"So you made it," Aglaias grandfather stated pleased as he has just seen the pidgey she had managed to catch. Aglaia had arrived at Cherrygrove and had called her granddad on the videophone as soon as Nurse Joy had taken care of her pokemon. She wasn't stupid enough to call him with battered and bruised pokemon. "What have you called it?" He asked and Aglaia looked surprised at him. "Called it?" She asked confused. "Yes, what is its name? You have to name your pokemon to bind with them, as you have read," he told her and send her a firm glance, as he wanted a name right here. "Eh," Aglaia mumbled as she tried to come up with something to call the pidgey. "A name? The book recommended it too, though it was so the pokemon didn't get confused," she thought and rubbed her temples in an attempt to come up with some thing. "A bird name, a pidgey name, a dove name... Paloma!" she thought as she remembered the name on pigeons she once saw in a book. "Paloma," her granddad sad slowly, as she had told him, looking at her with a sly smile before letting it fly. "Well done Aglaia, and now to your next task: I want you to get a pokemon without catching it," he started when Aglaia interrupted him. "Oh! I've already done that!" She told him and showed him Shadow as she told him how she had got her hands on it. He stared speechless for a moment, before he started laughing. "You are learning fast, which is good. I have to give you a more challenging task then," he said with a huge smile, and Aglaia smiled back nervously. "Choose a color: green, yellow or pink?" He asked.
Half an hour later, Aglaia sat on a cold bench, in the chilly wind as she tried to find a pokemon which was yellow and had the type advantage against one of her pokemon and disadvantage against one of her other.
(ooc: Aglaia is in Cherrygrove right now^^)

A sudden shuffling noise might startled Aglaia was she was sitting on a bench in Cherrygrove City. The streets were mostly empty before this rumbling noise started, since people were generally busy with their lives and not a trainer anymore. The noise-maker appeared to be moving on the street, shaking up the soft ground to indicate its trail. If Aglaia would look closely, the strange creature appeared to be a Diglett! And it was coming up right to her bench in a steady speed! The Pokemon looked like it was either late for something or running away from something. Whatever that case is, the ground type was a busy body and digging and moving along was how it moves! Nobody actually ever saw its body, though.
A (Level 9) Diglett with weird nose color will be digging past Aglaia's bench! Would she intervene? Escape?

Aglaia was pretty clueless of what pokemon she got to find, and she regretted she had left the Pokemon Center and the warm that had been inside. The weather had just made it pretty crowded and she had wanted some quiet time to figure out her next catch. The only thing she had figured so far was it could be a bug type or an electric type, and she had yet to figure out if there were any of those types which had a yellow species or even were in this area.
Aglaia closed her notebook as she decided to go back into the Pokemon Center when a strange beavering pokemon travel past her, completely ignoring her. She quickly pulled her poked ex as she before had made mistakes when she hadn't: "Diglett, Mole Pokemon. The soil is perfect for planting crops when this pokemon has dug through it." Jonna frowned as she looked closer at the picture on the Pokedex to the one who dug past her. "That was strange, what is it doing here in town if it belongs to the farmland?" She thought and looked closer at its nose. "It must be sick," she decided. "Being this far from where it belongs, and with that nose it probably has a pretty bad flu," she thought as it was the only thing that make sense to her. "I have to get it to Joy then," she thought and didn't believed she could get it there without a fight, as it was clearly too sick to understand her. "It will be a quick fight," she thought pleased as she called out Paloma. "Stop that thing there, use your.." Aglaia had to look Palomas attack up in the Pokedex and growled annoyed as it still wouldn't show her all its attacks. She hoped they would appear after a while as it had done with both Saurys and Shadows. ..Tackle! she ended her order and watched as the little pigeon hopped towards the strange brown pokemon. Nurse Joy had told her, it's wing would take some time to heal from the deep scratch wounds, so it couldn't fly at the moment. The pidgey clicked its beak ready to show her great skills as she had never lost a battle.
(ooc: Paloma uses tackle, and CANNOT fly ^^)

The blue nosed Diglett wasn’t sick. Or if it was, it didn’t think it was. It had been blue nosed all it’s lie, which was why it was currently in town- his family had booted him under the impression that the blue would make him much easier to see. So far, he had survived on his own, but today seemed to be a fateful day. He had merely been minding his own business, burrowing to a place where he knew there would be water, when a Pidgey had suddenly slammed into him in a tackle! He turned to it, staring at it in shock at it’s rudeness, and chattered it’s displeasure. So, in return, the Diglett raised a paw, and, in a movement impossible to see, slashed the Pidgey along it’s chest. BATTLE Wild Diglett ~Level 9 17/23 Diglett used Scratch… somehow! Level 3~ Aglaia’s Paloma 6/16 Paloma used Tackle!

""Pii-iidgey! ''I'm going to wi..' Paloma chirped her challenge but were interrupted as Aglaia called her back into her pokeball again. "Granny was right, pidgey is an easy catch," she thought as she found out another pokeball. Even Aglaia could see Paloma was way below the diglett in strength, as she had been thrown back, without Aglaia were sure on how it was actually attacked. Paloma hadn't barely got back on her feet again, and her wings had shaken as she had chirped at her opponent. Aglaia held forth another pokeball, and a green pokemon appeared in front of her. She had decided to use the same tactic as against the screaming pokemon she had met earlier. It had worked then, so why shouldn't it do it again? "Saury, use a leech seed on the sick diglett," she ordered her pokemon and pointed towards the blue nosed head before them
Saury looked worried at the angry diglett, what had his trainer done now? He didn't like what she had become, and feared it would be even worse. With a apologizing glance at the diglett, he sent a single seed flying towards it.

Seeing the trainer switching Pokemon, the Diglett can't help but growled loudly. The mole Pokemon had somewhere urgent to go to, but it just cannot be stopped by this battle! Silly human! The ground type growled loudly, as if warning both the trainer and the Bulbasaur who just spawned on the field. Then, Saury popped a big, brown seed toward the mole. The unfortunate mole now had its body wrapped by strange vines coming out of the seed. Angry, the mole dug into the ground. Saury looked suspenseful as he turned his head left and right hoping to dodge a hit. "Saur!" the Bulbasaur shouted and hopped from his place, or rather, he was hit by the Diglett from underneath, somehow scratching the Bulbasaur's skin. The surprise and low impact popped the Bulbasaur flying.

Aglaia frowned when Saury was sent flying. How did that pokemon do it? She didn't like to battle a pokemon were she couldn't see how it attacked, how could she ever prepare for something she couldn't see? "I'll just have to hope Saury and Shadow and take whatever it throws at them," she thought as she readied Shadows pokeball. "Saury, Tackle," she ordered as she still wanted to train her pokemon, even though it was against a sick pokemon. And as she had been told it was Shadow who needed it most, it was her she had in focus.
Saury kept a good eye on his opponent as it was good at disappearing under ground, and he didn't know how to predict from where it would pop out again. With a short glance at his trainer convinced him she didn't have any idea either and he was on his own or had to just accept the digletts attacks. Saury turned his attention back to the mole pokemon, and tried to figure out when it would be the best time to hit it with the tackle. If he didn't time it right, it would just burrow itself again and he would miss it and probably get another belly scratch.

Diglett dug again for another Scratch. Thankfully, it's a young Diglett so it haven't mastered the art of earth bending. Sadly for Saury, there was nothing for him to do but wait to be hit. He lifted one leg after another and checked underneath him if the Diglett would come up. He even kept walking in an disorganized pattern in hope to confuse the Diglett. Yeah, right. The ground type suddenly sprung up and scratched the Bulbasaur on his belly once again. Saury landed on his back-bulb, but quickly flipped over and charged for a tackle. Even though the grass type was weakened, combined with the Leech Seed which just drained health from the Diglett, the grass type had halted the Diglett from going wherever it was trying to go. The ground type was severely weakened.

Aglaia narrowed her eyes as the diglett disappeared into the ground, "Where did it go?" She thought nervously, though she didn't show anything. "If it doesn't come back up again, then what can I do? If I cannot get it to Joy, I hope it can make it by itself," she thought without being aware she actually worried about this strange unknown pokemon. Aglaia was about to tell Saury to stop fooling around and concentrate on the battle, when he in her eyes moved around without purpose. But then as he once again looked underneath him, she suddenly understood and with that she got much more pleased. "That was a good idea, but I need to know more about the digging pokemon to figure out how to predict its movement," she thought as Saury got scratch on the same way as last time. "Though It is definitely glad to do it from below, and I still don't know how it attacks," she smiled without amusement.
Aglaia bit her lip, as she didn't know how well the battle went or when would be the right time to put in Shadow, so she just did as against the spinda. "It was at this time Shadow got in and ended the battle last time, and this time can be as good as any else," she thought and called Saury back into his ball, as soon as he had tackled the ground type, and he gave a surprised squeak as result. Aglaia held forth another pokeball and soon a lilac feline appeared on the battle field instead. Shadow looked around puzzled and tilted her head in wonder of the strange looking pokemon on front of her. "Shadow, use a scratch attack on it," Aglaia ordered and the purrloin looked surprised at the head in front of her. How should she scratch a thing underground? She would just damage her claws as she was sure it would just retreat below and hide. She chose to use the assist instead in hope of getting something else less risking. Aglaia frowned as it didn't look like Shadow was going to obey her orders and a white orb started to form between the purrloins two front paws. "That looks more like the strange tackle, than a scratch attack" Aglaia thought.
(ooc: Shadow used Assist!)

As soon as Shadow had hopped into the fray, the Diglett dug again underground. It was as if the ground type was bothered by this meddling human and her Pokemon. The purple feline kept the white orb low powered between her hands, readying to strike. Instead, the Diglett hopped out as before, striking her with a blindingly impossible-to-see scratch. The Purrloin was tossed upward from the impact, however the flexible cat took this opportunity to charged up her Assist and dove to attack the Diglett. Just before she struck her Assist though, the vines wrapping the Diglett glowed a brilliant, maybe neon, green color and sapped health. Then, the Purrloin dove as her body was enveloped by the white orb. The next thing happened was the blue-nosed Diglett was fainted on the ground, passed out. Though no one could still see what's below its stubby head.

Aglaia sighted relived when the sick pokemon didn't move and she threw a pokeball at it, and picked it up as soon as it stopped moving. Then she called in Shadow who had been on her way towards her trainer, to spent some happy time with her. Aglaia immediately headed to the Pokemon center, and on her way she thought about the battle. She was a little worried about Shadow as she had clearly been using the strange tackle attack which her pokedex called "assist". Aglaia wasn't sure of she should scold her or just ignore the obedience, since the purrloin had used it when she had been tossed into the air, which could explain the reason. "I really don't hope I need to learn her by force, like the red-haired recommended," she thought nervously and bit her lip. Aglaia burst into the Pokemon center and walked straight to the desk to speak with Nurse Joy. "Excuse me, I have found this one which I think is sick. Can you take a look at it?" She asked and held forward the pokeball which contained the diglett with the blue nose. "And if you have the time, I think my own needs a checkup again, as I'm not sure how badly they are hurt," she continued and made sure Paloma would be the first to be looked at, if Nurse Joy had time to look at her pokemon so soon. Nurse Joy released the Pokemon onto a cart, took one look at the Ground type and her eyes opened wide, "Oh my!"
Another trainer at the front desk chuckled, leaning with one elbow on the counter casually as she shook her head. "That Pokemon isn't sick, it's just a special color. There were rumors of a shiny Diglett in the area. Trainers came for miles hunting for it. Guess we can all pack up and move on."
A group gathered around to take a peek at the unusual mole, their expressions varying from incredulity to disappointment to jealousy.
"Alright, you've all had a look, now back up! I'll have your Pokemon healed in just a moment." The pink uniformed young woman shooed the other trainers sweetly and smiled as Chansey collected the rest of Aglaia's Pokemon. "Feel free to relax in our new lounge while you wait."
A short time later Chansey came up to Aglaia with a small trolley. "Chansey Chansey!" All of her Pokemon were ready to go again. The round pink assistant motioned over to the cafe, indicating her team may want a snack before they did any more training. "Sey!"

"Yes I know, that is why I brought it here," Aglaia said, as she thought Joy was surprised about the digletts bad state. Before she could say anything else a woman at the desk speak up, and Aglaia looked surprised between the speaker, the diglett and Nurse Joy as the brown pokemon apparently wasn't sick at all. "That explains why it was so feisty and strong," she thought while she blushed more and more until she looked like a tomato. Aglaia really felt stupid as her inexperience was showed to the whole Pokemon Center and other trainers gathered around to catch a glimpse of the special diglett. On the other hand she was proud of having such a rare colored pokemon, and couldn't help but shine a little in the envy of some of the more experienced trainers. The diglett on the other hand, didn't like what he saw as he slowly started to wake up in the middle of the crowd, and Joy was quick to shoo them all off. The last who went was the human who had battled him and he assumed it was her who had caught him and brought him here. His eyes narrowed as he watched her walk away, what was her intentions?
Aglaia was quick to follow Joys advice and took a look at the lounge and she took notes on what made it such a welcome and cozy place. She found a seat and read about shiny pokemon on the pokedex, since her book didn't told anything about it. It was a children's book about battling and befriending pokemon, and things like shininess either was seen as all mans knowledge or as unimportant in this matter. She was only just finished when Chansey arrived and handed over her Pokemon, and Aglaia thanked her politely and looked confused when the pink pokemon pointed towards the cafe. "Why should I go there? I'm not hungry," she thought and turned her attention to the pokeball which contained her new pokemon. She had thought of leaving it at the Pokemon Center, either so it could be a wild pokemon once again, or another trainer could take care of it, but know she knew it was rare, she decided to keep it herself. It would be a good trademark for her planned store in the future, as people would come to see it. She still didn't have any idea of it could help with anything in the shop, but she didn't have any idea to Paloma or Shadow either, so she didn't find it important to figure out right now. Then she clipped the pokeballs in her belt and rose to find someone in here, who could help her figure out her next challenge.
((ooc: yay, something else than only batlle? nice with a little break ^^))

As the new trainer walked out of the Pokemon Center, a Pokemon ranger started her rounds. Many trainers avoided her, for she was rather… eccentric. She thought everyone else were cruel Pokemon trainers who abused their Pokemon, and aimed to free them. Even her own Pokemon avoided her. “Hey! You, yeah you!” the ranger cried, seeing Aglaia walk out the Pokemon Center. “Just what do you think you’re doing with those poor Pokemon!?” she pointed dramatically at the Poke Balls on the girls belt. “How dare you abuse them like that!?” her own Pokemon, a pair of Nidoran whom walked several feet behind her, gave the trainer a pitying look as they shook their heads. “I’ll free those Pokemon from your tyranny! I challenge you to a battle! Nidoran F, let’s go!” The female Nidoran slowly loped forward, staring at the girl unhappily. Ranger Nikki challenged you to a battle! Aglaia succeeded in finding some trainers who could help her figure out, what it was she was supposed to be looking for. She wasn't sure though, they had been to much help, since they didn't know what pokemon were in this area. They had suggested a lot of pokemon and types, but ended having a rather angry discussion with each other about it. The girl was sure it was a combusken or a mienfoo since the fighting type would be strong against Shadow, and Paloma would have the advantage. The boy argued it had to be an electric type or a water type, like a elekid or a psyduck, and the young children started yelling it could only be a raikou, since it was the strongest! He was ignored by the two older ones, which Aglaia was too, and she didn't like it. "But of all those pokemon, are any of them known to be in this area?" She asked and had a hard time sounding polite. The trainers looked at her, like she was rude by interrupting them, and the girl shook her head. "Not that I know of," she stated and they continued their discussion like Aglaia wasn't even there. Aglaia walked away annoyed and was approached by yet another trainer on her way out. "They have forgotten the bug types too, as they are strong against your dark type, and weak to your flying, though the only pure yellow colored ones I can remember is joltic, but they don't live in this area either." Aglaia looked surprised at the other trainer and said her thanks before she was heading outside. She knew a little of what to look for now. Aglaia barely made it outside, before another trainer approached her, though in a quite different manner and with a completely other reason. "I...am battling with them?" Aglaia answered confused and frowned when she was accused of abusing them and being a tyrant. "Where did that come from? She is battling with her own pokemon too?" Aglaia thought angrily and stared down the other trainer. The day had started so good and now... look at it. "What are you talking about? Why on earth are you saying I am abusing my pokemon? You battle with yours too," she answered annoyed, well aware it wasn't the best way to calm the situation. Aglaia took her time, as she didn't want to be thrown into a battle without knowing any of her opponents, and she soon held a pokedex towards the blue-ish rabbit: "Nidoran, Female, Poison pin pokemon. Though it is small, beware of its poisonous barbs. It uses them as protection."That didn't sound promising in Aglaia's ears, and the pink one behind the yelling trainer looked a lot like one she had sent forward, so Aglaia was happy she was so close to the Pokemon Center. "Well, a battle is a battle, and she can't take my pokemon anyway, right?" Aglaia thought as she picked up a pokeball, more calm now she was busy planning her strategy and she didn't think anything worse could happen, other than the trainer trying to insult her, as they were in the middle of town. Aglaia walked to the side of the road, in an attempt to damage it too much before she called out Saury. "Leech seed on the blue pokemon," she told him, before she asked the other trainer: "Well, do you want to give me an explanation on your claim?" She asked the brown dressed trainer in front of her. ((ooc: sorry I'm controlling the environment in the Pokemon Center, but I needed to link the posts together, since I hadn't left the Center and actually tried to find some help in there. But it is a nice touch to the ranger, I think ))
