One of the trades he have to proceed was trading away the Luxio he caught in Safari Zone Lottery thing. To be fair, he never knew what it was called until after he returned to Cherrygrove City from the hunt. He wasn't a fan of electric type pokemon.
Not long after he posted his offer, someone with a rather uncommon name responded her interest. The name sounded familiar, but he can't remember where. Looks like he would have to meet and found out.
One the day of transaction, instead of waking up late like he would be with the trade of this Tobias person, he got up early. He put on a jacket as he saw the dark clouds looming above. It might be long, or short when the rain downpours, and he wouldn't want to be wet as he walks around.
He strap on his backpack and pocketed his pokeballs and exited out of the Violet City Pokemon Center. Looks like this time the trade will be conducted in a familiar cafe where he planned to conduct his list of trades, and to have a morning cup of tea and cake for breakfast.
After he had placed his order with the waiter, he stared through the glass windows and looked for someone who seemed to be his trade recipient.
OOC: let see how this goes Alex can't remember Sandy's face from the beach XD hope you're okay with this setting

Sandy sighed, all this foot traffic and she was going to be very late! She nervously sifted through the crowd as she tried to make it to one of the local Cafe's. Muru plodded along behind her, attempting to keep up with her trainer's pace. When a girl smacked into Sandy and didn't even apologize, Muru growled and whipped around.
"Yo, Barbie Doll, watch who you walk into! It isn't a surprise that you can't see through all that make-up! What did you apply it with, a shotgun?!" Sandy stopped in her tracks upon hearing what Muru had said out loud. The girl that had passed was now looking back at her, a glare sent straight in her direction. Sandy gave her a nervous smile and plucked Muru off the floor, turning and bolting through the crowd. The Mudkip that had attached himself to Sandy's shoulder shook his head.
<<There's an art to talking to others, you do know that don't you Muru?>> Muru rolled her eyes and rested her head against Sandy's arm as the rushed through the crowd.
<<Art my tail, Valan. There isn't an art to talking to anyone.>>
<<There's an art to everything, actually.>>
<<Whatever you say Picasso.>> She really, really didn't want to hear the art speech for the third time today. Valan had already done it twice and she was near ready to Psychic him into a brick wall. Finally, Sandy pushed through the door of one of the buildings, and the bell that sat over the entrance rang.
Sandy sighed in relief, glad that they had made it without someone attempting to kill her for her Espeon's bad talking them. Even if she knew Muru was just looking after her, it was hard not to want her to stop. Valan scanned the Cafe, seemingly delighted with all of the colors and patterns that they used, making the little accents on the decoration of the cafe pop.
"Now, he said he'd be here...I wonder..." Sandy glanced around the Cafe, looking for the owner of the Luxio she was supposed to be trading for today. That's when she spotted a familiar face. It was Alex, a man she had met at the beach not to long ago. Or maybe it was a long time, she hadn't been sure these days. Walking over to him, allowing Muru to walk on the floor now, she stood beside one of the chiars and smiled.
"Hardly recognized you without a smoothie in your hand Alex. I don't think you remember me, but I'm Sandy, we met at the beach a little while ago." Looking around, she added. "Are you the Alex I'm supposed to trade my Cherubi to?"

"Oh... Hi!..." Alex greeted in surprised as the female appeared, with an espeon by her side, not to mention he was looking through the windows too intensely.
No wonder she looked familiar! They had met in Cherrygrove Beach some time ago. Long ago. One of these two.
"Yes," he quickly replied, slowly recovering from the surprise earlier. "Take a seat."
"So, my Luxio for your Cherubi," Alex finally calmed himself down as he pulled a pokeball from his backpack.
"Glad to hear you'll accept the offer. They have nice cake here too if you want to stay after the trade," the trader commented and complimented the cake, trying not to be social awkward.
He turned his face toward the kitchen/cashier desk to see if his order arrives.

Sandy didn't seem to notice he had been surprised at all. Though, being herself...she never noticed everything. Muru snickered though, for she had caught that they had startled him, and starling people was quite fun sometimes! Valan caught the Espeon's little satisfaction and rolled his eyes. She was turning into quite the troublemaker. Sandy began to speak as she took a seat. "I'm sorry, I said I'd be showing up with my Squirtle, but she was feeling sick this morning so I had to leave her with Nurse Joy, I hope it didn't confuse you." She explained as she assisted Muru in climbing onto her lap. The Espeon's violet-sapphire gace focused clearly on Alex. She hoped this wasn't some kind of fraud deal, because no one was going to rip Sandy off with some kind of cheap trick...or she'd have to Psychic them into a brick wall in Valan's place. The Mud-fish Pokemon on the other hand, was all to focused on the Sweet treats that were coming out of the kitchen, admiring the decoration, and more so the smell. Sandy smiled as she took a moment to look at Valan. Well, she hadn't been aware of how much he enjoyed sweets. "Well, I'm not that into cake at the minute but I'll have some orange juice I suppose!" She turned to Muru and told her to order an Orange juice for her, a frosted cookie for Valan, and whatever she wanted- one thing that she wanted for herself. After being helped down, Muru limped off to get the attention of a staff member, Valan leaping of Sandy's shoulder in tow. "Right, well let me show you who I've got here, I just like to make sure you know I won't try and pull a fast one on you." Holding up a Pokeball, she released a small, round pink Pokemon, the common Cherubi with a few different details. The stripes that most Cherubi carried were missing, and it's leaves were serrated looking, like holly leaves. "He's a bit different, but there were a few like him where I got him from. His name is Rupi." she said, patting the shivering Cherubi in an attempt to calm him. "I'm sorry, he's a bit timid, even around me he likes to hide. But it's easy to work with him when you gain his trust." She mentioned. Holly CherubiName: Rupi Gender: Male Level: 10 Moves: Tackle, Growth, Leech Seed Ability: Chlorophyll Nature/Personality: Rupi is a little on the timid side, and by little, it is meant he shies away from everything in sight. He might even avoid his trainer, if he can. Other: ZapdosZulu Christmas 2011 Gift

Upon hearing the girl's sick squirtle, Alex frowned to showed his sympathy. "Aw... Hope your Squirtle get well soon!" he offered his concern, but was distracted by her energetic pokemon. Her espeon who can telepathically order food and the mudkip who seemed to be interested in sweets and candies. His mood quickly smiling as he looked at her pokemon, thinking the taps would be on her anyways, right? And what a friendly bunch of servers, he knew he picked the right cafe. Then, he shifted his attention back from her amused pokemon and her offer. As she began her offer, her pokemon appeared and the grass-fanatic Alex grinned happily at the sight of the colorful, leafy pokemon. "Oh wow! Name's Rupi? Like Ruby? Ruby pie? I don't know, haha..." he laughed nervously at his wild guess. Then, he mentally agreed to show the pokemon he would be trading too. "Well, I guess I will need to show the pokemon I am trading with you too. It's a Luxio that I have caught not too long ago in the Safari. Since Rupi is a bit timid, I'll show him outside of the glass."Then, hastily, the male trainer brisked out to the door to the empty street and tossed a pokeball. A blue, furry, quadrupedal and intimidating creature appeared. It has a small, glaring eyes but its face showed that it's probably not awake yet. Luxio Name: [choose] Gender: [Male/Female] Level: 11 Moves: Tackle, Leer, Charge Ability: Rivalry OR Intimidate Nature/Personality: [choose] As he was showing the pokemon for the brief seconds, he saw the waiter coming out of the kitchen with the cake and tea that he had ordered and the orange juice the female had ordered. He returned the pokemon and hurried back inside for his food. "So, Sandy, do you like what you're seeing? I haven't bond with this pokemon so I think it would bond to you more after the trade," he inquired as he picked up a fork and began to eat and listened. OOC: I am going to assume the Cherubi is on the table lol. It would be weird to look at it on your lap and have the Cherubi in the tight space between the table and you lol. (and partially assuming the luxio is too big to be in a cafe lol)

Sandy watched as Alex released his side of the trade. A cute, sleepy blue and black creature was shown to her from the outside of the cafe, though Sandy didn't think she was large at all. In fact, she seemed to be about Muru's size, but she decided not to ask about that. As the waiter came in, she thanked him and looked to the floor to see that Valan and Muru were already scarfing down whatever it was they had gotten. Taking a sip of her orange juice, she hadn't even noticed Alex sat back down until he started speaking.
"Huh? Oh yes, I didn't see it too well from where I was sitting, but I'm sure she's the real deal. I'm just hoping Rupi will be happier with you than he is with me. I don't have many grass types, so when you told me you did over the phone I thought he'd be best off with you." Looking at Rupi, she allowed a brief look of sympathy to cross her features as he shivered quietly.
"I am going to miss him though. You know...even when I don't spend too much time with them, I can't ever help finding it hard to let them go." She reached out and quickly pat the nervous Cherubi on the head.
"Rupi, this will be your new trainer alright? I'm sure he'll treat you right, but try to get more confident for him, okay?" Rupi looked up at her with a confused expression, but finally nodded. Seeing that, Sandy picked up his Pokeball and returned him, sliding it across the table.
"There you go. I'm sure he'll get along with you fine." Sandy assured him, her eyes wandering to Muru and Valan very briefly.

Before Alex began dining on his meal, he smiled at Sandy. "Hopefully next time you see me, Rupi will be more experienced."
He listened to her as she continued her concerns about the Cherubi. He paused eating and commented, "Well, parting with pokemon is probably as hard parting with people. But we all hope for the best for the other parties, hm?"
"Or at least," he picked up the Luxio's pokeball and slid it across the table horizontally, right between Sandy's orange juice and his plate, "old bonds break and new bonds form."
He took a long nonverbal break to continue slowly eating his cake, then he distracted the mood and added, "Looks like your pokemon are enjoying the food here."
OOC: eep! have no idea how to work with your post lol
