A Fishy Tale
"Hi, my name is Lisa and I'm just your ordinary schoolgirl. Now, uh, I have this b-boy that I really like, and I told him I wanted to talk to him after-school today. He should be h-here in an hour, but as I was sitting on the edge of the pier, some really mean Carvanha leapt out of the water and stole my present! My mom doesn't trust me with Pokémon so I can't go after them and get it back... can you help me trainer?"
Objective of this Quest:
- Find the Carvanha and retrieve Lisa's present before it's too late!
Restrictions: /Must/ have the Violet City Gym Badge and an Old Rod to take this quest.
- For those in the range of the 10-15 level range; those with higher-leveled teams are encouraged to opt for the harder difficulty where levels are adjusted to your team.
It's a lovely day in Violet City, and school has let out, sending kids scurrying for freedom. Schoolgirl Lisa is down at the jetty, waiting to surprise the boy she likes with a gift she hopes will get across her affections. But as she sits on the edge of the wooden dock, a school of Carvanha suddenly appear in the lake, two of them snatching her present right from her hands before disappearing! It's up to you to fish the scoundrels out and retrieve her gift before it ends up swimming with the fishes - in their bellies, that is.
Your character, who happens to be walking by the jetty, witness this and hurry over to ask her if she's alright. Lisa is shaken up but more upset over the fact her present has been stolen, and she begs for you to get it back for her. There are a few things you can do to help, if you so choose to assist this lovelorn girl; you can fish the Carvanha out, dive into the water and follow them, or circle round the lake and see if you can head them off before they escape.
The encounters in each option will differ, and are set in stone for each member who takes the quest. Choose carefully!
