Bug Catching Contest Signups (Open)

Bug catching time! It seems the Bug type fanatic Bugsy has rented out the entirety of the field in order for fellow Bug enthusiasts to hunt down all sorts of creepy crawlies to their hearts content in a head to head competition to see who can best catch a bug!

This contest is now a constant fixture every time the season of Summer & Autumn come around on the forum. Not only do you have beautiful weather and pleasant scenery to enjoy but this intense contest to boot. So if you are for some reason unable to participate this contest, there is always next year when it rolls around.

Nevertheless, here are a few things to remember. This thread will be open for one week and one week only in order to allow hopeful participants in the contest. There is only one condition you have to keep in mind, only characters who have beaten Falkner and claimed his Zephyr Badge in the Violet Gym may take part in this contest.

Now, I am sure I can hear some of you pondering how this will work... "Hey Joe, if my character's all the way in Violet and hasn't set foot out of it, how can they suddenly warp to the Pokéathalon?" Easy peasy, this is all taken care of with the wonder of traveling coaches. Trainers will be boarded at various pick up stops and dropped off at the pavilion and back home in time for a spot of supper. One would hope.

Additionally, you may have this topic alongside your main adventure as it will count as an Event, so don't feel worried that your progress in the roleplay will be impeded.
