He had the listing up for a while now in a couple places. Wanted boards were where he found trades he himself engaged in previously. This had been the only listing he posted, curious if he would get a response. 'Breeder Adrian Hartt of Healing Hearts Ranch seeking Mudbray in exchange for Skiddo, egg for egg accepted.'Adrian had almost forgotten about the listing when he received a response inquiring if he would be interested in a mudbray egg. It knew the move smack down. Adrian quickly agreed to the trade inquiry, and offered to bring a skiddo egg with a couple egg moves as well to the exchange. He had practiced breeding pokemon at this point, and carefully carried the recently laid skiddo egg in his arms to their arranged meeting place. He didn't know what this person looked like, just had a name. So he settled himself at a table and pulled the egg out of his bag, careful with it, smiling softly as his litwick floated nearby to keep the egg warm. When he saw who he thought was the other person approaching, he would wave, trying to make sure he seemed friendly. (Adrian knew he didn't exactly have a welcoming face) "Are you...Trixie? I am Adrian. I have the Skiddo egg right here for our trade." Jenesis

Along her journey, Trixie had come into possession of a spare Mudbray egg. One day, when she was casually browsing online, a notice had come across her feed: "Something for you." It was a trade request, and by pure serendipity, she happened to have the Pokemon that the breeder was looking for, and the one the breeder was offering was an entry she needed for her Pokedex as well! There was just one problem. When she looked up "Adrian Hartt of Healing Hearts Ranch", the face staring back at her wore thick dark eyebrows, a dark scowl prominently highlighted by his pointed nose and chin, and an unruly mop of dark hair falling into his eyes that matched the color of his worn leather jacket. He was perhaps a few years older than her, but already looking world-weary. In short, he looked exactly like the kind of man that Trixie's mother had always warned her against associating with. So, of course, she had eagerly accepted. Arriving at the Trade Center, she easily picked him out - a lanky man seated next to a grass-wreathed egg - and made her way over to him at a brisk pace, the Mudbray egg in her arms still warm from recently being lifted out of the Incubator. "You're Adrian? I'm Trixie!" she said with a smile, and tucked the egg under her arm so she could shake his hand. Looking him up and down... oh, yes. Tall, dark, and rough around the edges... he reminded her almost exactly of her last "boyfriend." If only he had a bike! Adrian shook her hand, grip firm, steady. He looked a tad nervous but he composed himself. "Yeah," he let go of her hand. "A pleasure doing business with you. I've been looking for one of these for a while now." He moved to present her the skiddo egg. "As promised, it knows defense curl and roll out. Hopefully it will prove a useful companion on your adventures." A pause. Then he fumbled at his pockets before presenting her a business card. He only made these recently. "The ranch is technically also open to guests. It's still being worked on, so the grass is still pretty overgrown, but the fencing is new and I've got a fresh coat of paint on the porch. Trainers can stop by to train in the pasture if they want...There's a bit of an oddish infestation that needs...ah...handling. Hope you keep me in mind if you need any further pokemon breeding services." There. That sounded professional right. He offered an awkward smile as they exchanged eggs. Though the smile softened and became more fond as he looked down at the egg. His litwick floated over to cuddle with it. A living incubator. "Thanks again. Maybe we'll meet again."
Trade complete! (Feel free to place the egg in your incubator)
