Why do you wish to be the adoptive trainer? Sorin would be happy to give this Pichu a good home and care for it as it get's stronger. Electric types are very interesting and offer such great variety. A pichu especially needs special care and attention, and Sorin is happy to provide that.

As for the sunkern, I'll have to ask you to wait another week before adopting it, its a lot of work adopting a pokemon, let alone two! Why do you wish to be the adoptive trainer?
From a Trainer standpoint, Poochyena is a good beginner's dark type, and a good challenge for them to overcome. Poochyena is known to be a temperamental sort who intimidates others, so training them to be a good partner pokemon will take time and effort. But if they're able to do so, a loyal hound who would chase it's goals to the ends of the earth isn't a bad choice to have.
From a non-trainer standpoint, look at them. Who can literally say no to that face. I wanna hug it.

Poochyena can certainly be a challenge to train, especially for new trainers! They do make some of the best companions once fully trained.
