Eightball couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh. "Haw, try as you might but my Magmar's flames will burn no matter how much water you pour on it." As matter of fact as the type advantage the Squirtle had over Magmar was, Eightball was very confident on the fact that he had the upper hand due to the fact his Pokemon was evolved. "Kinda odd to see someone training a Squirtle at that age. Most people are quick to evolve them off the bat." It did seem very odd in his mind, it wasn't something he was against, if anything it reminded him of himself in some regards he had a few Pokemon under his tutelage that he felt no need to evolve due to them functioning just as well. Either way, the battle was well under way and it was time to get rid of the cause of his peace being disturbed. As Sandy had ordered her Squirtle, the speedy little turtle took advantage of the fact how slow this Magmar was and began launching its super soaker styled Water Gun attack. As the stream of water jettisoned forward, Eightball's face turned to one of complete worry. He gritted his teeth and his eyes nervously fell onto his beloved bikes and parts. If they got splashed he would turn even more ferocious than a Primeape who had just activated its Anger Point ability. The watery stream landed directly on Eightball's Magmar but fortunately had missed all of the bikes stashed away in the storehouse. Eightball wiped the sweat that had formed from his forehead but realised his Pokemon had been squirted. He turned to it with worry. "MAGMAR!" The fiery Pokemon began shaking itself furiously and lifted its arms up in the arm. As it did, a fiery outburst seared from the Pokemon's body. It really didn't like water but it was still in the game for now. Although Magmar's flames were still intact, the fire was burning nowhere near as brightly. Eightball growled under his breath and came to a decision on his order. "Alright Magmar, Faint Attack!" The Magmar's face depicted a particularly devious looking grin upon it as it disarmingly began staggering forward. It swayed from side to side, completely non-threateningly, it was almost akin to the drunken revellers you would see sauntering their way home after a good piss up down the local pub. It came within inches to the Squirtle and stopped. It seemed to be looking towards the floor, arms at its side. Preceding anyone's reaction to this sudden change over Magmar, it then began burning its body brightly before leaning backwards, swinging its arms with great momentum and then landing a swift sucker punch to Berry. Eightball began chuckling to himself in his deep tone and finished with a delighted sigh. "Hits without fail. Gotta love it." Battle

Sandy looked over to Berry, who, though not to affected, was trying to shake off the faint attack, which had shocked her. A frown played on Sandy’s face as she watched the turtle’s attempts to recover. She was impressed with Berry’s speed over the Magmar, which was one thing they were out to prove. A Pokémon could be just as well off not evolving.
“Berry, are you alright?” She asked the turtle softly. Berry nodded, grateful for the question, and shook her head before standing strong once again. Sandy nodded at her before looking back at Eightball. She listened to him talk about how most people evolved their Pokemon right away.
“Well, Berry isn’t ready to evolve yet, and I’m not going to force her to do something she doesn’t want to do. That and I don’t think her size will make a difference. I’ve always been afraid that if she evolves, she’ll change, and she seems to think the same thing, so she won’t evolve, unless she’s finally ready to.” Berry looked in agreement to every word her trainer had said.
“Now let’s go, another water gun!” The turtle obliged, shooting another jet of water off at the Magmar.

Eightball's jaw dropped as the opponent shrugged off the Faint Attack as if it was nothing. "What?! I thought that would've given me the upper hand...!" His eyes narrowed as they fell upon Berry. He seemed to be intently gazing at the Pokemon for some reason. After a moment of awkwardness he let out a rowdy laugh and shrugged. "Well kid, I give ya props for that one at least." Sandy's words concerning not evolving her Pokemon only made his respect for her rise. "Y'know, considering you don't look all that old, you're wise beyond yer years." He fell a little solemn and thought back to when one of his previous Pokemon evolved. "Their personality can change. It's like they're an entirely different being..." He shook his head out of it and shrugged. "Still, you may have my respect on that part but you still ain't in my good books for trespassin' 'ere!" As Sandy ordered the next round to start with her move for Berry, Eightball growled to himself. " Dis girl's fast going!" He looked on disgruntled as the tenacious Squirtle let loose a forcible stream of water that super soaked his Magmar. It was now on its last legs and its once brightly burning flames were now dull. "Dammit Magmar, let's put her in her place! Faint Attack!" His Pokemon enacted the move out the same as before and oddly enough the ability for this move to take the Pokemon by surprise worked just as well. Unfortunately for Eightball and his team it didn't do any real significant damage. His eye twitched and he spoke in a low tone. "If Magmar faints I got a whole damn team to back me u-" His hand froze. He had gone to pick out some more Pokemon but realised he had nothing else on him. "WHAT THE?!" He exclaimed. It appeared he had misplaced his Pokeballs. Battle

Sandy sighed softly and once again turned to her trusted partner. “Berry, do you need to stop?” When berry refused, she turned back to face Eightball and Magmar. She took a deep breath and called out to Berry again
“Berry, let’s be quick about this, go one more time with Water Gun!” she was happy that Eightball hadn’t brought his whole team along, or she could have been in trouble. Berry fired another jet of water, and hoped it hit, since this Magmar was getting dangerous with its faint attack. Sandy was calmer than she should have been though, thanks to the company of her Pokémon.

SPLOOSH! That was it! Berry's well aimed Water Gun attack had delivered the coup de grace. Magmar was steaming from having so much water splashed upon him and was now entirely faded from when he had first entered the battle. He swivelled around on the spot, trying to make sense of everything but quickly succumbed to unconsciousness. Slumping to the floor ungracefully it seemed Berry and Sandy had made quite the formidable team and doused Magmar's burning flames as Merton had asked. Eightball silently returned his Pokemon and clicked his jaw dejectedly. Battle
Eightball's Magmar | Level 20 | Health : 0%Status : KO'd ... Berry | Level 23 | Health : 44% Status : Normal Super Soaker! Victory!
Your Squirtle fought courageously and has levelled up! It went up by 2 levels and is now Level 25! Berry would like to learn the move Water Pulse. Delete a move in order to learn Water Pulse?
As his other Pokemon had been misplaced, Eightball had lost the battle. He stormed his way by Sandy but not before he had a few last parting words to say. "Hey kid. Appearances are deceivin'. I always known that. But you definitely got what it takes." He looked down to Berry and gave it a nod. "I'll act like I didn't see ya 'ere. So you best get goin' otherwise there'll be trouble." He looked over to the door behind them and proceeded past it, his heavy footsteps being heard far off into the distance. Sandy would have at this point been able to report back to Merton had he not magically appeared. A rustle of a cape could be heard and gave way to Merton who was standing in the corner of the room. "Ohohohoho my dear, my dear~! You were simply sublime, wonderful, fanastico, marvellous, outstanding, MAGNIFICENT~!!" He would have applauded her on had he not realised he was over doing it again. "Mmhhmm." He span around on the spot and laughed riotously. "You sure told that big ol' ogre! I sincerely owe you for that favour. Quite the show too, I loved my little camouflage cape. I'm not all about style i'll have you know, myes." He moved over to the other end of the storehouse and stood by what seemed to be a garage exit. "I know it might not be much buuuuuu~uuuut!" He gestured towards a switch as a large amount of confetti sprung out of his sleeve. "I figure you might like access to something special!" He pressed the switch and coughed to himself. "I'm afraid i'm not referring to my one of a kind magic variety shows but...!!!" He turned to the now open garage door and yelled out. "Ta~daaaaaaaaa!!" Before them was the sunlight beating through the new opening. As their eyes adjusted Merton pointed towards a rather withered looking tree. "Here is our delightful honey tree. Lather a bit on here and a bit on there and you can get yourself all SOOO~OORTS of goodies!" He fell silent and began playfully sobbing to himself. "Oh boo~hoo! We can't get access to anymore honey so it's gone a bit to waste...!" He wept into his arm for a good few minutes before mentioning something else. "Of course, i'm not the one who looks after this place. Our resident girly girl does but seeing as she's off on a walkie... I give you my full permission to use this!" He stood back and nodded. "Feel free, i'll be off before Eightball gets back..." His voice had changed into a resentful drawl but he managed to muster his typical voice back before prancing off. "Au revoir!" OOC: So yes! Here you have it! You're the first person to access the warehouse's honey tree. Feel free to use whenever. :) Least I can do for all the mod replies you gave me. ;D

Sandy listened to what Eightball said as he moved past her, and she looked at Berry, who had jumped into her arms upon beating Magmar, beaming with pride in herself. Sandy smiled down at the turtle, stroking her shell briefly before lifting her into the air. She chuckled and brought her down again.
“I knew you could do it girl!" She assured her, letting her climb onto her shoulder. Sandy stretched and was suddenly surprised as the Magician from earlier, Merton, standing near to her. She was quite amused at how eccentric he was, and she was glad to see someone with so much spirit in a place like this. He told her about the Honey tree in the back, and she smiled sweetly.
“Right, thankyou Merton, I’ll go take a look at that.” She moved through the door and came to the back, which was filled with grass and a single tree, the promised Honey tree. Sandy had managed to buy a jar of Honey from one of the stores back in Violet city, and removed it from her bag, coming to the trunk of the tree. She kneeled and opened the jar, and berry watched as she slathered the honey on the base, and stepped back when her work was done. She then signaled to Berry to wait with her a bit further away from the tree. She had to wonder what would show up, if anything at all.

The lone honey tree in the back of the abandoned warehouse was an imposing sight to say the least. Aside from the warehouse itself, this was the only other point of interest as far as the eye could see. The surrounding area seemed to be nothing but plains as far as the eye could see over to the horizon. The gentle breeze that ushered past it seemed to make it sway as if dancing melancholy. The tree may be slightly withered and have seen a lot in its life but it still stood firm. With the honey lovingly smothered onto its bark, the nutrients from it would do it some good. However, there was one problem which would mean the tree wouldn't be the sole partaker of the honey. The troublesome breeze that blew past it carried the mouth watering scent to the nearby wild patches of grass. It wasn't long before the smell had grabbed the attention of a rather manic looking Pokemon. Twitching its eyes and tilting its head from side to side, it was partially obscured by the grass. With a final gush of the breeze, it delivered another tantalising smell of honey. That was it, this Pokemon was going to treat itself to some delectable honey! The grass hiding it parted to the side and a cheeky looking monkey darted towards the bark and clutched onto the side of the tree. Its head was motioning up and down at an insane rate as its greedy tongue took in all of the honey Sandy had added to the bark. Totally enthralled by the honey tasting, the Aipom had totally ignored the fact a Pokemon and her trainer were standing right behind it. Congratulations! Your honey has attracted a wild Pokemon!A wild Aipom (Level 18) is licking up the honey in a crazed manner! Please select a Pokemon to battle.

Sandy watched as the Monkey darted from between the grass, greedily licking up the Honey she had spread on the bark. It was an Aipom, something that wasn’t a common sight as far as she was concerned. This was wild. She Looked down at Berry, who seemed to be urging her to battle with it, and nodded slowly. She decided it would be bad to use Berry, since she was too strong for this Aipom, and she had one shot at capturing it.
“Let's go Hiro!” Hiroki appeared in front of the girl in moments, and she nodded to the Mole and directed him to look towards the Aipom. She breathed in and quickly caught Aipom’s attention.
“Hey Aipom!” Now that it probably knew of her presence, she raised and arm and shouted to Hiroki.
“Come On Hiro, use Scratch okay?” Hiroki spun around in his plot of earth gladly, making his way to the Aipom to hopefully deliver a good scratch attack (However he was able to execute that anyway). Sandy was actually really interested in capturing the Purple Monkey.

"Hey Aipom!" The cry out to its name made it freeze. It seemingly hung to the tree for ages until its head decidedly began turning around to face who had just called its name. It was a rather eerie sight, like something out of a bizarre horror film but just as it seemed the head would turn a full 180 degrees, it moved its body with it to face directly. The Long Tail Pokemon stood on its own two feet as it assessed what was directly in front of it. A trainer and some Pokemon. It wasn't entirely sure but it looked like it wasn't going to be getting away easily. The mole type Pokemon that was in front of it also piqued its curiosity. It was about to charge over and feel it over with its long tail but jumped back slightly as the Diglett burrowed underground and headed towards it. The cheeky little thing had no idea what was going on but the word "scratch" didn't sound too comforting. It looked around as a mound of earth had now completely encircled it but froze as the bit of earth it had been standing on that was now a small circular island next to the dug up floor began to shake and it fell down a whole. There were a few cries from Aipom as it struggled about with the odd time its small little purple arms or its handy tail trying to grab itself from out of the whole. After a great kerfuffle the Aipom broke free and retreated to safer grounds. Diglett had also popped its head up by then and dug its way back to its trainer. Aipom was berserk! That was a pretty underhand tactic. It looked at the mole and decided its attack. This little mole had dealt a fair bit of damage so it was hoping to take it down a notch or two at the very least. It sprinted over to Hiro and with its unusually long tail, whipped it forward and began a tickling motion with the finger like appendages on its tail. The tickle attack was merciless and Hiro seemed to be laughing in tears over how ticklish it felt. The Aipom stopped abruptly and grinned to itself on the spot. The next turn would see its plans coming together. As it resumed its position, it stood up on its tail as to avoid any more sneaky little grabs from under the earth. When it went underground with the Diglett, it saw things no living thing should bear witness to. An unspeakable horror had awaited it. Dun dunn dunnn! Wild Battle

Sandy frowned a bit. She knew this Aipom now had an edge since using tickle, and she didn’t exactly like it. Though, maybe this was to be used to an advantage. She had been afraid to use an Earthquake since she didn’t know how much damage it could do to the monkey, but now Hiroki’s attack stat had been lowered, and it might not be as much of a danger.
Berry frowned, looking up at Sandy with worried eyes. Was she planning on catching this thing? Because to her, it looked sort of annoying… Almost as annoying as Scatter, and it was purple…just like Scatter. If this thing was to be added to the team, she was dead. Oh well, she decided, at least she still had some intelligent team member…okay…maybe one intelligent team member.
Sandy looked down at Berry, who seemed to be fretting over nothing, shook her head and turned her attention back to the battle.
“Alright Hiro, let’s try and shake things up a bit with Earthquake!” Hiroki let Berry clamber up onto Sandy’s shoulder before digging underground, and starting to churn up one of his Earthquake attacks. He had been hoping Sandy would use this move of his, because oh boy did he like Earthquakes.

With Hiro now underground the Aipom was on its guard. It gently bobbed in the air as its prehensile tail managed to keep it aloft. However this would do little to deter the effects of a mighty earthquake being summoned. With the Diglett now rapidly tunnelling its away underground and shifting the the most immediate plates, the whole of the overgrown garden seemed to sway uncontrollably. Had it not been for the deeply entrenched roots of all the vegetation, the effects of the earthquake would have been far more dire. Instead, the bulk of the quake was directed on Aipom. Large lumps of the flooring shifted upwards and smacked him thoroughly in the face, resulting in Aipom losing its balance on its tail and now tittering about on the floor. A small mound of earth popped up by Sandy's feet and revealed Hiro had finished its attack. The earthquake quickly subdued and left the Aipom incredibly dizzy and fumbling about as it tried to regain its balance. At least, that's what any rational being would have done. Instead the crazy critter began leaping its way forward ungracefully until it stopped before Hiro. With its tail now concealing its face, it then shockingly revealed it with a loud cry. Astonish was never going to be a heavy hitter move but it could at least damage the tunnelling pest somewhat. Its job done, the Aipom back flipped its way to its position and then stood on its arms almost as if it were taunting the tiny mole. Wild Battle

Sandy decided there was enough of fooling around with this little monkey. It was quite cheeky, and Berry on one hand, was starting to get annoyed with it. Hiroki, on the other hand, was amused greatly by this Monkey. It acted just like him!
The Aipom was everything the mole had wanted in a friend, if they ended up making friends with it that was. Sandy smiled as she saw the look on the Diglett’s face.
It was clear as the mole moved excitedly in place, that he wanted her to capture the Aipom, and she actually wouldn’t have any objections to keeping it with her. Sighing, she lifted a Great Ball from her bag and held it in her palms for a moment. She then gave a sigh and smiled at Hiroki.
“Well you know, if this is what you want then okay.” She tossed the ball and watched as it slapped the monkey on the head. She didn’t mean to throw it in that general area, but it must have shifted while she wasn’t looking.

The Great ball flew through the air and with a knock on the Aipom's head, absorbed inside the ball. The reaction on the Aipom's face was priceless as it wasn't quite sure what this strange device was. Nevertheless, with it now inside, the ball clunked to the floor and began wiggling from side to side. Once. Twice and... NO! It appeared that Aipom was a little bit too excited to settle down just yet. As the Greatball disintegrated from being split into. The Aipom seemingly jumped on the spot excitedly and began chuckling to itself at the ball not working. Having just consumed a vast amount of honey, the Aipom had a little bit more excess energy to burn off. Not one to leave a fight unfinished, it pranced its way over to Hiro again and repeated its Astonish attack. This time as it hid away its face, it revealed forth a rather stupid looking face with his eyes crossed and tongue sticking out. The Pokemon's face was almost as elastic as Jim Carrey. Although Hiro was entertained by these weird and wonderful faces, the sudden shock of being greeted with such a warped face was enough to wear it down some. With a playful excursion back to its position by the honey tree, the Aipom now stood on its own two feet and seemed to be anticipating what Sandy and her Pokemon would do next. It had barely just broke out in time from that Greatball and really wasn't looking forward to another. Wild Battle

Sandy shook her head. Of course that wasn't going to work. She mentally cursed herself for doing that so early and instead picked a super potion from her bag, spraying it onto Hiroki before standing up again. She sighed and tried to think of the best way to bring the Aipom's health down more. When she finally thought of it, she called out to Hiroki.
"Try scratch once more!" She called to the Little mole, who went underground once again to try and catch the Aipom off guard. She would try a greatball again the next time, and maybe that would work.
(OOC: Alright, I'll remove the Greatball and Super potion from my inventory~)

The use of a super potion caught the Aipom's imaginative attention. The bottle was brightly coloured and sprayed out what looked like a lot of fun. Aipom imagined itself picking up the super potion with its hand like tail and then waving it about spraying it at people. Perhaps going with this female trainer wasn't such a bad idea; it was certainly warming up to the idea. Deciding to amuse Hiro some more after being healed, it dashed up and began tickling its tail fingers all over the furry little mole, making it twitch and cry out with small little cries of laughter. The tickling deeply unsettled Hiro's fighting capabilities; the poor mole was in stitches over how ticklish that cheeky little ape was being. Sandy's new strategy of using another attack to weaken the Aipom until it was catchable was now well under way. Digging its way underground towards Aipom, it appeared the little scamp had forgotten about being scratched the first time around and being taken prisoner underground. As the mound approached it, the horrors soon came flooding back. It tried to retreat but as it was so bruised and beaten, it could barely manage turning around in time. Hiro had dug a hole underneath its feet and sent it crashing down causing it to get glancingly scratched. Hiro relented and retreated back to its spot. Aipom begrudgingly made its way out of the hole in the earth and then looked to the opponents. They sure knew how to fight! All it could do was barely waltz its way forward in a staggered manner before it did another game of peek-a-stonish causing the Diglett to reel back in surprise. Sandy now had another opportunity at catching it as it was now wearily panting on the other side of its given space. Wild Battle
