After a long journey from the Hoenn region, Terri just wanted a rest. The travelling had really tired her out and she wasn’t in the mood to act sweet. It was too late to turn back now as her father had driven off and she was left in the snowy Route 29. Terri rolled her eyes as she marched towards New Bark Town, hoping to receive her first Pokémon. She couldn’t understand why her father wouldn’t just take her straight to the lab but since she wouldn’t be seeing him for a while, she didn’t want to end things on a bad note. Luckily, the Professor here hadn’t heard anything awful about her so if she’d played her cards right, she’d easily get a free Pokémon. The only problem she was having now was deciding which of the three she wanted. Honestly, she didn’t really care. None of them really appealed to her. She’d much rather something unique.
As she continued on her way, Terri began to become a little suspicious. The rustling behind her seemed to get louder by the second. She hoped it was the wind but she wouldn’t be surprised if a wild Pokémon randomly decided to attack her. Her handbag was packed with supplies in case of an emergency but it was still a little threatening in this new region. Terri had a map in her bag but she refused to look at it. She was just going to try and use the signposts. She’d hopefully wind up in New Bark Town eventually. After spending about twenty minutes making her way through the thin layer of snow, the nineteen-year-old finally had enough. She could sense that she was being followed.
The girl quickly jumped into a fighting stance. She was ready to kick the crap out of whatever training or Pokémon had been terrifying her. She glanced around slowly, looking for any movements. To her relief, all she could see were the snow covered ground, a sign post and a few of her footprints. Just as she’d convinced herself there was nothing around her, she felt something brushing against her leg. “Holy crap! What the hell?” she shrieked. Afraid of what she might find if she looked down, Terri kicked forcefully. She opened one eye to find a pink blur flying in the air. “What the-” the girl watched as a fairy like Pokémon landed face-first in the snow roughly ten feet in front of her. “You little creep! What’s your problem?!” the girl roared.
The creature slowly got to its feet and turned to face her. Its face was completely covered in snow though it didn’t seem to realise. Terri began to snigger as she saw the expression on the Pokémon’s face. It really didn’t have a clue what it was doing. “Snubb?” the Pokémon grunted. It was a Snubbull. What the fairy Pokémon was doing here was a mystery though it was still pretty entertaining. Still in a fit of laughter, Terri began to strut ahead again, leaving the pink Pokémon in the snow. “I don’t have time for you right now,” she said as she walked around it. The Pokémon exchanged an odd look with her. However, as she carried on, the Snubbull began to follow her again.
Returning to her earlier sulky mood, Terri stormed over to Snubbull. “What do you want?!” she whispered ominously. “Do you have a trainer?” She stared at the pink Pokémon, expecting a certain answer but it just continued to look at her with its puzzled look. “Well?” she said, a little louder, her patience wearing thin. Snubbull quickly nodded and then shook its head. “Which is it?” Terri roared in a confused tone. “Snubbull!” it backed away, shrugging its arms. “You don’t know? How thick are you?” Terri pressed her palm against her face and turned around. She couldn’t spend all day trying to figure this thing out.
“Snubb! Snubbull!” the Pokémon cried as Terri began to walk off once more. The girl turned around, her teeth grinded. She was ready to give the annoying beast another kick but it seemed to want to tell her something. The Pokémon began jumping up and down. It was making all sorts of gestures but Terri could hardly understand a thing it was trying to say. However, suddenly something occurred to her. “Oh! Were you maybe abandoned?” she asked. Snubbull smiled and began to clap. He quickly dashed over to her, expecting the girl to welcome him. “Oh. Tough break.” She was about to continue to New Bark Town but noticed the Pokémon was approaching her. “Oh! You want to tag along? Well, sorry to break it to you but I’m just on my way...” she trailed off. Realising that she could take the Pokémon instead of a starter, Terri beamed with delight. She realised that the Pokémon was probably abandoned for a reason but at least it would probably be trained a little already.
“Hm, I guess I can take you then,” Snubbull quickly opened its arms and rushed over to hug its new trainer. “Ew! Don’t get so close!” she squealed, throwing a Poké Ball at it. The empty sphere quickly knocked the pink Pokémon on the head, causing it to trip over. It rolled off and landed in the snow, failing to open. Terri started to last, empty-headedly as she pointed at the fairy. “You’re such a dork, you know that? Hm, I think I’ll call you Ollin.” Terri bent down a scooped up her Poké Ball, shaking the snow off of it and putting it back in her bag. “I guess you can travel on foot for now then. Just don’t slow me down.” She quickly motioned for Ollin to follow her. She wasn’t wasting any time in New Bark Town now that she had a Pokémon. She just hoped he could actually do something useful. Ollin struggled to get to his feet but happily waddled along beside Terri. A new adventure was about to unfold though which path Terri would choose was still unclear.

It was a very cold day on Route 29 indeed, and most Pokémon were either beat out to warmer places for the winter, weather, or huddled in their cozy nests. The weather had been okay the past few days, so scarcely some Pokémon were seen running around, looking for any signs of food that might still be good. Winter was hard on all the Pokémon, since the occasional snowstorm sometimes would even crash upon their dens, leaving them either snowed in or out of a home to call their own. "Sen..."Sentret pawed at the ground softly, pulling its long rabbit-like ears back, seeming upset when the snow it had moved from the way had nothing to offer lying under it. It was cold, and Sentret was one of these Pokémon who was now homeless. A recent storm had snowed in its home, and it had been wandering on the surface of route 29 for a couple of days. It was tired, and cold, and hungry, but there was nothing it could really do about all of that. Sitting up on its tail, Sentret scouted out the area. Nope, no sign of food. Sighing, it carried on. That was until it spotted Terri and Ollin. Hey, if it couldn’t find food growing somewhere, why not try a Trainer’s pack? Stealthily as it could, Sentret followed the duo. Terri stopped only briefly, and the little Scout Pokemon pounced, leaping onto her bag and trying to see what was inside. Its puffy tail brushed innocently from side to side as it tried to open the zipper on Terri’s bag. Ollin Bit onto its soft tail, making it squeak out in pain and fall from the bag. Now it was mad, and now it was going to want to fight the Bulldog! _____________________________________________________ InfoWild Sentret (Level 5) Appeared!

Before long, Terri and Ollin’s journey was interrupted by an annoying creature on the route. Terri was lucky she hadn’t come across the normal-type when she was alone as the scout Pokémon wasn’t backing off. Neither of the two noticed the normal-type rushing up behind them. It wasn’t until Terri heard saw the Pokémon’s shadow as it leaped up that she turned around. “Whaa-” she screamed, thumping the flying Sentret with her handbag. How did the idiotic creature think she wouldn’t notice it. She always kept her handbag close by her side. It may have been smaller than the average trainer’s pack but she kept all of her valuable items in there. She had no room for any berries. They would just weigh her down.
“You little freak! You could’ve injured me! Well, I’ll show you. Ollin, do something!” she roared which slightly intimidated her own Pokémon. Ollin seemed a bit puzzled but he didn’t think twice before hurrying to her rescue. The nerdy Snubbull would have preferred a command of some sort but he’d have to manage without one. His trainer hadn’t visited a lab so she had no Pokédex. She’d probably take a while to learn some of his attacks but he’d try to help her along with that. “What are you waiting for? Crush it! I’m going to be sick if we have to stay here. The stench is killing me.” the girl mocked. Terri hadn’t the slightest idea that she was tormenting the Sentret but even if she had, she probably wouldn’t care. She just wanted it gone.
Ollin nodded to the girl as she glared with disdain at their foe. If it had been her first encounter, she might have thought differently but she already had a normal-type Pokémon and it hadn’t tried to rob her. “Snubb!” Ollin declared as he waddled forwards through the snow. As usual, he was having trouble moving but as long as he knew what he was doing, he’d get the job done. The Snubbull readied himself for a Bite attack. He stretched out his mouth and revealed his small fangs as he shot towards the Sentret. “Yeah! Bite it!” Terri cheered. So far, as a trainer, she wasn’t exactly an ideal one. She’d been lucky to even capture a Pokémon. Ollin had practically invited himself along with her which was quite strange considering the other trainers that he could have begged.
While Ollin made his way towards the Sentret, Terri was distracted by her bag. She checked it carefully for any rips. If she found one, she’d probably strangle the Pokémon herself. Terri didn’t realise that Ollin was actually twice the level of his opponent. She had a nice lead on some of the others and her Pokémon was quite unusual compared to most. As she inspected the white shoulder bag, she found a tiny paw print near the zip. The girl’s face began to go red with rage as she stared on the spot. She slowly looked up at Sentret and began to roar. “Look what you’ve done! I hope you’re happy! I just bought this bag two days ago and it’s practically ruined! You can’t even buy these in this whole region! They need to be imported!” Terri’s roaring would scare anyone off but Sentret would have bigger problems. The two would be enough to drive anyone away but even if Sentret ran, Terri wasn’t going to let it off. It was going to pay for this. The normal-type would be sorry it messed with her.
As Terri stomped up and down in the snow, she was probably disturbing so many Pokémon and trainers. It was questionable whether she suffered from a multiple personality disorder. She was usually so clueless but she so easily angered. She was going to find someone else to blame in every situation. Buying a small white bag to bring out on a journey was a terrible idea but she would never admit it. With the wind, rain, snow, storms and time, the bag was bound to get dirty. Ignoring the screaming, Ollin closed in on his opponent. The scout Pokémon wouldn’t take too long to knock out. He’d battled a few Pokémon on his own before he found Terri and none of them seemed to pose any major threat to him.

Ollin gave quite a bite to the young Sentret, hanging on as the Sentret writhed back and forth, trying to shake loose of the bulldog. All it wanted was food, it didn’t actually want to battle! The dog Pokémon’s sharp teeth hurt, and were draining it of a lot of the energy it had. Energy was precious to a Pokémon in the winter, which was why most never went looking for battles in the season. Once Ollin had let go, the Sentret let out a heavy pant. Shaking its small body it realized that it was almost ready to faint. Rushing forward as fast as it could, it gave Ollin a scratch across his face. Ollin reeled back at the slight pain and discomfort he felt. Holding his face, he looked back at Terri, as if to ask what to do next. This Sentret was getting on his nerves, and he kind of wanted it to go away himself. His face now hurt, and it was all the fault of the little Scout Pokémon. Sentret gave Ollin a sneer. Nevermind the fact it hadn’t been looking for a battle, his face could have been spared if he and his trainer hadn’t flung it into battle. Those were its own thoughts though, as it waited for Ollin and Terri to make their move. ______________________________________________________

Ollin seemed pretty satisfied with his Bite attack though his face really hurt from that pesky Sentret’s Scratch. He turned to Terri to see if she’d have anything to say. As his trainer, she should have some input into the battle after all. “What did you do!?” Terri roared at the scout Pokémon, clenching her fists. She took a moment to examine Ollin’s face from where she stood. “How dare you! Now he looks even more pathetic than before! I’ll strangle you myself.” Terri raged, marching through the snow over to the opponent.
Ollin knew that his trainer wouldn’t go easy on the poor Sentret even though it was obviously almost out of energy. It had certainly picked the wrong person to mess with and was obviously regretting it now. “I’ll pummel you, you diseaseridden freak!” Ollin knew he had to do something. His trainer didn’t seem to be impressed with his last attack so he was going to have to finish that Sentret off himself. Leaping out in front of Terri, the bulldog charged at Sentret. Terri came to a halt suddenly as the Snubbull disappeared from in front of her. “Ollin, where are you? Come out now, you little wimp!” the girl commanded.
The Snubbull suddenly revealed himself to be sitting on the branch above his opponent’s head. He was trying to distract his opponent so he could finish it off, and luckily for the Sentret, it also seemed to be working on his trainer. Ollin quickly jumped at the scout Pokémon, ready to finish it off with his Faint Attack. “Snubbull, Snubb!” He knew there wasn’t even the slightest chance that Terri would want to capture Sentret after it tried to steal from her. She’d made it clear how she’d felt about the wild Pokémon with all of the insults she’d thrown at it. It was probably better she didn’t want it as the Pokémon would probably be treated horribly anyway.
Terri gazed up at Ollin as he dived from the tree. “What are you doing?” she asked, pressing her face against her palm. To her, it looked as though he’d simply tried to hide to fallen out of the tree in the process. After a few seconds, it finally hit her that he was using an attack. “Oh! Now I get it!” she grinned, her anger suddenly vanishing. Ollin’s big plan had succeeded and now everyone would be happy. He may have been clumsy but he was certainly making an impression with this strategy. His intelligence had finally surpassed his awkwardness.
As Terri watched Ollin close in on his opponent, she realised that her Pokémon was significantly stronger than most of the others in this route. She’d really lucked out when she’d found Ollin. He may not have been perfect but at least he could fight off the ugly Pokémon they encountered and she could save her strength. Maybe she could even learn some of the little guy’s attacks eventually. Terri wasn’t exactly sure of her goals yet but if she wandered around Johto for long enough, she’d probably think of something. Collecting badges was the first task she’d set herself so at least she had a distraction to keep her occupied for now.

Ollin charged with all the ferocity of an angry bull, slamming into the poor scout Pokemon before it had a chance to retaliate. Ollin honestly had not known his own strength for a moment, because he stared at the Sentret like he had just fainted a legendary Pokemon. He then shook his head and turned back to Terri. He had to wonder what this Boisterous girl would do. She didn't exactly like the Sentret, and he actually didn't feel bad he had knocked it out. If it was Terri who had battled it, it probably would have been skinned into some sort of new bag...gosh he hoped that was just his own thoughts and not Terri's as well. The Sentret was only partly awake, but it was scared. It HAD ruined her bag, the girl didn't seem to accept it was only looking for food. What would she do to it? It didn't want to guess. Maybe it wasn't as bad as either Pokemon thought. ______________________________________________________ Sentret has been defeated! Sentret wasn’t going to get any pity from Terri. She’d already made up her mind and she wanted the little pest gone. Her eyes lit up as Ollin knocked it out. “Not half bad! I think I could really get used to-” Terri began before she noticed the scout Pokémon was still conscious. “Can you do anything right?! I guess if I want to get the job finished, I have to do it myself!” she roared, rolling up her sleeves as she stormed over to the injured Pokémon.
“Snubbull, snubb!” Ollin panicked, jumping up and down to block her way. “What is it, Ollin?” she snapped, grumpily. The fairy Pokémon was finding it difficult to think on the spot but suddenly an idea hit him. He knew it was a little risky but if he waited any longer, the Sentret would be toast anyway. He raced ahead as if he’d sensed something interesting or unusual. His plan proved successful and quickly caught Terri’s interest. He tore forwards to drag his trainer away from her victim but Terri cruelly stomped down on the Sentret’s tail anyway. “That should do it!” she cackled, much to Ollin’s despair.
The Snubbull’s reason for running off was gone but he knew if he stopped now, he’d probably get the same treatment the Sentret had gotten. Maybe if the encounter had been different, Terri would have liked the poor creature. On the other hand, Ollin suspected that she wouldn’t want another normal-type. Someone with her attention span would need a diverse team to keep her interested. “Ollin, this is boring! I command you to stop running!” the girl screamed eventually. She may have been fit but running through snow was difficult and she didn’t even care what her Pokémon was after anymore.
Ollin obediently came to a halt, sighing with relief as he managed to avoid conflict with the girl. Terri was busy looking around at her surroundings and she didn’t look too happy. “When are we going to get out of this place?! Dad said Route 29 was short but this is taking forever! Something’s wrong...” she moaned. The girl, rolled her eyes as Ollin sat down. “Unless...you haven’t been dragging me around in circles, Ollin, have you?!” she roared. “If we’re lost, I’m blaming you! I knew exactly where we were until you dragged me out here!” Terri lied. “Snubbull, snubbull!” her Pokémon answered, denying all of her accusations.
“You better find a way out soon! The Pokémon here are uglier than I thought was possible!” she declared, obviously holding a grudge on her last opponent. The bulldog Pokémon pointed at Terri’s bag, frantically trying to avoid being attacked. “I know, it’s absolutely ruined! Boy, if I ever get my hands on that Sentret, I’ll-” “Snubb! Snubbull!” Ollin shook his head and pointed again. “What? You want this? Let me see. No!”
Ollin rolled his eyes and marched over to Terri and opened the bag. “Ugh, what do you think you’re doing!? I have a whole load of anger built up and don’t think I won’t let it out on you!” she roared until Ollin presented her with the map. “Oh please! Like I can read that!” She turned away and let out another sigh. She knew she hadn’t any hope of getting out of here on her own. Maybe she could find a trainer to guide her out or at least give her directions. It didn’t look like there were a lot of people out here though. If it came down to it, she could catch a flying-type to help her out. Knowing her, this wouldn’t be the only time she’d be in this situation so it would definitely be something to consider.

Quite a *****, ain't she? Terri certainly a ruthless girl, ruling her Pokemon with an iron fist. She let the whole wide world know that even just being a ***** was her on a good day. You wouldn't want to see her on a bad day... then she would more than like be Bitchzilla or something! Little Japanese people would run into their to-scale model homes as she kicks the skyscrapers down. And then, Mothra would come attacking the city! "STRRAAAAAAAR!!!" From right overhead, a flock of Starly swooped in at low altitudes, almost low enough to bash Terri right in the face! An unknown number even managed to heed the call of nature onto the girl, which no doubt had to put her into an even worse mood than before. To make things worse, all the birds landed nearby and started SQUABBLING very, very loudly! Man, it was one thing to read about this action, but it was another to hear it in person! The ears! They're bleeding! The racket that they all made were just... ugh! Could they not be stopped!? A shitload flock of Starly appeared!

Terri beamed as she gazed up into the sky. A flock of Starly were flying right overhead. It seemed as though her luck had finally changed. “A flying-type!” Terri said with a grin. Ollin backed away, scared of the girl’s sudden change in attitude. Noticing her Pokémon was treating her like she had some sort of mental disorder, Terri began to yell. “Ollin, what’s wrong with you now? You idiot, we’re saved. A flying-type Pokémon is what we need to get us out of this mess. Now go get them, you sack of crap!” she roared, pointing up into the air.
However, just as Terri did this, the bird Pokémon dropped something they’d soon wish they hadn’t. “Snubbull, snubb!” Ollin warned the passing Starly as he prepared to take off. This was going to get really ugly but the apparently the Starly didn’t care as they landed down in front of her. The bird’s seemed to be intentionally tormenting trainers but their fun would soon come to an end. The trainer’s face turned a scorching red and her breathing became loud and intense. She slowly reached for the purple beret she wore on her head. As she confirmed what she’d thought, the girl’s teeth began to chatter and her body began to shake. She looked as if she was about to explode.
Before her Pokémon had the chance to escape, Terri caught the back of his neck. “Kill them! Kill them all!” she screamed, hurling the Snubbull as though she was throwing the shot put. The trees were even beginning to shake. It was lucky the snow was light around here. If they’d been up in a mountain, there’d have surely been an avalanche by now.
“Snubbull!” Ollin cried out as he landed in the middle of the flock. The fairy considered running for it but from what he’d seen so far, this girl was athletic. She’d incorporated sporting techniques into practically everything so far. If he ran now, once she caught him things would probably be ten times worse. “I swear, Ollin, if you don’t break their necks, I’ll break yours!” she shouted as she aggressively. “You hear, that you rats! You’re going down.” she screamed maniacally, cracking her knuckles in case she’d have to finish the job.
Terri quickly scanned through the Starly. She wasn’t too bright but she guessed there were at least ten of them there. Judging by her Pokémon’s poor attempt at defeating a worthless Sentret, this could take awhile. “Ollin, do something!” she said through her teeth. Looking down, she realised her beret was ruined so there was no point in keeping it. Out of the need to do something, Terri forcefully tossed the hat at the starlings. While the beret itself was soft, Terri knew exactly how to make it sting. “Hurry your ass up or you’re next!” she Terri reminded the bulldog as she began to search through her bag for more worthless items.
“Snubbull, snubb!” Ollin whimpered, preparing to use a Faint Attack. He decided to target the toughest-looking Starly. Maybe if he could take the leader on, the others would get scared and back off. Overall, it was for their own good. Terri was busy looking for items to throw so sticking around was a bad idea. As the girl continued rooting through her handbag, she came across a Poké Ball. She quickly stopped for a minute, a smile forming across her face. She’d capture one of these Pokémon to get her out of here. She could make their life a total nightmare to make them pay for what they did. This was perfect.

The reality of how many Starly there were was more than 10; It was actually more like two dozen, give or take from the number. They may be a small, weak bird Pokemon, but Terri was overlooking one critical flaw with her battle strategy to "kill them all": There was a shitload of small, weak bird Pokemon and only one of her and one of her Snubble. When she threw the pink, timid Pokemon into the group and begun to scream at her, they knew from instinct what was going on. They felt like they were under attack! A saying goes "birds of a feather flock together". In nature, birds are somehow able to coordinate with one another in perfect harmony, like the cells in a body work together to function as a whole. The Starly did the same when they quickly divided into two equal groups to take care of the "threat" that attacked their "body". The Snubble thrown directly into the fry quickly ganged up on by about half of the group instantly and the other half went after Terri. They came dive-bombing her from every direction, smacking her with their wings and jabbing at her with their beaks. If she even had a shred of conscious inside her body, she would know that she had pretty much brought this catastrophe upon herself. Sure, they did swoop in low and gave her some "presents", but they were wild Pokemon. Good luck trying to convince the girl of that, though. After a minute or so of the retaliation by the Starly, they quickly all fluttered off over the horizon as quickly as they came. Ollin lay in the middle of a pile of feathers in a bit of a fetal position. It may have just been ganged up on by the whole lot of those birds, but was still pretty much in one piece... whether or not that'd be a good thing or a bad would be determined by how Terri felt. Why did the Snubbull feel like it hoped it died in the chaos? Every single one of the Starly were gone: They came, they saw, they kicked some ass before a real proper battle was to ensure. Maybe some higher source of authority was telling Terri her place? Well, even if it was, the message probably won't go through any time soon. But that was fantastic... the net profit from this was one ruined hat, some torn clothing, a cowering Snubbull, and no Starly. " Starly!" From the opposite direction of where the flock had flown, a single, unaffiliated Starly had come swooping in on its own, minding its own. It had nothing to do with the previous flock before, but it was probably going to be at the butt-end of all the anger pent up just because it was a Starly... oh boy. The traditional case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. A Wild Lv. 4 Starly Appeared!

Terri Mason - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
If you see me comin' down the street…
Terri clenched her fists as she waited for Ollin to thrash every last Starly. “I’m waiting!” she shouted, impatiently. Deciding that her Pokémon wasn’t carrying out his job properly, the girl decided to take matters into her own hands. Terri rolled up her sleeves and began to march towards the flock but before she could get there, the Starly decided to take off again. Terri glanced around, checking to see if Ollin had managed to hold onto one. As suspected, the fairy Pokémon was completely useless. Terri rolled her eyes and began to roar at the Starly as they flew off. “Yeah, you better run, you rats with wings! If I ever get ahold of you, I’ll break every last one of your necks!” A familiar sound suddenly grabbed the girls attention. Terri swung around to find a lone Starly waddling around. “Oh, so we have a tough guy, do we? Well then, you can pay for all your cowardly friends!” Terri slowly stormed towards the starling, laughing manically. “Snubbull!” Ollin attempted to warn but Terri was too enraged to listen to what he had to say. “Ollin, if you get in the way once more, you’ll be the one I injure!” the girl snapped, her eyes still focused on her target. Ollin pitied the poor Starly. It had no idea what was going on and it didn’t deserve to get caught up in this. The Snubbull quickly dived in front of Terri, attempting to rescue the flying-type. He knew she wouldn’t listen to reason so he’d have to be the one to battle it. “Ollin, what are you doing?” Terri asked, coming to a halt. The trainer’s arms were still shaking due to her anger build-up. “If you’re going to do this, you better do it right!” she threatened. “Use your strongest attack!”“Snubbull snubbull!” Ollin answered, taking a moment to study the Starly. It didn’t look particularly strong and judging by the standards he’d seen on this route so far, it probably hadn’t much battling experience. Ollin felt slightly guilty for picking on this innocent Pokémon but he knew battling it himself would be doing it a favour. “Ollin, get your ass into gear! I’m sick of this place and I want to leave! We’ll use that thing to find a way out so do the job right!” Terri interrupted. Realising that he couldn’t stall any longer, Ollin decided on an attack. Faint Attack was probably his signature move at the moment so he decided to go with that. The Snubbull threw himself forward, readying himself to distract the Starly so he could attack. Judging by the Pokémon’s appearance, this wouldn’t be too hard to do. That was, if he could avoid tripping himself up for once. …Then you know it's time to go

Starly was for most part, a pretty chill sort of rat with wings. From the days the flock used to harass vendors in the parks, it knew humans were a pretty good source of free food and when this ebony-skinned one with the funky fur hat came tromping its way, the bird couldn’t be bothered to give half a damn, more interested in picking the ground for worms that taking noticed of the gorgonite wrath blazing in her eyes. As it looked up with a mouthful of grub which it down in one gulp, the avian raised an eyebrow at the oddball pair of snotty trainer and some hot-pink thing that looked like a bulldog in a tatty Victorian collar. Bad sense of fashion persay. It wasn’t paying any attention to the heated conversation between them either, only snapping back to its senses which went from greenlight to DEFCON 21in five seconds flat when Victorian Bulldog suddenly made to rush its way like a derailed locomotive, albeit one which looked to have been forcibly painted by a blind Michelangelo. With a loud screech, the avian flapped its wings, attempting to take off somewhere safer when something suddenly smashed into its back, hurling the bird forward to kiss the ground before skidding across the soils a good several feet to come to a direct halt at the young woman’s feet. Looking up blearily into the human face, the Starly’s features were contorted into a powerful dislike as he flapped up and pecked the trainer harshly in the foot as a non-verbal ‘***** you’ before turning around to catch within its sights the stupid-looking mutt with the oversized jowls. They wanted to play did they? Well it was going to play with them alright. It was going to play hard. Balancing itself adeptly upon wings which helped steer it in a straight line, the bird took advantage of the dog’s seeming reluctance to take off the kid-gloves while handling it, and damn if the bird wasn’t going to abuse that to its full potential. A loud battle-thrill streamed from its open beak as the Starly launched itself upon Ollin in a hard Tackle that sent the chubby dog head over heels to smash back-first into a large boulder. A few of the remaining Starlys watched the fracas, tilting their heads to a side in interest before backing off into the shelter of the trees when they caught sight of that woman. They wanted nothing to do with her, and if she had business with the lone rangerbird down below, well, they weren’t inclined to being a part of it. Puffing up its feathers in a menacing manner, the bird let out a low squawk that sounded more like a cat’s hiss as it glared daggers at the trainer whom this candy-colored turd undoubtedly belonged to. The snotty little ***** had the audacity and the nerve to blindside it where it hadn’t been posing any threat? Well it was a threat now and it was going to take more than a clumsy, reluctant little Snubbull to tame the fire…… --[FIGHT!]-- | STARLY Lvl 4 Health; 36% Status; DUDE WTF

If you see me comin' down the street…
Terri wasn’t impressed by Ollin’s attempt to maim this Pokémon. He’d easily knocked around that hideous Sentret so what was preventing him from putting up a fight this time? To make matters worse, the Snubbull was effortlessly tossed back against a boulder. A vein began pulsing over Terri’s left eye. Now this was just insulting. Her Pokémon was having trouble battling something that she could squash by stepping on it. “You idiot! Can’t you try any harder! It’s a *****ing bird!” Terri roared, stomping her feet. “You should be able to flatten that piece of crap without trying! Now do it right or I’ll have to take care of both of you myself!” the girl snapped. She began cracking her knuckles as she glared at Ollin to let him know it was time to finish this. Terri looked disgusted as Starly made some sort of hissing noise. “Bleagh, what a nasty Pokémon. As if looking that bad wasn’t punishment enough! Ollin, get rid of it. Now.” The bulldog pulled himself to his feet. Fortunately, he was at a much higher level than the flying-type. He could tell that this starling was livid that he’d had the nerve to attack. He did feel a little sorry for it, but then again, he was doing it a favour by keeping his trainer away from it. Ollin glanced around him to make sure there was nothing in his way. Confirming that it was safe to attack, the normal-type began to dash forward. “Use Bite!” Ollin suddenly stopped in a state of shock. “Snubb?” Did his trainer actually give him a command? “What’s your problem? Bite that *****, you fool! Take that bird down!” Though he was amazed that Terri had picked up something from their battles, Ollin knew by her gritted teeth that it was time to go. As Starly glared intimidatingly at him, the fairy Pokémon rushed on all fours, following his trainers orders. As he closed in on his foe, Ollin leaped up and revealed his large teeth. He was more than ready to chomp down on this Pokémon. The quicker they finished this, the quicker they could get to Cherrygrove. With more people and police officers around, hopefully Terri wouldn’t be able to cause as much trouble. …Then you know it's time to go

The sight of those massive, flabby jowls which had first been a source of derisive amusement to the little bird turned into something out a Kaiju movie; Those fangs did not look right at all planted firmly in the gums of the little Victorian pug’s wide-open maw which looked more and more like a bear-trap running its way and the bird had no interest in finding out if it snapped close with the same force as well.
“Star! Starly STAAAAAAR!!!” The bird turned tail and started to dash on its skittery, spindly feet, trying to get out of range from the dog’s jaws, but Ollin was the living embodiment of Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass. For one, despite his fat, stocky exterior, he moved faster than any animal his girth had the right to though the fact hat he was part fairy underneath all; that bulldog probably helped somewhat. Then, there were his jaws. The heavy jowls certainly weren’t for show as the Starly soon found out---after berating itself for not simply flying off much earlier, it flapped its wings hurriedly, sending a scattering of dust towards Ollin and that ***** lady who commanded him, and if Starly could have picked a trainer, it would be a cold day in hell before it picked her.
It was airborne. It was free—free from the bloody witch and her stupid, candy floss whelp---
“SNUBBBBB!” Ollin however wasn’t easily deterred knowing full well that if he backed off here, Terri would take matters into her own hands, and he wasn’t sure that the bird would survive the onslaught. The bird was a few feet above ground by now and out of his reach, but he swiftly made up for the difference by launching himself off the top of a large boulder to slam into the bird jaw-first, his teeth clamping down on it’s feathery ass.
The next few moments were a bedlam as dog and frantic, pissed-off bird whirled and tumbled around in the air in a shower of downy feathers and bits of fur much to the intrigue of the other avian onlookers as the Starly finally grew too tired to continue bearing his weight and came crashing to the ground with Ollin’s teeth still planted firmly in its hindquarters.
:”Snubbull Snub….” Ollin muttered, face twisted distastefully as he unhinged his jaws from the bird’s flesh, spitting out feathers and god know what else. Perhaps that wasn’t the best place to deliver the attack, but the bird wasn’t moving and making nothing more that little painful cheeping sounds, and he assumed the battle was over. He got off and shook away the feathers plastered to his body from sweat and huffed out his chest before crossing his stubby arms, giving the bird a ‘you made this harder than it had to be’ look before waving Terri over.
He wasn’t sure if she wanted to catch the thing, but the fire in her eyes seemed to suggest ‘yes’. Well, if she did, at least he wouldn’t have to suffer her volcanic temper alone…

If you see me comin' down the street…
Terri cackled loudly as Ollin sunk his teeth into the defenceless bird, annihilating her as they made contact. Nobody could humiliate this trainer and get away with it. Revenge was sweet and for once, Terri seemed happy. Ollin cowered away, startled by the girl’s sudden change of tone. She may have gotten exactly what she wanted but the bulldog was more intimidated than ever. The Snubbull suddenly lost his footing and landed awkwardly on the floor. “Snub…bull…” he whined, rubbing his head gently. He glanced over at Starly who was still too weak to fly away. If Terri was going to capture it, she’d probably have to hurry though. Ollin then realised that the laughing had ceased and Terri was staring over at him. He must have caught her attention by tripping himself up. In a state of panic, Ollin frantically began to point at the exhausted Starly. Terri slowly turned her head and began to stare blankly at the Pokémon. It then occurred to her that she had planned to capture it. The girl began to root through her grimy bag, finally revealing a Poké Ball. Terri wasn’t exactly sure how to go about capturing a Pokémon but she recalled hearing at the Trainer’s School back in Rustboro that it was always better to weaken them. The girl took one step back and extended her arm back before firing the sphere at the defenceless Pokémon. Being quite athletic, Terri’s aim and force was rather impressive. A wide smirk covered the girl’s face as she hit her target. The wild Pokémon was pummelled in the head, knocking it unconscious. “Sweet! That had to have done some permanent brain damage!” the girl bragged to her first Pokémon. The two observed as the Poké Ball opened up and Starly was drawn inside. “Piece of cake!” Terri boasted, strutting over to the shaking globe. She didn’t seem to realise that the capture wasn’t yet secured. Ollin sat anxiously as his trainer approached her Poké Ball. He thought about making a run for it but he knew she’d eventually catch up with him. If that Poké Ball opened again, Terri would be livid. She reached down and caught the Poké Ball in her hand. “Ollin! Why is this thing still moving?” she questioned, a vein in her head beginning to pulse. However, to the Snubbull’s relief, a pink light and a faint noise indicated that Starly had successfully been captured. “Snubbull!” Ollin pointed out. “That’s more like it! Now let’s exploit this piece of crap so we can get the hell out of here!” The girl flung the ball high into the air, watching her new Starly materialise above her. As the Starly took a deep breath to recover from her injuries, she suddenly realised that Terri’s hand was around her neck. “If you value your life, you’ll quickly learn not to fly above me! If you ever shit on me again, I will snap your neck. Got it?” she threatened. Starly nodded uncertainly though she had no idea what Terri was talking about. Fortunately, she seemed to have made the right decision as the girl loosened her grip and began to talk to Ollin instead. “What should we call this thing? Let’s see...what’s the ugliest name I can think of? ...I got it! We’ll call you Edwina!” Terri smiled disdainfully. “Now make yourself useful and get us out of this place!”Edwina was nervous but she was used to rejection. The other Starly had probably set her up. The way she saw it, things could only improve from here on. She was determined to form a bond with this trainer eventually. She soared high above the trees, checking for civilisation. She could see Cherrygrove City from where she was but it was still quite a distance away. It was probably better to get moving soon. Terri was filthy from all of the wild Pokémon that had attacked her. Maybe a night at the Pokémon Center would raise her spirits. Edwina sure hoped so. “Edwina! We’re waiting!” The bird pointed out the direction and began to lead the way. They were bound to run into some more battles, but if they moved quickly, they could avoid spending the night camping out in the snow. …Then you know it's time to go StarlyName: Edwina Gender: FemaleLevel: 4 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Personality: Edwina is full of positive thoughts and always looks on the brighter side of things. Despite her optimism, she always seems to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her cheerful attitude is constantly backfiring as others find it irritating. As a result, she’s had to become more independent and often ends up on her own. In the rare cases that she’s included in groups, she’s normally being used and given the most degrading roles possible.
