Name: Elizabeth Nessy Strider(Goes by Liz)
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Trainer Type: Coordinator
Hometown: Lavender Town
Appearance:
One look at Elizabeth makes you think the word badass. She is tall, lean, and always has a tough indifferent look on her face. Her hair is over grown and just cared for enough to look good. Elizabeth wears eye liner around her eyes in a way that others consider emo-ish. Those kind of people were beat up when they voiced their opinions. Her eyes are such a golden brown that they almost look yellow. She has so many piercings on her body which include her nose, ears, and belly button. Her clothes usually consist of a strapless gray blouse with a red stripe at the top, a light black jacket over it worn open most of the time, a black mini skirt with biker shorts under it, long stockings with a pokeball symbol near the top, black tennis shoes, and a belt made to hold pokeballs and a gun. She carries the gun everywhere and has a permit for it on her at all times.
On other occasions, Elizabeth has been known to wear other clothing. Spiked bracelets, leather jackets, collars, berets, and pointy boots to name a few things. She usually wears her usual clothes for about every season except Winter. During the Winter, she adds a pair of pants and a heavier jacket, but the overall outfit is the same. Elizabeth is not a girly girl, so anything other than dark colors...possibly anything not black would not be found on her. She pulls off a definite tomboy look.
Personality: Elizabeth is the typical punk rebel, not one who likes to listen to what others say to do. Though she acts like that toward people, she is very protective of Pokemon. She doesn't express these feelings well though and comes off as cold most the time to others. However, deep down, she is a nice woman really. She has just been through a lot in her childhood and seen a lot of death growing up. It changes people.
Even though it doesn't seem to match her personality, Elizabeth is a dedicated artist. From sketches to paintings, she is very skilled at using her hands. Though she doesn't like to let other people know it, she is a good piano player. She doesn't like showing off much as she sees it as weak. Why show off to validate yourself? She knows what she can do and that is enough. If people intentionally try to aggravate her constantly, she does give them a knock upside the head. Just hard enough to let them know to quit it.
History: Elizabeth was born in the saddest town in Kanto known as Lavender Town. Besides the huge tower filled with the remains of dead Pokemon and scary ghosts being RIGHT NEXT DOOR, living in this town exposed Elizabeth to a lot of death. From a young age she would see funeral after funeral, people crying, and misery all around. Seeing all this effected Elizabeth and caused her to really be attached to Pokemon. She was particularly close with her family's Eevee. It was a happy bundle of fur that always cheered the girl up. It got her through the funerals and the crying around her.
Sadly, the Eevee died when Elizabeth was at the age of ten. She finally knew what it was like to be one of those crying people she always saw. She couldn't bare to feel that way again. So, she decided to toughen up herself as well as her image. Her parents were very worried about the way she acted, so they tried moving to Goldenrod City in Johto. However, Elizabeth continued to act that way. Unlike other kids though, she didn't go on a Pokemon journey as she grew older. She went through normal education and graduated from high school.
From there, Elizabeth got a job working at the radio tower. It was just doing some maintenance on the equipment. She mostly did it to help her parents pay a few debts here and there. It was through the radio that Elizabeth heard about contests. The way Pokemon preformed to be graded by judges sounded interesting to her. She looked it up more and decided this was something she wanted to try. Seeing as it was something positive for Elizabeth to do, her parents supported her decision and helped her get ready for her journey. So she set off for New Bark town to get a Pokemon to start with on her journey to become a coordinator.
Goals: Elizabeth wants to have a team of very close Pokemon to live with and become an accomplished coordinator team with them. In the end, she just wants to have a great team of Pokemon to share her life with.
