The Radio Tower
"Ah, I see this is your first time in Goldenrod's illustrious Radio Tower. I am Sarah Summers. I may not look like it, but I am a professional tour guide! As such it will be my pleasure to show you around the radio tower.
From this tower we air our various programs across the entire region of Johto. Aside from twenty-four hour service, limited commercial interruptions, & offering the most tasteful music in all of Johto we also have a rather large number of activities that a trainer, like you, could participate in.
On the first floor we have our Pokémon lottery. For a small price, £500, you can gain a single entry to our bi-weekly lottery drawings. Our fabulous prizes are top of the line, such as rare candies, evolution stones, reward tokens, & you can even get a chance to win a fabulous rare Pokémon!
Moving on to the second floor, we have a specialist merchant that pops in from time to time to broadcast exclusive deals over the airwaves. There's quite a lot of their stock lying about here...!
Now up to the third floor you'll see Buena to your left. The eccentric radio host loves to challenge her listeners with various puzzles & trivia! Every month, the lovely woman creates a little puzzle with her pet Meowth. If you can work out her riddle, you'll get reward tokens to spend in Zapdos Zulu's Universal Reward Shop!
Of course, this wouldn't be the best Radio Tower in Johto without the number one radio show in Johto, Professor Oak's Talk Show! This show is hosted by our lovely DJ Mary. Every month, Mary & Oak spend a few hours talking about Pokémon! You can learn all kinds of wonderful facts, & you can even find about the current Pokémon swarm.
I hope you found this little tour helped shed some light about Johto's number one radio tower! Now I'm sorry I couldn't give you a tour of the upper levels, but it's the Director's strict orders not to let any one above the second floor. So as a little present to make up for the short tour, here is your very own radio card! If you pop it into your Pokégear you can listen to our amazing radio stations when ever you want!"
-- Sarah Summers, Professional Tour Guide.
"Who is that freak? I know she says she is a 'professional tour guide' but I've never seen this woman before in my life! Is she really giving out tours of a place she doesn't even work at?!?!"
