The tiny baby Pokemon that was Togepi seemed somewhat wary of the dark. It had never been in such an atmosphere before and it was spooked to say the least. The floating metal plate with glowing eyes that hid just beyond the veil of light didn't help calm matters either. It looked at Togepi curiously and could not understand why such a small creature would be sent forth as a defender. It had slumbered for what seemed like an age and things were not as it remembered it. Nevertheless, despite the ancient creature unable to convey its feelings, Sharada went ahead and ordered an attack. Time and time before, Togepi had used Metronome to great success despite the probable odds of it backfiring some how. This time around the small little egg baby wiggled its finger and waited for the given move to take action. As always, there was a slight pause with Togepi, as if it was figuring out how a move worked as it accessed something at random. As Togepi began fiddling on the spot, it became apparent that whatever random moved it had selected, it was taking shape. All of a sudden the Togepi cried out and patted its mouth as if it had just sampled a taste bud destructively hot curry. It then coughed and up came a barrage of tiny embers that splattered against Bronzor, burning against it in the protest. The metal being wailed with a rather disorientated voice as it felt that it was melting. Togepi burped cutely and covered its mouth. As the embers died down, Bronzor was quick to retaliate. It may have been an infant but it was going to pay for such a horrific attack. It's eyes became fiercely aglow and Togepi began losing its balance, falling over in the process and wobbling helplessly on its back. That was a rather mean Confusion. Wild Battle

Crossing her fingers behind her back, Sharada prayed that Togepi wouldn't summon up a move that would fire back on her. The last thing she wanted was for the small egg to hurt itself in anyway. Even Mareep who continued to stand next to her trainer gave a look of confusion as if to ask why she had selected Togepi of all things. The baby pokemon was indeed confused at her release into the darkness and even more so when she was faced with a glowing eyed ancient plate.
Both Sharada and Mareep's eyes moved in time with Togepi as her arms began to shake from side to side. As she came to a halt and began acting strangely, especially when she patted at her mouth, the panic really started to kick in. The female trainer would feel so guilty if she suddenly threw up acid but even the sight of the dancing flames shooting out made her jump slightly. The fact that Togepi could pretty much pull off any move and end it with such a cute smile only made her even more mysterious. The Bronzor, on the other had, had been levitating around it pain. It seemed the fiery attack had done some good.
Preparing an empty Pokeball in her hand, Sharada winced at the sight of Togepi rolling onto her back due to his psychic attack. Lobbing the ball forwards, she immediately dived towards Togepi, using a hand to gently roll her back to her feet.

What a wake up call the Bronzor had awoken to. It had slumbered for hundreds of years only to be snagged and placed into a further suspension for who knows how long. The Pokeball ensnared it in its red light, only briefly piercing the darkness that it had used as it blanket for what seemed like an eternity. As always, the trusty metallic sphere fell to the ground and began wobbling as if to contain the Bronzor and make it know its place. Once, twice, third and...

Your Togepi fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 1 level and is now Level 19! It also earned +2 Happiness! Dark Cave now fell silent once more as if all living things had vacated the earlier aside from Sharada and her team. By now, despite the bright light that was protecting her from being swallowed in darkness, it seemed to be playing deceitful tricks on the poor lone trainer. Every now and then what seemed like a male figure brushed past off in the distance, located where the light could not penetrate. Of course, it couldn't possibly be a man as how would someone be able to survive in the cave without a light source and be able to know his way around with perfect clarity in this blinding darkness. Nevertheless, an ongoing beat seemed to reverberate from deeper within the cave. If Sharada chose to follow it, who knows what she might encounter.

As the ball shook to a halt and swiftly returned back to Sharada's hand, she began to examine it with a confused glance on her face. She was pleased to capture such a unique looking Pokemon but knowing nothing about it just made her even more intrigued to find out what it was. Placing it safely back into her bag, she knelt to the floor and began to gently pat Togepi who had waddled over to her ankles, "Good job Togepi, I knew I could count on ya." Grinning at the baby pokemon's cheerful chirp, she decided to lift Togepi up in one arm, "Since you're getting a little stronger, I wonder what else we could find..."
It was at that exact moment when something caught her eye from the corner of the darkness. For a second, she could've sworn that she had heard the sound of breathing and atleast a step or two. Either way, whatever had just almost approached her seemed human sized and the very thought scared her silly. Clutching onto Togepi tightly, a rather shaken Sharada turned back towards the exit, "C-Cmon Mareep, it's about time we tail it outta here." The sheep was incredibly pleased about leaving and had hopped a few steps on ahead, making Sharada pick up her pace. Togepi, however, was seeing this as a game, chirping loudly and patting her arms against Sharada's hands in a childish way. Her cries were clearly giving away her position, let alone the burst of light around her caused by Mareep.

The shadowed figure was unmistakeably there at this point or was as good as confirmed. Despite its sudden movements dashing from one area to the next, the being was now giving away its position with ever so faint noises. As Sharada hastened her exit from the cave, it seemed to be honing in; closer and closer to her. She had now made it back to where there was running water and the creepy figure chasing her seemed to halt. It seemed as if it couldn't cross the body of water dividing them on two sides of the cave. Although given a brief chance to catch her breath, one of the many inhabitants of the cave seemed to have other ideas. Right beneath the very soles of her feet, the earth that was situated there seemed to be moving. Something was pushing itself through all the dirt and was trying to surface! A few moments later of intense struggling and a rather dopey looking face pushed itself through and let out a small groan as if it had been trapped under there for ages. Looking up it had realised that a trainer was above it and was under the false impression it was trying to stomp on it! With a further few struggles, the yellow creature plopped itself out of the hole it had been digging and tried to look threatening as it opened its mouth but on the contrary came off as bit of a cutie. A cute widdle wild Dunsparce (Level 10) has appeared!

Feeling it was best to leave, the odd noises which seemed to creep up closer and closer behind her was starting to make her even more nervous. Had all the cries she had been hearing really Pokemon or perhaps they were coming from something else? Maybe even a person. Either way, the sounds from behind her were starting to sound like something which was perhaps about her own size and if it was a Pokemon or human, either way she didn't want to find out.
In her nervous state, her speed walking suddenly turned into a sudden bolt for the door. The cave was pitch black without Mareep's flash, but even the darkness was slowly starting to ease, suggesting she was rapidly approaching the cave's exit. The familiar sound of the flowing stream and dripping water soon gave her a bit of hope, remembering them as the drops she had heard when she very first entered. Taking a skipping jump over the rather thin stream of water, Mareep followed closely to her ankles whilst the odd noise behind them came to a stop.
Continuing a few more steps ahead, Sharada rested her back against a pillar of rock to regain her breath, waving a hand to Mareep, indicting to lower the intensity of the light. But then again, that didn't matter since Togepi was still chirping away happily after all the running they were just doing. "Wh-what the heck was that?" Sharada questioned only to suddenly feel the ground moving beneath her feet.
Not being able to catch a break, she skipped away from the mound of earth what was uplifting and spotted a rather adorable face poking out from the mud. Her legs instantly felt like jelly as the cuteness of this creature and eased Togepi back to the ground, "What an adorable little thing!" The small egg Pokemon tilted her head to the side, observing the Dunsparce as it wiggled it's way out of the ground. With a cute giggle of her own, Togepi began clapping her hands together cheerfully as the Dunsparce opened it's mouth, trying to growl. Pouting her lips into a smile, she turned to Togepi, "Hit it with Extrasensory."

The Dunsparce was pretty cross about being almost stomped upon and having some babe in arms being sent out to battle it only added insult to injury. It flapped its big mouth trying to let out an intimidating roar but all that proceeded to come fort was comparable to that of a squeaky toy. Honk. Honk. Honk. No matter what it did, its voice came out the same and it eventually resigned itself to the fact its vocal ability was never going to be of much aid in making the battle any easier for it. As Sharada commander Togepi's move, the little baby began concentrating, giggling with absolute glee as its head seemed to expand out of its skull and allowed it to see the world around it differently. It then honed in on Dunsparce and began targeting weak points with psychic force. Dunsparce cried out at being poked in such unsavoury places and flopped up and down on the spot. They say Magikarp were useless with their splash attack but Dunsparce was proving to be almost as bad as it did little to shrug it off but a tiny flail. As Togepi settled down, the land snake Pokemon bobbled forward using its tiny wings to try and make it close in faster but did little else. As it plopped itself before Togepi it poked its head forward with an angry honk of its cry. The move it had just done was rage but... It seemed too pitiful to be considered a bout of rage. With Togepi up for battling the Dunsparce, the cried which escaped from it's flapping mouth only made the little egg squeal with delight. It was a baby afterall and this thing was literally just a cute and entertaining toy. Even it's little wings which were flapping angrily on it's back just made it look even cuter. Dunsparce was just one of those things that no matter what it did, it was adorable. Almost rivaling that of how Sharada felt her Togepi and Swablu was. As the small egg like Pokemon unleashed her attack, the effect if had on the Dunsparce was clearly seen as it began flailing at an incredible rate.
Rather pleased with herself, Togepi began bouncing up and down on the spot, her eyes closed so tightly due to her happy expression that she didn't notice the land snake fluttering it's way over. As it opened it's mouth, Sharada braced herself for the attack. Perhaps it was something which looked fragile but really could be quite powerful?... Well, no. That idea went straight out of the window as Togepi didn't even blink at the attack it had just done. With a mischievous grin, Sharada called out to Togepi, "How about we be adventurous with a Metronome?"

Metronome! What fun these words were to the adorable little Togepi. Sharada had ordered this move a number of times and each and every time it had performed the action, it did something it could never dream of. As it began waggling its finger cheekily it pondered curiously as to what would happen next. After a number of waggles it froze and seemed to be learning momentarily how to do an attack. As it raised its little fist it seemingly shot past to the other side of the battlefield and punched a bullet hole right into the Dunsparce's side. Togepi wobbled its way back satisfied with the move it had just done. Dunsparce flopped at being hit so fiercely and at such a great speed and felt his rage build up inside him. This would have been a perfect time to hit back but instead the Dunsparce felt something come over its body. Its mouth opened and closed slowly before it opened it for the last time and let out a mammoth yawn that seem to be highly infectious. Togepi, who was standing by Sharada's feet, had to cover its own mouth as it began yawning cutely. Why the Dunsparce was feeling tired at time like this was anyone's guess. Wild Battle

The scene of Togepi waggling it's arms from side to side never became uninteresting in Sharada's eyes. The thought of the little egg producing any move was always interesting yet terrifying at the same time. In this occassion, Togepi seemed to spring forwards and began sending a rally of small punches on the Dunsparce. It was a fairly cute sight considering her arms were so tiny but by now the little land snake was starting to look a bit tired. So tired that it let out a yawn which effect both Togepi and Sharada. Even Mareep who was hiding once more behind Sharada's legs was starting to feel a little droopy.
In fear of falling asleep in such a nasty place with all sorts of strange things about, Sharada shook her head furiously to break herself out of it. Pinching a spare Pokeball off her belt, she sent it forward with a toss of her wrist.
Used; x1 Pokeball

Having the ball being thrown at it was something the Dunsparce had never really encountered before. It honestly thought it might have been some sort of toy for it to play with but as it landed upon it, it floated backwards and sucked in the simple minded land snake Pokemon. Falling the floor, the ritual shake began. Once, twice, thrice and...!

Your Togepi fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 1 level and is now Level 20! It also earned +2 Happiness! With another of the Dark Cave's denizens captured and added to Sharada's ranks, it seemed as if the cave wasn't as threatening as first thought. There was still the troubling fact of someone else stalking them in the dark. While Sharada had been distracted it wasn't too unbelievable to believe that it could have crossed the expanse of water running through the cave and was slowly creeping its way to Sharada at this point. Off in the distance was the cave entrance, a small ray of light peering through it. There was still far more to explore in the cave but it was time to decide if it would be worth venturing forth to explore.

Dunsparce Name: Quetzalcoatl Gender: None Level: 10 Moves: Rage, Defence Curl, Yawn Ability: Serene Grace Nature/Personality: Typical of it's species, Quetzalcoatl is naturally shy of both Pokemon and humans and in most cases uses it's tail to drill a hole in the ground to hide in, even if the hole is big enough for just it's face. Besides Sharada, Togepi is pretty much the only exception to this rule as he see's the small egg as a mere baby and is able to to keep her occupied with merely his voice as he sounds and acts like a squeaky toy to her. Happiness: 0

Togepi was incredibly pleased with herself for helping her trainer to collect yet another two Pokemon for her collection. What was even better was that the Dunsparce they had just captured, Togepi had a really cute attraction to. With a warm smile, Sharada congratulated the small egg on her victory before returning it for some well deserved rest. Now was the next option, she was so close to the exit again but there might've been a chance of other weird and wonderful creatures similar to Dunsparce. Remembering the strange humanoid shape and constant pestering from Mareep pretty much made her mind up, however. "Alright... Thank you for all your support, Mareep." The female trainer grinned, patting the sheep happily on the head before turning to the limited amount of light there were approaching. It seems they had made it to the exit.
