Taken abruptly off guard by Catherine latching onto something throwaway he mentioned, he sat there with a bemused look on his face as she seemed to jump to the entirely wrong conclusion about what he got up to as a profession. "A MODEL?!?!" His voice could hardly contain his surprise. Given how little he cared about his appearance, as well as being very rough around the edges, he failed to see how she reached this conclusion. "I know a guy who does modellin' though. Ashton summat." Trying to recall the male model's surname, he stuttered as she pieced together her reasoning. "Well... Yeah I am tall but what's that gotta do with anything?!" Unable to keep up with her other assertions, he decided to let it slip and just keep cool. There was no way he was getting up on a catwalk. His was a fashion that would never go out of fashion as it was never IN fashion. Deciding to let her whimsy away with the insane idea of him being a model, he left it open ambiguously. "Alright, alright, alright... Guess in some definition of the word you could say i'm famous. For all the wrong reasons..." He mumbled, trailing off. Instead, his interested was piqued at the conversation of Atlas and Clive's abilities. "Hm, so he's really useful to have around. If you're going Azalea way, you'll have to trek through this maze like forest called Ilex. At least you can rest easy on the fact you can heal yourself with his skills." Grinning brightly at what Catherine said about Clive, it was clear that she may not have really had a full appreciation of what she had said. "Stalling people huh? The lil' fella is really gonna come in handy." His mind aflutter with the limitless applications of the Bulbasaur, he could see a huge plethora of scenarios. He could get Clive to pickpocket from afar with his Vine Whip, stall or knock out targets with Sleep Powder, Leech Seed to tag and follow targets. Even Razor Leaf to slice at targets from afar or flawlessly slice through glass containers.
As the subject of the police popped up once more, Joey knew he had to try and ward her off from revealing too much. He disliked the police for numerous reasons but he knew there was no way he was going to persuade her that they weren't of any use. She had struck him as the type who would see them as upholders of justice. "Listen 'ere, if the police ask you anything about me just keep quiet about it ok?" If they came across anyone who had any sort of connection with Joey, he knew they would get the hard end of the deal by being questioned incessantly. At this point, they needed a scapegoat to make up their bumbling attempts at trying to arrest him. "Say you got rescued by Electivire Man like you said." Knowing that would likely confuse the living daylights out of them, he chuckled at the thought of not being able to work out the true identity of the guardian. As she told him to look after to Clive, Joey made a mock salute as he laughed. "He's in good hands. Next time we all meet, you'll be in awe over how i've looked after him. That Bulba's got great potential." Realising as she was speaking that it seemed she was implying she needed to be off, he smiled warmly as she thanked him for his words. "It was Lady Luck smilin' on this that we met and i'm glad for it. I know I can count on you too." Laughing off the idea of him escaping, he made a nonchalant shrug. "I don't think i'd need to. I can tell you're the type who doesn't give up." It was only when she embraced him that he listened to her own words of sincerity. Touched, the usually eloquently chatty biker had to pause before he founds the words to reply. "Heh... Aside from my ma, that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me. Look, I can't promise you that I won't not try. A thing like this damn Kyurem isn't just gonna disappear. No matter how high you build ya walls or how deep ya stick ya head into the ground. In the simplest way o' things, Kyurem is a bully and my bread and butter is takin' them down a notch or three."
Pulling her away a little, he looked down at her and smiled reassuringly. "I know there are people who care for me out there. And that is exactly why I ain't gonna lose to nobody. I'm as stubborn as they come." Patting her head somewhat roughly, he laughed heartily. As he was doing that, he was going to continue on when chaos struck. Given Yumina was about it was actually a record breaking time in which havoc had not been plagued upon those present. With the sudden impact, Joey flinched his expression and surprisingly took a sigh of relief as it appeared Catherine was right on the case. Steadying herself and giving Piccolo the order, it wasn't long before the situation was back in order. Letting out a whistle, Joey smirked proudly. "Heh, gotta say it's good to know you'll be able to handle Yumina. I don't think anyone managed to reign her in that quick." As Catherine began returning all her Pokemon, he realised that the time to say farewell had come. Given that the had both been going in their own directions when they intertwined, it was no surprise they would have to return to what their original destinations were. "I guess yer right. There's always time in the future though. Let's do what we need to do and meet up again sometime then." Understanding she was heading to Azalea, he decided to give her another bit of insight about the area. "If you do go traipsing around Azalea, just be sure to get a bit tougher. The Rockets you see running about in the streets are just goons trying to look tough. Those on actual missions can be a lot tougher." Patting her on the side of her arm, he laughed. "I don't doubt ya for a sec though. Show 'em what happens when you hurt Pokemon like that!" As she beckoned him to go outside, he tumbled on behind her. Piqued by curiosity, Calistra, Voltek followed suit. Leaving Clive to pounce onwards after them to get a look on their reactions.
Making sure he was there, Joey watched as she then turned and tossed a Pokeball forward. She had mentioned she had one other member so he was wondering as to what it could be that would need to be unleashed outside. A Flying type that hated enclosed spaces, a watery creature of the depths? Instead, as reality began to sink in, all of Joey's team and himself stood there with their jaws ajar. Nothing could have prepared them for THAT. Their necks looking upwards as they took in the behemoth size of Sadaharu, there was speechlessness all round. As she mounted Sadaharu and began to head off for her next goal, Joey struggled to respond with his goodbyes. "Uhhh... Yeah... Seeya sis..." Meekly raising his hand and waiving, it was clear that the nurse to be Catherine was unlike any other person he had met on his journey. Or would ever likely to meet.
