy engulfed the Fairy-type Pokémon's body, restoring her health and healing any minor wounds that inflicted her body.
"Keep it up, Raisa! We can't let up right now!" Aphrodite called out to her, watching the gorgeous, glowing flowers continue to dance around her Pokémon's body in an elegant manner. Raisa let out a loud battle cry before firing another storm of petals in the direction of her opponent.

Eviolite deerling use Feint Attack
just noting Boss Shockwave was used
The Basculegion blasted a rapid-fire stream of water at the brilliant Vivillon, knocking out the bug type instantly as Horizon fell to the sandy ground. Then, the beautiful Florges continue dancing and sent her flurry of leaves at the water type, but sadly the Basculegion refused to be fileted. The fish groaned and then enacted a few layers of shimmering barriers.
This was quite expected, and Penelope was surprised her Vivillon lasted that long. She held out a Pokeball to return her Pokemon. "You did great, Horizon! Have a great rest!" She quickly grabbed another sphere and tossed it out into the sand, releasing a Deerling with santa hat on his head. "Come on out, Beets! Use Feint Attack and crack the barrier!"
"Ooh! That's a big fish!" He bleated to comment. Then, turning to his companion. "I like your... red head!" He wasn't sure if that's a good introduction, but the Florges's red face or head was intriguing.

Raisa's beautiful dance finally came to an end after being able to hit her opponent with a powerful hit. "Your Petal Dance was both beautiful and powerful, Raisa. You danced wonderfully well," Aphrodite smiled at her Pokémon, genuinely pleased with her performance thus far. Raisa let out a soft, cheerful cry as she bowed her head at her trainer to thank her for the kind compliment. Unfortunately, Raisa's cheerful mood soon faded away after watching her partner fall down in defeat.
Luckily. Penelope was not down for the count just yet. The young trainer still has another Pokémon that she can fight with on her team. A rather cute and adorable one as a matter of fact. "Aww, he's so cute!" Aphrodite complimented Penelope's Pokémon, admiring its festive appearance.
Raisa blushed then giggled at Beets comment. It was unexpected, yet rather cute and innocent? "And I like your red nose," she complimented the young fawn before turning her attention back towards the battle. "Raisa, let's use this opportunity to make another Wish!" Aphrodite ordered her Florges. The Fairy-type closed eyes then concentrated on making another useful wish.
