Notes Swapping Mimosa for Blasty Searching for Pokemon Now night time
|
Nate cocked his head to the side slightly when Beth smiled over their discussion. "So I take it that this is your last Pokémon to face then." He smiled since it meant that the battle was almost over. "I hope to face you again to see what other Pokemon you are training up, who knows maybe next time I will be using different Pokemon."
Nate did have to wonder what Beth would do now, since Luck had a major advantage over Storm and would be a tough battle for it to win, but so fare he was quite impressed with her Pokemon and the moves that they know so couldn't wait to see what surprised lied before him. "Luck don't let something like some dust stop you! End it with this one attack."
"That is quite simple. I named her Luck because it was by a stroke of luck that I found her ill trainer who wanted me to show him every form of Vivillion. Hence the name Luck." He simply commented.
Luck looked on annoyed as Storm hopped along the ground to dodge her, but she managed to keep pace with the it. She shot down and bit down on to the grass type Pokemon hoping to do exactly what her trainer wanted her to do. Luck let out a happy squeal when the the eggs passed out on to the ground from just a single attack.
"Come back, Luck." Nate said. Luck flew back over to Nate and landed on his shoulder. Nate returned Mimosa to her poke ball and put it away. He looked at the things that the breeder handed to him. "It was a tough challenge indeed, I am glad that I managed to come out on top." Nate looked over the items and put them away into his bag. He made his way back to the pokemon centre and swapped his grass type out for his water type Pokemon before he returned to the route with it now becoming dark.

Upon exiting the pokemon center into the night air, Nate would see puddles on the road. Nothing too unusual. During the day, children would splash through them and sometimes water pokemon would be drawn to them for a bit of fun. But today, there were no pokemon to be seen...at least, not until he reached the mouth of the route he was on before, where the grass became taller and the path less defined. There, wiggling like it had just found the best place to have a good dance break, was a bellsprout. It twisted and swayed, almost as if it was trying out to become one of the sprouts that lived in the tower. Back and forth, wibble and wobble, swing and sway. Upon spotting Nate, it wiggled more aggressively. FEAR THE WIGGLES!!! A [LV 10] Bellsprout is wiggling around in a puddle

Notes Vui sent out Vui returned Levi sent out Levi used False Swipe
|
Just as Nate exited the pokemon centre to search for some new Pokemon, he noticed some puddles on the road illuminated by the street lamps, they would be perfect for Pokemon to hide themselves as some could camouflage themselves with their surroundings via a ability or move. But he didn't notice anything to out place so he continued on his journey, before he could travel to far onto the route that he was just on he noticed something wiggled onto the path in the darkness. Nate remained where he was as he observed the figure as it became more clear and he finally realized that it was a Bellsprout. He let out a shallow breath as he didn't want to capture a poison type pokemon but he also needed to add some more dex entries to help out the Professor.
Nate took the time to think about what the best course to take to make the battle as easy as possible for him and to make it a quick capture. He pulled out a poke ball. "Vui I choose you." Vui appeared on the path. He raced around Nate's feet in a loving manner as he was very close to his trainer. "That's enough, stay by me and watch the battle..." Nate said. He put the poke ball away. "...as I reckon you are close to evolving." Nate pulled out a different poke ball. "Levi, I choose you." Levi appeared levitating just of the ground. He glanced over his shoulder as he sense the closeness between the normal type Pokemon and their trainer. "Levi, use False Swipe." Nate said. Levi's left arm blade glowed light green and extends. He levitates forward and slashed the Bellsprout with it.

The plant lightened up when it saw someone walk towards it, now it had the chance to prove its worth and that is was as good as the ones in the tower. It had followed their training from a distance for quite some time, and it thought itself that it had grasped the movement of them and the big pillar pretty well, it kept swaying since that was what the pillar was doing all the time. Following the movement of the earth. A little brown pokemon was sent forth, and the bellsprout dug its feet deep into the mud and sucked in the energy it provided for a plant like it, it visible grew in size as it prepared for the upcoming battle. Much to its surprise, Vui didn't stay out to face it, instead a very tall and lanky green and white pokemon floated in the air. That was strange. After a quick glance towards something behind it, Bellsprout had a hard time seeing Nate due to the darkness, the gallade floated forward and slashed the grass plant down where it stodd. The bellsprout stared horrified at its opponent, not because of the power of the attack, but simply because it had been stopped from swaying! How could it let that happen?! It struggled to get back up on its feet, muddy and dirty from having collapsed in the puddle, but fury and determination shone from its eyes. Vines shot from the start of its leafy arms and wrapped around Levi, leaving muddy marks on his white body. The bellsprout pulled itself in and latched itself on his shoulder, its vines and its rooty legs wrapped securely around him, leaving plenty of muddy marks on him. It wasn't going to be possible to just pull it off of him, it may be going down but it was doing anything it could to take Levi with it! Notes Nate use a poke ball
|
Nate looked at the Bellsprout slightly amused by how the Bellsprout swayed this way and that way, as it reminded him greatly of how the Bell Tower swayed when he had visited it and helped his now named Explotaro to climb it. If it was anything like the Bellsprouts that he had faced there, then it would be a tough battle for both his normal type and the dual rock/ground type Pokemon. So no matter which of his weaker teammembers he sent out, he would have to swap them out for one of his stronger teammembers.
Vui looked on annoyed when the Bellsprout dug its feet into the mud underneath it as it sucked up energy making it mentally stronger. He was glad that the psychic type was now the one facing the dual grass/poison type as he would be able to tank the attacks better whether they were mental attacks or physical attacks. Levi knew that it was a pointless battle as he was much stronger than the Bellsprout was. But he could also tell that the normal type would have a very tough battle against the wild pokemon, so it was for the best for him to face the healthy foe than a weaker one.
Levi looked on confused when he sensed that the Bellsprout was horrified over something that had happened. He glanced around but didn't sense any other emotions besides from his trainer being somewhat excited over maybe adding a new Pokemon to his pokedex, and the normal type feeling extremely close to their trainer. Levi looked back to late as vines shot out at him and wrapped around him, restricting his movements. He let out a angry sigh as he became covered in muddy marks from the wiggling wild pokemon. Nate pulled out a poke ball. Blasty appeared next to Vui. Nate knew that Levi wouldn't be happy for him to continue on his journey until the psychic Pokemon was spotless from the mud, so he would use his water type to help to wash the mud away. He put the poke ball away and pulled out a new poke ball. Nate threw the poke ball hoping that it would capture the Bellsprout with a single poke ball.

As the storm continued to blow both pokemon swayed in the wind. The Bellsprout was nearly defeated as it struggled to stay on its feet This battle was going to come to a quick end. As the Bellsprout was trying to regain its senses Its head was swimming as it tried to run away. It's struggle was at a end however as it fell down into the water . The PokeBall made contact with a click as the red light enveloped Bellsprout .Shaking only once the ball clicked into place. A plop could be heard as the PokeBall dropped into the puddle at Levi's feet. Notes Vui not evolved into Umbreon Searching for Pokemon
|
Nate walkedover to the poke ball and picked it up. He pulled out his Poke dex and sent it to his PC box. Nate then noticed that Vui was shinning white. "No, no, no..." He panicked as he didn't want his normal type to evolve into a dark type, since he wanted the psychic evolution so that he can be trained by his stronger psychic type. Vui crunched his eyes and dug his paws into the ground as he did not want to disappoint Nate. The white light died down to reveal that he was still a Eevee. Vui started to pant heavily as that took a lot of effort to pull off. Nate returned Vui to his Poke ball. He turned to his water type Pokemon. "Blasty use a weak Water Pulse on Levi." Blasty held his hands to his side, a blue orb of water formed between his hands. He then shoved his hands forward sending the blue orb at the floating psychic type. The blue orb hit Levi, exploding on contact covering from head to toe with dripping water. Levi's eye glowed purple as the water and wet mud levitated off of him and dropped to the ground. Nate pulled out two Poke balls. Blasy and Levi disappeared into their Poke balls. Nate put the poke balls away and continued on his journey.

Where before it was just wet outside, puddles squelching underfoot, it was now starting to rain. Droplets would pepper down upon Nate, first slowly, then more steadily, until soon, it was an outright torrential downpour! Wind tugged at his clothes and any trainers or pokemon out in this mess were quick to scatter in search of shelter. That included a certain little green pokemon that was puttering through the underbrush on nubbin legs. Tearful and scared, the little budew scampered through the rain in search of shelter, trying to squeeze under logs and into the limbs of bushes, all to no real avail. No matter where it tried to hide, it could not escape the angry water pelting down from the heavens above. Suddenly, there was a flash of white and the crack-rumble-roar of thunder. The budew peeped in panic, floundering helplessly before darting across Nate's path in totally obliviousness.
