OOC: I didnt think Shar 'n Joe would meet for awhile since we just finished a thread and all but I'm bored, so entertain me.
--
"Urgh... Only Joe would chose to stick his base in a stupid location like this."
A rather shabby looking Sharada emerged her head from a near by bush, all sorts of twigs and leaves poking out in between several strands of hair as well as mud stains spread across her cheeks. Judging from her messy appearance, it looked as if she had been dragged backwards through a dense forest and then lunged into a pit of mud. With a sigh, she stood to her feet, removing a black cap from her hair and roughly brushing off the mud and twigs, "I've been following the right directions... What gives." From Sharada and Joe's last meeting, they had a rather awkward discussion about Team Rocket. Or rather, Sharada having the idea of actually joining up with them.
It wasn't long after their talk that she left him behind at the Poke Centre in Violet City. She felt a little guilty for just disappearing, but when she returned he had well and truly gone. Not wanting to contact him incase he thought that she was actually missing him or something, she decided to sit at the computer desk in the centre. Joe had also contacted Looker, his right hand man, to link together their PC Boxes incase of an emergency her end. So rather than contacting Joe, she thought of a way to message someone else, someone like Looker. By sending a message to herself, she stated something else which may crop up. What if she was caught by the Rockets, where would be a good place to run to? It took a few days for her to realise, but it seemed someone had edited her message with a mixture of letters and numbers. Coordinates? Sharada had taken this information and deleted the message immediately afterward.
Which led to where she was now. Sharada had mischievously decided to make her own Rocket outfit and sneak into Joe's base, hoping to give him a bit of a shock. And even if he wasnt there, it would be interesting for her to meet the people he cared so deeply about, especially Looker. And even though she was having difficulty finding the place, the following of coordinates wasnt necessarily her only trouble, "Oi! Get down from there and stick with me!... OOOFFF!"
A brown blur suddenly rustled between the tree branches before landing smack bang in the center of her face. Grumbling angrily, she pulled it away, holding by the scruff of the neck and frowning angrily, "I know, I know... 'You're too good for me' right?" she spoke in a mocking tone, dropping it gently to the ground. The mischievous pokemon which had decided to accompany her on this journey was her Shiny Smeargle. She had met the little rascal in New Bark Town and caught it accidentally after witnessing it graffiting on the walls. Both it's level and moves were incredible and seeing as Sharada didn't have a single gym badge yet, she enjoyed playing around with the inexperienced trainer.
With a soft sigh, Sharada rearranged her mock Rocket cap on her head and held pushed her shoulder out welcomingly to Smeargle, "C'mon, let's carry searching." Her words suddenly came to a halt as she pounced on her shoulder a lot fiercer than she needed to and began laughing. Roughly petting it's head to show affection, Sharada couldnt help but force a smile. Even though it pretty much did what it wanted, Smeargle was still fairly tame compared to other outlandish types. Well, that was what she thought. Pulling out her note on where to go, she realised both sides had different writing on them. It was then that Sharada realised what had happened, "You little bugger! You wrote another set of directions?! URGH! I dont even know where we are now!" she growled angrily, pinching Smeargles cheeks before looking at the correct side, "Fine, we'll back track and try again."
After hours on end of walking, a slight sigh of relief crossed her lips as the surrounding area felt alot more like where Joe would place his base. It was completely deserted, with nothing but an iron fence lurking in the distance. With a nod, Sharada turned to Smeargle, "I think we're here... You know what to do!" With a cheerful nod, Smeargle front flipped off from Sharada's shoulder and grabbed it's tail. Aiming for Sharada's dress, she painted a large red R across her chest, sticking it's thumb up to indicate a job well done. With yet another nod, she spoke, "Hehehehehe, Joey~ Ready or not..." She tugged her hat down further, causing her hair to cover her eyes before starting to run in the direction of the now sighted Warehouse, Smeargle hopping closely behind her "...Here we come!"
Pounding her foot against the metal fence, Sharada was able to flip over the top of it with great ease, landing right in front of the Warehouse's main door. Pushing herself against the wall, she whispered a plan to Smeargle, "Right... Let's sneak in... Huh?" Her eyes opened wider as she noticed the little scallyway had disappeared. Looking around frantically for her, she soon spotted it. She seemed to have squeezed herself through a small gap and was now running around inside of the warehouse. Scrambling to her feet, Sharada squished herself through the large metal doors, rushing to the center of the room and making her sneak in more obvious. However, things turned even worse as Smeargle began moving in an odd way. It seemed she had noticed a pokemon scurrying behind some boxes, easy prey. The whole Warehouse suddenly seemed to shake violently as Smeargle began preparing an attack. It's eye began to glow an icy blue as the air around them began to swirl, lifting up all sorts of debris. Sharada, falling to the floor, covered her hands over her head before yelling over the noise, "S-SMEARGLE! STOP!" But it was far too late. Smeargle opened it's mouth, creating a blue orb, emanating with nothing but power before unleashing the beam which was Aeroblast, blasting nearby crates to pieces and severely damaging the walls. Lifting her head wearily, Sharada cringed, "D-Damn... Joe will be pissed!"

Joey's abandoned warehouse was receiving more than it's fair share of visitors of late. At the rate it was accommodating people, it may as well be referred to as any other warehouse. Signs of recent activity were now ever more present at the entrance to the rusty doors that shut off the world to Joey's inside base of operations. Of course, Sharada's first visit to the warehouse only exacerbated matters. Had the the warehouse been anywhere as public and not so much hidden away from the prying eyes of people and Pokemon alike, then curiosity would be surely roused. With Sharada in her Rocket disguise and her special Smeargle now within the confines of the knackered down warehouse, there were some signs of recent activity in the area. For one there was an unusual amount of webbing behind a number of industrial barrels and crates. There was also a pile of rubble towards the centre where a possibly vicious brawl had taken place. The huge drill shaped hole in the ground gave little clue as to what really unfolded. Was it from the attack of a Pokemon? Or perhaps more likely it was a leftover feature from when this warehouse was filled to the brim with machinery. Problematically, these little signs were not apparent to Sharada. With her unruly Smeargle now gearing itself up for some of the catastrophically moves it knew in its arsenal, her attention was understandably focused elsewhere. Before she could fully get it under control, the very stuffy air in the warehouse was summoned before Smeargle's mastery of the element and then blasted at an incredibly fast speed. The result meant that a huge amount of damage was wrecked on the ageing structure of the warehouse. The whole complex seemed to groan at being hit with such a devastatingly overwhelming attack. Aside from the crashing of the leftover barrels in the warehouse there were a vast number of cries that pierced the air. Joey's warehouse was home to a considerable number of wild Pokemon. This sudden apocalypse that disturbed their peace sent them all into a panic. A number of rare and common Pokemon could be seen fleeing the area to elsewhere and even going as far as to brave the open. This attack on their home seemed almost like a challenge to one certain Pokemon. Coming out of a crack in the ground, a hissing purple snake slithered it's way over before Sharada. Upon reaching her it coiled itself around and hissed ferociously as a sign of intimidation. The Pokemon that wrought such unimaginable power was strong to be sure but this jaded snake was not going to go quietly without a fight. Certainly, it would likely get beaten in a blink and tossed to the side but that didn't mean it was going to let them get away without a venomous bite and transfer of lethal toxins. Its alluring eyes leered at the Smeargle and then to Sharada. It opened it's tongue was ever more furious. As it whipped it's tail on the ground, it appeared to be issuing a challenge towards the trespassing guest. Encounter

As the cries of several species of Pokemon pierced her ears, Sharada looked around in shock. Having disturbed their resting places, she watched as they all began to scarper away. Smeargle simply shrugged after seeing what the odd movements were. There was not a single pokemon who she felt worthy enough to battle. Plonking itself onto it's backside, Smeargle began to doodle on the Warehouse floor. The carefree attitude of Smeargle made Sharada's blood boil. The whole point on her visiting wasn't to disturb the peace or anything of the sort, so watching her own pokemon destroy the place made her fume. Mostly blaming it on herself, for not being a strong enough trainer for her own Pokemon.
Pushing herself up from the ground, Sharada sat to her knees, taking in the full amount of damage she had created. Mess scattered the warehouse grounds and the already broken windows were even more decrypted. With a sigh, her eyes lingered back to Smeargle, "What am I gonna do with you..." With her attention averted, she didnt spot the rather large, purple snake slithering in her direction. It wasn't until venomous hiss creeped into her ears that Sharada realised what had approached her. Incredibly surprised as how close this snake had approached her without her even noticing, Sharada began to crawl backwards a number of steps, tripping to her feet.
Gathering her thoughts for a moment, she realised just how annoyed she had made this Ekans. Well, she would be annoyed too if her resting corner was just blown to smithereens. Glancing to her Smeargle, she grimaced as she saw it still doodling on the floor. "Will you stop that!" she cried out in an angry tone, temporarily catching it's attention. Looking down her nose towards the battle thirsty snake, it simply turned it's head away stubbornly. Grabbing another pokeball from her belt, Sharada held it towards the Ekans, "Tsk! Since you dont seem to want to back down and Smeargle is being CHI-ELL-DISH, I'll have to use someone more tame." Tossing her pokeball forward, a strong light shone brightly, before fading to see a fiery red lizard, it's claws scraping together violently. It seemed it was more up to the challenge, "Charmeleon! Heat things up with an Ember!" She order confidently, the lizard immediately bouncing into action. Smeargle, however, was peering sneakily over her shoulder. It seemed that the battle was beginning to perk her interest.

Smeargle certainly had a mind of its own. The fact Sharada seemed far too much of a novice for its outstanding talents did little to help change it's mind on following anything she said. For now the warehouse was going to get a nice redecoration. These shabby dilapidated walls and flooring were so last decade. Not bothered by the fact a number of angry provoked Pokemon were in the vicinity it carried on with its given task. To paint this warehouse into something art house. It more than needed a new lick of paint at the very least. With Smeargle concerned with matters elsewhere, Sharada's choice of a more obeying Pokemon seemed to interest the Ekans. Was it possible this trainer actually had some talent? Not one to allow accidents to happen, the Ekans decided not to relent on its challenge. The fact it was a Fire Pokemon filled the Ekans' mind with thoughts of its home being burnt down to cinders. For that very reason, the Pokemon uncoiled itself and began slithering around the battlefield as if playing mind games with the fiery opponent. Extended out fully, the Pokemon was nothing to laugh at in size. Sharada's command to try and set it on fire with a patter of embers put the Ekans on the defensive. As the Charmeleon coughed up a round, the Ekans began side winding in an attempt to try and dodge the oncoming attack. As the Embers flew through the sky and splattered over the unforgiving concrete flooring, the Ekans joyously licked its tongue at the fact it had dodged the majority of them. However, unbeknownst to it, one last coal of ember was yet to land and caught the slithering slippery snake right on the end of its tail. As the ember made contact, Ekans reeled itself back from getting too crisp. It looked at its poor tale. Ash was now covering it completely. With a fiercely intimidating rattle of its tail, the snake seemed more than happy to continue this duel. As the tail cooled off from being scorched, the Ekans' demeanour became far different. It was now blatantly on the offensive, the snake's body now lifting part of itself off the ground in a bid to gain some height over the fiery lizard. As it reached a suitable height, it looked down upon the Charmeleon and glared venomously at it. The glare was so terrifying that Charmeleon suddenly became as stiff as an ironing board. The Ekans had truly conveyed the anger of its home being wrecked to pieces through a mere leer of the eyes. What ever would happen next, the Ekans now had an upper hand. Wild Battle

A delightful smile spread across Sharada's face, as her trustworthy Charmeleon left a sneaky burst of fire on the snake's tail. She had captured the rebellious Smeargle at around the same time she received her first pokemon, Charmander. It was thanks to him that she realised Smeargle was just a handful and it wasn't her being a rubbish trainer. Charmander had stood by her side ever since arriving in this new region and was the main Pokemon she would call for if she was ever in need. He had never let her down once, instead, he just kept getting stronger until he eventually evolved into the Charmeleon standing before her. Still trying his best.
With the Ekans recoiling from the Ember attack, even Sharada felt a little nervous as it suddenly locked it's eyes in their direction. All she was able to focus on was the yellow gem like eyes glowing viciously, her gaze following it as it's body slivered up into the air, it's height causing Charmeleon to feel more than a little intimidated. With the sudden venomous glare falling heavily onto the fiery lizard, Sharada felt a little uneasy herself. Ripping her eyes away from the snake, she noticed an oddity about Charmeleon. He had been paralyzed.
Sharada knew that the next move she would make would be a tough one. She had little amounts of healing items on her and even though she wanted to heal him, there was a chance the slippery snake would just use the same attack again. Biting her lip gently, she took one last look to Charmeleon. If things were to get tricky, she would just have to return him to the safety of his pokeball. But for now, he could take it. Parting her lips, she yelled out a command for her paralyzed lizard, "Alright Charmeleon! Things might get a little tricky, but if you can, use Dragon Rage!"

OOC: Note to self, stop writing tail as tale and vice versa. BIC: Dragon Rage! The words seemed foreign to the Ekans. It had not heard of such an attack in all of it's existence but it felt reasonably uncomfortable upon hearing it being ordered. The Charmeleon also heard the call and began preparing itself for the atrocious attack. The fire lizards eyes were now aglow with a powerful energy in addition to a menacing glow from protruding forth from its jaws. It seemed to be working itself in a frenzy but was abruptly stopped dead in it's tracks from doing anything as it's raging aura dispersed. Ekans glared at the opponent and then slyly stuck out it's tongue. The Ekans' glare had more than saved the hide of the snake as the Charmeleon seemed to be paralysed from remembering that imposing glare it had witnessed. With the Pokemon now unable to do anything aside from aside from being rooted to the spot. The Ekans decided it was best to add insult to injury by hitting it with its weakest attack. It opened up its maw and a stream of lightning fast needles poked into the belly of the Charmeleon. It had just been punctured by a round of Poison Sting! Thankfully for Charmeleon, the fact it was already afflicted by paralysis meant the chances of being poisoned also were next to impossible. Frustrated that its venom had no real effect whatsoever to speak of, the side winding Ekans began hatching up a new plan to foil this intruder with. It coiled it's head around and noticed something of interest. With a look back to Sharada and her Pokemon it seemed to hiss it's tongue softly at them, almost as an invite to follow it. With a swift side wind of it's belly, the snake Pokemon darted away from them and slithered its self just out of range of the battlefield. It then coiled its body around and sat there idly. Whatever this Pokemon was up to it only left Sharada with two options. Continue her skirmish with the wild Pokemon or run away. The choice, was up to her. Wild Battle

At first, it seemed like Charmeleon had heard Sharada's command and was preparing to unleash his fury on the purple snake. As his eyes began to glow brightly, Sharada gripped her hands into a fist tightly and bit her lip, she knew Charmeleon wouldn't let her down... Well, she thought that until he suddenly stopped moving and remained in his paralyzed state. She let out a sigh, more of worry than disappointment and continued to watch the battle from afar. The venomous Ekans spurted out several needles of poison but luckily it didn't seem to make too much of an affect.
At that moment, a part of Sharada really wanted to stop the battle, perhaps she was too soft after all. Seeing her Charmeleon frozen like this really wasn't the nicest of sights and the thought of it becoming poisoned made her heart sink lower. Taking a small step forward to approach Charmeleon, she paused, "Hm?" The Ekans was now acting a little differently, slivering away from the battlefield and coiling up a little distance away from her, poking it's skinny tongue out at her. Was it giving up? No... It seemed more like it was giving her an option?
With Ekans patiently waiting for Sharada's choice, this gave her a sort moment to kneel next to her own Pokemon. With him still frozen, he didn't seem to react much to the sudden pat on the shoulder and the soft voice of his trainer, "Hey... What do you think?" Her eyes trailed between the Ekans, to her still painting Smeargle before going back to Charmeleon, "It was a silly idea to come here, would you like to..." Her voice trailed off as she noticed Charmeleon's eyes flickering slightly. They simply moved to her direction, staring at her with indignation, it seemed as if he still wanted to battle. With a slight grin, Sharada glanced to the floor, pushing her hands against her knees as she stood up and slowly faced the Ekans.
Taking several steps towards the Ekans, with her back facing Charmeleon, her smile continued to spread across her face, "C'mon, I dont see why we should stop battling here..." She stopped walking for a moment as she spotted Smeargle lurking close by, it had seemed she had finished painting one of the walls. With the temporary distraction, Sharada could merely sigh.

*clunk* That was all that Sharada heard as she decided to continue her battle with the Ekans and drew herself closer to it. As she neared it the sound of a switch activating was heard. Upon the floor where she had just stood was a small area of the floor which sunk into the ground. Oddly enough it was not a natural feature as the indent was too precisely square in it's shape. Instead, it soon dawned that the flooring Sharada had just put a foot down on, was a secret trap. This abandoned warehouse had an assortment of different traps ranging from secret trap switches to laser trip wires. Knowing that the more adventurous and curious of heart would likely investigate an abandoned building in search of leftover items and rare Pokemon, Joey had these installed to prevent people from getting to far into the gang's private quarters. Knowing that the owner had installed such traps to deter and thwart intruders, the Ekans was now smirking to itself with the smuggest grin upon its face. Now that the trap had been triggered, it would allow the Ekans some respite to heal up and weaken Sharada. It was obvious a trainer of her merit would be able to overcome this trap but it was worth it nonetheless in order to whittle her down. Immediately after the trap had been activated, Sharada had little to no time to react. Above her, a small reel of netting had opened up, dropping two Pokeballs in front of her. As they landed with a metallic thud against the ground it seemed as if these were meant to have landed on Sharada to knock her out. This was not the case, after a few moments, the Pokeballs seemed to come alive and span rapidly on the spot before facing Sharada. These weren't just any Pokeballs, they were Voltorbs, a Pokemon known to imitate the design of the capturing devices. The two Voltorbs wobbled frenetically on the spot, their eyes now furious. If they weren't disposed of in quick enough time they would be certain to self-destruct and finish of Sharada and her team without a doubt! The two balls moved away from one another and assumed a fighting position. Sharada had now just entered a trap double battle. Trap Encounter!

As Sharada took another step forward, her eyes widened in shock as the feeling over the floor lowering beneath her feet came over her. The smug grin of the Ekans in front of her was enough to let her know what had just happened, "C-Crap..." Before she had time to react, two pokemon came flying down from the ceiling, narrowly missing her. It seemed that if she would have taken another step forward, these two metal balls would've crashed on top of her head. With a flick of her head, she turned her attention upwards to see the hole in the ceiling, confirming it was a trap. With both the threat of traps and wild Pokemon over Sharada, she began to wish she would've just called Joe to warn him about her visiting rather than just turning up in surprise.
With this new threat blocking the battle between herself and the Ekans, she watched the two Voltorb carefully as they wobbled from side to side in front of her, their eyes glaring at her furiously, suggesting they were about to blow. With a now rested Charmeleon, Sharada let out a whistle, calling him to stand by her side, "Alright Char, I'm counting on you to finish these guys off! I'm guessing you want to fight that Ekans still, right?" With a stronger blast of fire emanating from his tail, Sharada smirked and took that as a yes. Reaching to her belt, she thought carefully for who to send out.
As her fingertips rested on a pokeball, she pulled it away from her belt and took a few steps backwards, away from the battlefield. Tossing the sphere forward, it burst open with a soft light before fading to show her summoned pokemon. Immediately skipping forward towards the Charmeleon, it's large skull began to clank and clunk with every step it made. Slapping it's bone club intimidatingly in it's hands, Sharada's next pokemon, Cubone, seemed ready for this battle. Knowing these two were usually a fairly good combination who worked well together, she ordered her attack, "Alright guys! Dont let them use explosion! Charmeleon, use Dragon Rage on the left Voltorb and Cubone, use Bone Club on the right! Hit them with all your strength."

As Sharada began preparing her Pokemon for the oncoming battle, the two Voltorb began fiercely shaking on the spot, trying to muster all their energy to ignite their bodies and do as they were tasked in exploding intruders into the base. Unfortunately for these two Voltorb, neither of which were of a sufficient enough strength to do so and the explosive finisher they were looking for resulted in nothing. With their primary objective of blowing themselves up now failed, there was only one option left for the two imitator Pokemon: To battle! Sadly, the two Pokemon were now largely under confident. The threatening burn of the Charmeleon it it's tail and the hefty club of the Cubone were more than unsettling. Now understanding of their tasks, Sharada's Pokemon were fully prepared for battle. Before they could act however, the mind boggling speed of the Voltorbs allowed them to strike first, a feat in which was surprising for Sharada's Charmeleon considering it had evolved. The first of the Voltorbs manically stared at the fire lizard. The burning flames on the tail were enough to attract it. Would it be possible that ramming into it would cause a potential explosion? The Voltorb had only one way of finding out. As it rolled itself on the spot, building up speed, the ball Pokemon then launched itself over Charmeleon. It had performed the move known as Rollout! With such a swift strike, Charmeleon was balled over pretty badly. The Voltorb span back to its spot and was cross to see it had not exploded on contact. For now it would have to battle to the end. It's partner Voltorb seemed to be eyeing the Cubone instead. It was of a lower level and for the most part looked pretty measly. In it's mind, the Voltorb figured it'd be an absolute pushover. That would of course, be a big mistake. The Voltorb prepared it's mouth. It decided that Sonic Boom would be more than enough to wave goodbye to the Cubone. If it had arms, of course. It began spinning on the warehouse floor at an alarmingly progressive speed. Round and round it went in a circular motion, creating sparks in the centre it was spinning about. As it reached the peak speed, a rip roaring sound sliced through the air and rammed right into Cubone. As the move was made mostly out of sound, it caused an intense rattle to the Cubone's head as it was wearing a skull over its head. As the rattling settled down, it appeared the Cubone was a bit dizzy from having his head shaken so furiously. The Voltorb's eyes glared in annoyance as it totally underestimated it's opponent. With both of their cards now laid on the table, it was time for Sharada's group to let rip their retaliatory attacks and the Voltorb were less than enthusiastic about the prospect of being hit so hard. As their moves failed to take them out, all they could do was stand there ready to take the attacks. Out of the two Pokemon Sharada sent out, her faithful fire lizard Charmeleon was the first to hit out. The fire on its tail burnt brightly and a burst of light loosed from it's mouth and eyes. A peculiarly bright burst of flames scorched in a straight line towards the Voltorb in front of it. The raging fires made contact and set the Voltorb alight. It had been an unfortunate victim to the rage unleashed by Charmeleon. As the flames settled, all that was left was particularly charred looking Voltorb. It was still hanging in there though! Only barely! These Voltorbs had a bit more fight in than that was to be expected. It wobbled on the spot, trying desperately to keep up the fight. Last but not least to contribute their attack to the battle was Cubone. Angrily provoked by the sonic boom from earlier, it was more than happy to make a few heads roll with the sizeable bone club it boasted. It honed in on the Voltorb that had attacked it and readied it's weapon. The Cubone dashed towards the enemy Voltorb and with a mighty swing over it's head, the Cubone raised the bone club and made it come crashing down with a ferocious blow. Despite being shaken by the sonic boom from earlier, it still had excellent accuracy in hitting things. The Voltorb was struck and sent flying across the room much akin to that of a pinball, knocking at all the girder supports and walls of the warehouse. It eventually came to a halt and and rolled lifelessly on the ground next to Cubone. The little Cubone sure did pack a punch for a Pokemon of its diminishable stature. Before the Cubone could return back to it's proud trainer, the Voltorb opened it's eyes in a split of the second and as opposed to the tiny little dots that were usually to be expected of a Voltorb, there was the number 3. Before Cubone could respond, it rolled down to two. One came not long thereafter as did the zero. Upon hitting zero, the Voltorb began shaking violently and sparks of light were seen to be bursting from it's body. Cubone suddenly realised what was going on but had little time to jump out of the way. The Voltorb exploded with a weak force and knocked the Cubone back to Sharada. Fortunately for her, Cubone was still hanging in there! It was tenacious as it was brutal. The defeated Voltorb laid in pieces in the opposing corner. While it seemed to be a dud, it's ability made it explode right at the end. Trap Double Battle

Sharada watched the Voltorb duo nervously, the last thing she wanted them to do was to explode. With both of them eager to battle, her eyes crossed from Charmeleon to Cubone constantly, she didn't want to lose focus on either of them. Jumping slightly, it seemed the first Voltorb wanted to go all out on Charmeleon. The speedy bugger span towards Charmeleon like a bowling ball, crashing into his side and sending him skidding across the floor. Squealing as it continued to roll, Sharada had to jump a couple of spaces to the side, narrowly missing being bowled over herself. She didn't notice, however, that it was aiming for Charmeleon's tail and just merely shrugged it off. Charmeleon, however, had jumped back onto it's feet. A familiar, eerie glow emanating from it's eyes and it's tail grew bright and stronger. Parting it's mouth and letting out a low growl, a colourful burst of fire shot out from it's mouth, sending the orb-like pokemon temporarily off of it's Rollout path.
With one Voltorb slightly stunned, Sharada turned back to her Cubone. He was a usually nervous but powerful guy, so Sharada believed all in best in him. Her thoughts were not wrong, as he stood bravely up against the sonic boom, the skull protecting it's fragile head rattled furiously against the sound waves. With a slightly wobble in his step, she watched on as the Cubone suddenly grasped his shaken head, trying to regain himself. Now incredibly angry, he clasped his bone club and furiously pounded the Voltorb one. Sharada, herself, was about to let out an encouraging cheer as the Voltorb was send flying like a baseball across the warehouse floor. But the odd movement from it's eyes caused her to think otherwise. Unfortunately, it was far too late for her to recall Cubone as she realised it was a timer. Subconsciously covering her eyes with an arm as the Voltorbs eyes hit zero, she yelled out as the warehouse began enveloped in a bright light, "CU-CUBONE!"
As the light faded, Sharada cautiously lowered her arm. The Voltorb in the distance was definitely long gone and luckily for her, Cubone was just barely hanging in there himself. With a relieved sigh, she turned back to the last problem, clicking her fingers together forcefully, she ordered her moves, "Almost done with this pest, guys. Charmeleon, surround it with your Embers! And Cubone..." Her voice trailed off as she had one final look at him. He seemed incredibly tired and injured, but there seemed to be fighting spirit still in him. With a smug grin, she nodded to him, "Cubone! Use Bone Club to back Charmeleon up!"

This was it. The Voltorb knew that it had no chance of winning but it was sure as hell going to try and fulfil it's duty as a trap Pokemon and wear them down as much as possible. It haphazardly began spinning it's body on the spot and was revving itself up for an even greater Rollout than before. With the spirit of a kamikaze, the Voltorb went full pelt towards the Charmeleon it had targeted from last round. There were marks scuppered all into the ground from the full throttle speed of the Voltorb. As it approached Charmeleon, the Pokemon tried to brace itself for the impact but to little avail. The Voltorb struck it savagely in the chest again, knocking it quite a distance back from its position. With the its last attack imparted, the Voltorb skidded back to its side of the battle and wearily looked on for the slew of incoming attacks that would finish it off. All it could do now was wait. As Charmeleon got itself up off the floor, it began charging towards where it had been standing. All the while, it was preparing the the fires in its stomach to shoot out a scorching array of embers. As it ran back to its spot, it immediately let the embers it had been preparing into the air and aimed the trajectory so they would land directly onto the Voltorb and burn him to cinders. As it spat them out, they flew right up into the air, arching their way to Voltorb. For everyone involved, it seemed to pan out in slow motion. There were so many questions to be asked. Would the attack hit? Would it ignite the Voltorb's exploding circuits and doom them all? By some stroke of luck would the Voltorb survive? Nothing could be said at this point. The Voltorb looked sadly up and realised that this would be it's end. The embers were now mere splitseconds away and it could feel the heat brazing against its face. It closed its eyes and accepted defeat. The coal of embers landed and absolutely laid waste to the already injured Voltorb. As the embers died down, the Voltorb then rolled off and was obviously defeated. Sharada and her Pokemon had done it! They had beaten one of the many traps in Joey's warehouse. Trap Double Battle
Voltorb 2 | Level 15 | Health : 0%Status : OHKO! Voltorb 1 | Level 18 | Health : 0%Status : Dead, dead, dead VERSUS! Charmeleon | Level 18 | Health : 40% Status : Normal Cubone | Level 13 | Health : 25% Status : Normal Victory!
Your Charmeleon fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 2 levels and is now Level 20! Your Cubone fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 2 levels and is now Level 15!
The celebration was not universal however; the scheming Ekans that had been watching the battle unfold was now seething with displeasure. Those Voltorb traps had worked well enough with previous intruders, this female trainer was obviously a cut above the other idiotic intruders that foolishly ventured in. It rattled it's tail and quickly began formulating what to do next. If it remembered correctly, there was another switch around here somewhere. Fortunately for the Ekans, this time it could activate it on its own without fear of being thwarted by it. It slinked away as fast as it could and desperately looking around for the hidden switch. Eventually after a frantic search it found what it was looking for. There was a red line that was stationed horizontally between two girder supports and was at a suitable height for the snake to reach it. This trap was obviously one that caught people's legs to break the laser and then activate the trap. Without much consideration, Ekans whipped it's tail and set off the respective trap. Above the girder was a faint whirring sound and then movement. It seemed the trip wire bought something to life. It levitated away from Ekans and honed in on Sharada. With an intense magnetic pull, Sharada felt something grabbing at the Pokeballs she had on her person. Before too long, a number of Pokeballs were snatched right away from her and then whisked off into the shadows above. The Pokemon that were at her side were also taken away as their Pokeball was taken from its trainer. Sharada was not left defenceless however, the magnetic pull could only steal away so much. Sharada was left with but one Pokeball. If she wanted to get her Pokemon back, she would have to conquer this new trap. This wasn't just any trap however, the perpetrator behind the removed Pokeballs hovered down before Sharada, Pokeballs stuck to it. The trap was in fact a Magnemite! It had obviously used it's Magnet Pull ability to hinder Sharada! Trap Encounter!
Trap Magnemite has appeared! Due to the magnetic theft of your Pokemon you are left with one. In order to retrieve all your party Pokemon, you MUST use Togepi for this fight.

Just a little phased by the second round of the speedy Rollout move by the Voltorb, Sharada felt relieved as the fierce flames of the Ember attack from her Charmeleon hit the ball with ease. Luckily, this one didnt explode either and even if it did, she was a little more prepared for it. Not noticing the Ekans slivering off to trigger another trap, she quickly approached her two pokemon, showering them with praise with their newest victory, "Good job guys. Atleast we managed to avoid blowing the whole place up." With a slight sigh, she lifted her head to allow her eyes gander around the room. Thanks to both Smeargle and the sudden battle they just had, the warehouse was looking even worse than it had done before. Even the hideous psychedelic wall which Smeargle had recently finished painting made her feel a little guilty. "Joe's hideout is looking pretty bad eh? It's the idiots fault for having stupid traps everywhere though. Who would honestly want to come in here?... Perhaps they are hiding something."
Lost in thought, she didn't realise the next little trap floating towards her direction. With a twist of it's magnets, Sharada jumped in shock at the sight of Charmeleon, Cubone and even Smeargle being forced back into their pokeballs as they flung towards the other side of the room. Clutching onto the last one on her belt, Sharada skipped to her feet to look for the culprit. Nothing immediately jumped out at her, until a small pokemon floated down from the ceiling, slowly rotating in the air with most of her pokeballs attached to it, "A Magnemite?"
With it not looking as if it wanted to let go of her pokeballs, it became obvious fairly quickly that she had to battle the little blighter to get them back. Tossing forward the one pokeball she had left, her heart sank a little at the sight of her baby Togepi rolling out of it's ball. She was so small and it always made Sharada fell so guilty when she summoned it for battles. Although she was a lot stronger than she looked, it just always felt so wrong. With a sudden shake of her head, Sharada glared at the Magnemite, "Alright Togepi, I need your help to get the others back. Let's start things off in a bang with Metronome!" Using this for the first move was a bit of a gamble but her other moves wouldnt necessarily be all that effective either. Crossing her fingers and gently biting her lip, she watched as the little egg toddled forward a few steps before cutely waving her little hands from side to side. What would happen?
OOC: Sorry for taking so long and it is still short. x__x Stupid art requests (the girl deleted her account too durp).

As if cursing in its mind, the Magnemite realised that it had failed to fully magnetise all six Pokeballs away from the intruder. If only it had an increased magnetised pull! Then the trainer would be helpless without any of her Pokemon. Expecting that it failed to remove the strongest Pokemon from the girl's team, the Pokemon levitated in the air in waiting. Its single eye focused on in intently on the Pokemon she would use as her saviour. As the light settled from summoning the Pokemon, the Magnemite could not quite process its luckiness. Instead of a beastly sized brute of a Pokemon, it was up against a mere baby or instead more fitting a hatchling. All it would have to do is thwart the infantile Pokemon and the female trainer would have to flee. As it magnetically clutched onto the Pokemon it had so sneakily stolen, the Pokemon prepared itself for battle. It may not have had its full power ready to vanquish the remaining opponent but it was certain enough it could deal with a mere baby. This was an act of desperation by the teenage girl or least that it was the Magnemite had analysed. Given how restricted the shell of the Togepi was around its body, Magnemite was delighted to see its speed was much faster than that of the Togepi. Seeing as it was and the probability of an effective move against the steel magnet was pretty low, it decided the best course of action was to weaken it to the point of being defeated in one fell swoop. The floating magnet began shifting its magnetic polarities and created a ear shredding noise that pierced the ears of all those in the vicinity. The Togepi did its best to block it but it could feel that its defences were already lowered harshly. The Magnemite had successfully used its Metal Sound move to complete the first half of its plan. It was now the Togepi's turn. Knowing it had very little in its arsenal, the Magnemite nonchalantly floated in the air before it. Its defensive Steel type resistances would likely shield it from anything too powerful. This arrogance was short lived however as the Pokemon understood the implication of the move it had just ordered its Togepi to use. Metronome. If the Pokemon had the ability to do so, it would have inevitably gulped and began sweating bullets. The Magnemite was more than aware of the wild card like strength of Metronome. It was a move that could theoretically be anything from the ever growing list of Pokemon moves. Nothing was too impossible, it could mimic status lowering moves like Leer and Scary Face and even moves rivalling that of gods such as Judgement. The chances of it backfiring entirely and the Pokemon ending up using Splash were more than impossible. As the Magnemite clenched its eye shut the Togepi initiated the move. Its cute little finger danced from side to side as it accessed the plethora of Pokemon moves available. What would happen was something none of them expected. The Togepi seemed to pause on the spot before taking action. The protective shell around the Togepi then began splintering off into pieces! The pieces of shell that broke off were concentrated mostly around the Togepi's arms and legs, effectively freeing them up so it could attack and strike at a much skilful rate. Of course, this left a defensive chink in the armour so to speak but the Togepi looked buffed up from what it did. The Magnemite analysed what had just happened and came to the conclusion. " Move initated: Checking data banks... Success. Togepi has used Shell Smash. Advise extreme caution." The fact it had access to Metronome meant the next round could prove possibly fatal. Only luck would be able to decide the outcome. Trap Battle

Hearing the ear piercing screech slice through the air around them, Sharada instinctively held both her hand over her ears, digging her nails through her hair. The sound was unbearable, having a similar effect of nails scrapping down on a chalk board. Though this was much more overpowering. As the Metal Sound came to a sudden halt, Sharada nervously removed her hands from her ears, shaking her head violently to try and rid her mind of the high pitch ringing sound which was still occurring. Focusing worriedly on Togepi, it seemed that she was also more than rattled by the sudden sound. Trying it's best to remain brave and prepared for the next move from the Magnemite, it didnt let a single tear escape from it's little pitch black eyes. Even with it's defense now lowered and the battle probably leaning in favour of the magnet, Sharada couldnt help but force a smile at the sight of Togepi, "How adorable."
With it's arms now waggling, Sharada braced herself for the worst. Metronome could either bring out a completely useless move or even an explosive one, which of course would leave her completely Pokemon-less. Biting her lip, it seemed Togepi had began it's random move. Luckily for her, it was nothing devastating. Or atleast, it seemed that at first glance. With a protective barrier surrounding the Togepi and then slowly began peeling off, Sharada wasnt overly sure on what the move was but Togepi sure had a confident aura about her.
The battle had now moved on to round two and neither of them had exactly laid a physical move on each other. Her next choice was fairly difficult in her mind, a psychic move such as Extrasensory probably wouldnt do all that much damage on the Magnemite before her. Though, another Metronome with Togepi's newly boosted stats could prove to be useful. Either way, with not much time lingering over her and the future of her other pokemon resting on her shoulders, Sharada nodded sharply before turning to Togepi, "Metronome again!" Hoping the next attack would be devastating, she crossed her fingers again, as long as the Magnemite wouldnt run off her with pokeballs, she would fight it for as long as it wanted.
