Joe grinned smugly and watched as his Meowth returned to him for his next order. Joe eyed the Pidgey knowingly as it was on it's last legs. Joe then looked back to the Meowth and realised this was an important battle for him and he had to win it. "Okay, next up, repeat your Thief attack and really stick it to him like you mean it!" Joe finished his order but it seemed Meowth had already charged off with extreme prejudice.

[Morrigan]

The Pidgey breathed even heavier now. Its winged body was slowly collapsing more towards the floor. Its eyes glared at the Meowth... How come he had become more powerful? It had probably only been a few days since they last fought.

The finally, the Meowth dealt the final blow, causing the Pidgey to slowly flop onto it's back. It had fainted.

Joe clapped as Meowth won victoriously over his long time rival and called him over after he had dealt the finishing blow. "Well done, kiddo! You're definitely getting better now. C'mon, now you've done that we need to get out of here." Joe returned his Meowth back to his Pokeball and looked around the surrounding area in case there were any other signs of life. After assuring himself there wasn't he began running off in an opposite direction from New Bark Town. "Won't be long before I reach Cherrygrove City..." He thought to himself.
