"SYLLLLVESTERRRR!" Penelope shouted the top of her lungs when she saw the building where this young man was working at. She and her Azumarill were both carrying Farfetch'd and battling wild Pokemon in the forest for so long that she felt like she was in the forest for year.

When she got close, she was ready to drop off the flying type Pokemon. "I found your Farfetch'd! I'm sorry it took so long! We got sidetracked by the wild Pokemon!" They both carefully placed the sleeping and snoring Farfetch'd back where they belonged. Needless to say, the snoring might have contributed to the wild Pokemon attacking her. Even though she was a picnicker and know her way surviving in the woods, carrying a 33 pounds Pokemon across long distance was too much for her stamina. She needed a rest. Thankfully, the Pokemon was returned to the trainer who lost them.

Once she plopped down the birds, she returned the Azumarill, and popped open a bottle of water for herself to drink. Phew!

Silvester paces back and forth as he awaited Penelope’s return. He knew that he needed the help to wrangle the birds back, but he didn’t like how they always wandered off with little regard to what Sylvester needed them to do. As the time passed and it seemed as though Penelope would need longer than average to find them, the black haired kid decided that she might actually need his help. He began scaling different trees and shuffling himself out across thick branches with a long string. At the end of the string, Sylvester attached the Farfetch’d favorite berries and dangled them from the branch where he lay towards the ground below. “Come on, Farfetch’d…” He pleaded silently, twisting his head this way and that to see if they would come. “Ohhhh…dad’s gunna kill me this time!”

Something moved in a nearby bush. A small mushroom plopped out of a nearby beautyberry bush. It stopped for a second as it studied the small oblong shaped red berry at the end of the thin rope. Immediately, the mushroom would run after the berry as it growled excitedly on the top of its voice. Sylvester yanked the rope up and down, causing the line to jump all around. “Oh, no…go away…shoo. Shoo! This berry isn’t for you, go!” Sylvester cried out exasperated. The mushroom jumped up and yanked the berry – rope and all – out of Sylvester’s hands as it ran away with it gleefully. Sylvester groaned loudly, slapping his forehead with his hand. “Oh…noo…noo nooo nooo….why. WHY, me?! Why always me?!” Then, a familiar voice called out.

Sylvester jumped up excitedly as soon as he heard Penelope’s voice calling out to him. He wasn’t the best or brightest, though, and slipped from the branch he had been laying on in the tree. The black haired boy fell into a large bush, before popping back up and brushing himself off. “You’ve returned with my birds! Oh, thank you so much. I hope they weren’t too much trouble for you! Thank you, thank you! Oh…” Sylvester began searching around until he found a small Hidden Machine and held it out to Penelope. “I want you to have this…for all the trouble…it’s the Hidden Machine Cut, and it’s really good at clearing down the smaller trees that block your path.” He smiled, before turning to his birds to scoop them up and carry them back home.

Penelope wasn't really listening much as she was drying herself. She then received the Hidden Machine from Sylvester, and thanked him politely. Then, she watched as the young man took his Farfetch'd back inside the house. Now that she's by herself again. She got ready to head back inside the Ilex Forest, but this time, to make her way toward the next city for good.

She took one good look at Sylvester's home, and with both hands on her backpack, she headed inside the forest once again. She hoped that the weather had passed in the short duration while she exchanged with Sylvester. She wasn't in the mood to get rained on again.

Tyler could hardly wait to get to the Pine Gap. He had made quite a bit of progress towards it but he still had a few more areas of the forest to traverse before he would arrive. Like most of the other areas Tyler was not interested in sticking around this area for long at all. " Let's keep moving. We only have a few more stops before we will reach our destination. This forest really rubs me the wrong way with how big it is." Tyler groaned as the group made their way to the next area.

Tyler reached the Shady Glen and knew he could make for the exit but it was the wrong exit for the destination he had in mind. He could see Sylvester off in the distance supervising the Farfetch'd as they cut down some trees. The pesky birds seemed to be listening to him for now and he was glad he did not have to help the incompetent man anymore. He hated chasing the birds the first time and dreaded ever needing to chase them again. As he looked towards the sky he saw the sun reaching the horizon and he knew it would get dark very soon. He had not made as much progress as he had hoped and he booked it double time trying to get through the forest.

The young golden-haired beauty trainer would have rather stayed inside the warm and cozy Pokemon Center reading a romance novel and sipping on a cup of chamomile, honey, and vanilla tea. However, she had other important obligations to take care of at the moment, which involved her traveling through the mysterious Ilex Forest in order to make her way toward one of the most popular and affluent locations within Johto. Goldenrod City, home of the massive department store and the cute Normal-type gym. Aphrodite always dreamed of indulging in a shopping spree at the department store and almost equally important she looked forward to facing off against the self-proclaimed pretty girl with the cutest Pokemon. Or so, Whitney thought. She would find out soon enough that Aphrodite and her Pokemon are the fairest of them all! Of course, that is if Aphrodite manages to find her way out of the forest first...

"It's hard enough that we have to travel through this eerie forest, but we also have to do it in the icy cold rain," Aphrodite sighed, holding the bright pink parasol over her head to protect herself from the freezing rain pouring down from above. "The quicker we can find our way out here, the better off we will be," She added, taking a quick scan around her surroundings. "Alvaro?" She questioned, noticing that her knight-in-training seemed to have wandered off from her.

The brave and adventurous Kirlia found himself becoming slightly captivated by a beautiful stone that sparkles like a glittering eye. The stone's radiant glow soon captured Aphrodite's attention, too, causing her to walk towards Alvaro and the mysterious stone. "Oh, whoa! What is that? It's so beautiful!" She shouted out in awe. She soon noticed her Pokemon moving even closer toward the stone. "Wait, Alvaro! Don't get too close to it!" She attempted to warn her Pokemon, but it was a little too late. The male Kirlia had reached out with his small hands to make contact with the gorgeous stone. Within seconds, the shining light that was once coating the stone soon transferred to Alvaro's body and soon caused his entire body to undergo some sort of metamorphosis. "Al-Alvaro?" Aphrodite gasped and dropped her parasol, watching her Kirlia transform into a regal and handsome knight.

"Gallade!" Alvaro shouted proudly, swinging his newly evolved limbs in a graceful and elegant manner before performing a courteous bow to his trainer. "I-I can't believe it! You evolved into a Gallade!" She pointed towards him, still in awe and not even noticing that she had dropped her parasol. Alvaro nodded his head before walking over to pick up the parasol from the ground and holding it over his trainer's head. "It looks like your time training as a knight has really paid off. Well done, Alvaro." Aphrodite smiled, reaching over to give her newly evolved Pokemon a warm embrace.

Aphrodite and Alvaro's attention soon shifted from each other and towards the direction of the newcomer. A dark-haired male soon made himself known to them. From the looks of it, he seems to look a little stressed and overwhelmed. Perhaps, he had lost something or someone? "Umm, hi there. Are you okay?" Aphrodite asked the stranger. As much as she wanted to walk past the stranger to focus on finding a way out of the forest, she knew that it was her responsibility as a member of the IPF to help out those in need.

Also, used purchased Dawn Stone from the Reward Shop to evolve male Kirlia to Gallade Gallade will forget Confusion and learn Slash. Lastly, I would like to use TM Mystical Fire and TM Calm Mind on Sylveon. She will forget Swift and learn Mystical Fire and she will also forget Draining Kiss and learn Calm Mind. Lastly, I will like to use the TM Draining Kiss on Brionne it will replace the move Disarming Voice. <3

Sylvester was in deep trouble, and he knew it. Usually he had his dad worked together with the father's two farfetch'd, cutting down trees and preparing them for sale and further work. It was a nice practical job and Sylvester loved it and couldn't wait until he got a pokemon of his own who could cut down the trees and he could work equally beside his awesome dad.
Today his father had some other chores to tend to and that usually meant that Sylvester had a more boring day with chores around the house as he wasn't allowed to go into the forest with the farfetch'ds alone.
His father had praised him a lot yesterday though and Sylvester was sure he had hinted that he was soon big enough to get his own pokemon, and he knew that they were a bit behind on the weeks order, so he had gotten the great idea to take the farfetch'ds to the forest himself, how hard could it be? They had worked together well for so long and he knew the tree they were going to take down as the next one, and it wasn't a hard one. Oh his father would be so surprised when he came home and Sylvester had it all ready for him!
It had gone well until they reached the tree and Sylvester had guided the two birds to what he wanted them to do. They hadn't started though, instead they had watched him calmly and then after exchanging a look, simply walked off in two different directions leaving Sylvester alone and lost to which farfetch'd to follow and how to get them to obey him!

The flash of light caught the devastated boy's attention and he rushed in the direction in the hope that it would be one of the birds.
"Farfetch'd?" He called out hopefully but his hope plummeted when he saw it was just another trainer and her pokemon, his lip quivered in disappointment. He clenched his hands as he steeled his resolve, if he wanted to show his father how much he had grown he couldn't sit down and cry now!
"Excuse me? Miss?" He called to the trainer, ignoring the rain as he was already soaked to the bone, "my father's two farfetch'ds has run off and I really need to get them back and with me home, will you help me look?" He asked and quickly added to make it less a nuisance for Aphrodite, "I'm sure they haven't wandered far! One was heading towards the forest with the great wood for furniture, the expensive ones. I'm not allowed to help cut any of those yet. And the other, the other I fear went to that wet and spooky place, the sun never reached the ground really and I don't get what it want there as that wood can't be used for any good, its even too wet to use as firewood!"
He looked hopefully at Aphrodite.

Sylvester is asking for you help to retrieve the farfetch'ds who had run off.

Aphrodite nodded her head as she listened to Sylvester explain his current situation to her. "Don't worry! We will find your Pokemon for you, I promise!" Aphrodite assured him with a soft and warm smile. She would take a couple of mental notes as Sylvester gave her some clues as to where she might be able to locate the missing Pokemon. "Stay put and we will be back in a bit!"

"Alvaro, let's get a move on. We have some missing Pokemon to find." She told her Pokemon, glancing up at him. The Psychic/Fighting type Pokemon gave his trainer a quick head nod before the two of them moved towards their next location.

Arriving from the Dense Thicket

Even though his first adventure in the Ilex Forest wasn't very long, Venom would never forget it, as he walked through the Shady Glen with a big smile upon his face. Not only did he rid the forest of all the evil spirits that had infested it, but he also got to meet Celebi. The one and only Time Travel Pokemon. However, as much as the ninja wished to progress to Goldenrod City, his work in the first part of Johto wasn't quite finished just yet. But before going any further, Venom decided to stop and make camp for the night as soon as he exited the forest. Once he did, he found a good place for camp that was shielded from the rain, let out all of his Pokemon, they all had a bite to eat, shared their stories of their adventure through the Ilex Forest, then headed off to sleep for the night, excited for their third Alola trial that would come tomorrow.

OOC: Venom leaves the Ilex Forest for now, but he'll be back soon. Very soon.

Coming from Enchanted Orchard...

After traveling through the beautiful and tranquil orchard, Aphrodite and her Gallade escorted the wild duck back to the young male. To be honest, Aphrodite could not wait to return the rude and annoying Farfetch'd back to its owner. She was sure that the Farfetch'd would be pleased to get away from her and her Pokemon, too. It did quack the majority of the way back to the Shady Glen. Luckily, the golden-haired Beauty Trainer was able to find her way back to the Shady Glen without getting herself lost the forest.

"Umm...Sylvester?" She called out, her warm golden eyes attempting to seek out the younger male, who was standing not too from here not too long ago. Did he decide to take off to look for the Farfetch'd himself or did he manage to get himself lost in the forest, too? Whatever the case may be, she hoped that he would return soon, because she did not wish to spend anymore time with the Farfetch'd then she has to do. Besides, she was pretty sure that Alvaro is ready to slice and dice it up with his blades and toss it in a pot of duck and andouille etouffee.

Slvester paced around the densely packed forest and fretted to himself. What would happen if he couldn’t find his father’s Farfetch’d?! He’d tried to many times to convince his father that he just wasn’t capable enough to lead the ducks into the forest to collect the logs that they needed. Why didn’t his father just listen to him? How many times did the Farfetch’d have to go run off into the forest and go missing, before his father realized? Sylvester needed to work on collecting badges of his own before he could help his father out with his company, but he knew that his dad needed the help more. Would he ever get to go on his own adventures eventually?

While awaiting Aphrodite’s return, Sylvester began to climb up into a tree and wait to see if his Pokemon would return to him. Though, time and again, different Pokemon would chase or attack him out of the treetops. A small Spinarak that seemed friendl turned to Sylvester in one tree and scuttled down its sticky web towards the worried lad, only to shoot him with a face full of string. He jumped out of the branch, coughing and hacking, as he ripped the sticky strings from around his face and wiped his head with his hands angrily. In another tree, a purple snake coiled up and hissed at him, before striking out and barely missing him. And in another, an Aipom simply kicked him out of the tree.

When Aphrodite called out questioningly for him, Sylvester couldn’t believe his ears. Finally! He rushed over to her, shouting at the top of his lungs while waving his arms, “Over here!” Had she finally found his missing ducks?! “I’m over here!” When he finally managed to reach her, Sylvester would thank her profusely while accepting one of the ducks back from her hands. “Oh thank you, thank you! I hope this Farfetch’d didn’t give you much trouble. The last one should still be in the forest whose wood is used in the really nice and expensive furniture. Do you think you can find it, as well, for me?” He asked her hopefully.

Luckily, Sylvester did not keep her waiting for too long. The blonde-haired trainer flashed the young male a warm smile as she held the Farfetch'd over to him. Aphrodite giggled and rubbed the back of her neck the second Sylvester made a statement that he hoped that the Farfetch'd did not cause her too much. Heck yeah, it did! It is a total brat! Of course, she would not tell Sylvester that at the moment. She did not want to make him feel even worse than he might be feeling regarding losing the Pokemon in the first place. "Oh, it wasn't too much trouble. I'm just happy that we were able to bring it back to you," she added with a soft smile. Oh, darn it! Sylvester did mention that there were two Farfetch's missing and she had only found one of them. Her mind told her that she did not want to put herself in the situation of having to find the other Farfetch'd, but her heart told her something different. She had to help him find the other wild duck. She is a member of the IPF and there is an individual, who needs her help. "Don't worry, honey. We will find your other Farfetch'd, too." Aphrodite assured him with a gentle smile.

"Wood use to make expensive furniture, huh? Can't said that I've seen that type of wood around here yet, but we will search until we find it. Let's go, Alvaro!" Aphrodite would give Sylvester one more smile before walking in the direction of the Luminous Vale with her Gallade walking beside her.

Aphrodite and Alvaro finally arrived back at the Shady Glen after finding and securing the last missing Farfetch'd. Like the Farfetch'd from before, the last was quite rude and annoying. Luckily, Raina were able to hush them up and put them back in their place without too much trouble. However, she did have a better understanding of why Sylvester was having a difficult time controlling the wild ducks. She had managed to earn two badges, and the Farfetch'd were still a little bit challenging to deal with for a few minutes. Hopefully, Sylvester will take place in some sort of special training to learn how to control the Farfetch'd a little bit better in the future or at least have someone else assist him with them before attempting to bring them back to the forest again.

"Hi! Sylvester! We're back with the last Farfetch'd! Sorry, if it took us a while. This one had managed to wander off a bit further than the last one," Aphrodite stated with a warm smile. Alvaro walked over and handled the Farfetch'd over to Sylvester. "So, is there anything else that I can help you with before I leave?" She asked with another friendly smile. To be honest, she hoped that he did not have anything else for her to do, because she wanted to make her way through the forest as soon as possible.

Sylvester spent most of his time waiting on Aphrodite chasing his wily duck all around the area. Even though the first Farfetch’d was substantially weaker than before, it still proved to be quite the thorn in Sylvester’s side. He considered asking his dad for permission to travel once more, so that he could collect some Gym Badges of his own. Wouldn’t that help Sylvester gain better control over these two ducks that his father insisted on having him take into Ilex’s forested depths to chop down the best trees to turn into charcoal?! It didn’t make sense how he had to do this with barely any real tools or resources every time the ducks tried to wander off on their own!

So, Sylvester ran away from an angry Murkrow, jumped out of the way of a stream of pinching Paras, and climbed into a tree to avoid some of the worst bucktoothed rats he’d ever met. All of this was thanks to the first duck that Aphrodite had brought back, mind you. As it thought it would be fun to toss rocks at the large blackbird, found it hilarious to peck random mushrooms on the ground and try to gobble them up, and even kicked lots of sand in the wild purple rodent’s direction. Ugh, and of all the ducks in the world, why did he had to get stuck with these two?!

So, when Aphrodite made her way back, it was safe to say that Sylvester was elated to see her. He rushed over to her side, dragging the first Farfetch’d with him every step of the way. “Oh, you’re back! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I really appreciate all the help you’ve given me!” Sylvester wheezed, placing his hands on his knees to catch his breath. Once he finally caught his breath, Sylvester would straighten himself out to stand upright once more and held out one hand to shake Aphrodite’s hand. “They’re a real handful…these two…Oh, I know!” He pulled out a HM and handed it over. “This is Hidden Machine Cut! It’ll help you clear the smaller cuttable trees in your path on your way to Goldenrod. I want you to have it for all the help you’ve given me in finding my dad’s Farfetch’d!” Sylvester explained. "Yes...before you leave, you will need at least one Pokemon to know Cut if you want to make it to Goldenrod." Sylvester made sure to tell Aphrodite, since she asked so specifically.

"Oh, thank you!" Aphrodite stated with a smile, obtaining the special hidden machine to teach one of her Pokemon the hidden move Cut. The fairy-type specialist had almost forgotten that Sylvester had offered to give her a unique gift for returning his missing Pokemon. "Alright, I believe that I have the perfect Pokemon to teach this hidden move to right now," she stated with a wide grin before turning her attention over to Alvaro.


"I believe that you're the perfect Pokemon to learn this new move. What do you think, Alvaro? Are you up to learning a new move?" She asked her Gallade with a soft smile. The regal swordsman nodded his head and shook it for "no" to his trainer. "Yeah, you're right. It probably wouldn't be a good move to use in battle. No worries, we'll think of someone else to teach the move to. We just might need to take a quick trip back to the Pokemon Center to swap out for someone else!" Aphrodite replied back with a tender smile. "Thank you, Sylvester, we can continue towards Goldenrod City, now. Take care and do not let the Farfetch'd get the best of you!" She bid her farewell to her new friend before sliding the HM into her bag and heading towards her next location with Alvaro finding behind her.
