@zoe, unfortunately that is not how the promotion works. The special Pikachu is only available to those that were referred by an existing member of the site. This can either be through word of mouth or if they placed an advertisement on another forum. I haven't been placing any ads so it is not possible that I've recruited you.
We would like to know how our new members find us so we can find effective ways of attracting new members to the site.

The name stuck, unfortunately for the yellow mouse, and thus, he was dubbed "Lemon." At first, he hated his name, believing that it was a "weak" name; he had been hoping for a name like "Thunder" or "Lightning," something that would strike the fear in people's hearts. But nope. Unfortunately he was stuck with a "sissy" name. Lemon soon learned how to appreciate his name, and strives to have people fear the name "Lemon." Oh, they'll know soon enough, just you wait... The coolest guy around, nothing ruffles this Pikachu's fur. Trainer doesn't know how to handle Pokemon yet? That's cool. Fighting a Pokemon ten times his size? Whatever. He's always chill. It's a little unsettling? Other: New Recruit Promotion 2015. Recruiter was Marchbaby, through an advertisement on a forum I found (Dragons and Wolves, I think?) whilst wandering the internet.
