The trek out of Ilex hadn't been as bad as Justin had anticipated, but that was all thanks to the monster of a Gyarados he'd raised up. The thing wouldn't hurt a fly unless provoked, but that didn't change his intimidating, tattoo-ed appearance. Either way, riding the back of the serpent was enough to help the aussie photographer out of the forest and into the clearing that led up to Goldenrod. He returned his Gyarados and checked out a sign that was close, indicating a cottage was somewhere near by. Damn! I could totally use a bit of R&R after that go about... He murmured, deciding to head over to the cottage path instead.
After a few moments of walking (which he did dread, although the promise of a cottage was close at hand) he arrived at a vast garden, something pretty on his eyes and his nose. Flowers dotted around the cottage, but he couldn't tell if anyone was home or not, so instead took to the garden to look at the flowers and the beauty. Sure beat the monotonous walk to Goldenrod, and definitely the tree... tree.... tree... of Ilex.
There was never much to do in the garden. Not even Jax was out today, probably because Mac had shut the door to the back garden, this was something that Butterfree was unsure of, but either way, it's normally playful friend wasn't there and it had nothing to do. Sighing, it flew off its normal perch in order to scan the garden for something to do. The deeper garden was somewhere it didn't want to think about heading into, with all the Pidgeotto that stopped there.
It needed something to do, and maybe, maybe someone had found their way into this place. Mac did welcome house guests after all, despite the protests that came from his own daughter about opening the cottage to strangers. He was convinced Jazzy didn't know what she was talking about, when in reality, the old man was probably lonely. He heard the rustling of the grass, crunched lightly by the step of a shoe. Hopefully, it wasn't that noisy, sightless girl that had come to live here again.
Thankfully, it wasn't. A stranger to the house, and he needed to be welcomed. Butterfree swooped down over his head and perched on a nearby fence post. It wanted to battle, and why? Well, it was bored, and this, was what most of the wild Pokemon in this garden did when they were bored. ------------------------- A Wild Pokemon Appeared!
A Wild Butterfree (Level 20) Wishes to battle you!
It hadn't taken too long for a pokemon to show itself. The garden was beautiful, so it had to have contained a few Pokemon, aye? The Butterfree in all it's majesty sat a the post, looking over at Justin with a bit of a bored expression. Ya must not get visitors much, do yah? he grinned, pulling out a Pokeball. He released his own flier, Capona, to battle with the bug. Butterfree sure is pretty. Justin noted, and Capona gave a brief nod. Perhaps, but nothing compared to the grace of birds. She snorted, taking to the air.
Good thinking, Capona. Go at it with a Wing Attack. The Butterfree sure is pretty, but it sure don't hold nothin' against yer grace. He added, attempting to fuel her wide ego. It helped her in battle, and she enjoyed it, so it tended to work out. Capona's wings glew a slightly lighter color than her actual black, and she dove forward towards the bug.
